If you thought Hillary Clinton would stop talking any time soon then think again. The
defeated presidential candidate told a fundraiser for a youth program
that the best way to stop terrorism was to “understand” other cultures
and their food. Yes, really. Hillary defended London Mayor Sadiq Khan, the man who once represented
9/11 Al-Qaeda member Zacarias Moussaoui, called moderate Muslims “Uncle
Toms” and said terrorism was “part and parcel” of living in a major
city.
Clinton said that Khan, who has called for Donald Trump to be banned
from entering the UK for a state visit (while actual terrorists from
Syria are free to return), had shown “steady, determined leadership”. Hillary
said the best way of combating terror was to “reach out to the world”
in order to “understand” people living in foreign countries. “Getting to know one another. Learning about the experiences, the lives, the cultures, the religions, the food,” she added.
One wonders what kind of “cultures” Clinton is referring to? Maybe the ‘culture’ of Bacha bāzī,
where elderly Muslim men dress up young boys as girls and then rape
them? Or could she be referring to female genital mutilation? Another
expression of Islamic ‘culture’ now endorsed by imams living in America.
“This
is not a time to lash out, to incite fear or to use tragedy and terror
for political gain,” said Clinton, a comment obviously aimed at Donald
Trump and anyone else who has correctly identified political correctness
and tolerance of Islamism as creating a fertile ground for terrorist
attacks in the west.
Maybe Hillary is right. Maybe we don’t need
to arrest the thousands of jihadists who walk our streets. Maybe we
don’t need to stop terrorists who have fought alongside ISIS in Syria
and Iraq from returning to the west. Maybe we just need to get a better grip on the dietary habits of Muslims. Who
knew it would be this easy to stop suicide bombers, rampaging knifemen
and jihadists who plough vehicles into crowds of people?

Reality
Leigh Winner has been named as the source of a leaked report on
Russia’s involvement with the United States’ election. She is a 25 year
old Air Force veteran who originally comes from Texas where she worked
as a linguist and yoga instructor. Currently, she lives in Augusta,
Georgia where she is an employee of Pluribus International Corporation.
Her employer is a sub-contractor of the NSA. Winner apparently has
many accomplishments in her life including having a top-secret security
clearance. The security clearance she has may have enabled her to gain
direct access to an NSA site in Georgia to download and print the
documents in question, which she leaked to “The Intercept.”
The
federal government was tipped off about this leak from The Intercept
itself because of their attempt to get the document verified after the
source (Reality Winner) dropped it off to them. At this point, the FBI
gets involved and Winner is nearly immediately identified as the leaker.
Within the first few days of the article featuring the leaked Russia
report going up on The Intercept’s website, she was arrested.
This
could very well be a deep state operation in which the young lady in
question was used as a patsy or the proverbial “fall guy.” One thing to
note here is that she would have had no business dealing with that
information at all. So the question must be … how did she know where to
look for it? The NSA must have all types of security layers that
prevent information from being easily found and stolen even for those
who have top level security clearances. Reality Winner’s social media
was full of anti-Trump rhetoric, so it would have been easy for
high-level shadowy figures to single her out as a weak link to use in
their ploy to undermine the President.

Trump berates London’s Muslim mayor over response to jihad attacks in London

President Trump has taken London Mayor Sadiq Khan to task for his
grossly insensitive statement about the London jihadist attack:
“At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack,” the
president wrote on his personal Twitter account, “and Mayor of London
says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’”
Only a “leader” with either an unsound mind or an unsavory agenda
could utter such bizarre words following a gruesome jihad rampage
(within two weeks of the one Manchester) that began with the mowing down
of innocent civilians and continued with a 12-inch blade “knife
frenzy.” All the while, the jihadis shouted “this is for Allah.” Khan’s words start to look more sinister than obtuse when one considers his own jihadist connections. He was reported by the UK’s Spectator to have known links to “extremists”:

of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah,
Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that
apostates must be executed.”
In September, Khan stated that
it was necessary for Westerners to be careful not to insult Muslims and
to affirm that Muslims can hold Western values, otherwise they would
join jihad groups. In other words, Khan was warning non-Muslims to
beware of insulting Muslims, otherwise they would kill you.
Also, it did not matter that jihad attacks in Britain tripled in five years: Khan boasted in March that he planned on bringing in 1,500,000 more migrants.
Khan should have never become Mayor of London in the first place,
given his unsavory background. His plan to bring 1,500,000 more migrants
to London will further expose London to jihad attacks and
infiltration.
The West is in a self-induced crisis and needs to end the practice of
putting political correctness before the wellbeing of its own citizens.

