 Beth Moore recently deleted portions of one of her past books in which she wrote about the sin of homosexuality. The Kindle version no longer includes the passage condemning sodomy as a transgression of God’s laws. As Beth Moore largely sidestepped an open letter from women asking where she stood on the issue, critics are taking her to task for her lack of clarity.

Moore, a favorite of the Evangelical Intelligentsia, has recently become a proponent of women preaching to audiences of both men and women. She has also become one of the most outspoken proponents of the Social Justice movement, espousing views belonging to Cultural Marxism and Critical Race Theory, and she also has aligned herself with the most frighteningly radical leftists in evangelicalism. Deleting parts of her book dealing with homosexuality have done little to quell the assumption that Moore’s ‘wokeness’ is now changing her views on human sexuality.

Moore’s book, in which she deleted the anti-homosexuality passage, is Praying God’s Word, published in 2009. The passage in question was on page 279 of that book.

Moore wrote a mere ten years ago…

Before we proceed to our Scripture-prayers for overcoming sexual strongholds, we are wise to address another deadly sexual assault of the evil one in our society: homosexuality. I have wonderful news for anyone who has struggled with homosexual sin. God indeed can deliver you and anxiously awaits your full cooperation. Do not let Satan shame you into not seeking forgiveness, fulness, and complete restoration in Jesus Christ. I know complete transformation is possible not only because God’s Word says so, but because I have witnessed it with my own eyes. I know plenty of believers who have been set free from homosexuality.

The passage is now ommitted from Kindle versions (the paper version is out of print).

This follows on the heels of a controversy in which, noticing Moore’s hard-left turn, a number of fellow female Bible teachers wrote an open letter asking for her to clarify her position. We wrote about that in When Pressed, Beth Moore Chooses Not to Condemn Homosexuality.

Ironically, Moore did not clarify her position, and her supporters appealed to her past writings and claimed that she had been clear in the past (as though that’s good enough). Moore is now trying to change her past words, and people have discovered the cover-up.

This section is no longer in the Kindle version of this book (yes, I bought my first Beth Moore book to confirm this). It has been removed. A few pages later 1 Cor. 6:9-11 is cited as being prayed by the reader, and the term “homosexual offenders” is still there. But the discussion of homosexuality as a “deadly sexual assault of the evil one,” “homosexual sin,” deliverance and restoration, is gone, along with Moore’s own testimony of knowing “plenty” of believers who have been set free from homosexuality! And this is purposeful.

Moore responded on Twitter, saying, “After taking 3 years to pray and to test the fruit, it became clear to me that my words in this section, words that exceeded Scripture, were stopping many from God’s words which follow. It wasn’t a doctrinal shift. When our words keep people from God’s words, we’ve overspoken.”

While Moore argues that her doctrine hasn’t changed, it rings hollow when placed against the mirror of objective reality.

White explained the problem…

I will admit, I had never heard the term “overspoken” before. But let’s think about what Mrs. Moore is saying here. To speak of homosexuality as a deadly sin is to “exceed Scripture.” To speak of deliverance and restoration from homosexual sin is to “exceed Scripture.” To claim that there have been many who have been set free from homosexuality is to “exceed Scripture.” And the source of these conclusions? “Prayer and testing fruit,” whatever that is supposed to mean (these days you can cram a lot into a line like that).

While she may wish to claim this did not involve a “doctrinal shift,” if you teach X is sin, but then conclude that X is not sin, or that to say X is sin is to “exceed Scripture,” that is a doctrinal shift, at least for those of us who still think words have meanings anyway–at least meanings that can be relied upon for more than, say, a decade at a time?

Moore, responding to David Alves, laments that her (true) words about homosexuality caused “damage” and “made people feel demonized.”

This is what has been removed from the book. So are we to understand that ALL of this is now repudiated by Mrs. Moore?

1) homosexuality is a “deadly sexual assault of the evil one in our society.”

2) God can deliver from homosexuality.

