“You’re supposed to be BC when you’re a junior and senior in high school, and all of a sudden you got over it,” Graham asked with incredulity. “It’s been my understanding that if you ug women and them for two years in high school, you probably don’t stop.”
He went on to attest for Kavanaugh’s integrity, calling him the “nicest person.”

As the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process continued today, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made it clear he was still angry about the whole thing. He started by saying, “I know I’m a single white male from South Carolina and I’m told I should shut up, but I will not shut up, if that’s okay.” Graham alluded to his past criticisms of President Donald Trump before trying to work with him in the past year, telling Trump he did a “good job” on the Supreme Court. Graham said the reason Kavanaugh is different from Neil Gorsuch because “Gorsuch is an even swap for Scalia, but this is high stakes stuff. Right? This is the seat where the guy in the middle is at risk.”
He said elections have consequences but defended the decision to hold up Merrick Garland. Graham said every victim of needs to be heard before talking about Kavanaugh’s testimony yesterday:
“I’ve never heard a more compelling defense of one’s honor and integrity than I did from Brett Kavanaugh. He looked me in the eye, everybody in the eye, and he was mad and he should have been mad. He could tell you where he was at and what he was doing during high school in a way that just blew me away. Brett Kavanaugh and women. If you’re a when you’re a sophomore and junior in high school, you don’t let it go. Every woman who actually knows Brett Kavanaugh has come forward to say he is not that kind of guy. He has been at the highest level of public service under tremendous scrutiny, six FBI investigations and we missed the sophomore junior . We didn’t miss it. It’s a bunch of garbage.”
As for Christine Blasey Ford‘s allegations, Graham said, “I feel sorry for her and I do believe something happened to her and I don’t know when and where, but I don’t believe it was Brett Kavanaugh.”
“I feel really bad that she wanted to remain anonymous and could not,” he continued. “The one thing I know for sure is that Dianne Feinstein would not do this and did not do this. But I know for sure somebody did. It wasn’t chatter from a friend. Three groups had this letter that was requested to be anonymous. Dianne Feinstein and her staff, the congresswoman from California and her staff, and the lawyers. Somebody betrayed her trust and if you can’t figure out why, you shouldn’t be driving. To delay this hearing, to send a motion to the destruction of this man to keep this seat open past the election.”
South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham says he will speak despite people thinking a “single, white male” such as himself should “shut up.”
Graham was extremely emotional at one point during the hearing yesterday, accusing his Democratic colleagues of making this a purely political issue. At a much more measured register, he is now explaining why Democrats holding up Kavanaugh’s nomination is different from the Republicans holding up Merrick Garland’s nomination under Barack Obama. He says it is about the available seats being different. The seat available now belonged to Anthony Kennedy, who was considered the court’s crucial swing vote. Garland, meanwhile, would have replaced the seat of conservative Antonin Scalia. More from Graham: “I feel sorry for her [Dr Ford]. I do believe something happened to her. But I do not believe it was Brett Kavanaugh.” He then repeats the alarming, and untrue, claim he made yesterday that it is not in the character of someone who people describe as nice to commit. Kind behavior does not preclude someone from committing. Graham says he does not believe Diane Feinstein leaked Dr Ford’s allegations. “This has never been about the truth,” Graham says. “This has been about delay and destruction.”

Democratic Senators Walked Out after Refusing to Vote on Kavanaugh's nomination when Senate Judiciary Committe holds a meeting to vote for President Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh (9/28/18) on September 28, 2018.
The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on whether to advance the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme (9-28-18).
Democratic Senators Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) walked out of the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing room Friday after the committee set a 1:30 p.m. vote on sending Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination to the full Senate.
Republican Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, called for a vote that would set up a later vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination by the committee. Democrats tried to make points of order as the roll was called over their protests. Each of the 11 Republicans approved setting the vote.
When the roll for Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, and Harris was called, both were silent. They were shaking their heads, but didn’t make a sound.

A woman who allegedly partied with Judge Brett Kavanaugh as a teenager has come forward with serious allegations about him and his former classmate Mark Judge. According to the sworn declaration from Julie Swetnick, both Kavanaugh and Judge abetted the drugging and gang-raping of girls at parties in the early 1980s. Swetnick also implies that Kavanaugh and Judge participated in the assaults themselves.
As Georgetown Prep students, both Judge and Kavanaugh were known to "'spike' the 'punch' at house parties" with "drugs and/or grain alcohol so as to cause girls to lose their inhibitions and their ability to say 'No,'" Swetnick says in the declaration, which was released on Twitter this morning by lawyer and recent TV news fixture Michael Avenatti.
Swetnick says she "witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh, and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could be 'gang raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of numerous boys" and that she has "a firm recollection of boys being lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their 'turn' with a girl inside the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh."
Around 1982, Swetnick states, she herself was a victim "of one of these 'gang' or 'train' rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present." (It is unclear whether she is saying that Kavanaugh or Judge personally assaulted her.) She adds that she believes she was drugged via Quaaludes dropped into her drink.
Kavanaugh called Swetnick's claims "ridiculous" and "from the TwilightZone," adding that he doesn't know who Swetnick is and "this never happened."