Donald Trump has criticised the mayor of London, hours
after seven people were killed and 48 injured in a terror attack in the
centre of the city.

In response, a spokesman for Sadiq Khan said the mayor had “more
important things to do than respond to Donald Trump’s ill-informed tweet
that deliberately takes out of context his remarks”.
Khan commented on the attacks in a statement overnight and in a
television interview earlier on Sunday. In the interview, he said there
was “no reason to be alarmed” by an increased and armed police presence
in the city that day.
In his statement on Saturday night, issued as the London Bridge
attack unfolded, Khan said: “Metropolitan police are responding to the
horrific terrorist attack at London Bridge and Borough Market.” He
added: “My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I’d like to thank
the brave men and women of our emergency services who were first on the
scene and will be working throughout the night.
“This was a deliberate and cowardly attack on innocent Londoners and
visitors to our city enjoying their Saturday night,” he said. “I condemn
it in the strongest possible terms. There is no justification
whatsoever for such barbaric acts.”
In the television interview on Sunday morning, Khan said the UK
general election, scheduled for Thursday, should go ahead as planned. He
added: “There aren’t words to describe the grief and anger that our
city will be facing today. I’m appalled and furious that these cowardly
terrorists would deliberately target innocent Londoners.
“There can be no justification for the acts of these terrorists and I am quite clear that we will never let them win.
“My message to Londoners and visitors to our great city is to be calm
and vigilant today. You will see an increased police presence today,
including armed officers and uniformed officers. There is no reason to
be alarmed by this. We are the safest global city in the world. You saw
last night as a consequence of our planning, our preparation, the
rehearsals that take place, the swift response from the emergency
services tackling the terrorists and also helping the injured.”
After Trump’s tweet, a spokesperson for Khan said: “The mayor is busy
working with the police, emergency services and the government to
coordinate the response to this horrific and cowardly terrorist attack
and provide leadership and reassurance to Londoners and visitors to our
city.

You can set your watch to it. In the wake of very jihad terror
attack, no matter how heinous and horrifying, in come the washerwomen

