In July 2012, Perez — then the assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, was asked by Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ):
Will you tell us here today that this administration’s
Department of Justice will never entertain or advance a proposal that
criminalizes speech against any religion?
Perez could have simply answered yes, and maybe even cited the First
Amendment. Instead, Perez refused to answer the question directly.
Franks persisted, ultimately asking it four times.
Perez at one point responded that it was a “hard question.” He simply
refused to affirm that the Obama Justice Department would not attempt
to criminalize criticism of Islam. So this was the choice for Democrats: a Congressman with many
connections to an organization dedicated in its own words to
“eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within” or a foe
of the First Amendment right to the freedom of speech. The foe of the
freedom of speech won.
That’s today’s Democratic Party.

Former Secretary of Labor Tom Perez has been elected the
next chair of the Democratic National Committee, grabbing the reins of
the political wing of the party and emerging as a key figure in the
party’s opposition to President Donald Trump’s agenda.
More than 400 party insiders gathered in Atlanta this weekend to cast
their ballots. The former Obama appointee will try to rally the party
of Democrats still reeling from its presidential election defeat and
crippled by down-ballot losses across the country over the last decade.
Many in the party’s progressive wing had rallied around Minnesota
Rep. Keith Ellison, expressing their frustration with the status quo of
the party. They felt strongly that Ellison better identified with the
grassroots movement growing across the country in opposition to Trump.
Perez had fallen one short shy of victory in the first round of voting.
“We need a chair who can not only take the fight to Donald Trump,
make sure we talk about our positive message,” Perez told the crowd
before the vote. “We also need a chair who can lead turnaround and
change the culture of the Democratic Party and DNC.”
The next chair will be key in trying to unify and rally a party still
reeling from its presidential election defeat and crippled by
down-ballot losses across the country over the last decade.
“We’re in this mess because we lost not one election but a thousand
elections,” Ellison said before the vote. “We gotta go to the
grassroots, ya’ll. Unity is essential. We gotta walk out of here with

Matt Chandler’s Village Church and the American Left: Giving Leftist-Islamic Groups a Foothold in the Church The conservative movement, and more importantly the conservative
evangelical church, is being undermined and compromised by well-known
evangelical leaders. Men, such as Matt Chandler, are accommodating and
participating in interfaith dialogues with groups who share ties to
radical Islam. It is no longer leftists in this country finding friends
only within organizations of the religious left. Today the agenda of the
American left has also found a home within the mainstream leadership of
the conservative, evangelical church.
Pastoring one of the largest churches in Dallas, The Village Church, Matt Chandler currently serves as president of the ACTS 29 network, and he is also on the leadership council
of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), the
public-policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention. (The current
president of Ethics & Religious Liberty is Russell Moore, who has
recently been embroiled in a battle over his organization’s decision to
file an amicus brief on behalf of a Muslim group attempting to build a
mosque in New Jersey.)
In addition, Chandler is a popular speaker at Christian conferences
across the country. Therefore, his far-reaching influence among
conservative Christians cannot be underestimated. In response to the growing interfaith movement between Muslims and
Christians, Shahram Hadian, an Iranian Muslim convert to Christianity says
Christians are being played like a fiddle.They are either naïve or
deceived. He is now a Christian pastor who recognizes the dangers of
blending Islam and Christianity. Taking a close look at the activities and the alliances being formed,
it is clear that this is not about Christian evangelism. To the
contrary, it is about the conservative Christian church being seduced by
those who practice Islam, a false religion. While the followers of
Allah join with Christians in interfaith campaigns, Christian
participants continue to ignore Scriptural warning against it.
Consequently, those who in the past may have been considered
conservative Christian leaders are being robbed of spiritual alertness
and discernment.
Furthermore, it is too serious to ignore the dangerous mixed messages
Chandler’s church is currently sending, and, as we have learned from
Mark Driscoll, former president of ACTS 29, there can be two sides to a ministry: one side that speaks the truth while the other side undermines and perverts it.
Therefore, as we will see in the case of Matt Chandler and the
ministries he supports, two radical Islamic groups have been involved
with ACTS 29 leaders, and even most recently within Chandler’s own
church. Collaborating behind the scene are CAIR, the Council on American
Islamic Relations and ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America–two
groups very involved in Christian/Muslim bridge-building projects.
It is well documented that both CAIR and ISNA were founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their objectives in America have been declared; destroy our society from within.
