Hillary Clinton: Civility Out of the Question Unless Dems Win Midterms

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
There are rare things in this world.
Waterfalls in the desert. Sunny days in Seattle. And something like a moment of honesty from Hillary Clinton. It's very partial, but still entirely implausible.
Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that civility in America can only begin again if Democrats win back the House or Senate this fall.
We won't be civil to you... until we take over.
At least Hillary comes close to admitting that this is about power. And that the Democrats will do destroy any public norms to get it.
"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about," Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour. "That's why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."
All Republicans seem to respect is strength?
Who wore it best, Mussolini or Hillary?
"There can be no democratic norms, until we take power. But we're only doing it because strength is the only thing the other side understands," every tyrant ever.
"I remember what they did to me for 25 years -- the falsehoods, the lies, which unfortunately people believe because the Republicans have put a lot of time, money, and effort in promoting them," Clinton said.
The Republicans have even managed to shamelessly convince folks that Hillary Clinton didn't bring peace to Northern Ireland, try to join NASA or land under fire at an airport.
Or get named after Sir Edmund Hilary.
All these Republican lies are a serious problem. Like the time Republicans tried to convince people that Chelsea Clinton wasn't jogging around the World Trade Center on 9/11.
"So when you're dealing with an ideological party that is driven by the lust for power, that is funded by corporate interests..."
Projection is a sad and unmerciful disease.
Clinton said. "I want to stop the degrading of the rule of law. The delegitimizing of elections."
She said while delegitimizing the election that she lost

Top Democrat figure greenlights Left’s intimidation, threats of violence against Republicans

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton rejected Republicans’ calls for civility during a CNN interview, asserting that Democrats will only become civil if they win back Congress.
In an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Monday, Clinton said that one cannot be civil with a political party that “wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” referring to the Republicans.
“That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again,” Clinton declared. “But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”
Clinton is the latest Democrat to pile on the over-the-top rhetoric against Republicans following the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, where leftists went all out aggressively harassing Republican politicians, disrupting the Senate chamber, and threatening violence against Kavanaugh supporters.
Earlier this summer, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) called on leftists to harass Trump officials and supporters in public places.
“And so, let’s stay the course. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she yelled to her leftist base.
Republicans have pushed back against the alarming level of harassment and intimidation waged by the left.
Sen. Steve Scalise (R-La.), who was shot and nearly killed by a rabid leftist last year, recently called for a return to civility, but was mocked for doing so by leftist media.
Additionally, Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) wife Kelley recently revealed in a CNN op-ed that she sleeps with a loaded handgun under her pillow due to death threats and the violent attack on her husband by their crazed socialist neighbor.
“In the last 18 months, our family has experienced violence and threats of violence at a horrifying level,” she wrote Saturday. “I have never felt this way in my life.”
But according to Clinton, that’s exactly what Republicans deserve – unless they hand over power to the Democrats. Only then will Democrats become civil again.
Does anybody really believe that?
Rather than set an example of leadership and denounce violence and intimidation by their base, the Democrats are keen to hold civility and polite discourse hostage unless Republicans surrender power.
Until then, they’re content with accelerating cultural divisions in America to ignite a bloody civil war which they will blame on President Trump.