CNN had to stage it. Because there are never any Muslim protests
against jihad or female genital mutilation or gender apartheid or creed
apartheid or Islamic antisemitism. I have yet to see CNN, BBC or any of
the enemedia news outlets go to the hospitals and interview the victims
or speak to the mutilated, maimed, deformed little girls with holes in
their faces who attended the Manchester pop concert.
No matter the monstrosity, nothing changes. If the torn, dismembered
bodies of little girls at an Ariana Grande concert were not a
game-changer, then nothing will move the conquered and the unmovable.
Not only do we, the victims, have to clean up the flesh and bone and
blood running down the pavement, we must subject ourselves to endless
dawah (proselytizing) for Islam on mind-numbing news shows on the BBC,
CNN, MSNBC, and the like. FOX is lost. Sunday morning, Fox and Friends
had on liar and deceiver Mubin Shaikh (Robert Spencer debated him here), Shaikh said “we must never equate Islam and terrorism.” The hosts nodded gravely. There is nowhere on TV you can get reality.
Teddy bears, candlelight vigils and hashtags will not defeat jihad.
Islamic terror-tied groups like CAIR rub their hooves in glee in the
wake of every Islamic attack. After the body count, it’s their turn to
wage jihad in the information battle-space.
One of the jihadis said, “I’m ready to do whatever I need to
do in the name of Allah. I am ready in the name of Allah to do what
needs to be done, including killing my own mother.”
What further proof does anyone need? Why the madness and irrational
denial? Sixteen years after 9/11 and over thirty thousand deadly Islamic
attacks, this is where we are? Yes, deliberate delusion and collusion
continues. As I have so often lamented, in the wake of horrific jihad
terror comes the post-jihad dawah (proselytizing for Islam).
While jihadis scream “Allahu akbar” and “takbir,” elites in the media
and academia assure us it is not about Allah or Islam.
As for the Muslims laughing and shouting “Allahu akbar!” in the wake of the attacks, you won’t ever read about that in the enemedia.
Nor will you hear much about these scenes from the London jihad slaughter (as reported in the Guardian):
–“He just stepped outside the bar for a second and a
man ran up to him and said: ‘This is for my family, this is for Islam’,
and stuck a knife straight in him. He’s got a seven-inch scar going from
his belly round to his back,” Elizabeth O’Neill told reporters outside
King’s College hospital.
–The van was “probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour” and hit “five or six people.”
–According to another witness, Eric, the men inside jumped out once
the van crashed and “ran towards the people that they nearly ran over”. “[Then] they literally just started kicking them, punching them, they took out knives… it was a rampage really,” he said.
One man, Gerard, told the BBC he saw a woman being stabbed “10 or 15 times” by men shouting “This is for Allah.”
Nor will you hear much about the words spoken to a mother in London before a jihadi plunged a knife into her son’s stomach: “This is for Islam.”
Will we ever learn their motive?
One of the other jihadis who attacked London with two co-religionists
before being shot dead by police deceived his neighbors into thinking
he was a great guy, a good neighbor. He played football with their
children on the nearby field. Secretly, he had a devout, destructive
hatred, and he frequently changed his appearance in preparation of
unleashing a deadly Islamic attack on the capital city, during which
seven people died and up to 50 were injured last night. How many other
“moderates” are in our midst? More than you can imagine. Prime Minister Theresa May and every major media news outlet insists
jihadis have “perverted” and/or “hijacked” Islam? How have they
perverted it? They cite Quranic texts and teachings chapter and verse. They follow the hadith, Muhammad’s example.
Harun Khan, who leads the Muslim Council of Britain, said, “I am
appalled and angered by the terrorist attacks at London Bridge and
borough market, in my home city. These acts of violence were truly
shocking and I condemn them in the strongest terms.” Is that so. What
have Khan and his coreligionists who allege that this is a
misunderstanding of Islam done to combat it? There is, for example, not a
single program in any mosque or Islamic school in the UK (or the UK) to
teach young Muslims to reject the Islamic State’s understanding of
Islam. With the Islamic State energetically recruiting young Muslims in
the US, that is a significant omission.
The Sun says that Ramadan is meant for devotion and peace. Since when? As Robert Spencer has noted: “A jihad group explained it
back in 2012: ‘The month of Ramadan is a month of holy war and death
for Allah. It is a month for fighting the enemies of Allah and God’s
messenger, the Jews and their American facilitators.’ Referring to a
jihad attack that happened at that time, the message continued: ‘One of
our groups aided by Allah managed to bomb a bus full of Jewish tourists,
plunderers of holy lands, after careful tracking. The holy war is not
confined to a particular arena and we shall fight the Jews and the
Americans until they leave the land of Islam.’” All this dawah and whitewashing makes one thing clear.Terrorism works.
In the wake of every jihad attack come sharia-backed policies,
legislation, and submission. Freedom of speech is not the problem. Free
exchange of ideas is not the problem. Islamic texts and teachings that
exhort to jihad is the problem.
Yet Theresa May says the internet must now be regulated following the
London Bridge terror attack. Of course, good folks will say, well, that
makes sense, because they don’t know better. But let me assure you,
these measures will be used to silence my colleagues and me. The left
has already proved to be too fearful of Islam to take real action
against jihadis. And if my colleagues and I were not blacklisted and
invited to debate these ideas in the national conversation, good people
would see this for exactly what it is.
The West means to roll back technology, silence the mechanism, in
which those religious teachings are shared? That is a primitive as jihad
savagery.
As long as Quranic texts and teachings are seen as legitimate and
holy, Muslims will share them, preach them, and act on them with or
without the internet. What is May going to do, ban WhatsApp and
Telegram, the dark web? She banned my colleagues and me, not jihad
preachers or these Muslim terrorists who slaughtered Brits in the
homeland. She equates those of us who oppose jihad (extremists) to the
jihadis (extremists). If Theresa May were serious, she would lift the
ban on Robert Spencer and me.
Like every bad left-wing idea, this steaming pile of dung is packaged
in a blue Tiffany box. Remember how they sold “hate crime”
“legislation” using the brutal beating of a gay man, Matthew Shepard
(when actually it was just a drug deal gone bad). Hate crime legislation was officially criminalizing thought. Thought crime.
The internet is the last place for informed citizens to get news and
information the sharia-compliant elite media won’t cover. Online is the
last frontier for truth and free speech, and the left is going after
that as well, enforcing the blasphemy laws under the sharia. Facebook

If Theresa May wants to turn things around, the first thing she can
do is lift the ban on Spencer and me — if for no other reason than to
show that she finally understands that the problem is not those who
oppose jihad, but jihad.
Instead, the dawah and whitewashing will continue.

