Spate of attacks on churches by Muslim migrants in recent months

A church in Berlin was damaged after unknown attackers pelted stones at the building while shouting “Allahu Akbar!”

Six individuals threw stones at the windows of the St. Simeon Church in Kreuzberg on Wednesday night. The stones “damaged the building” according to one report and the culprits fled the scene.

The attackers shouted “Allahu Akbar,” which means ‘God is great’ in Arabic throughout the incident.

An added irony is that the church in question declared itself to be a ‘refugee-friendly’ church in 2015, offering advice to migrants in Arabic.

“We want to give them a voice and a space in which they can actively contribute their ideas and interests, develop and fulfil their own plans,” said a statement released by the church at the time.

A recent poll of Germans found that 16.6% would not want a Christian church in their neighborhood, while 55.7% said they wouldn’t want a mosque in their neighborhood.

The incident in Berlin is one of several attacks on churches to have taken place in recent months in Europe.

Last month, a church in the French city of Orleans was vandalized, with the culprits smashing up furniture, setting fires and writing “Allahu Akbar” on the walls.

In May, a 37-year-old Muslim man threatened to blow up a church in Chalon-sur-Saône, France, unless passages from the Koran were read aloud.

Back in April, 20 Muslim migrants attacked a Christian congregation outside a church in Leukosia, Greece, screaming, cursing, and beating the attendees.

In July 2016, Islamic terrorists stormed a church in Normandy during mass and proceeded to slit the throat of elderly priest Jacques Hamel before being shot dead by police.

In March of this year, migrants and left-wing protesters stormed the Basilica of Saint-Denis in Paris. Although left-wing media outlets subsequently claimed it was a “hoax” that the church was targeted, video footage shows chaos as police attempt to repel the demonstrators.

Fulani Muslim militants launched raids on eight villages in central Nigeria this week, burning alive a Christian pastor along with his wife and three of their children.

In order to spread “Islamic teachings and practice,” the Fulani jihadi gangs routinely rampage through towns and villages, seeking out Christians in order to rid whole areas of “all aspects of Christian faith.”

Nathan Johnson, regional manager for Africa of International Christian Concern, stated:

The fact that the government allows the continued destruction and killing of its villages and citizens shows a lack of care or ability…..If this continues, there will have to be international intervention or else Nigeria may devolve into a major civil war.

Unfortunately, international intervention will likely not come, as Christians have nearly been wiped out in the Middle East, and there was no international intervention on their behalf in that region. While ignoring real human rights abusers, the UN accuses Israel of “war crimes” for defending itself; and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation continues its aggressive propagandist “Islamophobia” campaign all over the West.

Fulani Muslim militants launched raids on eight villages in central Nigeria this week, burning alive a Christian pastor along with his wife and three of their children.

In the village of Abonong in Plateau State, the Islamic raiders, armed with machetes and AK47 rifles, looted and destroyed 95 houses, along with farmland and three churches. They killed Pastor Adamu Gyang Wurim and his family by setting fire to their house while they were inside and shot the pastor’s wife in the bathroom. The assailants killed two other villagers as well, wounding several others.

The attack, which began Tuesday evening around 8:00 p.m., lasted over four hours before security personnel finally arrived on the scene. By then the attackers had razed much of the villages of Abonong and Ziyat, and stolen valuables including electronics, mattresses, food, and livestock.

The incident occurred just 24 hours after a two-day peace summit in Jos organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria with the theme, “Sustainable peace and security in Northern Nigeria as a panacea for development.”

A local lawyer, Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, spoke with one of the three surviving children of the pastor, who was away at the University of Jos at the time of the attack and learned of it on Facebook.

“When I called a friend to find out about the situation, the report I received was very devastating,” the young man said. “I couldn’t believe that all my family members have been engulfed in the pogrom. On reaching home, I saw my daddy and younger ones burnt beyond recognition.”

