How dare the Israelis move to stop the funding of those who wish to murder them!
“Hamas Infuriated After Israel Seizes Terrorist Salaries,” by David Sidman, Breaking Israel News, January 2, 2020:
Hazim Kasim, a spokesman for Hamas, railed against Israel’s Defense Minister Naftali Bennett’s recent decision to seize funds from 32 families of Israeli-Arab terrorists, Arutz 7 reported.
According to the report, Kasim claimed that the decision was a “continuation of the Zionist battle against the prisoners,” and said that Bennet’s [sic] decision amounted to “robbery”. He also called on the Palestinian Authority not to surrender to this “Zionist move”.
Bennett signed orders to seize the funds on Wednesday which went into effect immediately.
“These families received money from the Palestinian Authority for years as payment the terrorist attacks perpetrated by those terrorists. The murder of Jews will no longer be lucrative,” the Defense Minister added.
Last week, Bennett authorized the seizure of hundreds of thousands of shekels in payment to jailed terrorists and their families, in an unprecedented administrative order.
The decision was made just weeks after Bennett vowed to increase economic sanctions against terrorists. The recent move will block salaries that were being paid by the PA to Arab terrorists with Israeli citizenship….

NAIROBI, Kenya (Military Times) — A U.S. service member and two Department of Defense contractors died Sunday following an attack from al-Shabab militants in Manda Bay, Kenya, according to U.S. Africa Command. Two other Defense Department members were also injured in the attack, but remain in stable condition.
Kenyan authorities previously said that Somalia’s al-Shabab extremist group attacked a military base used by U.S. and Kenyan troops in coastal Kenya early Sunday. Kenya’s military said the pre-dawn assault was repulsed and at least four attackers were killed.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of our teammates who lost their lives today,” AFRICOM Commander U.S. Army General Stephen Townsend said in a news release. “As we honor their sacrifice, let’s also harden our resolve.”
“Alongside our African and international partners, we will pursue those responsible for this attack and al-Shabaab who seeks to harm Americans and U.S. interests,” Townsend said. “We remain committed to preventing al-Shabaab from maintaining a safe haven to plan deadly attacks against the U.S. homeland, East African and international partners.”

UNITED METHODISTS PROPOSE SPLIT: UMC TO START "LGBTQ"-APPROVING RELIGION WHILE "TRADITIONALISTS" FORM OWN DENOMINATION

UNITED METHODISTS PROPOSE SPLIT:
UMC TO START "LGBTQ"-APPROVING RELIGION WHILE "TRADITIONALISTS" FORM
OWN DENOMINATION
BY HEATHER CLARK