Italy: Fear of jihad terror attack sets off stampede, 1500 injured

countries, terror is being struck into the hearts of their citizens. The
days of expecting peace and protection in a democratic society are
over. The Western world is in turmoil, thanks to jihadists and leaders
who strangely keep getting voted in while sacrificing the safety of
their own jurisdictions and countries for political expediency. The Telegraph was a little more descriptive about what happened:
The Turin prefect said in a statement that the crowd “was
taken by panic and by the psychosis of a terror attack,” fearing that a
loud noise was caused by attackers. The source of the loud noise that
triggered the stampede remained unclear, officials said. Italian media
has speculated it may have been a firecracker.

Turin after a firecracker provoked a stampede on Saturday night, police

Thousands of football fans were watching a live relay of Juventus’
Champions League final against Real Madrid in Cardiff when a bang was
heard and rumours of an explosion spread.
At least seven people, including a seven-year-old child, were seriously hurt, local media say.
It is the 12th Champions League title for Real Madrid.
With 10 minutes of the second half remaining, crowds rushed away from
the centre of Piazza San Carlo, crushing people against barriers.
Bags and shoes were left scattered on the ground as people ran screaming out of the square.
Some of the injuries occurred when a barrier around the entrance to an underground car park gave way.
While most of the wounded had cuts on their legs and arms, seven were still in hospital, local media reported.
Three of them were reportedly in a critical condition, including a
seven-year-old boy who had head and chest injuries after he was trampled
by people rushing to escape.
There was anger locally that the authorities did not do more to put

