VERMONT LAW WOULD MAKE TAXPAYERS FUND CHILDREN'S "SEX CHANGE" SURGERIES

VERMONT LAW WOULD MAKE TAXPAYERS FUND CHILDREN'S "SEX CHANGE" SURGERIES
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
A new regulation in the Green Mountain State, should it pass, will require taxpayers to fund so-called “sex change surgeries” for children. On top of that, the law would allow for such surgeries even without parental consent.
Although Vermont’s laws currently state that an individual needs to be 21 years of age before receiving taxpayer-funded sex reassignment, health regulators are now requesting that Medicaid do the surgery free of charge for minors.
The sex change age requirement proposal comes from Vermont’s Department of Health Access, which would require parental notification, unless the child was an “emancipated minor,” which includes many children between the ages of 14 and 17.
These legal proposals would allow minors to receive one of 16 different types of surgeries to remove or modify their genitals, and would also include receiving free breast implants or free mastectomies.
The only requirements to receive free child sex reassignment surgery is a period of hormone therapy, living for a brief period “in a gender role that is congruent with their gender identity” and two evaluations from mental health professionals.
The modifications to the law will be codified by the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules after a period of public comment lasting until July 17.
Of course, such surgeries can change neither sex nor gender, and are little more than state-funded bodily mutiliation procedures.