3) Satan would shame you into not seeking forgiveness, fulness [sic], and complete restoration in Jesus Christ.

4) Complete transformation is possible.

5) God’s Word says complete transformation is possible.

6) Mrs. Moore has witnessed examples of complete transformation.

7) Plenty of believers have been set free from homosexuality.

One must ask seriously if Mrs. Moore is now saying she does NOT know “plenty of believers who have been set free from homosexuality”?

Many of us have been watching as leader after leader, writer after writer, minister after minister, has walked the path of acceptance of the LGBTQ+ mantra. The pathway is well known, the words well worn.

Hundreds – if not thousands – in social media have been trying to get Beth Moore to where she stands on homosexuality. It seems, by her deletion of previous words, that they have their answer.

The mass deportation of illegal aliens is to begin on Sunday, the New York Times reported this morning, which isn’t bad news given the latest numbers published by Customs and Border Protection.

The agency’s numbers for June are out, and while they show a sharp decline from May’s typhoon of illegals that numbered nearly 145,000, the total still topped 100,000. The numbers also show that most illegals are turning up at the border in “families,” while a steady stream of “inadmissibles” is clamoring to get through ports of entry.

Since October 1 when fiscal 2019 began, border agents have apprehended more than 780,000 illegal aliens. Thus, Americans can only hope the Trump administration follows through on its promise this time.

The Latest Figures
Border agents apprehended 104,344 illegals and inadmissible aliens who entered the United States in June, CBP reported. That’s a little more than 3,478 per day. June’s figure brings the total for fiscal 2019 to 780,633.

The June figure is a 27.7 percent decline from May’s 144,273. But it’s more than the 103,723 that crossed in March.



The number of illegals that crossed between ports of entry in June was 94,897:

Family units: 57,389
Single adults: 30,130
Unaccompanied minors: 7,378

June’s flood brings the total for fiscal 2019 to 688,375:

Family units: 390,308
Single adults: 234,443
Unaccompanied minors: 63,624

The number of illegals who tried to enter at ports of entry, but were deemed inadmissible, numbered 9,447:

Family units: 3,618
Single adults: 5,455
Unaccompanied minors: 306
Accompanied minors: 68

Total inadmissibles for 2019 now number 92,258:

Family units: 37,573
Single adults: 50,439
Unaccompanied minors: 3,542
Accompanied minors: 704

The data show that most illegals are still crossing in “families,” 30 percent of which, DNA testing recently showed, proved to be fakes.

If they continued crossing at June’s rate, 3,478 per day, total crossings for the fiscal year hit 800,000 about July 5. The total will surpass nearly one million by the close of fiscal 2019 on September 30.

Deportation to Begin?
What those latest figures show is why the deportations must begin, as the Times reported they would. The raids scheduled for late last month were canceled to give Congress time to work out an immigration deal, but Trump is, apparently, ready to act.

Reported the Times:

The raids, which will be conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement over multiple days, will include “collateral” deportations, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the preliminary stage of the operation. In those deportations, the authorities might detain immigrants who happened to be on the scene, even though they were not targets of the raids.

Raids will target 2,000 illegals in 10 cities with orders to leave the country, the Times reported. Some of those were ordered out because they failed to show up for court hearings on their status. About 90 percent of such families do, indeed, fail to show for those proceedings, as The New American has reported.

“The families being targeted crossed the border recently,” the Times reported. “The Trump administration expedited their immigration proceedings last fall. In February, many of those immigrants were given notice to report to an ICE office and leave the United States.”

The Times also explains how the illegals can avoid deportation: by simply refusing to answer the door when ICE agents knock. ICE agents can’t enter a home by force, which illegals now know thanks to the Times. Not that leftist, open-borders immigration activists and lawyers haven’t told them, too

And those lawyers, the Times reported, “are likely to file motions to reopen the families’ immigration cases, which would significantly delay, if not stop altogether, their removal from the United States.”