The number of parents questioning the wisdom of the currently recommended schedule is up and corroboration is easy to find.1 An article in the journal Pediatrics in August 2016 reported that the number of pediatricians encountering parents who either question vaccine safety or refuse one or more vaccines or want to use an alternative vaccination schedule for their children increased from just under 75 percent in 2006 to 87 percent by 2013.2
A study from the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics3 reported that the primary reasons given for vaccine hesitancy or refusal of one or more recommended vaccinations include
concern over pain associated with multiple injections (44 percent); too
many vaccines given at one time (34 percent); the possibility of
vaccines causing autism or other learning disabilities (26 percent, down
from the 2006 survey); concern that there is an association between
vaccines and chronic illnesses (13.5 percent); and lack of adequate
safety studies (13.2 percent). Some parents also are questioning whether so many childhood vaccines
are necessary (up from the 2006 survey), and whether experience with
natural disease is better for children than repeated artificial
manipulation of the immune system by vaccinations.
Overall, fewer parents are focused specifically on fears of autism
compared with a few years ago. Instead, parents are expressing broader
concerns such as the potential effects on immune system function,
worries over how the injection of so many toxins may affect their
child’s well-being long term, lack of adequate vaccine safety studies,
and protection of parental rights to make informed medical decisions for
their children.4
The general consensus that vaccine hesitancy is on the rise has spawned a host articles in the medical literature and in the media about how
to “fix the problem.” Many doctors and and health care professionals
have serious questions themselves and agree that vaccine decisions
should be left to parents, but a far more common position holds that
parents should not have the final say on vaccine decisions and that it
is a societal obligation for doctors to change the mind of anyone who
disagrees with current vaccine recommendations. A quick Google search of
“vaccine hesitancy” turns up mountains of advice on how to persuade
so-called “misinformed” or “confused” parents to change their minds and
get with the program.
From tired old references to the “debunked” notion that vaccines
cause autism to condescending suggestions for educating, incentivizing
or coercing reluctant patients or parents to accept all recommended
vaccines, it can be intimidating to even admit to having questions about
vaccination. It may help to know what to expect and to recognize
pressure strategies that may be used.
Categorizing the Vaccine Hesitant
One of the first things recommended for doctors faced with vaccine
hesitant parents (a term reportedly coined to “depolarize the ‘pro’
versus ‘anti’ vaccination alignment and to express the spectrum of
parental attitudes toward vaccines5)
is to categorize the parents by degree of and reasons for reluctance,
in order to determine the best strategy for changing hesitancy to
compliance.
Scott Halperin, MD, is credited with identifying the “five types of
vaccine-hesitant parents,” classified as follows in a blog post for
“National Immunization Awareness Month”6:
“Uninformed But Want To Become Informed” parents
are defined as those who turn to their trusted physician because of his
or her expertise and want to be reassured and educated about the safety
and effectiveness of vaccines. It is suggested that these parents can be
educated about the science in simple terms without using too much
jargon, and that sharing personal experiences—such as the fact that the
physician’s own children are fully vaccinated—may help.
“Misinformed But Correctable” describes parents
considered to have been fooled by exploitative, anonymous online
reporting that plays into their worst fears, despite the “strength of
the evidence that vaccines are safe and effective.” For these parents,
it is suggested that sound data de-bunking the myths they’ve bought into
should do the trick. It is also said to be important to both
acknowledge the risks and limitations of vaccines and to respect their
parental authority… but to very clearly stress the “strong benefits of
vaccines.”
“Well-Read and Open-Minded” parents are described
as having absorbed so much information on both sides of the issue that
they come to their physician with many questions and concerns. These
parents require help in evaluating the information they have heard. It
is recommended that the doctor have sound data and appropriate websites
to refer them to, in order to refute any “misinformation” they have
received. A reassuring follow-up phone call is also said to be helpful.
“Convinced and Content” parents are categorized as
those who are “convinced vaccines are bad, but come to [their physician]
to prove they are open-minded.” The strategy to deal with such parents
is described as “acknowledging their concerns but strongly refuting them
with scientific data.”
“Committed and Missionary” is the final category
identified for vaccine questioners. These people are said to be
“card-carrying anti-vaccine activists who try and convert you to their
position.” Some of the suggestions for dealing with such parents include
stressing the positive effects of vaccines, and making sure they
understand the responsibilities and risks they are accepting if they
choose not to vaccinate. Physicians are encouraged to “Be patient, as
correcting anti-vaccine myths and changing parent attitudes does not
happen overnight.”
Going Beyond Official Policy Education
If gentle persuasion and carefully scripted education are not enough
to convince parents to fully vaccinate their children, other means of
doing so have been identified by some doctors.
One ploy is referred to as “presumptive delivery,” in which the
physician begins by presenting vaccination as a requirement to prevent
disease rather than as an optional course of action.7
Similarly, a “strategy of inconvenience” is alleged to be pretty
effective. For example, when a step was added requiring Michigan parents
seeking a vaccine exemption to meet in person with a “county health
educator” before being granted the exemption, the number of requests
dropped by 35 percent in one year, and vaccination rates rose. Health
policy specialist Mark Largent said the idea was to make the “process
more burdensome,” adding that, “Moral claims and ideology don’t matter
as much when it’s inconvenient.”8
Appealing to a parent’s sense of societal obligation is another
tactic used frequently. Pediatrician Richard Lander, MD expressed a
common opinion when he said that it is important to help “people view
vaccines as protecting overall community health, similar to the way
other laws are designed to protect community health.”9
Dr. Lander further suggested that “If a parent decides not to give
vaccines, perhaps the insurance companies should charge them higher
premiums since their risk of preventable infections is higher; and maybe
if someone contracts a preventable illness from their child, the
parents should be financially responsible for the health care costs
involved. This would place more responsibility upon those parents and
really alert them to how their decision doesn’t only affect their
child.”9
Guilt and fear tactics are also said to be effective, as when a
physician asks, “Do you really want your child to have to suffer through
a disease you either had as a child or never had to have yourself?” or
plays up the risks of “vaccine preventable diseases” with photographs
and horror stories of children who became very ill or died from one of
those diseases. Some physicians resort to denying
medical care to children if parents refuse to give their children all
federally recommended vaccines according to the CDC’s recommended
schedule.
If all else fails, offering candy is a suggested bribe for convincing
the truly intractable. No joke. Health officials in Ireland suggest
that uptake of the flu vaccine can be increased substantially among
nurses by offering chocolate or drawings for iPads to nurses who agree
to be vaccinated.10

condescending, they offer a telling glimpse into the way people who question the safety of vaccines are viewed by public health officials and the mainstream medical community. References:

Faced with an orchestrated influx of millions of migrants from Africa and the Middle East,
German officials have started commandeering private property to house
the tsunami of new arrivals. Italian property owners have also been
forced, literally kicking and screaming, to house migrants against their will. Plans to put resistors in jail are reportedly being considered.
And in Sweden, where an extreme housing shortage in Stockholm has been
made even more acute by the arrival of hundreds of thousands of migrants
in recent years, authorities are using tax money to outbid Swedes in the intensifying competition for living space. Other fundamental freedoms are also being attacked under the guise of dealing with the self-inflicted “refugee crisis.” And it is going to get worse. Perhaps the most extreme attacks on private property have come from
Germany. In the city of Hamburg (shown), the ruling coalition of extreme
left-wing authorities first began seizing private property to house
migrants with a controversial law passed in October of 2015. With some
400 migrants arriving in the city each day and migrant shelters already
packed to capacity with new arrivals, officials claimed it was needed.
At first, it was just commercial property that was supposed to be
confiscated and turned into migrant housing, and only if the property in
question was vacant. The confiscation was also only supposed to take
place if the owner refused to hand over their properties voluntarily in
exchange for compensation funds extracted from taxpayers.
But as always occurs with government attacks on fundamental rights,
it was a slippery slope — and it did not take long for phase two to
begin. Now, authorities in Hamburg, Germany's second-largest city, are even
targeting and commandeering residential properties as well. According to
local and international news reports this
month, authorities have now seized six apartments in the central Hamm
district, against the owner’s will. After the properties were
confiscated, officials began “renovating” them so they would be suitable
for tenants of the government's choosing. The property owner will be
billed for all the “renovation” expenses incurred by the government, a
spokesman for the governing council behind the seizures was quoted as
saying in the press. The costs are estimated to run into five figures. A
“city-appointed trustee” will oversee the process and the housing units
commandeered by authorities.
But this is just the start, according to various news agencies. The
local government, dominated by the far-left Socialist and Green parties,
even established a “hotline” for residents of Hamburg to report any
properties they may know of which may have been vacant for more than
four months. After those four months are up, the residential properties
will be subject to being commandeered by local government and being put
under the supervision of the government's “trustee,” who can then pack
the apartments with migrants or other tenants at taxpayer expense.
Activists reportedly also set up a website dubbed “Vacancy Reporter” to
help authorities locate vacant real estate for authorities to commandeer
in Hamburg and beyond.
Of course, multiple government policies have fueled the housing
crisis. From failing to approve building permits to imposing draconian
restrictions on rent, local authorities have helped ensure an acute
shortage in supply. Combined with the surge in demand brought about by
the national government's deeply unpopular policy of inviting millions of Third World migrants into the country at
taxpayer expense, the housing and rental-property markets have been
radically distorted. And so, city officials have resorted to further
attacks on private property rights to deal with the problems government
helped create to begin with.
Outside of Hamburg, municipalities have also been evicting tenants
from their apartments to house migrants. The first reported case in
Germany happened in September of 2015 in the town of Nieheim. It
involved Bettina Halbey, a 51-year-old nurse. “I was completely taken
aback,” she told Die Welt after receiving the eviction letter.
“I find it impossible to describe how the city has treated me.” On
social media, she described the move as “a kick in the teeth.” Later
that month, Gabrielle Keller, in the German town of Eschbach, was
ordered by authorities to vacate her government-owned apartment, again
to make room for migrants. “The alternative would have been to set up
beds in the gym,” argued the mayor.
An even more draconian scheme to trample private property rights to
house migrants was also floated in the German capital of Berlin. Under
that proposal, police would have been authorized to invade private
property without a warrant to determine whether the residence would be
suitable for migrant housing, according to media reports. However, even
amid the escalating “refugee” crisis brought on by “former” East German Communist Party propagandist Angela Merkel
and her “open door” policy, that was considered an unconstitutional
bridge too far. More than a few critics suggested Hamburg's attacks on
property rights may also be unconstitutional, but no official
determination has yet been made.
Still, critics expressed outrage. “Hamburg’s situation clearly
illustrates the downside to uncontrolled mass migration,” argued Matt
O'Brien with the Washington, D.C.-based Federation for American
Immigration Reform, which opposes mass migration. “Western civilization
operates on the notion that the first duty of a government is to protect
the life, liberty and property of its own citizens. All other
obligations are subsidiary. Hamburg decided to protect foreigners at the
expense of German citizens and, in so doing, failed to fulfill the
first duty of government. Let’s hope that if the U.S. government ever