Per Jamie Glazov, the managing editor of FrontPage magazine, they
“manipulate and exploit dialogue with us as a weapon to weaken and
destroy us…a tactic found in Muslim Brotherhood documents.” Furthermore,
Glazov warns, “ISNA,…was an unindicted co-conspirator in the federal
prosecution of the Hamas-funding Holy Land Foundation. It was listed in a
Muslim Brotherhood memorandum as one of ‘our organizations and the
organizations of our friends.’ Based on its long record of advancing the
Islamist worldviews, ISNA has been described as ‘one of the chief
conduits through which the radical Saudi form of Islam passes into the
United States.”
Therefore, it is alarming that on November 2, 2016, two pastors on
staff at The Village Church, including the director of The Village
Church’s SEEK THE PEACE spoke and showed their support at an event
co-sponsored by ISNA, the Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign and FFEU, the
Foundation for Ethnic Understanding. (Russel Simmons is the chairman of http://www.ffeu.org/
) The meeting was held at the Islamic Center of Frisco and as stated by
FFEU, participants publicly signed the Religious Freedom Pledge, which
was launched in 2016 at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.
The pledge commits leaders to “uphold and defend the freedom of
conscience of all individuals by rejecting and speaking out, without
reservation, against bigotry discrimination, harassment, and violence
based on religion or belief.”
Furthermore, per FFEU, the endorsers of the pledge will “call on
public officials to uphold these same values, particularly in this
season of heightened anti-Muslim rhetoric and hate crimes.”
Additionally, an Imam said that by coming together at the Fresco mosque
just days before the election, the participants were making the case
that we “will not allow the poisonous political discourse penetrate our
communities. WHEN WE JOIN TOGETHER LIKE THIS, IT IS AN ACT OF RESISTANCE.”
Village staff pastors participating were Pastor Richard Brindley and Pastor Kyle Worley, and a Village Church layman, Jason Clarke, who is the director of SEEK THE PEACE, a group financially, supported by The Village Church. (source) Clarke shows his partnership with The Village Church. Seek the Peace is also actively involved in the liberal politics of
the resettling of Syrian refugees into the country. On January 20, 2016,
a posting from “We Welcome Refugees” was on Seek the Peace’s Facebook page
calling on followers to stop a bill in the Senate, which they said
would “grind to a halt the resettlement of Syrian and Iraqi refugees.”
Their stated position was to increase in the coming year the number of
refugees to 200,000 (including 100,000 to be Syrians refugees) to be
admitted to the U.S. Then to fit the liberal narrative, The Village Church has also bought
into the social justice language of the old social gospel describing
Jesus as a Refugee. (source) In addition, they further this agenda by linking from their church site to the International Rescue Committee. The President and Chief Executive Officer is David Miliband. Miliband is currently running for a top United Nation’s development job and he has also been an outspoken critic of the Brexit movement,
and conservative/Trump efforts to protect American borders. The
following article reflects his political support of global and
“international order.” It has been reported he had been tipped for a senior job in a Hillary Clinton administration if she had won the US presidential election.
The politics of International Rescue Committee is clearly
fighting against conservative Republicans and the Trump administration’s
temporary ban of immigrants entering the country. Consequently, one
would be negligent in not asking why Matt Chandler and his church
ministries are validating and accommodating groups working against the
efforts of conservative Christians? (Listed overseers of the
International Rescue Committee include: Madeleine Albright, Henry
Kissinger, Colin Powell, Rhonda Weingarten, President of American
Federation of Teachers.) (source, source) Another internally very connected group to The Village Church is Peace Catalyst International.
This group has is not only linked to online from Village Church
sites but also the profile of Peace Catalyst staff member, Sarah Long,
shows she is also on staff
at Chandler’s Village Church. Long’s active involvement in setting the
tone of a liberal, politically correct agenda within the church is
evident in her article titledEngaging Muslims. Per her article following her mosque-speaking experience where she
presented her stand against so-called discrimination, hate crimes, and
oppression, Ms. Long provided clear instructions on how Christians must
stand against the rise of “Islamophobia.” Usage of this liberal term by
Sarah Long is telling because it is a term created by the left to
silence and intimidate anyone that disagrees or interferes with their
political position. Ms. Long’s rules of engagement included “visit your local mosque,…Be
sensitive to where the Christian West has failed to look like Jesus,
…Talk about Jesus but carry no agenda, … Don’t criticize Muhammad, the
Qur’an, or anything about the Islamic faith, …We must be more committed
to our relationships than to be right. We must push back against the
hateful rhetoric being spoken about all Muslims.” Then, listed under her
“Recommended resources” are “Seek the Peace,” and “Peace Catalyst International.”