“The three of us left don’t know what to do, especially now that we are still students who have nothing to hold on [to],” he said…..

A fringe Islamic prince turned United Nations “High Commissioner for Human Rights” infamous for comparing President Donald Trump to Hitler and ISIS, and for protecting child-raping UN troops from exposure, has a new target: free speech on the Internet. Under the guise of stopping “hate speech,” a concept first pushed by the murderous Soviet regime that has evolved to encompass any speech the establishment hates, outgoing UN “human rights” boss Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein called on the Big Tech companies to “proactively” step up their escalating censorship campaign. Facebook and Google seemed more than happy to comply.  

The disgraced UN bureaucrat, a frequent advocate of gun control in America, also demanded that the Internet and the companies that inhabit it be governed by UN “human rights law,” which is entirely incompatible with traditional U.S. notions of inalienable God-given rights and free speech. But Hussein's extremist successor, a Castro-loving socialist who defected to a murderous communist dictatorship, appears to hold the same dim view of liberty and genuine human rights as he does. Still, the dynamic UN duo are now so toxic that the U.S. government is severing ties and threatening to cut all funding from the UN's entire disgraced “human rights” apparatus.

Perhaps learning from past failures, Hussein was strategic about his calls for Internet censorship. Rather than just outright demanding that speech he disagrees with be purged from the Web — for instance, speech criticizing mass Islamic migration into the West, Islam itself, or even its prophet, Mohamed — he interspersed his comments between references to reported Buddhist attacks against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar (also known as Burma). In fact, he even threatened Internet companies such as Facebook that they could be prosecuted by self-styled global “authorities” as “accessories” to crimes, merely for not taking down speech that the UN thinks should be banned.

“We've seen from the jurisprudence of the past that if you've enabled, you've abetted, you've been an accessory,” Hussein said before quickly adding that he was not accusing Facebook of being an accessory but that “they have to be sure that they know where they are and what side of the law they are on.” Yet again, the unhinged bureaucrat tried to suggest that Americans could be “prosecuted” by the UN and its disgraced kangaroo court, despite the fact that the U.S. government has never signed any treaty or agreement legitimizing the farce. He recently threatened that Trump could be prosecuted for “incitement” against the media for exposing the lies of the establishment's propaganda machine.

After threatening that the social-media companies could be prosecuted if they do not obey him, Hussein went on to call for proactive censorship by the Big Tech giants. “They should be thinking proactively about what steps they will take to mitigate that,” said the UN bureaucrat, infamous for, among other scandals during his brief tenure, terrorizing whistleblowers who exposed the systematic rape of children by UN “peace” troops, and the leaking of the identity of Chinese human-rights defenders to the mass-murdering communist regime in Beijing so the activists could be kidnapped before testifying.    

Keep in mind that for the UN and the globalist establishment behind it, terms such as “hate speech” and “extremism” have come to mean speech that exposes their agenda. Indeed, Hussein's comments came just weeks after all of the Big Tech companies colluded to disappear Alex Jones and Infowars from their platforms under the guise of fighting “hate speech,” without citing a single example of the allegedly hateful speech. Conflating Jones' and Infowars' anti-establishment truth-telling with Buddhist generals inciting genocide is outrageous, of course. But that is exactly what the UN boss and the establishment are seeking to do.

Obviously, this is not the first time the UN has openly demanded an end to free speech. As The New American reported a year ago, after a protest and counter-protest in Charlottesville turned violent, the UN released a statement demanding that the U.S. government “provide the necessary guarantees so that such rights [free speech and freedom of association] are not misused to promote racist hate speech.” By contrast, the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment protects the inalienable right to free speech, even if it is racist or abhorrent. And the UN knows that very well, but apparently believes its discredited “human rights law” trumps the Constitution.  