LEAWOOD, Kan. — Citing that the United Methodist Church (UMC) is at an “impasse” on the issue of homosexuality, a proposal has been put forward to mutually agree for “traditionalist” United Methodists to leave and form their own denomination, so that those remaining can remove the biblical prohibition on homosexuality as encompassed in the Book of Discipline and thus allow for same-sex “marriages” in churches and the ordination of homosexual clergy.
Adam Hamilton, who leads United Methodist Church of the Resurrection of Leawood, Kansas, announced the proposal on Friday. It is one of two up for consideration — the other of which would conversely result in the departure of the homosexual-affirming entities to form their own denomination.
Hamilton’s group is believed to be the largest in the UMC, with 22,000 members and four locations, and is openly homosexual-affirming on its website, offering a “LGBT Ministry” and a “LGBT and Allies Community Group.”
Hamilton explained that UMC bishops had convened a group to discuss the way forward due to the divide over the issue of homosexuality, and this was the proposed solution. He was among those who backed the idea of separation.
“[W]e would allow traditionalists to be able to leave with their property, and to provide funds to help them start a new denomination,” he said.
With the “traditionalists” gone, Hamilton stated, it would then pave the way to allow those remaining to vote to change the United Methodist Book of Discipline to eliminate any verbiage characterizing homosexuality as being contrary to Christianity.
It would consequently also eliminate the prohibition against same-sex “marriage” in United Methodist churches and the officiating of such services anywhere by clergy, as well as the proscription on clergy engaging in the sin of homosexuality.
The move “would basically remove all of the negative language around human sexuality,” Hamilton said. “Currently, our Book of Discipline says that the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching. We would be removing that.”
“The United Methodist Church and its members are at an impasse, the Church’s witness and mission is being impeded, and the Church itself as well as its members have been injured,” the proposal reads, suggesting that the split must occur because the “Church” and its work is being harmed otherwise.
“[T]he undersigned propose restructuring The United Methodist Church by separation as the best means to resolve our differences, allowing each part of the Church to remain true to its theological understanding, while recognizing the dignity, equality, integrity, and respect of every person.”
The move comes after the majority of delegates worldwide voted in favor of the “Traditional Plan” during a special session of the General Conference last February, striking down the Simple Plan and the One Church Plan. Delegates on both sides of the issue ardently provided their views, with some breaking out in song after the final result and others protesting.
“The Traditional Plan is not only traditional but biblical; it ensures God’s word remains foundational to the life and growth of the UMC. I submit we love our LGBTQ friends [by upholding the Bible],” Jerry Kulah of the Africa Initiative Coalition declared.
According to Fox News, 43 percent of delegates were from overseas, with the majority being from Africa. Africans were strongly in support of the Traditional Plan.
“You will be putting a virus into the American church that will make it very sick, and it will be sick quickly,” Thomas Berlin of Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon, Virginia claimed in speaking against the Traditional Plan. “Many of us have members who will leave and have already notified us to tell us so.”
During his comments to the media on Friday, Hamilton pointed to a previous split among Methodists over the issue of slavery, stating that it used to be the Methodist Episcopal Church, but those in the south defended slavery while those in the north believed that it was not “God’s will or God’s plan.”
A reporter who said she was playing “devil’s advocate” asked what he would say to those who note that Scripture characterizes homosexuality as being an offense to God. Hamilton claimed that the Bible makes slavery seem permissible and that some text should be read in its cultural context.
“In the Torah, you are told that you can beat your slaves with rods [and] as long as they don’t die within 24 hours, there’s no penalty because the slaves are property,” he asserted. “And nobody today thinks that’s okay, but at the time, they did.”
“For many of us, we believe — when it comes to human sexuality — that the handful of verses that talk about stoning a gay man don’t reflect God’s will and purposes for human beings,” Hamilton continued. “And instead, God wills for us to be faithful to one another and to love one another. When the biblical authors were speaking about homosexuality, they were talking about what was going on in their time and their understanding of human sexuality.”
Hamilton estimates that, should the proposal pass, as many as 25 percent of churches currently within the UMC will leave, and mostly in the south. The UMC would pay millions to the traditionalists as a part of the severance agreement.
A vote is expected during the General Conference in May.
As previously reported, while the common argument among those who identify as homosexual is that they were “born that way,” the Bible teaches that all men are in the exact same predicament:
All are born with the Adamic sin nature and are therefore “by nature the children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3), having various inherent inclinations that are contrary to the law and will of God and being utterly incapable of changing by themselves (Job 14:4).
It is why Jesus came: to “save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21) and that they might be “saved from wrath through Him” (Romans 5:9) — taking out of the way for those who are saved both the penalty for, and the power of, sin.
Jesus outlined in John 3:5-7 that men must be regenerated by the second birth, and be transformed from being in Adam to being in Christ, or they cannot see the kingdom of Heaven. This work of the Holy Spirit is known in Christianity as the doctrine of regeneration.
Scripture also states that those who do not adhere to godliness and sound teaching are those who cause divisions in the Church, not the other way around.
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them,” Romans 16:17 states. “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. [But] your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf, but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.”