President Trump confirmed on Tuesday that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is resigning from that post and leaving the Trump administration, effective as of the end of this year. He praised Ambassador Haley as a “very special” person who had helped him solve "a lot of problems.” The reason for Ambassador Haley's resignation remains unclear as of the writing of this article. However, President Trump said that she had told him six months ago that she might want to take some time off.
Nikki Haley has been one of the greatest and most courageous UN ambassadors that the United States has ever had. She has stood up for America and its national sovereignty without any apology, even if it meant going against the latest instances of so-called "international community consensus."  She strongly defended Israel and helped to begin chipping away at the UN's inherent bias against the Jewish state. Ambassador Haley has spoken out forcefully against Russian aggression and deceit in various speeches at the UN Security Council. And she has made it one of her top priorities to expose the Iranian regime's malignant behavior, including its use of terrorist proxies to sow mayhem in the Middle East and beyond and its ballistic missile program in violation of a UN Security Council resolution. She has explained and strongly defended the Trump administration's decision to withdraw the United States from the loophole-ridden nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and to re-impose sanctions on the Iranian regime.
At the same time, Ambassador Haley has proven her negotiating skills, which eluded her Obama era predecessors. She was instrumental in negotiating the tough UN Security Council sanctions against North Korea that have played a major role in North Korea's decision to pursue negotiations on denuclearization and to suspend its nuclear bomb and ballistic missile tests. Not content with words on paper, she has doggedly sought to keep the pressure on Russia and China to strictly enforce the sanctions.
Upon entering UN headquarters for the first time in January 2017 as the Trump administration’s UN ambassador, Nikki Haley told reporters, “you are going to see a change in the way we do business.” She added that the Trump administration “is prepared and ready to go in – to have me go in, look at the UN, and everything that’s working, we’re going to make it better; everything that’s not working, we’re going to try and fix; and anything that seems to be obsolete and not necessary, we’re going to do away with.” Ambassador Haley made it clear that the administration would be “taking names” of “those who don’t have our back.” She has more than kept her word.
After the dysfunctional UN Human Rights Council failed to heed Ambassador Haley’s warning to reform or lose U.S. support, the Trump administration withdrew from the Human Rights Council. This travesty counts some of the world’s worst human rights abusers as its members, while spending much of its time and resources hounding Israel. It is about to add some more human rights abusing countries to its membership.
Ambassador Haley worked tirelessly to trim the UN’s peacekeeping budget. She led the Trump administration’s move to curtail U.S. funding of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). Since UNRWA’s establishment in 1948, the U.S. has spent approximately $5 billion propping up what was supposed to be an agency for temporary relief until the original refugees leaving Israel after it declared its independence could be resettled in neighboring countries. While the U.S. was throwing more good money after bad, UNRWA was hiring terrorists, teaching hate against Jews in its schools, and perpetuating a permanent refugee status for millions of Palestinian descendants who insist on the so-called “right of return” to the territory encompassing pre-June 1967 Israel. Ambassador Haley, with the president's support, said that enough was enough. Why, Ambassador Haley once told me, should the United States keep supplying funds unconditionally through UNRWA and other channels to assist Palestinians who turn around and bash the United States?
Ambassador Haley highlighted the Trump administration’s unwavering support for Israel and its insistence on U.S. national sovereignty when she defended President Trump’s bold decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. She declared in her remarks to the UN General Assembly, which had passed a resolution condemning the U.S. move, that “the President’s decision reflects the will of the American people and our right as a nation to choose the location of our embassy. The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation.”
UN Watch executive director Hillel C. Neuer issued a laudatory statement in the wake of Tuesday’s announcement that Ambassador Nikki Haley will be resigning as of the end of the year. He praised her for standing up for “truth, fairness and human rights” in the face of “an assembly of dictatorships and their apologists.” He added that Ambassador Haley “was unafraid to stand alone to defend moral clarity, for example by calling out the obsessive singling-out of the Jewish state by the UN's Human Rights Council and other bodies that have become hijacked by tyrannies."
In reflecting on her service as UN ambassador, Nikki Haley said, “It was a blessing to go into the U.N. every day with body armor.” It has been a blessing for the United States to have had as its ambassador to the United Nations for nearly two years a leader possessing her moral clarity and grit.

Nikki Haley Speaks On Resignation 10/9/18

Nikki Haley, meanwhile, told reporters that she would not be running for president in 2020, promising she will be campaigning for Trump. Haley, who is widely admired by Republicans and seen as a tempering figure within the Trump administration, “discussed her resignation with Trump last week when she visited him at the White House,” Axios first reported. “Her news shocked a number of senior foreign policy officials in the Trump administration.”

