Kaitlin Bennett is the founder of Liberty Hangout and a recent graduate of Kent State University in Ohio.
After graduation, Kaitlin made national headlines for posing for her graduation photos with a PSA PA10 rifle to protest a school policy that prohibits students from carrying firearms on campus despite Ohio law allowing all citizens to open carry firearms on campus. The policy on students carrying on campus is left to the discretion of the school. Kent State chooses to not allow students to carry on campus.
Kaitlin says she wanted to protest the fact that Kent State policy which she says is "insulting to allow guests to be able to protect themselves but not students."
