LONGWOOD FOUNDATION GIVES LARGE GRANT TO DELAWARE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WHICH IN TURN FUNDS PLANNED PARENTHOOD

It was announced on Good Friday that one of the largest giving foundations in the state, Delaware Community Foundation, was given a large grant from the Longwood Foundation towards COVID-19 relief efforts.
The Delaware Community Foundation (DCF) donated $350,000 to 13 non-profits to provide "essential services" to the community in the midst of this pandemic, which is a noble thing. But....
One of those non-profits is Planned Parenthood of Delaware!
There are people we know and respect who give or have given to Delaware Community Foundation. While their funding has been used for good things, funding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and staffing for surgical abortions and calling it "health care" is an infraction, a wrong, that just cannot be overlooked or excused away. It's abhorrent.
Using the phrase "reproductive health care" is how abortion activists and advocates refer to the act of purposely killing and removing a baby from the womb.
If you are one of the donors to DCF, we hope that you will speak up and insist that the grant to Planned Parenthood be revoked, immediately and permanently. Be aware that DCF's Fund for Women also gives to Planned Parenthood (see the 2018 annual report).
You also have the option to stop funding DCF now and support the charities you love by transferring your funding to the National Christian Foundation. Learn about this organization; they're terrific and super easy to work with! Email me and I'll give you a direct contact. See all the links below after taking action. |

Please don't assume that someone else will take action on this. We need you to send a separate and personal email to the President of the Delaware Community Fund.
Politely, but firmly, ask him to revoke the grant to Planned Parenthood and any funding in the future. If DCF refuses to revoke the grant, then we must refuse to support them.

Remember that you must be both firm and respectful, because that is what works if you want to be heard and effective.
Important to note:
1. Planned Parenthood does NOT have a funding need or problem! 2. Abortion is an elective procedure. Essential equipment should be used for treating COVID-19 victims in our hospitals. 3. Planned Parenthood facilities in Delaware have been shut down in the past because of unsanitary practices, such as not cleaning instruments and operation rooms between patients. Abortion facilities are not required to operate by ambulatory surgical standards.
Please forward any responses that you receive from the Delaware Community Foundation to Info@DelawareFamilies.org
We must stand together and defend the lives of the preborn. |