Deliver Remarks

Trump supporters should celebrate her departure

Nikki Haley has resigned as UN ambassador, which is the best news for Trump supporters since Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed.
“President Trump has accepted Nikki Haley’s resignation as UN Ambassador, according to two sources briefed on their conversation. The timing of her departure is still unclear,” reports Axios, adding that news of the resignation has “shocked a number of senior foreign policy officials in the Trump administration.”
However, Haley’s departure should be celebrated by Trump supporters. She was and is a neo-con and an establishment crony who advocated the very foreign policy positions that Trump ran against.
Haley has repeatedly favored jihadists in Syria by supporting the destabilization of Bashar Al-Assad’s secular government. Back in June, she insisted that any chemical weapons attack in Idlib would be immediately blamed on Assad, despite the large number of terrorist groups in the area and a track record of ISIS carrying out previous chemical weapons attacks.
She then re-iterated this claim last month, asserting that any chemical weapons incident would result in a U.S. attack against the Syrian Army (which is fighting ISIS).
Haley has also repeatedly bolstered the fraudulent narrative, invented by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the deep state, that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election to help Trump.
“When a country can come interfere in another country’s elections, that is warfare,” Haley said in October last year.
Haley has also fanned the flames of hysteria by lobbying for an increasingly hostile position against Russia. Earlier this year, she ludicrously asserted that Russia could launch a chemical weapons assassination in New York.
Earlier this summer, Haley even told young conservatives that needed to stop “owning the libs” online because it doesn’t “persuade anyone” and instead they should act like establishment conservative sell-outs like Never Trumper George Will.
Haley was the biggest swamp creature left in the Trump administration. Good riddance.
“Before John Bolton’s hiring, Nikki Haley was probably the most pro-war, pro-imperialist high-ranking Trump official, and therefore the most beloved Trump official by the war-loving US media. She held every conventional foreign policy view that has generated so much destruction,” tweeted Glenn Greenwald.
According to Jack Posobiec, Haley resigned because she is ” trying to avoid an ethics investigation on private jet flights she received.”
During a press conference in the Oval Office to announce her resignation, President Trump said Haley wanted to “take a break”.
Whatever the reason, Haley’s departure is a good thing for Trump’s America first, non-interventionist agenda.
Bye bye, Nikki.