begins expropriating private land in response to a migrant crisis, it’s
to build a border wall, not to house massive numbers of immigrants that
the people of the United States never wanted here.”
Local political figures in Hamburg have also spoken out, comparing
the attacks on private property to tyranny and shameful communist
horrors in Germany's past. “The proposed confiscation of private land
and buildings is a massive attack on the property rights of the citizens
of Hamburg,” André Trepoll with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU)
party was quoted as saying in media reports, saying the “law of
intimidation” was a “political dam-break with far-reaching
implications.” “It amounts to an expropriation by the state.... The ends
do not justify any and all means.” The leader of the Free Democrats
Party in Hamburg, meanwhile, called it an “unacceptable crossing of red
lines” and noted that, ironically, such “coercive measures” would “only
fuel resentment against refugees.”
Germany is hardly the only formerly sovereign European nation in
which citizens and their fundamental rights — including their
private-property rights — are being trampled by authorities to
accommodate the avalanche of Third World migrants. In Italy, for
example, an elderly hotel operator was terrorized by armed agents of the
state for refusing to have his property packed full of migrants. A horrifying video of the episode went viral across the Internet.
When Luigi Fogli, 80 at the time, refused to house “refugees” for 7
euros in tax money for each — all of them apparently African men without
families present, video shows — authorities simply forced him to do it,
literally.
Late last year, the Italian Interior Ministry even floated a scheme,
dubbed the “Viminale Plan," that would have put resistors behind bars
for refusing to allow their properties to be commandeered for housing
migrants. Under the plan, widely reported in Italian media,
thousands of armed enforcement agents from the police and the military
would be deployed to oversee enforcement. The Justice Ministry was
reportedly prepared to provide trials and detention to those who
resisted the plan. And almost incredibly, the commandeering of private
property was set to take place without compensation, as the government
does not have the funds to pay.
As The New American has documented extensively in a series
of articles, private property rights are not the only fundamental human
rights being targeted in Europe under the guise of dealing with the
so-called refugee crisis. Indeed, across Europe and the rest of the
Western world, the
globalist-engineered migrant crisis is leading to attacks on a wide
array of fundamental liberties including self-government, privacy, free
speech, freedom of the press, and more. In Germany, authorities have been raiding apartments and arresting those who criticize foreigners, Islam, or the mass-migration agenda too vociferously.
The Islamist terror attacks that have resulted from the crisis and
will continue to worsen, meanwhile, are being cited by regional
authorities at the European Union and national powers as a pretext to
justify the ongoing expansion of the police state at the national,
regional, and international level. More than a few political leaders
have suggested the establishment's
agenda behind the migrant tsunami is the destruction of national
cohesion, Christianity, and the nation-state on the road to regional and
global governance. And senior establishment bigwigs such as former Goldman Sachs boss and UN migration czar Peter Sutherland have all but confirmed it. Indeed, the United Nations is funding TV ads urging German women to wear Muslim head scarves.
The attacks on private property rights must be resisted by all
clear-thinking people. America's Founding Fathers warned about just how
serious infringements on private property were. John Adams, America's
first vice president and second president, was perhaps the most firm and
eloquent. “The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property
is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of
law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence,”
Adams warned.
“If ‘Thou shalt not covet,’ and ‘Thou shalt not steal,’ were not
commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every
society, before it can be civilized or made free.”
Across the Western world, including in the United States, that idea
was admitted long ago. And under the guise of housing migrants, the idea
is rapidly being expanded all over the West.
Amid the globalist-orchestrated refugee crisis, in which globalist
Western governments destroyed Middle Eastern and African nations before
inviting the victims to Europe and the United States at taxpayer
expense, the very foundations of Western civilization and
Christendom are being eroded. And that was probably the agenda all
along. Instead of bombing foreign countries to rubble and then welcoming
the Third World into the West, real solutions to the problems must
begin by holding accountable the establishment figures behind the
tragedies.
Trampling the fundamental rights of Germans, Americans, and Italians
is probably the worst possible way of dealing with the crisis. Instead
of attacking innocent citizens, everyone in Brussels and Washington, D.C., who engineered the illegal wars on Libya and other nations based
on illegitimate United Nations resolutions should face legal
accountability — up to and including criminal prosecution if crimes were
committed, as it seems they were. Property owners in the West and
around the world should be left in peace.
Italy’s Minister of the Interior Angelino Alfano is planning to
throw citizens in prison if they don’t hand over their homes to
migrants, according to a report from Italian paper Ilgiornale.