After Diane Gaskins’ excellent report exposing Rosaria Butterfield’s documented position on using preferred gender pronouns, she began to quietly and secretly delete sources referencing her position on the subject. We now have evidence of Butterfield editing audio of her more salacious and scandalous comments on the subject, but she hasn’t noted any changes. They have simply been shoved down the memory hole.
After his lies were made known to the public, Ergun Caner quietly began editing or deleting audio and video from the Internet that contained his words. It was a part of a public image rebranding, largely unsuccessful, that ended up popularizing the term, “Canerize” (a term used by James White at AoMin). To Canerize something means to try to make it disappear without any trace or apology.
Butterfield has been quiet since Gaskins’ article was published, content to sit back and let James White stubbornly claim that she was not for preferred gender pronouns and attack Pulpit & Pen and Mrs. Gaskins for what he calls “slander.” We then released audio of Butterfield teaching that which James White categorically denied she ever taught.
Afterward, White released a statement to him from Butterfield claiming that she only changed her view after Obergefell v. Hodges (even though she’s on record after that Supreme Court decision). However, Butterfield has made no public statement repudiating her own views on preferred pronouns and, until days ago, kept the audio on her website.
However, that audio has now been edited. Listen below.
It’s easier just to openly repent and repudiate your position than try to hide your double-mindedness.