Hysteria was the first mental health illness attributed to women. For centuries it was considered both a common and chronic medical disorder. Female Hysteria was intrinsically intertwined with women’s sexuality and reproductive organs. The origin of the term hysteria stems from the Greek equivalent for uterus ‘hystera’. Symptoms included everything from nervousness, sexual desire, insomnia, irritability, loss of appetite, and a "tendency to cause trouble".  Hysteria was the diagnosis for everything that men found mysterious or unmanageable in women and was used as evidence of the instability of the female mind. Many women who were diagnosed with hysteria were forced into insane asylums or to undergo surgical hysterectomies. One of the major triumphs of the feminist movement was to eradicate the diagnosis and stigma of female hysteria.
After centuries of fighting against stereotypes of women as irrational emotional hysterics, Christine Blasey Ford and her cult of feminist victims reestablished the worst stereotypes of women as fragile, defenseless, erratic and unstable. When women were marching for equal rights, equal pay and equal position in society, they did not envision being represented by a woman who is the very personification of female hysteria. Christine Blasey Ford’s fragmented recovered memory of a sexual assault, her 36-year-old ongoing trauma, uncorroborated allegations, childlike affectation, feigned helplessness and alleged irrational fears are a profile in female hysteria.
The American Psychiatric Association dropped the term female hysteria in 1952. Subsequently, the classification of disorders formerly known as female hysteria have been controversially categorized in other conditions such as schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, conversion disorder, and anxiety attacks. Another condition that was formerly associated with hysteria is referred to as Factitious disorder also known as Munchausen Syndrome and related to Malingering. Malingerers commonly fake psychological disorders such as anxiety and fabricate trauma for a variety of reasons -- most often financial compensation tied to fraud. Munchausen Syndrome is a factitious disorder where people feign disease, illness, or psychological trauma to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves. Symptoms include phobias, anxiety disorders, a history of recurrent hospitalization and dramatic, extremely improbable tales of their past experiences. The person often exaggerates or creates symptoms of illnesses to gain attention, sympathy, and/or comfort from medical personnel. In some cases, the person becomes highly knowledgeable about the practice of medicine and can recite and produce symptoms to garner more attention.
Christine Ford received a lot of attention and sympathy when she testified before Congress about her alleged assault by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.  During her testimony, Ford frequently responded not as a victim but as a physician. When asked by Senator Feinstein about the impact the events had on her, Ford responded:
Well, I think that the sequelae of sexual assault varies by person, so for me personally, anxiety, phobia and PTSD-like symptoms are the types of things that I’ve been coping with. So, more specifically, claustrophobia, panic and that type of thing.
When Senator Feinstein asked her how she was sure it was Judge Kavanaugh that assaulted her, Ford responded:
It’s — just basic memory functions. And also just the level of norepinephrine and epinephrine in the brain that, sort of, as you know, encodes — that neurotransmitter encodes memories into the hippocampus. And so, the trauma-related experience, then, is kind of locked there, whereas other details kind of drift.
The press praised her unusual responses by characterizing her as a research psychologist who appeared as her own expert witness. The reason expert witnesses do not testify on their own behalf is that a court and jury rely on expert witnesses to be disinterested parties, who are not biased and have no motive to fabricate an issue. It never occurred to the media to question Ford's self-diagnosis as the result of a trained political operative or the manifestation of a mental disorder. In fact, people who suffer from factitious disorders often research and study symptoms and diseases, so they can better fake them. Ford has made a career out of studying mental illness, writing prolifically about the long-term impacts of trauma, including trauma related to sexual abuse. She would know exactly how to lie about the symptoms and trauma associated with sexual assault.
There is a significant difference between studying trauma and authentically experiencing it. The genuineness of Christine Ford’s choice of language, affectation and disclosures were questionable. Throughout her entire testimony there was no other person, event, detail, or evidence that corroborated her testimony. Her demeanor and body language appeared rehearsed and coached. The most obvious pretense was her speech pattern. During most of her testimony she used a deliberate and calculated childish voice to project vulnerability and helplessness. When responding to specific questions about her trauma, she spoke in the third person in the guise of an esteemed physician. Survivors of sexual assault do not describe their trauma in the third person nor do they have to read from a written script to remember the details.
One week after Ford’s testimony, Nadia Murad, a 25-year-old Iraqi Yazidi woman was awarded the Nobel Peace prize for her campaign to end wartime sexual violence and to free the Yazidi people who were captured by ISIS terrorists. Murad became the voice and face of women who survived sexual violence by the Islamic State after she escaped sexual slavery. At 19 years old she was captured from her village of Kocho. Six of her brothers and her mother were killed in the massacre. Murad was sold as a sex slave and repeatedly gang raped, tortured and beaten until she escaped. Nadia Murad is a true survivor. By definition survivors do not think of themselves as victims. The differences between Ford and Murad is evident in their own words.
The first time Nadia Murad attempted to escape she was caught and was punished by being gang raped by six of her slave owners guards. She was then subjected to even more abuse as she was passed around to other militants. She described the incident in her memoir, The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity, and My Fight Against the Islamic State:
'Nadia, I told you that if you tried to escape something really bad would happen to you,' … A moment later Morteja, Yahya, Hossam, and the three other guards walked in, staring at me. …As soon as I saw them, I understood what my punishment would be. Morteja was the first to come to the bed. I tried to stop him, but he was too strong. He pushed me down, and there was nothing I could do. After Morteja, another guard raped me. I screamed for my mother and for Khairy, my brother…... My body was covered in filth left by the men ….The bed still smelled like the men who had raped me.
Senator Leahy asked Christine Ford: “What is the strongest memory you have, the strongest memory of the incident, something that you cannot forget?” She answered, “Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter, the laugh — the uproarious laughter between the two, and their having fun at my expense.” Ford’s diagnostic answer of the strongest memory of her alleged sexual assault is being laughed at, while Murad remembers being covered in filth and what her rapists smelled like.
On June 21, 2016, Nadia Murad  testified before members of Congress during the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on Capitol Hill. The comparison between Ford and Murad is striking. Murad is not reading from a script, nor talking in a childish voice. She does not use medical terms or repeatedly refer to herself as a traumatized victim of sexual assault. She remembers every face, name and smell of her very real multiple serial sexual assaults. She holds her head up high and states that she was raped, sold and abused but wants Congress to know that there are hundreds of other victims and that girls as young as nine also suffered that.
Nadia Murad is a true profile in courage and bravery. Christine Ford is a profile in female hysteria. Murad refused to accept the strict social codes that require women to remain silent and bravely spoke publicly about what she had suffered. She did not remain anonymous to avoid personal pain. She inspired the world to collect and preserve evidence that would allow ISIS militants to be brought to trial.
Christine ford inspired mass hysteria resulting in roving mobs of hysterical women stalking senators in the halls of the capitol screeching about rape like some primal scream group therapy session. Ford inspired women to disrupt the confirmation vote by chanting "Shame! Shame!" like the religious zealots in a Game of Thrones episode.
Nadia Murad is a remarkable brave woman, a true survivor, a heroine fighting for justice for both men and women and the future of both women’s and human rights. Christine Ford is a professional victim, a throwback to female hysteria, the poster child for the infantilization of women, a disgrace to every woman who fought for women’s rights and an insult to every victim of sexual violence.

The pathological embrace of savagery

and mob mentality by the Left

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
When I was in graduate school, I learned a lot about the left. One lesson was that while most liberals and conservatives abide by society's rules of order and decency, most leftists do not feel bound to live by these same rules.
I watched the way leftist Vietnam War protesters treated fellow students and professors. I watched left-wing students make "nonnegotiable demands" of college administrations. I saw the Black Panthers engage in violence — including torture and murder — and be financially rewarded by leftists.
Today, we watch leftist mobs scream profanities at professors and deans, and shut down conservative and pro-Israel speakers at colleges. We routinely witness left-wing protesters block highways and bridges; scream in front of the homes of conservative business and political leaders; and surround conservatives' tables at restaurants while shouting and chanting at them.
Conservatives don't do these things. They don't close highways, yell obscenities at left-wing politicians, work to ban left-wing speakers at colleges, smash the windows of businesses, etc.
Why do leftists feel entitled do all these things? Because they have thoroughly rejected middle-class, bourgeois and Judeo-Christian religious values. Leftists are the only source of their values. Leftists not only believe they know what is right — conservatives, too, believe they are right — but they also believe they are morally superior to all others. Leftists are Ubermenschen — people on such a high moral plane that they do not consider themselves bound by the normal conventions of civics and decency. Leftists don't need such guidelines; only the non-left — the "deplorables" — need them.
In August 2017, University of Pennsylvania law professor Amy Wax wrote a column for the Philadelphia Inquirer in defense of middle-class values. She and her co-author cited a list of behavioral norms that, as Wax, put it, "was almost universally endorsed between the end of World War II and the mid-1960s."
They were: "Get married before you have children and strive to stay married for their sake. Get the education you need for gainful employment, work hard, and avoid idleness. Go the extra mile for your employer or client. Be a patriot, ready to serve the country. Be neighborly, civic-minded, and charitable. Avoid coarse language in public. Be respectful of authority. Eschew substance abuse and crime."
She later wrote in the Wall Street Journal, "The fact that the 'bourgeois culture' these norms embodied has broken down since the 1960s largely explains today's social pathologies — and re-embracing that culture would go a long way toward addressing those pathologies."
For her left-wing colleagues at Penn Law School, this list was beyond the pale. About half of her fellow professors of law — 33 of them — condemned her in an open letter. And Wax wrote in the Journal, "My law school dean recently asked me to take a leave of absence next year and to cease teaching a mandatory first-year course."
The Pennsylvania chapter of the left-wing National Lawyers Guild condemned her for espousing bourgeois values and questioned "whether it is appropriate for her to continue to teach a required first-year course."
As regards traditional Jewish and Christian codes of conduct, just read the left's contempt for Vice President Mike Pence's religiosity. They fear him more than President Trump solely for that reason. One would think that leftists, as sensitive as they are to sexual harassment of women, would admire Pence's career-long policy of never dining alone with a woman other than his wife. On the contrary, they mock him for it.
With such high self-esteem and no middle-class, bourgeois or Judeo-Christian values to guide them, many leftists are particularly vicious people.
The opening skit of "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend — Matt Damon's mockery of Judge Brett Kavanaugh — provided a timely example. It is unimaginable that a prominent conservative group or individual would feature a skit mocking Kavanaugh's accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Indeed, Kavanaugh noted his 10-year-old daughter's prayer for his accuser, and a political cartoonist promptly drew a cartoon with her praying that God forgive her "angry, lying, alcoholic father for sexually assaulting Dr. Ford."
Is there an equally prominent conservative public figure on the right who has ever said "F—- Obama!" on national television just as Robert De Niro shouted, "F—- Trump!" at the recent Tony Awards?
Now, why would De Niro feel he could shout an obscenity at the president of the United States with millions of young people watching him? Because he is not constrained by middle-class or Judeo-Christian moral values. In Nietzsche's famous words, De Niro, like other leftists, is "beyond good and evil," as Americans understood those terms until the 1960s.
In 2016, at a Comedy Central roast of actor Rob Lowe, the butt of the jokes was Ann Coulter, not Lowe. They mostly mocked her looks, and if there is something crueler than publicly mocking a woman's looks, it's hard to identify. For example, "Saturday Night Live" cast member Pete Davidson said, "Ann Coulter, if you're here, who's scaring the crows away from our crops?"
There surely are mean conservatives — witness some of the vile comments by anonymous conservative commenters on the internet. And it is a moral scandal that Ford has received death threats. The difference in left-wing meanness is the meanness of known — not anonymous — people on the left. They don't hide behind anonymity because they do not feel bound by traditional notions of civility, for which they have contempt.
Now you can understand why the left hates Mike Pence, a man who has, by all accounts, led a thoroughly honorable life. He — and other evangelical Christians and Orthodox Jews — tries to live by a code that is higher than him.
That ethic is what Ubermenschen seek to destroy.
They are succeeding.
