President pulls troops out of Syria, places military on US border
Not long after Trump announced he was bringing troops home from Syria, the president said he’ll keep the military deployed on the US border “until we can have a wall and proper security.”
“I’ve been speaking with Gen. Mattis. We’re going to be doing things militarily,” he stated on Tuesday. “Until we can have a wall and proper security, we’re going to be guarding our border with the military.”
The move is a response to both the incoming illegal alien caravan heading north to the US/Mexico border and to congressional Democrats who are stonewalling progress on a border wall.
Deploying the military to the border is a “big step,” the president said.
“We really haven’t done that before, certainly not very much before,” he added.
Earlier the president announced he was pulling troops out of Syria, which signals a drastic change from the Bush/Obama policy to deploy troops everywhere in the world while ignoring US border security.
“Our primary mission in terms of that was getting rid of ISIS [Daesh]. We’ve almost completed that task and we’ll be making a decision very quickly in coordination with others, as to what we’ll do. Saudi Arabia is very interested in our decision,” Trump stated Tuesday morning. “I want to get out. I want to bring our troops home.”

A caravan of 1,500 people funneling through Mexico towards the U.S. border have released a list of demands that President Trump is expected to comply with, including unfettered access to the United States.
Pueblo sin Fronteras, the political outreach group who organized the caravan, released a press statement for the United States, Mexico, and their respective Central American governments.
“We demand of the Mexico and the United States: that they respect our rights as refugees and our right to dignified work to be able to support our families,” the statements reads.
The second demand is “that they open the borders to us because we are as much citizens as the people of the countries where we are and/or travel.”
Frankly, immigration wouldn’t be a hotbed political issue in America and the world if that second statement was true.
A look at the Pueblo sin Fronteras group website shows that they have extensive experience leading caravans of migrants across different countries illegally.
“Our mission is to provide shelter and safety to migrants and refugees in transit, accompany them in their journey, and together demand respect for our human rights,” says the group’s Facebook page.
“Our dream is to build solidarity bridges among peoples and turndown border walls imposed by greed.”
In the face of this clear PR stunt orchestrated by leftist advocates, Trump has already shut down any notion of letting the caravan into the U.S., accusing Mexico of facilitating the groups trying to take advantage of the DACA situation.
“These big flows of people are all trying to take advantage of DACA. They want in on the act!” tweeted the president on Sunday.