WHY SOME PEOPLE NEED A GOOD KILLING…A BIBLICAL DEFENSE FOR SELF DEFENSE

WHY SOME PEOPLE NEED A GOOD KILLING…
A BIBLICAL DEFENSE FOR SELF DEFENSE
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research
purposes:
Just because we’re good people doesn’t mean we won’t kill you – Rick Grimes
Right. So, maybe a Biblical defense for self-defense shouldn’t begin with quotation from the protagonist in a televised Zombie apocalypse set in the dystopian near-future. But, when I heard Rick say that, it was real. There’s no room for pretense when zombies are kicking down the doors to your rickety old barn.
We may not have zombies kicking down our barn doors, but like Rick Grimes, we live in a world where pretense will get you killed. Normalcy bias will get your killed. Pacifism will get you killed. Your pretty little philosophies and pontifications will get you killed. We live in a world of bad guys, albeit they’re not the walking dead. But, they are dangerous. And frankly, it’s time Christian leaders recognize that danger and stop being such metrosexual nancies without a modicum of moral clarity when dogmatizing our followers on the WWJD of martyrdom. In short, Christians leaders need to look less like Reverend Lovejoy and more like the Machine Gun Preacher. What you may not realize while locked away in your pastor’s study is that our world looks more like Rick Grimes’ than Homer Simpson’s. Sometimes, people need a good killing.
What I need you to do, if you’re to stomach the rest of this article, is take any notion you have of a Big Lebowski-looking Christ who rides the clouds on Falcor the Luck Dragon, handing out puppies and skittles out of Santa’s bottomless gift bag and put that image into the dustbin of your mind. Stop tasting the rainbow, put down the Rachel Held Evans book, and gird up your loins like a man. Instead, focus on the actual Christ, the one whose feet were caked with mud and muck and suggested his disciples go out and buy a sword on the night of his crucifixion, knowing they would soon be outlaws and in need of protection (Luke 22:36). Yes, focus on Christ, who is the second person of the Trinity and who transcends in ancient divinity the temporality of his earthly walk, and let us develop a Bible-long systematic theology of martyrology and self-defense.
As much as Jesus Seminar liberals would like to limit the teachings of Christ to his three-year ministry chronicled in the Gospel accounts, the reality for orthodox Christians is that every word of the Bible should be colored in Red. Being Trinitarians, we believe in a Triune God consisting of three Persons making up the Godhead (Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:9, KJV). The Persons of the Trinity, consisting of and being in themselves God, are at perfect unity and harmony together (Isaiah 61:1-2). Each one performs and acts according to the same will (John 6:38). In short, the words of God the Father, who inspired the Sacred Texts through God the Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16), is indeed the will and word of God the Son (John 1:1,14).
What this means is that to understand the teachings of God the Son, without juxtaposing his teaching with the teachings of God the Father, requires a systematic teaching on the subject of martyrology and self-defense throughout the entire canon of Scripture.
While it is true that Jesus told Peter to put away His sword because he must be crucified for the sins of the world (Matthew 26:52), he told them that very night to buy a sword in advance of their coming persecution (Luke 22:36). While Jesus’ exhortation that we turn the cheek from insult (Matthew 5:39) has been taken by pacifists (defined by JD’d dictionary as “those who let others die for their lives and liberties”) to be the locus classicus text for passive non-resistance, a robust theology of persecution reveals that that the thrice-holy God has indeed called his people to self-defense, protection of the innocent through violent means, and promotion of the general welfare through war. There is no logical reason to believe that God’s call to arms throughout Scripture has been abrogated in this current dispensation, for God does not change (Malachi 3:6) and his Word is immutable (Hebrews 6:17). Furthermore, the call to martyrdom that we see repeated throughout the New Testament does not imply that our death for the sake of the cross be a peaceful surrendering of ourselves over to injustice or voluntary death.
A thorough analysis of God’s divine hand guiding the body-politic of ancient Israel reveals an understood right of self-defense. We are to deliver the innocent from those that seek them harm (Proverbs 82:4). While murder is clearly prohibited (Leviticus 24:16-17), the taking of a murderer’s life is not prohibited and neither is it murder (Genesis 9:6). The qualifying distinctions between killing and murder are found in places like Exodus 21, Numbers 35, and Deuteronomy 19. In the commonwealth laws of Israel, delivered by God, one had the right to take the life of one breaking into their home in the night (Exodus 22:2). The general equity of this Old Testament law (to use words from the London Baptist and Westminister Confession) – that is, what is moral, universal and perpetual in nature – is that it is morally acceptable to take the life of one who will harm the innocent.
Even though our enemies are not flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), the same is true for the Israelites as they were rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls, when they were instructed to arm themselves for potential conflict (Nehemiah 4:17). The realization of spiritual enemies did not negate the reality that there might be some people in need of a good killing, and God’s people were to be prepared to fight back. When Haman’s plans went awry because of Esther’s obedience, God’s people were instructed to kill those who sought their lives (Esther 9:2-5). When Abraham’s family was in jeopardy, he raised an army and killed their captors (Genesis 14:14-18) and was later blessed by God for that action.
To die a victim in the name of martyrdom, when the perpetrator will likely go on to kill more innocent people, is not martyrdom – it is cowardice. A man that does not care for his own family, in particular, is worse than an infidel (1 Timothy 5:8) – and calling the police while your family is being assaulted falls short of the biblical responsibilities of manhood.
David’s hands were taught to operate a lethal weapon by God (Psalm 18:24). The limp-wristed effiminazi Intelligentsia calling for the disarmament of Christians today are a far cry from the man who was after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22). And while we do not trust in our weapons, but in God (Psalm 44:7), this presupposes the ownership of weapons. On any given day, I may carry a number of different lethal weapons, but my trust is in God that they will fire properly, hit their target, or in God’s kind providence, I’ll find their use unnecessary.
Furthermore, we must understand that Christ’s martyrdom is wholly unlike our own. Christ’s death was a sacrifice, and offering it up bought the souls of men. Our life cannot be given in the same manner of Christ (for we neither lay it down nor pick it up of our own accord), and neither does it propitiate for any sins. Although we are, indeed, sheep sent out to wolves, the Good Shepherd never intended and neither does he ask us to provide a pacifistic buffet of mutton for any wolf that would seek to devour us.
That a martyr may resist, does not make him less of a martyr. That a man doesn’t resist when his family is in peril, does make him less of a man.
In light of the shooting at UCC, I call on all Christian leaders to stop the liberal pontificating on how guns caused this problem and call them to consider on why a lack of guns (along with a murderous, depraved heart as the root issue) caused this problem. Christ has called us to love our neighbor (Mark 12:31), and if you are unprepared to defend your neighbor due to dainty sensibilities or the irrational fear of using a firearm, I’d suggest you do not love your neighbors as much as you ought.

GOVERNMENT: EVER TAKING OUR LIBERTIES AND OUR MONEY

GOVERNMENT:
EVER TAKING OUR LIBERTIES AND OUR MONEY
PRESENTED BY SARAH CORRIHER
The U.S. government did what all governments do best in 2019, which was namely stripping liberties from the people while wasting their money. Much of that money was spent to extend ridiculous welfare programs throughout the world, for foreign perks that are not offered to citizens themselves. Unethically, improperly, and potentially unconstitutionally, they hid new laws inside a spending bill, so that the new laws would not undergo any legislative scrutiny. Being far too busy with 'impeachment' and 'resistance', nobody had time to read the bill before it was signed into law(s).