Matt Chandler’s alliance with Peace Catalyst presents another
question regarding with whom he is willing to accommodate and associate.
As we will see further on in this paper, from all outward appearances,
Peace Catalyst has a track record of partnering with left leaning or any
Muslim group regardless of their track record. Furthermore, the
sentiment and heart of this group can be seen in the words of their organization’s president Rick Love. Responding to concerns raised due to Love’s support of A Common Word Between Us and You, a letter from Islamic leaders to Christian leaders, he defended his position and said, “I do not hesitate to refer to the God of the Bible as Allah, since Arab Christians before and after the birth of Islam use the term Allah
to describe the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Moreover, he
also said, “I believe that Muslims worship the true God.” Rick Love’s faulty doctrine
sums up why Muslim leaders and “Christians” were quick to join arms in
fellowship. The “Christians” were not discerning and too eager to find
common ground. They didn’t even get to first base before they had
already weakened the Christian faith. Consequently, we now have CAIR and
ISNA within the church.
This careless willingness to ignore the truth and overlook the
background and character of those in our fellowship is putting us also
in the path of others who are even more reckless. For example, while
Rick Love sports his Christian credentials, he is also courting and
validating those who do not share what he says he claims to believe.
As the president of Peace Catalyst, Rick Love is also on the advisory board of the organizationCharity and Security Network,
a group funding by groups such as George Soros’ Open Society, the
United Muslim Relief and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Others
on this advisory board include the Alliance for Peacebuilding and the
ACLU. The Charity and Security Network states that since U.S. law makes
it a crime to conduct almost any transaction with a terrorist group, it
is restricting “peace building groups to train terrorist groups on how to
use nonviolent means to address their grievances.” What are they
saying? Are we to trust them to bring peace to the Middle East?

The groundwork for much of this had been laid many years before. For
example, Matt Chandler announced in an interview with John Piper on the
topic of “Social Justice” that a layman in his church had started an
organization called Free City International. Chandler stated the goal of
this group was to serve as a HUB for the Middle Eastern culture in
Dallas. (As stated on its current website, the group was founded in 2008 but the name was changed to SEEK THE PEACE.)

In addition to the forming of Free City International, ACTS 29 leaders already had their fingers involved in the interfaith movement. In 2010, ACTS 29 showed their willingness to dialogue with CAIR when an ACTS 29
church invited members of CAIR to a church in Renton, Washington.
Reports included the participating Muslims were even allowed the call to
prayer within the walls of this “Christian” church. WorldnetDaily was on top of this story with one of their headlines stating:
“Christian question: ‘Interfaith dialogue’ or ‘useful idiots’? Growing
trend to meet with Muslims rings bells of alarm for some.” (Hear the audio from the Muslim/Christian dialog here)
The response from CAIR to this March 27, 2010, event can be summed up
by Imam Mohamad Joban. Commenting on their success, he stated, “What
happened this past Saturday night at Harambee Church was a bounty of our
Lord. …It was a combination of thoughtful preparation, generous efforts
by the organizers, and our trust in Allah.” (source)
The Pastor of Harambee Church at the time was Mike Gunn, co-founder of Mark Driscoll’s Seattle Mars Hill Church. Gunn has also served as the acting director of ACTS 29
International. In his lengthy rebuttal to the concerns raised regarding
his accommodation of CAIR, he stated whether or not CAIR has ties to
Hamas “is irrelevant.” Gunn also accused those who disagreed as showing a “…kind of legalistic nonsense.”
However, it appears the major organizer of the Harambee interfaith
event was Michael Ly, co-pastor of Harambee Church. A CAIR news release
also described him as “Vice president of Peace Catalyst International.”
Ly’s name is also given by CAIR as a contact person for other interfaith
endeavors.
Accord to a Seattle Times article 9/7/2010,
Ly’s next big project was to work with CAIR to organize a dinner
inviting 20 imams and other Muslim leaders, and 20 pastors and other
Christian leaders “mainly from conservative evangelical churches.”
Ly may have left the Seattle area but his activities and influence
have indeed expanded as he is now listed as not only the co-founder of
Peace Catalyst International, but he also serves on staff. Matt Chandler and other Evangelical leaders going down this road are
not protecting the Church or the country. Their hospitality is being
taken advantage of to advance a liberal, leftist cause. In the process,
they are neutralizing and watering down the clarity of the gospel
message and undermining efforts to keep our nation safe.
This is not the time for a lack of courage or compromising men. Yet,
now, they appear to be the ones given the strongest voice and platform.