In 2014, meanwhile, again under the guise of “human rights,” the UN viciously attacked the Japanese government and its constitutional protections for free speech. At least two separate UN outfits, the dictator-dominated UN “Human Rights Commission” and the UN “Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination” both condemned Japan for failing to criminalize free speech. The global body called on authorities to overthrow the nation’s constitution and take “appropriate steps to revise its legislation” by criminalizing and punishing speech, rallies, and groups considered “hateful.” The outfit also demanded a “comprehensive law prohibiting racial discrimination.” On top of that, the UN called on the government to “prohibit all propaganda” that might incite "discrimination" or “hate.”

Perhaps relying on the ignorance of the media, or perhaps ignorant himself, Hussein has been careful not to reveal the origin of the whole “hate-speech” agenda. But it is hardly a secret. A 2011 report by the respected Hoover Institution, for instance, exposed the originator of the “hate speech” campaign: the mass-murdering hate regime ruling the Soviet Union. “The introduction of hate-speech prohibitions into international law was championed in its heyday by the Soviet Union and allies,” the paper on the “sordid origin of hate-speech laws” explained. “Their motive was readily apparent. The communist countries sought to exploit such laws to limit free speech.” Acceptance of hate-speech schemes by what remains of the free world, the report added, could have “devastating consequences for the preservation of free speech.”

For good measure, Hussein pretended to be concerned about too much Internet censorship by Big Tech. His supposed defense of free expression, though, was in reality, a call for supplanting genuine free speech, as protected by the First Amendment, with UN-approved speech controls. Among other concerns, apparently reacting to Trump's threats to social-media companies amid growing censorship of conservatives and Christians, Hussein said “there is also another danger (of being) overregulated.” To deal with that, the UN “rights” chief, a prince with the Islamic monarchy ruling Jordan, called for the Internet and social media to “be regulated by international human rights law.”

To understand the implications of that, it helps to look at what the UN dishonestly touts as its international “human rights law.” Consider that, according to the UN's “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” all of your “rights” can be restricted or abolished by government at will under virtually any pretext. In Article 29 of the declaration, which claims that the pseudo-rights can be limited “by law” under the guise of everything from “public order” to “the general welfare,” the UN even argues that “rights and freedoms” may “in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.”

Such an absurdity would be tantamount to the First Amendment declaring that Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech — unless that speech is being used to criticize Congress or otherwise makes Congress unhappy or goes against its purposes and principles. America's founders said publicly that rights such as free speech were inalienable and came from God — the idea that those rights could be restricted or abolished would have sounded grotesque. Obviously, the two views on human rights are incompatible at a basic level. The two visions are actually almost opposites — unalienable God-given rights protected in the Constitution on one hand, versus revocable government-granted privileges on the other.        

There are some limits to free speech in America. In a ruling that reversed the conviction of a Ku Klux Klan group, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Brandenburg v. Ohio that even the “advocacy of the use of force” is protected, with the exception being if it is “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action” and is “likely to incite or produce such action.” That means pro-genocide speech that was actually intended to foment a slaughter — such as the rhetoric of many of South Africa's top political leaders, or what has reportedly taken place in Myanmar that Hussein relied on for his dishonest propaganda — would not be protected under the Supreme Court's understanding of the First Amendment. In short, even considering the isolated case in question, there is no need for Internet firms such as Facebook to defer to UN “human rights” absurdities in deciding to censor speech.

It seems that everyday people understand this, by and large. On the few establishment propaganda organs that have not yet removed their comment sections to conceal how discredited the media has become, it was abundantly clear that Americans and news consumers worldwide saw right through the dishonest UN and establishment attempt to subvert free speech. In an article posted on Yahoo! News, for instance, virtually every comment ridiculed Hussein, the UN, and their totalitarian agenda to smash free speech. The U.S. government appears to be cracking down on the UN's increasingly unhinged behavior as well.    

In response to the blatant totalitarianism-mongering by the UN's almost comically discredited “human rights” machine, the Trump administration has taken serious action. First, it was announced that the U.S. government would withdraw from the UN “Human Rights Council,” a disgraced body that is dominated by many of the world's most brutal mass murderers — communists, socialists, and Islamist tyrants galore. To understand just how outlandish the body is, Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddhafi led the UN Human Rights Commission a little over a decade ago, forcing the bureaucracy to be re-branded as a “council” after becoming the subject of global ridicule.

More recently, the Trump administration, via National Security Adviser John Bolton, announced that it was planning to cut funding from Hussein's disgraced UN Office of the “High Commissioner for Human Rights.” With a Castro-loving Marxist set to take over the outfit to promote abortion and global socialism, an end to U.S. tax subsidies for this farce cannot come soon enough. UN officials insist the U.S. government's withdrawal of American tax funding from the “human rights” bureaucracy will not be “fatal” to the farce. Nor will U.S. government withdrawals from key UN agencies and agreements such as the UN “education” bureaucracy known as UNESCO or the “Paris Agreement” purporting to fight “climate change.”   

However, Congress and the president could easily deliver a fatal blow to the dictatorial UN if they wanted to. In fact, legislation sitting in the House Foreign Affairs Committee known as the American Sovereignty Restoration Act (H.R. 193) would not only end U.S. membership in the dictators club, it would also expel its headquarters from U.S. soil. By passing this simple bill, America could protect its independence and end the UN's decades-long war against true human rights. But for that to happen, outraged Americans will have to demand it in large numbers. There has never been a better time than now.

Buddhists and Hindus, Catholics and superstitious people are there. Their fascination with apparitions claiming to be Mary may be part of Satan's last days' deception. We know from God's Word that "the coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders" (2 Thess. 2:9). As the Day of the Lord approaches, we should not be surprised if apparitions continue to increase. The idea that the FBI, as cowed, clueless, and compromised as it is, is riddled with “Islamophobia” is absurd beyond measure. This lawsuit is a clear attempt to hamstring and destroy even the feeble counterterror efforts that the FBI is pursuing today, which will have the effect of clearing away still more obstacles in the way of the advancing jihad. I’ve said for years that Hamas-linked CAIR has opposed every counterterror measure that has ever been proposed or implemented, and this lawsuit is further confirmation of that fact.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations filed suit on August 8 against Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other federal agencies, which it accuses of creating “a kind of second-class citizenship” for American Muslims.

The lawsuit argues these agencies use an interagency watchlisting system that separates American Muslims from their children, denies them employment opportunities, prevents them from traveling by air, and rejects or delays their immigration benefits.

CAIR’s challenge comes months after an annual report on the status of civil rights for Muslims in the United States, which found more Islamophobic episodes were instigated by federal agencies than either hate groups or individual bigots.

The report, based on complaints made to or investigated by CAIR, found the number of anti-Muslim incidents rose 17 percent between 2016 and 2017. It described some of the personal experiences of discrimination.

“Targeting by Customs and Border Protection” ranked within the five most prevalent kinds of abuse in 2017–a first since CAIR began issuing its annual report. CBP-related incidents outpaced even hate crimes to become the second most common type of discrimination last year.

CBP’s Islamophobia most frequently takes the form of racial profiling and invasion of privacy, explained Zainab Arain, a CAIR research and advocacy coordinator and author of the organization’s most recent civil rights report.

“Muslim travelers are often taken to secondary inspection and questioned about their background, their communication, and their contacts in the United States,” Arain shared. “They are asked religious questions that have nothing to do with the mission of CBP, which is to determine if individuals are lawfully permitted to enter the country.”

Besides being an abuse of power by CBP, Arain emphasized the unconstitutional nature of religious questioning.

“They are also seizing and searching people’s electronics at the border without probable cause,” Arain continued. “If someone refuses to unlock their device, CBP will often take it from the individual and keep it to jailbreak.”

Unlike CBP, the FBI has regularly appeared as a leading perpetrator of anti-Muslim discrimination in CAIR’s annual reports, most recently coming in fourth place.