ICE deports about 7,000 illegals a month, TNA reported in June when the Trump administration announced the raids that were to begin on June 23. But about one million illegals have orders to leave.

The latest evidence is the decision by the San Francisco Board of Education to paint over a 13-panel mural of scenes from George Washington’s life at George Washington High School, because of the “violent” and “degrading” imagery (“San Francisco school board votes to paint over,” Washington Post, June 28, 2019). One panel shows frontiersmen standing by the dead body of a Native American, while another shows Washington at Mount Vernon among his slaves. The painting simply depicts the reality of America in the 18th century, which was far from perfect but also far more committed to human rights than any other nation at that time! The Leftist elites and their pop culture minions who are trashing the Founding Fathers are ignorant of history, as well as hateful of the Bible upon which America was founded, which is the fundamental issue. America’s Founding Fathers were not perfect. There was only one Perfect Man in human history. But the Founding Fathers were ground-breaking pioneers in human rights. What other nation in the 18th century did better? What other nation produced a Bill of Rights like America’s? What other nation fought a terrible Civil War to finally bring those rights to all citizens? There was widespread opposition to slavery from the time of the founding of the American colonies, and many of the Founding Fathers were opponents, but abolition became a groundswell movement during the Second Great Awakening, both in America and England. It was the Bible that taught the British and the Americans to renounce slavery. The culmination in America was the Civil War of 1860-65. The Democratic Party was the party of Southern slavery. The Republican Party was founded in 1856 as a coalition of political groups opposing slavery, and Abraham Lincoln, elected in 1860, was the first Republican Party president. Eleven Democrat-controlled states seceded from the Union following his election. It was a Republican president who issued the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, and it was a Republican-controlled Congress that passed the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolishing slavery in 1865. What great nation have the Leftist elites built? What great nation has Atheism built? What great nation has Darwinian evolution built? What great nation have pop stars, Hollywood entertainers, and professional football players built? They build nothing; they only tear down; and even little children can destroy what wise men build. 