A growing caravan of would-be illegal immigrants from Central America is heading north through Mexico in an effort to cross the U.S. border and receive amnesty, prompting President Trump to take deportation protections for “dreamers” off the table while warning Mexican authorities to intervene or face consequences. According to press reports, more than a thousand Latin American immigrants in a “caravan” organized by an extremist anti-borders group are hoping to find safety in numbers as they make their way to the United States. But if Trump's comments are any indication, the journey will not be easy — and it is unlikely to be successful. In fact, the scheme may backfire by causing even more concerned Americans to demand that Congress act to properly secure the border.
News of the massive caravan making its way through Mexico was first reported by the left-wing website Buzzfeed. Self-styled “reporter” Adolfo Flores, writing from Mexico while accompanying the would-be migrants, highlighted the total lack of effort by Mexican authorities to stop the flow. “For five days now hundreds of Central Americans — children, women, and men, most of them from Honduras — have boldly crossed immigration checkpoints, military bases, and police in a desperate, sometimes chaotic march toward the United States,” he wrote. “Despite their being in Mexico without authorization, no one has made any effort to stop them.” The caravan has been growing larger “with each step they took,” Flores noted, pointing to Mexican border officials who simply got out of the way.
“When they get to the US, they hope American authorities will grant them asylum or, for some, be absent when they attempt to cross the border illegally,” Buzzfeed reported. “More likely is that it will set up an enormous challenge to the Trump administration's immigration policies and its ability to deal with an organized group of migrants.” According to the report, the outfit behind the caravan, known as Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or Peoples Without Borders, counted 1,200 migrants in the caravan on the first day. The numbers are growing, quickly. And it seems that the effort may be designed to make U.S. immigration enforcement seem cruel. Indeed, the migrants say they are “fleeing poverty” as well as “political unrest and violence,” citing the election of a conservative president.
As is typical in political demonstrations organized by Marxists and their useful idiots, the caravan marchers have reportedly been chanting political slogans such as “el pueblo, unido, jamas sera vencido.” In English, that means “the people, united, will never be defeated.” The migrants in the caravan have also been chanting slogans demonizing the elected president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, who ran as a conservative Christian in defiance of the so-called Pink Tide of subversion, tyranny, and communism spreading its tentacles across the region from Havana, Caracas, Moscow, and Beijing. The marchers have also been shouting globalist slogans, reportedly chanting “we aren't immigrants, we're international workers.”
It is clear that the operation is highly organized. And the organizers clearly know what they are doing. According to the Buzzfeed report, the migrants were organized into groups of 10 or 15 people, each with a leader. Five of those small groups were then organized as a “sector.” There are also “committees” to handle food, security, logistics, and more. The People Without Borders outfit then helps them arrange transportation and more, while apparently radicalizing the migrants with far-left rhetoric and ideology — perhaps a coordinated effort to create more future Democrat voters if and when the U.S. government grants another round of amnesty. Despite the Spanish name, much of the activity and the leadership appears to be based in the United States.
The precise nature of the group behind the caravan, as well as its funding sources, remain carefully concealed. But there are strong hints about the agenda. Across social media, for example, the “Peoples Without Borders” features images of migrants raising their clenched fists in the well-known communist-style salute. They claim to be part of the "resistance." A YouTube video posted on the website claims to be seeking the “right” to immigrate to the United States while falsely accusing the government — presumably the American government — of murdering and assassinating migrants at the border. In reality, Border Patrol agents go out of their way, risk their lives, and expend massive resources to rescue stranded and imperiled illegal immigrants, literally every day of the year.
A brief search of domain registration records reveals that the website of the outfit was registered by Roberto Corona of San Diego, California, a professional left-wing anti-borders activist. A phone number listed in registration documents was not answered, despite repeated calls. According to media reports, Corona is a “communications director” for the shadowy front group behind the caravan. A brief Internet search, however, reveals more sinister results. On his Twitter account there is all manner of fringe left-wing political propaganda — including a film he helped make that absurdly blames the grinding poverty in Cuba on the U.S. embargo, rather than the mass-murdering Communist regime enslaving the once-prosperous island nation.
While the establishment and the far-left celebrated the caravan of would-be illegal immigrants, President Trump made clear that it would be resisted. In a series of Twitter posts, he also lashed out at Democrats, the “ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws,” and the Mexican government. “Mexico has the absolute power not to let these large 'Caravans' of people enter their country,” the president said. “They must stop them at their Northern Border, which they can do because their border laws work, not allow them to pass through into our country, which has no effective border laws.” Trump also said Mexico was doing little to nothing to stop the flow of illegal immigrants from Central America. “They laugh at our dumb immigration laws,” he said.
Trump threatened the government of Mexico with ending NAFTA — their “cash cow” — if Mexican authorities did not crack down. And he repeatedly emphasized the need for a wall on the Southern border to stop the mass influx of Third World immigration. The president also lambasted the infamous Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, an unconstitutional decree by Obama purporting to shield certain illegal immigrants from deportation. “These big flows of people are all trying to take advantage of DACA,” Trump wrote, arguing that the possibility of amnesty was motivating even more immigrants to flood across the border. “They want in on the act!” Ironically, despite his campaign promises, Trump has been pushing Congress to provide amnesty for millions.
But now, Trump says that Democrats are to blame for failing to provide amnesty, and that the offer is off the table. “DACA is dead because the Democrats didn’t care or act, and now everyone wants to get onto the DACA bandwagon,” Trump said. “Must build Wall and secure our borders with proper Border legislation. Democrats want No Borders, hence drugs and crime!” Instead of working with Democrats, Trump urged Republican lawmakers to use the so-called “Nuclear Option,” first employed by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Democrat), to bypass a potential filibuster by Senate Democrats. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen echoed Trump's comments, saying she was “working with Mexican officials” to address the illegal alien caravan and that “all options” were being explored.
Conservative commentators have praised Trump's firmness. Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, who now hosts a popular TV show, appeared on Fox & Friends to sound the alarm, saying “open borders” supporters lack compassion for the American people and for legal immigrants. “What about the struggle of the thousands of people from a lot of these other countries that have waited patiently on line to do this the right way? What about that struggle?” he asked, noting that liberals ignore the negative consequences of illegal immigration. “One, there’s a consequence for us — Americans who have to finance this chaos. This isn’t immigration policy; this is chaos. Secondly, for people who come to the country patiently and legally and they do it the right way. You can’t have a country without borders. It’s just a landmass without borders.”
Also appearing on the Fox & Friends show was National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd. Among other comments, Judd accused Mexican government officials of aiding and abetting the criminal activity of migrants. He called for accomplices, including Mexican officials and activists, to be prosecuted in the United States for helping to flaunt U.S. immigration laws. “The Republicans control the House and the Senate; they do not need the Democrat support to pass any laws they want,” he said, calling on lawmakers to end the “catch and release” scheme that encourages more illegal immigration. Judd also lambasted Obama holdovers in the federal bureaucracy working to sabotage border control and Trump's agenda.
In a news release, Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin said the group was “thrilled” to see Trump taking a stand to stop the migrant caravan. “We urge Congress to follow the President's warning about the coming caravan,” he said, blasting the “lawless Obama-era policies” that allowed for the mass influx of unvetted migrants. “This is a golden opportunity for Republicans and Democrats alike to prove to American voters that they take our national sovereignty seriously. Phyllis Schlafly Eagles will work tirelessly to remind voters who in public office took action to defend our American jobs, families, and values. With midterm primaries upon them, we urge Congress to put American citizens first. They must pass measures swiftly and avoid the gridlock for which the swamp is so despised.”
The people clearly want it stopped. But if Congress is going to get serious and defy the Deep State swamp, it will take a veritable uprising by the American public to override the money and power of special interests and globalist insiders.

