LIFESITE NEWS — WARNING: This article contains graphic and disturbing sexual content.
LEXINGTON PARK, Maryland, January 6, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — Despite creating an outcry among concerned parents in 2017, a public library once again plans to host a lesbian pole dancer’s “Teens-only” sex ed class for 12- to 17-year-olds.
“Teens have questions about sexual health, whether its [sic] birth control, lubricants, STI testing, LGBTQ relationships, or something else completely,” reads an event description posted by the Lexington Park Public Library on its Facebook page. “This will be an informal workshop where your teen can ask ANY sexual health question you want and get an honest answer.”
Parents will again be prohibited from attending and are expected to “wait in the general Library areas, or in the other room were [sic] we will be putting on a program about the importance of science-based, LGBTQIA+ inclusive sex-ed.”
The event is sponsored by two regional atheist organizations, Southern Maryland Area Secular Humanists and Washington Area Secular Humanists, as well as the local chapter of PFLAG, which identifies as the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents, and their families.

Lexington Park, Maryland is a mostly rural exurb of Washington, D.C. that has emerged as a surprising battleground over “teen-only sex ed” and “Drag Queen Story Hour” events at its public library.
According to blogger Shannon Tracy, who works with MassResistanceTexas, parents have plenty of reason for grave concern about topics that might be addressed in the Sunday, January 19 session conducted by controversial speaker Bianca Palmisano.

EXCERPTS: WALDORF, Maryland, March 2, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — When a homeschooling mom discovered that several publicly funded libraries were offering sex-ed classes for minors led by an LGBT activist, prostitution promoter, and self-described "pole dancer," she decided to do something about it.
Kijesky called around and found that several other public libraries in Maryland were hosting the same sex classes for minors without adults. She noted not only the lubricant sponsor but that "safer sex kits" were to be distributed to the children as young as 12.
Kijesky began investigating the classes, the hosting libraries, and the instructor. She was shocked to find the teacher, Palmisano, is a lesbian "pole dancer" who encourages parents to enable their children’s transgender inclinations.
Palmisano also advocates for the legalization of prostitution.
Perhaps more to the point, Palmisano advocates for homosexual sex instruction along with heterosexual sex education to children as "early" as possible in case they "don't grow up to be straight."
Palmisano, who describes herself as “a queer woman married to another woman,” gives presentations on bondage, sadism and masochism. She promotes herself on social media as a "vivacious queer, feminist, dancer, and sex geek."
"There's nothing 'safe' about facilitating a sexual discussion that could potentially invite exposing our precious children to sexual deviancy," Kijesky concluded. "And there's nothing 'safe' about having 12 year olds with 18 year olds together in the same room asking questions pertaining to sex.  We do not want sex in our public libraries!"