GEORGE WASHINGTON AND SLAVERY (Friday Church News Notes, July 12, 2019, www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - George Washington, Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and America’s first President, inherited slaves and would have freed them, but he was forbidden by Virginia law to do so. At great personal cost, he vowed that he would not sell any of his slaves even though he could have benefited financially from doing so. At a time when he was struggling financially, the sale of just one slave would have brought him enough income to pay his estate taxes for two years, but he refused. He also refused to hire out his slaves, because he did not want to break up their families. He said, “To sell the overplus I cannot, because I am principled against this kind of traffic in the human species. To hire them out is almost as bad because they could not be disposed of in families to any advantage, and to disperse [break up] the families I have an aversion” (Washington letter to Robert Lewis, Aug. 18, 1799, Washington’s Writings, 1980, Vol. 37, p. 338). Washington was instrumental in having a federal law passed in the first year of his presidency (1789) prohibiting slavery in the new American territories. As a result, the new states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin all prohibited slavery. Daniel Webster described Washington’s efforts to abolish slavery in America: “Soon after the adoption of the Constitution, it was declared by George Washington to be ‘among his first wishes to see some plan adopted by which slavery might be abolished by law’; and in various forms in public and private communications, he avowed his anxious desire that ‘a spirit of humanity,’ prompting to ‘the emancipation of the slaves,’ ‘might diffuse itself generally into the minds of the people;’ and he gave the assurance, that ‘so far as his own suffrage would go,’ his influence should not be wanting to accomplish this result” (Webster, “Address to the People of the United States, ... to Lift Our Public Sentiment to a New Platform of Anti-slavery,” Jan. 29, 1845). In 1837, he said that the nation’s founders were opposed to slavery. “The inconsistency of the institution of domestic slavery with the principles of theDeclaration of Independence was seen and lamented by all the southern patriots of the Revolution; by no one with deeper and more unalterable conviction than by the author of the Declaration himself [Thomas Jefferson]. No charge of insincerity or hypocrisy can be fairly laid to their charge. Never from their lips was heard one syllable of attempt to justify the institution of slavery. They universally considered it as a reproach fastened upon them by the unnatural step-mother country [Great Britain] and they saw that before the principles of the Declaration of Independence, slavery--in common with every other mode of oppression--was destined sooner or later to be banished from the earth” (“An Oration Delivered Before the Inhabitants of the Town of Newburyport, at Their request, on the Sixty-first Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence,” July 4, 1837).OTHER FOUNDING FATHERS AND SLAVERY (Friday Church News Notes, July 12, 2019, www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - BENJAMIN FRANKLIN owned slaves, but he became an abolitionist later in life and liberated his slaves. He was the president of the Society for Promoting the Abolition of Slavery and the Relief of Negroes Unlawfully Held in Bondage. He promoted the idea of educating former slaves and helping them find employment so they could fend for themselves. JOHN DICKINSON was a member of the First and Second Continental Congress and worked with Thomas Jefferson in writing the Declaration of Independence. He was an officer during the War of Independence. He was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and was elected President of Delaware and President of Pennsylvania. Dickinson is the author of “The Liberty Song” (1768). The original chorus said, “Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all, By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall; In so righteous a cause let us hope to succeed, For heaven approves of each generous deed.” Dickinson became an abolitionist and freed his slaves in 1776. He devoted his final years to the cause of abolition and donated a considerable amount of his wealth “to the relief of the unhappy.”BENJAMIN RUSH, signer of the Declaration of Independence, denounced slavery in his tract On Slave Keeping (1773). He called it a “vice which degrades human nature.” He called on Americans to oppose it. “Remember the eyes of all Europe are fixed upon you, to preserve an asylum for freedom in this country after the last pillars of it are fallen in every other quarter of the globe.” John Jay, first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court (1789-95), author of five of the Federalist Papers, and Governor of New York, was a leading opponent of slavery. “His first two attempts to end slavery in New York in 1777 and 1785 failed, but a third in 1799 succeeded.” All slaves in New York were emancipated before his death in 1829. NOAH WEBSTER, who had a major influence on the U.S. Constitution through his 1787 essay An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, called for slavery to be abolished in the United States. He founded an antislavery group called the Connecticut Society for the Promotion of Freedom. His influential Blue-Back Speller included an essay by Thomas Day calling for the abolition of slavery. Day argued that this was in accordance with the nation’sDeclaration of Independence. He warned Americans that consistency required that they either acknowledge the rights of the Negroes or surrender their own rights.

And judging by Facebook’s treatment of foes of jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others, they are likely to find themselves on the “Dangerous Individuals” list. This new policy incites the violent and hateful among Facebook’s 2 billion users to threaten to kill people whose points of view dissent from the Leftist agenda.

Facebook has issued a new policy update saying it’s acceptable to post death threats and incite violence against me, despite this being a crime in the United Kingdom.

No, I’m not joking.

A Community Standards update published by Facebook states (emphasis mine); “Do not post: Threats that could lead to death (and other forms of high-severity violence) of any target(s) where threat is defined as any of the following:

Statements of intent to commit high-severity violence; or

Calls for high-severity violence (unless the target is an organization or individual covered in the Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy)….”



Back in May, Facebook and Instagram banned me under the justification that I was a “dangerous individual”. They provided no evidence whatsoever that I had behaved in a “dangerous” manner or violated any of their policies.

Facebook has designated me a “dangerous individual” and now says it’s acceptable for its users to issue death threats against me.

This is a crime in the United Kingdom under the 1988 Malicious Communications Actwhich states, “Any person who sends to another person a letter, electronic communication or article of any description which conveys….a threat….is guilty of an offence.”

The largest social media company in the world with over 2 billion users literally says its fine to incite violence against me, despite this being illegal.

They are painting a target on my back.

Innumerable individuals have already sent death threats to me via Facebook….