The Mexican economy minister once threatened to flood the US with illegals if Mexico did not get a preferable NAFTA agreement.
In August 2017, Ildefonso Guajardo hinted at using illegal aliens as political pawns to renegotiate NAFTA, which President Trump vowed to gut during his presidential campaign.
“If they do not treat [us] well commercially, they should not expect us to treat them well by containing the migration that comes from other regions of the world and crosses Mexico,” he said. “Or they should not expect to be treated well in collaboration with security issues in the region.”
Currently, Trump is warning Mexican officials to enforce their immigration laws or it’s over for their “cash cow” NAFTA.

Pueblo Sin Fronteras, the group in charge of the annual “migrant caravan,” launched its effort during Holy Week by invoking the Stations of the Cross with biblical costumery and prop crosses. When they're not serving as human traffickers masquerading as human rights activists, these travel agents for amnesty busy themselves constructing shelters along their illicit pathways that span the globe. Catholic groups have sponsored and subsidized such nation-sabotaging campaigns for decades.
The Vatican itself donated at least $20,000 in 2009 to erect a shelter for Central American illegal aliens sneaking through Ixtepec, Mexico, where they hopped on freight trains into our country. Another papal society, Catholic Extension, has poured more than $12 million dollars into ministries along our southern border over the past five years “to ensure that those who are on a journey are protected by the Church and that we advocate on their behalf,” according the Catholic News Agency.
In Colorado, five illegal aliens have taken sanctuary in houses of worship in the outlaw safe spaces of Mancos, Denver, Carbondale and Boulder — more than any other state. Each had multiple bites at the legal apple that stretched out for years. Our immigration courts heard their cases, rejected their appeals, turned down the appeals of their appeals and ordered them to leave. Religious groups have provided lawyers and media relations consultants every step of the way.
In Washington state, the Jesuit-affiliated St. Joseph Catholic Church of Seattle blasted President Trump's “destructive and brutal” immigration enforcement and declared “our unwavering solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the immigrant community.” All deportations violate “Catholic Social Teaching” and “the common good,” the parish asserted.
In Manhattan's Upper West Side, the Fourth Universalist Society of New York is harboring a mother and her family who've lived here illegally for more than a dozen years and feel entitled to flout their deportation orders.
In Springfield, Massachusetts, the South Congregational Church is shielding a Peruvian woman and her two children facing deportation. Mayor Domenic Sarno has called on the city council to revoke the church's property tax exemption so that no “public dollars shall be allocated for the purpose of interfering with the religious freedoms of South Church in accordance to our Constitution.” In response to a rare public official taking his legal and fiduciary responsibilities seriously, the church's leader condemned Sarno's soul.
In Las Vegas, the incoming Catholic Bishop George Leo Thomas announced that illegal immigration and gun control will top his spiritual agenda. Echoing the left-wing U.S. Conference on Catholic Bishops, Thomas pledged to support and advocate for the so-called illegal alien Dreamers and welcome them into the church.
In San Diego, Catholic and Episcopal leaders united to protest construction of the border wall while waving Mexican flags. “Jesus said we should love our neighbor,” one argued.
True, but Scripture also teaches citizens to honor the rule of law and secular authorities who preserve and defend civil order and safety:
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment” (Romans 13:1-7).
The Acton Institute's Brooke Levitske put it more bluntly: “Christ expected his followers to treat criminals in prison the way they would treat him, but he said nothing about busting them out of prison.”
As a Catholic who believes in strict immigration enforcement, I have argued repeatedly that it is one thing to show compassion to legal immigrants, legitimate refugees and asylees, and those abused and mistreated by smugglers. It's quite another to conspire against an orderly immigration and entrance system that imposes commonsense limits, eligibility requirements, criminal background checks, medical screening and a commitment to assimilation.
Our laws are clear: 8 U.S. Code Section 1324 makes it a felony to knowingly bring or attempt to bring aliens across the border illegally; to knowingly conceal, harbor or shield them from detection in reckless disregard for the law; and to engage in any conspiracy or to aid and abet such acts.
We reserve the right to regulate entry into our country for the same reasons the Vatican itself has high barriers, armed guards and metal detectors. Yet, Pope Francis has lambasted President Trump and our walls as “not Christian.”
If you don't like our laws, change them. If you can't respect our sovereignty, go organize a caravan of alien trespassers and seek permanent shelter at the Sistine Chapel. Good luck with that.

