which "impart energy":
In light of the recent Catholic-Buddhist Fourth Colloquium, and other joint events, http://www.indcatholicnews.com/news.php?viewStory=22584, it is not surprising that this ecumenical apostate symbiosis would confer a Catholic Imprimatur/Nihil Obstat on persons and organizations willing to adapt the paganism of Buddhism with pseudo-Christianity such as that found in the Roman Catholic Church, under the guise of some alleged common ground of mysticism and social programs.
"Catholic" Congressman Tim Ryan of Ohio describes how he was influenced by Catholic contemplative practices such as "breath prayer" and developed a "side life" of Buddhist mindfulness practices after going to a retreat given by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and before he "came out".
Now, he unashamedly spends his energies and taxpayer monies on going to other states and conferences spreading this pagan philosophy and mystical practice as a type of apologist/missionary. He says near the end that "if it hurts (him) politically, (you'll) always have the salvation of being yourself". As a Catholic, he probably knows little to nothing of salvation in Christ alone, since his church repudiated and condemned the true gospel and the five solas of the Protestant Reformation.
Romans 1:16-"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Acts 4:12-"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
On February 18 and 22, 2013, we posted three reports about Tim Ryan's interest in seeing "mindfulness", a Buddhist rooted mystical practice, in schools, the military, hospitals, among veterans, and just about anywhere. Yes, he's still at it in full force, as these videos show:
