In recent years, Netflix has become one of the leaders in providing hypersexualized, sin-promoting content in TV and movies. And its reboot of Sabrina The Teenage Witch continues this trend. The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina chronicles the life of a 16-year-old girl who learns that she is the hybrid offspring of a witch and a pure human and must choose between pledging her soul to serve Satan or living among the “normal” human teens in her neighborhood. The show is riddled with Satanic imagery, the promotion of witchcraft as cool and liberating and flaunts X-rated sexual perversion. All the while, it is being marketed to teens, pre-teens and children – a continued sign of Hollywood’s relentless effort to corrupt the hearts and minds of the younger generations.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch encounters an inverted cross and a squared circle – satanic symbols abound on the show.

The trailer makes it clear that this show will openly promote witchcraft which has gained massive appeal among children, teens and adults alike in the past two decades. The show centers on Sabrina Spellman, a seemingly normal high school girl who learns in advance of her 16th birthday (which falls on Halloween – or the satanic high holiday of Samhain) that she is in fact half mortal human and half-witch. On her 16th birthday, her aunts who serve as her caretakers inform her that she must officially join Church of Night, the coven her family has belonged to for centuries. In order to do this, she must engage in a “Dark Baptism” a satanic ritual in which she is plunged into water and signs The Book of The Beast, pledging her life and soul to Satan.
At the Dark Baptism, Satan appears in the form of the half goat, half-human Baphomet.
As the “good”, “heroic” character of the show, Sabrina refuses to make the pledge when she finds the whole ritual disturbing. However, through a series of events, she ultimately does sign the Book of The Beast in order to unlock her full powers and save her friends. Thus, the show portrays the powers of a witch as something that can be used in a benevolent, loving way. This of course is a deception.
What Does The Bible Say About Witchcraft?

God forbade witchcraft in the Bible for a reason – to protect us from the evil spirits who
seek to destroy us.
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – Ephesians 6:12The Lord Jesus Christ, in discussing demonic activity stated that these beings see the human body as a “home” where it or numerous other demons can inhabit and possess. These are beings of superior knowledge and advanced age compared to mortal humanity. And they can fully corrupt a person’s heart and mind, bringing them away from salvation in The Lord Jesus Christ and one step closer to eternal damnation in Hell. And therefore, God issued the death penalty for witchcraft in the Old Testament and called occult practices “abominations” before Him. It was to protect His creation.

Sabrina’s human teacher, Ms. Wadwell is killed and possessed by the spirit of Madame Satan, the witch who Sabrina’s father was romantically involved with before leaving her for Sabrina’s fully human mother. Madame Satan killed herself in agony over Sabrina’s father leaving her and her soul went to Gehenna – the supposed place in hell for people who commit suicide. She returned via possession and seeks revenge upon the Spellman family.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus Christ explained that Gehenna, was the Lake of Fire, the ultimate place of punishment for Satan, his fallen angels and all human beings who die without forgiveness for their sin:
“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell [Gehenna]. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell [Gehenna].” – Matthew 5:29-30The punishment of Hell fire was so severe that Jesus warned that whatever was luring someone into sin no earthly pain or suffering could compare. Yet this is where Satan wants to lure humanity to end up.

The Bible says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20). The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina goes out of its way to show adoration for the Devil and the good, moral uses of witchcraft and the occult.
- After her boyfriend’s brother dies, Sabrina performs an occult ritual to resurrect him from the dead. During this episode the witches use soil from the “Cain Pit” in the cemetery owned by Sabrina’s family.
“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” – 1 John 3:11-12Unable to place Tommy’s soul in his resurrected body, Sabrina informs her boyfriend that she must kill his zombie brother.
In Revelation 13, the Beast is a clear reference to the Antichrist.

but they have also been aligned with movements for women’s equality and LGBT rights.
The notion that somehow these occult practices are moral and political tools against patriarchal, oppressive societies and governments is echoed throughout Hollywood. The
use of real-life rituals only furthers the glamorization and indoctrination into the ways of the Devil. Do not be deceived.
Beginning And End previously exposed the F/X series American Horror Story: Coven – which in almost identical fashion brazenly celebrated witchcraft, Satan and featured some of the most vulgar, gory scenes on television. This included dismemberment, a woman painting her face with the blood of dead infants and a mother molesting her crippled son on camera. All the while, the witches on the show were portrayed as powerful, independent and liberated thanks to their demonic powers. This should not be lost on the church. Christians cannot ignore issues of inequality but instead should boldly speak out against bigotry and share the equality all people find in Jesus Christ.

Pre-Teen Orgy
In one of the most disturbing scenes of the series, Sabrina walks into her friend’s house and discovers a group of teens engaging in an orgy.

“The popular Netflix series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is marketed to young teenage girls, tied to a family friendly comic franchise and billed as a modern reboot of the harmless “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” so when viewers were bombarded with a steamy orgy scene featuring underage characters, some parents and critics were shocked.Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, executive producer of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (and the writer of the comic it was based on) featured a similar type of underage explicit sex scene in the series “Riverdale” which he also helms. In the comic version of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – Sabrina’s deceased father possesses the body of Sabrina’s boyfriend and unbeknownst to Sabrina, lives through his body.
Kiernan Shipka, who is best known for her role as Sally Draper on the AMC hit “Mad Men,” portrays the 16-year-old witch in the young adult series, but the intimate scene in “Sabrina” is about as provocative as anything infamous womanizer Don Draper ever participated in on screen.
The orgy scene – set to Fiona Apple’s “Criminal” – appears in the seventh episode of the series and features half-a-dozen scantily clad teens in Sabrina’s house. When the 16-year-old namesake character is hesitant to join in, she’s mocked for “killing the mood” and told to either “get in, or get out.” (source).

Pray For Revival
American society and the world at large are being seduced into the world of the occult and away from the truth of the Bible. The Bible is clear: “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).This is Satan’s agenda. In his temporary intervention in the world today the Devil use any means to keep the eyes of the world away from God and the free forgiveness He offers through Jesus Christ. God gave His Son as the perfect sacrifice – taking the punishment for the sins of the world so that all who believe in Him can be rightfully forgiven. But the fallen angels and demonic realm want the world to doubt God’s Word at every turn and shows which glorify the occult and Satan are a major tool. If you are a Christian, pray for the hearts and minds of society to turn from these shows and believe in the God who created and loves them.
And if you are not a Christian ask yourself why there has been a sudden surge in popularity in shows that now promote the Devil? Whether it’s American Horror Story or the show Lucifer (which portrays the Devil as a kind, sympathetic hero), why is Hollywood promoting everything the Christian faith says is the most dangerous for the fate of your soul? It’s not a coincidence. Take the time to ignore Hollywood for a moment and hear God’s Word on these issues. Your eternity is at stake.
