CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s co-founder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. A CAIR operative recently called for the overthrow of the U.S. government.

Please contact the mayor and City Council members, and politely and courteously let them know that you think it was unwise of them to honor a Hamas-linked group that has consistently opposed counter terror efforts and smeared those who call attention to the jihad threat.
The San Diego School Board is already being sued by Charles LiMandri the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund due to their working with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to implement aspects of Sharia in our public schools under the guise of an anti-bullying program. San Diego seems to be a prototypical city for the Islamic takeover in cooperation with La Raza.
Now, the San Diego City Council proclaims November 4th to be “CAIR Day.” The proclamation was sponsored by council member, David Alvarez, and approved by unanimous consent. No council member objected to the proclamation, so there was no formal vote. The measure passed on November 7, 2017.
David Alvarez, who would like to be Mayor of San Diego, submitted the proclamation. He represents a district that includes a nationally-known shrine to La Raza, Chicano Park.

There are four so-called Republicans on this Council, Scott Sherman, Lorie Zapf, Mark Kersey and Chris Cate. Mayor Kevin Faulconer is also a “Republican.”