The FBI’s targeting of Muslims most often involves unwarranted surveillance of and unjustified visits to mosques, homes, and workplaces to question people about their social networks and religious beliefs.

“Questions include: Do you know so-and-so at your masjid? Do you know anybody who is ‘radicalized?’ What do you think about such-and-such imam? What are your thoughts about this school of religious thought?” explained Arain. “Such behavior discourages Muslims from exercising their first amendment right to free practice of religion because they feel threatened.”

Taken together, federal agencies were responsible for 35 percent of all documented complaints–more than any other category, including harassment, hate crimes, and employment discrimination.

In its report, CAIR attributes this “almost unprecedented level of government hostility toward a religious minority” to the presidency of Donald Trump in general and his multiple executive orders banning Muslim travel to the U.S., which spurred 18 percent of all recorded Islamophobic incidents from 2017….

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- The Immigration and Nationality Act mandates that all immigrants and refugees undergo a medical screening examination to determine whether they have an inadmissible health condition. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has technical instructions for medical examination of prospective immigrants in their home countries before they are permitted to enter the U.S. They are screened for communicable and infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis, polio, measles, mumps and HIV. They are also tested for syphilis, gonorrhea and other sexually transmitted diseases. The CDC also has medical screening guidelines for refugees. These screenings are usually performed 30 to 90 days after refugees arrive in the United States.

But what about people who enter our country illegally? The CDC specifically cites the possibility of the cross-border movement of HIV, measles, pertussis, rubella, rabies, hepatitis A, influenza, tuberculosis, shigellosis and syphilis.

Chris Cabrera, a Border Patrol agent in South Texas, warned: “What's coming over into the U.S. could harm everyone. We are starting to see scabies, chickenpox, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections and different viruses.”

Some of the youngsters illegally entering our country are known to be carrying lice and suffering from various illnesses. Because there have been no medical examinations of undocumented immigrants, we have no idea how many are carrying infectious diseases that might endanger American children when these immigrants enter schools across our nation.

According to the CDC, in most industrialized countries, the number of cases of tuberculosis and the number of deaths caused by TB steadily declined during the 100 years prior to the mid-1980s. Since the '80s, immigrants have reversed this downward trend in countries that have had substantial levels of immigration from areas where the disease is prevalent.

In 2002, the CDC said: “Today, the proportion of immigrants among persons reported as having TB exceeds 50 percent in several European countries, including Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland. A similar proportion has been predicted for the United States”.

The number of active TB cases among American-born citizens declined from an estimated 17,725 in 1986 to 3,201 in 2015. That was an 80 percent drop. Data reported to the National Tuberculosis Surveillance System show that the TB incidence among foreign-born people in the United States (15.1 cases per 100,000) is approximately 13 times the incidence among U.S.-born people (1.2 cases per 100,000). Those statistics refer to immigrants who are legally in the U.S. There is no way for us to know the incidence of tuberculosis and other diseases carried by those who are in our country illegally and hence not subject to medical examination.

This public health issue is ignored by all those Americans championing sanctuary cities. The public health issue is also ignored by Americans clamoring for open borders, and that includes many of my libertarian friends. By the way, in the late 19th century and early 20th century, when masses of European immigrants were trying to enter our country, those with dangerous diseases were turned back from Ellis Island. Americans hadn't “progressed” to the point of thinking that anyone in the world has a legal right to live in America. Neither did they think that it was cruel or racist to take measures to prevent our fellow Americans from catching diseases from foreigners.

But aside from diseases, there is the greater threat of welcoming to our shores people who have utter contempt for Western values and want to import anti-Western values to our country, such as genital mutilation, honor killings and the oppression of women. Many libertarian types make the argument that we would benefit from open borders when it comes to both people and goods. That vision ignores the important fact that when we import, say, tomatoes from Mexico, as opposed to people, to the U.S., they are not going to demand that we supply them with welfare benefits.

