GARDEN CITY, NY-- Christine Tamke-Barbara, mother of two and co-founder of Stop Common Core on Long Island (SCCLI) will not stop fighting Common Core until kids are safe and learning appropriately. "My children don't have 10 years to give to Bill Gates" experiment. March 22, 2015
Stop Common Core on Long Island was founded by a group of moms who have come together to raise awareness and take action against Common Core, having witnessed the effects that this ill-conceived and developmentally inappropriate curriculum has had on their own children both in and out of the classroom.
