In a continued war of words: The chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri reportedly warned the United States on Tuesday that, just as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned American President Donald Trump, threatening Iran would result in an “unimaginable” response that the U.S. will “regret.”
Days ago, Trump tweeted to Rouhani:
“Never, ever threaten the United States again or you will suffer the consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before.”
As with Islamic supremacists/jihadists, taqiyya is a specialty (particularly since Iran is Shi’ite):
General Baqeri went on to say that Iran is a peace-loving country and has never started any wars against other nations.
