"And be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness have with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" —2 Corinthians 6:14-15 (KJV)
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron…"—1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV)
I honestly thought I had heard just about everything. I really did. Now, before I spill the beans, I'm warning you…cinch your belt a bit tighter because you're liable to drop your shorts. You're not gonna believe this. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), historically an extremely conservative organization, has officially lost its ever-loving mind!
Listen up, all you good Baptists. Guess what your tithes and offerings are going to be used for? Building a mosque in New Jersey as well as others across America. All in the name of "the God given right of anyone to worship any god anyone wants, including Allah." No, I am NOT kidding! I wish I were.
This is supposedly meant to foster religious tolerance. This whole pant-load of nonsense started when the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, filed a federal lawsuit against a planning board that denied its building permit application in December. This was after four years of hearings regarding modifications in design to tone down the Islamic elements, so it would fit in with the neighborhood.
Even with the modifications, there were local protests and push-back from township residents because they simply didn't want a mosque in their neighborhood. The lawsuit states "A Muslim mosque cannot be subjected to a different land-use approval process than a Christian church, simply because local protestors oppose the mosque."
An organization called the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, set out to form a diverse religious group to support the Islamic Society in their lawsuit, and named their little venture Mosques Across America. Ain't that just precious?
Enter the Southern Baptist Convention. Brent Walker, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, blathered "It's good when we can join hands with…folks we are sometimes on the other side of."
The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, as well as the International Mission Board, both agencies of the SBC, are also part of this consortium to kiss the backside of the Muslim community. Dr. Russell Moore, president of the above mentioned ERLC, the public-policy arm of the SBC, explained it this way.
"The time has come for Baptists to show true American Christian love for our openly allah-worshipping neighbors. The time has come for us to take a meaningful mosque building stand for their right to worship. When it comes to religious tolerance and enabling people to do what they feel is right, regardless of anything that any particular God or Bible has said on the matter, it's time for us as good American Baptists to put our money where our mouth is and help our muslim friends build the mosques that they need."
Uh, no it's not! There are plenty of mosques in this country as it is.
That's not the end of the idiocy. The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) also jumped on this monkey train. Galen Carey, vice-president of government relations of the NAE made the following moronic statement: "In many countries, Christians face a hard time getting permission to build a church and in America, that's not how we do things." Gee Galen, in muslim countries, the simple proposition of building a Christian church will get you crucified! That doesn't seem quite fair.
So, let me get this straight. The Southern Baptist Convention with its various committees, plans to use some of the money parishioners give to their local churches in the form of tithes and offerings, not to fulfill the great commission of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but to build pagan mosques for a satanic religion that is diametrically opposed to everything Christ commanded, not to mention the constitutional liberties upon which America was founded.
Brilliant idea!
All because one township in New Jersey wisely said a resounding 'NO!' to having a mosque built in their midst? What happened to democratic principles? What happened to the people deciding what is allowed in their community? What happened to basic, common sense? What is the Southern Baptist Convention smoking these days?!
This is just wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to begin! My head hurts from the incomprehensible stupidity of these people. This is proof positive that literal agents of Lucifer have infiltrated our churches in these final days, and are diligently working to further weaken and tear down Christianity in this country.
Some of the most damaging teachings in recent years were the ridiculous emergent church movement, ala Rick Warren and his massive Saddle Back Church in California, the land of fruits and nuts. Then the uber-wicked Pope began extolling the obscene premise that Christians and Muslims worship the same God, and Chrislam was born. Pope Frances never met an imam he didn't want to French kiss.
Now, we have the evangelical church spewing some politically correct tripe that we need to support our Muslim 'brothers and sisters' in their right to worship their god, all in the name of love for religious liberty? Oh puke already! Pardon me while I lose my lunch. There isn't a Christian in this country who doesn't already support a Muslim's right to worship their false moon-god and his illegitimate, pedophile prophet, moo-hammed.
But supporting that constitutional right should NOT include assisting them to build more of their indoctrination centers in our neighborhoods. They've got plenty of money on their own, and have learned well the fine art of loudly whining until they get their way in our legal system. They don't need any more help.
As of April 2015, there were 3,186 mosques in the United States. Guess how many in the tiny state of New Jersey alone? One hundred and four. And now the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge, NJ is suing to build yet another one. Great time of day! How many Muslims are in New Jersey anyway? Do they expect to have their own individual mosques?
When asked about the dichotomy between the SBC helping to fund the construction of a building where a pagan god will be worshipped, rather than using that money to spread the Good News to the lost as Jesus commanded, Dr. Moore responded by squirting the following verbal diarrhea:
"Oh no, there's nothing to worry about there. This is America. And here in America, all religions are to be treated equally. Everyone in America has a god given right to worship false gods and build mosques, or covens, or even satanic temples. Those are the rules in America, and we have to play by those rules as good American Baptists. So, bring on the mosques!"
Excuse me? Somebody needs to fire this guy's apostate rear-end immediately! Where pray tell, is it written in the Word of God that man has a "god given right" to worship any other god besides Jehovah? For that matter, there IS no other God but Jehovah, and mankind is commanded to worship Him alone. Period. What bible is this freak reading? Precisely what is his doctorate degree in? Probably something really useful like Pre-Renaissance Cat Breeding.
The motivation of the SBC to help fund building mosques is to display some kind of perverted sense of 'love thy neighbor.' There's NOTHING 'loving' about this! If someone is contemplating suicide, do you run out and buy them a gun to show your loving support? Do you give them a handful of pills and a big glass of water? Do you push them in front of an oncoming train?
That would be absurd, right? So is building heathen temples for lost and dying souls!
If they were really interested in showing the love of God, the SBC would design and fund a well-organized effort to reach the Muslim community with the life giving message of salvation via the blood of Jesus Christ! As it is, they're doing nothing more than killing them with false kindness. The SBC is guilty of greasing the slide straight to an eternity in the Lake of Fire for these people. How dare they do such a thing!
Something really stinks with this guy—this Dr. Moore. When asked if, in the name of religious liberty, the SBC might someday help fund the construction of witch's coven facilities or a satanic temple, he smiled big and replied "Sure. Why not? This is America. And above all else, we Southern Baptists want to be good Americans."
Hate to tell you Bozo, but that most certainly is NOT what I want to be "above all else." I want to be a good and faithful servant to my Master. I want to help bring lost souls into His Kingdom. I want to speak the truth in love, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect it may be regardless of the cost.
Being a "good American" or Southern Baptist is WAY down on my list of priorities! Especially after witnessing the decline and abject moral depravity of this country as well as the apostasy of mainstream American churches. Both are ripe for God's well deserved judgment, and both will be destroyed.
My friends, please listen to me. If your church compromises with this world in any way, shape or form; if your pastor refuses to preach the whole Word of God because it might offend someone; if your church leaders and elders spend more time talking about fund raising or new buildings than repentance, the cross, the blood of Jesus and the fact that He is coming VERY soon, get out of there and don't let the doorknob hit you in the back!
If you stay, you are in danger of being caught up in the judgment to come upon the false shepherds and their sickly, blighted flocks. I highly advise you to heed what the Lord recommended. "Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." —2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV).