This was a pro- 2nd amendment walkout today organized by my grand niece, Chloe Deaton and other students at Rockledge High School in Brevard County, FL. Chloe loves her country and wanted to express her belief in defending the 2nd amendment of the Constitution.
The completely unplanned, unstaged, unfunded, and spontaneous gathering of 75 students outside Rockledge High School in Brevard County, Florida, last Friday morning was almost completely ignored by the mainstream media. Organized by Chloe Deaton, a sophomore, and Anna Delaney, a junior, the event lasted 20 minutes, just long enough to make their point: Other students in the same high school and around the country who urged more infringements on the people's right to keep and bear arms didn’t speak for them.
After playing the national anthem (no one kneeled) and “God Bless America” on loudspeakers set up on the school’s track, Delaney told her classmates, “We were built on certain rights and that was one of the original rights, that we should have the right to bear arms.” She can be forgiven for failing to note that the right to self-defense and, thereby, the access to tools useful for self-defense are natural rights and pre-date the Constitution.
She made up for her misstatement by quoting President Ronald Reagan, who got it right: “The Constitution does not say that government shall decree the right to keep and bear arms." The Constitution says “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
Seventy-five students, compared to the thousands — some say hundreds of thousands — of “students” bussed in to Washington the week before no doubt caused some in the freedom fight to ask: How can such low numbers of people who dare to speak the truth outshine the mainstream media’s anti-gun agenda, which aims to drown out or ignore that truth?
The one-sidedness of the media slant was even more evident the next day when a grassroots gathering sponsored by Minnesota Gun Rights and North Star Liberty Alliance brought together 1,000 people at the state capitol in St. Paul for similar reasons: to support the Second Amendment and to complain about their legislators’ determination to infringe on it. Once again, the silence from the mainstream media was deafening.
But we don't need to outshine them, we need to merely show as many people as we can that they are not alone: They are part of a larger effort. When challenged by the vast ignorance expressed by so many in his own day, Albert Jay Nock (b. 1870, d. 1945) took great comfort in relating similar concerns expressed by the Old Testament prophet Isaiah:

Make it clear that they are positively down to their last chance. Give it to them good and strong and keep on giving it to them.
I suppose perhaps I ought to tell you," He added, "that it won't do any good. The official class and their intelligentsia will turn up their noses at you and the masses will not even listen. They will all keep on in their own ways until they carry everything down to destruction, and you will probably be lucky if you get out with your life."
Isaiah had been very willing to take on the job — in fact, he had asked for it — but the prospect put a new face on the situation. It raised the obvious question: Why, if all that were so — if the enterprise were to be a failure from the start — was there any sense in starting it? "Ah," the Lord said, "you do not get the point. When the mainstream media fails to report on such events, that doesn’t mean that those events aren’t occurring everywhere all the time. Those in the freedom fight, including active members of the John Birch Society, take heart from such events, knowing that they do not labor alone. In the present case, those who are ignored by the media are far from alone: Polls show that less than half of students age 13 to 17 think that more gun control would reduce mass shootings, but that the vast majority of adults recognize that the availability of guns actually reduces violent crime and murders.
And so, as Nock paraphrased the Lord: “Be off now and set about it!”
The Italian newspaper, La Repubblica, printed an article last Wednesday announcing that the Pope had expressly denied the existence of hell and the immortality of the human soul, in a recent conversation with the founder of the newspaper. On Thursday, the 29th of March 2018, the Holy See stated that the reported interview between Pope Francis and an Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari, which claimed the Pope denied the existence of hell, should not be considered as an accurate depiction of Pope Francis’ words, but the author’s own “reconstruction”.
Scalfari, who has always been perceived as a Papal confidant, claimed Pope Francis had abolished hell, purgatory, and heaven back in early October 2017, so this is not a mistake, but a definite reiteration of a heretical thought the Pope already discussed with the same journalist in earlier interviews. News spread around the world of the Pope’s denial of hell, and the Vatican was desperate to clarify the comments made by the Jesuit Pope. A strong and unexpected sign from the Heavens was witnessed in the heart of the Vatican, when several pieces of plaster fell from St Peter’s Basilica, fortunately causing no harm, in what was a terrorizing experience and narrow escape for many tourists standing by.

In the Sistine Chapel, there contains the many magnificent frescos painted by Michelangelo, depicting the story of Christianity which is his interpretation of The Last Judgment. It was painted on the wall behind the altar 15 years after the ceiling was painted. This floor to ceiling masterpiece of amazing proportions portrays hundreds of corpses snatched from their graves and carried by angels to either heaven or hell, concepts the present Pope seems to want to abandon. Masses of tourists crammed into a packed Saint Peter’s Basilica, were left shaken, as a shower of plaster rained down from a height of nearly 20 metres, not far from the chapel where Michelangelo’s Pieta is located, in what the Ancient Romans would have considered an ominous sign.

This is the same Pope that washed and kissed the feet of two Muslims in a Holy Thursday ritual, while the accident at St Peter’s Basilica was taking place.
Frank Page has been the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Southern Baptist Convention’s executive committee since 2010, a position in which he overseen hundreds of millions of Cooperative Program dollars . He also served as President of the Southern Baptist Convention (2006-2008) and Vice President of the North American Mission Board (2009-2010). Page has also resigned from his position at the SBC Executive Committee, and after a quick attempt to leave without explanation, was forced later in the day to concede that it was over “an improper personal relationship” that those outside of the evangelical world call “adultery.”
Last night, the officers of the SBC executive committee were notified by Page of his retirement. According to reports at the “Baptist Press,” Page did not notify them at the time as to why he was quickly retiring. Today, Stephen Rummage – chairman of the Executive Committee – issued a statement explaining the real reason for Page’s departure, which he did not find out until later.
Rummage wrote:
Last evening, the officers of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee met via phone conference with Dr. Frank Page during which he announced his plans for retirement. Today, I spoke with Dr. Page and learned that his retirement announcement was precipitated by a morally inappropriate relationship in the recent past…This news will, we understand, bring great sorrow. I have shared with the Executive Committee officers what Dr. Page shared with me, including Dr. Page’s repentance and deep regret that his actions have caused pain for others.
Page also made a statement, as follows:
It is with deep regret that I tender my resignation from the SBC Executive Committee and announce my retirement from active ministry, effective immediately. As a result of a personal failing, I have embarrassed my family, my Lord, myself, and the Kingdom. Out of a desire to protect my family and those I have hurt, I initially announced my retirement earlier today without a complete explanation. However, after further wrestling with my personal indiscretion, it became apparent to me that this situation must be acknowledged in a more forthright manner. It is my most earnest desire in the days to come to rebuild the fabric of trust with my wife and daughters, those who know me best and love me most.
Page acknowledges that his first retirement announcement didn’t explain the nature of his resignation – he says – to protect his family and those he has hurt. It seems that pressure was put on Page throughout the day to be forthright and to make a public statement, which doesn’t speak well of his supposed repentance.
Frank Page was a supporter of Donald Trump, and ‘spiked the football’ after his election, writing that Southern Baptists helped elect him out of “principles and pragmatism.” In that post, Page said he would encourage Trump to help protect marriage.
Irony.
We hope and pray that Dr. Page is brought to repentance, and that his marriage can overcome this hardship. We pray for his wife and children. We also pray for the other person involved, and we hope that they receive the help they need as well.