The bottom line is that we Americans have a right to decide who enters our country and under what conditions. If we forgo that right, we cease to be a sovereign nation. But that may not be important to some Americans.

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — A “Whom to Leave Behind” assignment given to students at a public middle school in Ohio has generated controversy as it asks youth to choose 8 people from a list of 12 whose lives will be saved in a hypothetical situation in which the Earth will be destroyed.

According to reports, the exercise was recently assigned to students at Roberts Middle School in Cuyahoga Falls and emanated from the University of Houston’s Diversity Activities Resource Guide.

“The twelve persons listed below have been selected as passengers on a spaceship for a flight to another planet because tomorrow the planet Earth is doomed for destruction,” it reads. “Due to changes in space limitations, it has now been determined that only eight persons may go.”

The assignment then asks students to select the eight who will be placed on the spaceship, ranking them by number as to who is the “most deserving.”

“On your own, take approximately 5 minutes and rank order of the passengers from one to twelve based on those who you feel are most deserving to make the trip with one being most deserving and twelve being least deserving,” it instructs.

The class is then to come together and decide as a group who will make the trip.

Those on the list are:

“An accountant with a substance abuse problem, a militant African-American medical student, a 33-year-old Native American manager who does not speak English, the accountant’s pregnant wife, a famous novelist with a physical disability, a 21-year-old female Muslim international student, a Hispanic clergyman who is against homosexuality, a female movie star who was recently the victim of sexual assault, a racist armed police officer who has been accused of using excessive force, a homosexual male professional athlete, an Asian orphaned 12-year-old boy, a 60-year-old Jewish university administrator.”

Sixth Ward Councilman Adam Miller told local television station Fox 8 Cleveland that his office has been receiving calls from concerned parents who object to the assignment. He says that he can understand the frustration as he finds the exercise as being inappropriate for children, and carrying the potential to plant prejudice and stereotypes in their minds.

“[Discussions about diversity] are important and I encourage them to continue these type of discussions, but I felt this particular assignment with some of the language used and not consulting with parents prior could lend to a lot of confusion,” Miller told the outlet, “and in my opinion, [it could] just kind of implant certain stereotypes and judgments within these young kids’ minds that they shouldn’t be having at this young age.”

“They shouldn’t have to rank these people,” also remarked parent Tia Salchak, whose son was among those given the assignment. “Everything in here is very judgmental and all these stereotypes—they are just negative stereotypes and I don’t think it’s appropriate.”

She said that her son didn’t feel comfortable with numbering anyone on the list.

While an investigation was launched into the matter and the assignment has been scrapped going forward, Superintendent Todd Nichols has also defended the exercise, outlining that it was rather meant to be a positive life lesson to promote diversity. He believes that parents have missed the point.

“With regard to the assignment recently issued by a teacher at Roberts Middle School, it is important to provide context,” he said in a statement posted to the Cayuga Falls School District website. “One of the district’s goals this year is training in the areas of diversity awareness and social justice. In this case, the intent of this assignment aligned with the goals of the district and was issued in four seventh and eighth-grade classes.”

“The intent of this lesson was to engage in an activity in diversity designed to promote tolerance and break down stereotypes,” Nichols wrote, stating that it was meant for students to better understand each other. “It is the responsibility of a 21st-century educator to deliver a holistic education to all of their students. In Cuyahoga Falls, one of our objectives is to engage in conversations concerning diversity and social justice.”

He apologized for any offense that the assignment caused.

“Unfortunately, some parents were upset and concerned by this particular assignment and thought it was not age-appropriate,” Nichols said. “The teacher and district offer their most sincere apologies for the offense caused by the content used in this assignment. Future assignments on this topic will be more carefully selected.”

The teacher who issued the exercise has been identified as Richard Perich. He has not commented to the media about the matter.

2 Peter 3:9-10 outlines that while a day of judgment is coming to the Earth, God does not desire for anyone to perish, but to repent and be saved.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
