Turkey’s President Erdogan, the wild card in the geopolitical matrix of the Middle East, is attempting to build bridges from the charred remains of the past. Of course, when confronted over a recent goodwill journey to meet with Sudanese butcher, Omar-al Bashir who killed an estimated 400,000 Sudanese citizens through ethnic cleansing, Erdogan laughed off any wrongdoing by Bashir.