In a 2017 Reddit post, ‘March For Our Lives’ gun control activist David Hogg celebrates the fact that mosquitoes kill “billions” of people as being “great for the environment”.
Another user on the site asked the question, “What is a positive reason for mosquitoes to exist?” to which Hogg responded, “They kill humans, billions of them, which is great for the environment.” The post was made eight months ago.
Although the entry was posted under the pseudonym ‘davisgreen111’, the account almost certainly belongs to Hogg. The poster refers to himself as “David Hogg” in one post and another post links to a video from Hogg’s personal YouTube channel. Another post confirms that he lives in Parkland, Florida.
Another post also links to a story about Hogg’s father, former FBI agent Kevin Hogg. In another post, ‘davisgreen111’ makes reference to his dad being an FBI agent.
According to the World Health Organization, mosquito bites result in the deaths of more than one million people every year. There are 300-500 million cases of malaria every year and a child dies from malaria every 30 seconds.
The Reddit post conflicts with Hogg’s public image as somebody who cares about saving lives. Some would also construe the remark as racist given that mosquito-related deaths disproportionately affect non-white people living in poor third world countries.

In other posts, Hogg repeatedly discusses his inability to get a girlfriend and in one instance refers to girls as bitches.
Infowars reached out to Hogg for a comment but has yet to receive a response.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham lost numerous sponsors and could potentially be forced to resign over a tweet in which she said Hogg was being whiny over getting rejected by colleges.

The Vatican announced the new Roman Catholic holiday will be observed every year on the Monday after Pentecost. This year, the occasion will fall on May 21. The pope considered how greatly the promotion of this devotion to Mary will encourage the growth of the maternal sense of the Church as well as a growth of genuine Marian piety. The decree states: "Mary is the mother of the members of Christ, because with charity she cooperated in the rebirth of the faithful into the Church, while the latter says that the birth of the Head is also the birth of the body, These considerations derive from the divine motherhood of Mary and from her intimate union in the work of the Redeemer, which culminated at the hour of the cross."
The Roman Catholic Church already has a number of feast days dedicated to Mary, including the Feast of Immaculate Conception, in observance that Mary was conceived without sin, and the Feast of Assumption, in observance that Mary did not die but ascended to Heaven like Jesus.
Mike's Comments: Mary described herself as a servant of the Lord (Luke 1:38). Yet the Catholic Church has elevated her to an omniscient goddess with divine attributes. She is said to be all-knowing, all seeing, and all powerful. The Catholic Mary has become a counterfeit savior and mediator who is said to have been born sinless and lived a sinless life. For Catholics, she has become a co-redeemer and the source of all grace. She is called the all-holy one, clearly a title belonging only to God.
This blasphemy stands in sharp contrast to what Scripture actually says and does not say about Mary. When Jesus said, 'I will build My Church,' he never said Mary would be the mother of His Church. The one true Church has only one Head, one Shepherd and one Builder: the Lord Jesus Christ. The true Church is the body of Christ, the bride; the flock of Christ and the household of faith. Scripture never speaks of Mary having a leadership role or as a mother over the church.
There is not one Scripture that show the disciples exalting or venerating Mary following the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ.In fact, the Bible says nothing about Mary's life or her later years after Christ's death. When she briefly appears with the disciples and the other believers on the day of Pentecost, she's not an object of worship or even a leader in the early church. She is just one among many. There simply are no biblical examples of anyone ever praying to her or venerating her.If you contrast that with the overwhelming number of books on the life of Mary, the miracles of Mary and the apparitions of Mary, it is obvious that a pagan goddess has been created in the minds of popes.