Swetnick says she told others about the incident at the time and knows of other witnesses who can confirm her statements.
"We demand an immediate FBI investigation into the allegations," Avenatti tweeted this morning. "Under no circumstances should Brett Kavanaugh be confirmed absent a full and complete investigation."
Swetnick—a graduate of Gaithersburg High School in Maryland and a former employee of the Department of Defense, the U.S. Mint, the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. State Department, with several active security clearances—says she first met Kavanaugh and Judge in 1980 or 1981 at a house party. She describes the pair as "joined at the hip" and says she "consistently saw them together in many social settings." She estimates that she attended "well over ten house parties" from 1981 to 1983 where both were present.
"On numerous occasions at the parties, I witnessed Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh drink excessively and engage in highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls and not taking 'no' or an answer" as well as "fondling and grabbing girls without their consent," Swetnick says in the declaration. She continues:
I observed Brett Kavanaugh drink excessively at many of these parties and engage in abusive and physical aggressive behavior toward girls, including pressing girls against him without their consent, "grinding" against girls, and attempting to remove or shift girls' clothing to expose private body parts. I likewise observed him be verbally abusive toward girls by making crude sexual comments to them that were designed to demean, humiliate, and embarrass them.
After calling Kavanaugh a "mean drunk," Swetnick says that she not only witnessed this behavior herself but heard about it from other women and that his claims in a recent Fox News interview about being virginal and mostly sober during his high school years are "absolutely false and a lie."
Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford—the first woman to accuse Kavanaugh of sexually predatory behavior in high school—are both scheduled to be questioned before members of the Senate Judiciary Committee tomorrow.
On Wednesday afternoon, President Trump commented on the latest allegations against Kavanaugh, tweeting:

On the eve of a historic Supreme Court confirmation hearing, two more women have materialized out of thin air to accuse President Trump’s high court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual improprieties – bringing the total number of accusers to four.
Even more eleventh-hour character-assassination attempts may be coming given the enraged Left’s determination to prevent the judge’s ascent to the Supreme Court at all costs. The new allegations surfaced yesterday as the Senate Judiciary Committee battens down the hatches for a hearing today to receive oral evidence from the first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, 51, who claims Kavanaugh, 53, tried to rape her decades ago when he was a high school student.
The third accuser is Julie Swetnick, a 55-year-old certified systems engineer, who on Wednesday claimed that in the early 1980sKavanaugh and others spiked the drinks of young women at high school parties with intoxicants to clear the way for them to be gang-raped.

Twitter, the company that perma-banned Alex Jones for being rude to a CNN reporter, has refused to suspend an account that openly engaged in doxxing, threats and targeted harassment.
The ‘Smash Racism DC’ group, which was founded by an Antifa-supporting professor who has encouraged his Twitter followers to “assassinate Mike Pence” as well as to kill cops and local politicians, was responsible for the harassment of Senator Ted Cruz and his wife in a DC restaurant on Monday night.
Following the confrontation, which was at least equal in its malice to Alex Jones’ confrontation of CNN’s Oliver Darcy, the Smash Racism DC account openly doxxed political commentator Gavin McInnes, posting his phone number which resulted in McInnes receiving death threats.
In a separate tweet, the group declared, “You are not safe. We will find you. We will expose you. We will take from you the peace you have taken from so many others,” which is clearly a violation of Twitter’s rules on targeted harassment, which state, “You may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so.”
The Smash Racism DC’s banner image features an Antifa flag, a group that has been designateda domestic terror organization by the DHS and the FBI.
Despite multiple clear violations of Twitter’s rules, the Smash Racism DC account is still online, as is the account of the group’s founder, Mike Isaacson, despite Isaacson tweeting multiple violent threats against politicians and police officers.
The tweets above were deleted, but the account itself remains active.
Compare this to Alex Jones, who was permanently banned by Twitter for being rude to a CNN reporter during an exchange outside a Congressional hearing in DC.
Compare Twitter’s response to that metered out to actor James Woods, who remains locked out of his account because he posted a satirical meme.
Apparently, satirical memes and coarse language are bannable offenses, but open threats of violence, targeted harassment and doxxing won’t get you suspended or banned by Twitter (so long as you have the right politics).
This once again completely debunks the notion, trotted out yet again by the mainstream media after Trump’s recent executive order targeting Big Tech was announced, that there is no social media bias against conservatives.
Yes, there clearly is. It happens on a daily basis and this is yet another example.

The progressive Open Society Foundations, run by Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, announced Monday it was taking the Hungarian government to court over its laws that seek to stop illegal mass migration on grounds that they deny civil society groups their ‘human rights’.
The OSF called on the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, to “defend Hungarian democracy” in a statement published Monday.
The pro-open borders civil society group alleges that “Hungary’s ‘Stop Soros’ legislation violates its rights to freedom of expression, association, and assembly that are guaranteed by Articles 10 and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights” and demands the laws are repealed.
The Stop Soros legislation, which came into effect on July 1st, makes it illegal to assist illegal migration, with penalties including a potential prison sentence. The laws also introduced a 25 percent tax on non-governmental organisations that support illegal migration, directly affecting the work of the OSF and its refugee rights group the Hungarian Helsinki Committee.
In response, a government spokesman told Reuters: “The government stands by the Stop Soros package of laws…. as the legislation serves the will of the Hungarian people, and the security of Hungary and Europe.”
“The Soros organisation attacks the Stop Soros package with all possible means as the legislation stands in the way of illegal immigration. The aim of George Soros and organisations supported by him is to flood Europe with migrants,” he added.
The lawsuit is the latest in a series of attacks against the conservative Fidesz-led government, which since the height of the European migrant crisis has worked to reduce illegal mass migration, protect the continent’s external borders, and assert its rights to put the needs of Hungarians first, above the demands of the European Union to accept third world migrants….