We are fighting against an evangelical establishment that in many ways
may be just as strong as the entrenched Republican Party establishment.
Both battles will not be for the weak at heart.
As believers, it is one thing to show the love of God and share the
gospel with Muslim neighbors. But, it is an entirely different business
to work with and corroborate with false teachers or with those who are
hell bent on the destruction of Western civilization.
Contrary to comments made by the leader of Peace Catalyst suggesting
Christians and Muslims pray to the same God, he is wrong. Scripture
states, “Whoever…does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have
God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the
Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receivehim into your house…” 2 John 9-11.
In other words, hospitality and love must be discerning. Otherwise,
Christians may aid those who are attempting to destroy basic truths of
the faith.
I am reminded of the wisdom of a godly man who warned the church:
“Follow discerning leaders.” However, it is obvious that today far too
many of our “Christian leaders” are ignoring the warning.
Regardless of the motives of Matt Chandler and other like-minded men,
the consequences of their leadership are the same. They have been
careless in not protecting the Church and thus, the conservative
evangelical church is being attacked from within.
George Soros understands the importance of using the church to
implement his aggressive refugee resettlement program throughout Europe
and the west. He wrote in the World Economic Forum September 28, 2015,
where I found linked to from SEEK THE PEACE blog:

The
very title of this article should worry all of us. The newly appointed
National Security Adviser thinks the term, “radical Islamic terrorism”
is not beneficial because terrorists are “un-Islamic.”
Peter
R. Mansoor, a retired Army colonel who served with McMaster in Iraq during
the 2007 surge of U.S. troops, said earlier that McMaster “absolutely
does not view Islam as the enemy. So, I think he will present a degree
of pushback against the theories being propounded in the White House that
this is a clash of civilizations and needs to be treated as such.”
“McMaster,
like (President) Obama, is someone who was in positions of leadership
and thought the United states should not play into the jihadist propaganda
that this is a religious war,” William McCants, a senior fellow
at the Brookings Institution, told The Times. [Link],

President
Trump repeatedly slammed President Obama and Democratic rival Hillary
Clinton for avoiding explicitly saying "radical Islamic terrorism."
Trump argued that not identifying enemies hinders the fight against terror,
while Democrats argue that such words unfairly link Islam with terrorism.
Trump
was right, and so was General Flynn. So, who vetted McMaster, and who
is advising our President, and it’s even more worrisome that Senator
McCain is thrilled with Trump’s latest choice.
McCain
Lauds McMaster for NSA
When
Trump selected General H.R. McMaster to be his National Security Advisor,
most folks breathed a sigh of relief that CFR member, John Bolton wasn’t
chosen, but that relief may have been premature.
General
McMaster, like his supporters, Senator McCain, and Moscow born, Max
Boot, the Jeanne J. Kirkpatrick Senior Fellow in National Security
Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, are all members
of the CFR.
Sen.
McCain, who in Munich, stated his not-so-subtle attacks on Trump for not
being harder on Russia, said that, “McMaster knows how to succeed.
I give President Trump great credit for this decision, as well as his
national security cabinet choices. I could not imagine a better, more
capable national security team than the one we have right now.”
Max
Boot stated much the same thing, “H.R. McMaster is one of the most
impressive army officers of his generation—a rare combination of
soldier and scholar,” said Max Boot, in an email to The Daily Beast.
“But not even the most talented individual will succeed in that
job as long as Bannon and Kushner continue to run their own foreign policies.”
Apparently,
McMaster is not the man to guide President Trump toward better relations
with Russia and less US interference in the internal affairs of other
nations, as was former NSA Chief, General Michael Flynn.
In a
speech delivered
at the Center for Strategic and International Studies just last May, Gen.
McMaster blamed the lack of sufficient US military presence overseas for
what he calls a more aggressive Russian geo-strategic posturing. Take note
of what the General said:
Even
though it may have been apparent, at least since 2008, that Russia was
changing its geo-strategic behavior and engaging in…probing, probing
at the far reaches of American power, our strategic response was to
accelerate our withdrawal of…army forces from Europe. And what
we’re seeing now is we’ve awakened to obviously this threat
from Russia who is waging limited war for limited objectives. Annexing
Crimea. Invading Ukraine. At zero cost. And consolidating gains over
that territory, and portraying the reaction by us and partners as escalatory.
… What is required is forward deterrence. To be able to ratchet
up the cost at the frontier.
The
General also made the completely fallacious assertion that Russia invaded
Georgia in 2008. Even the overtly anti-Russia European Union concluded
that Georgia was to blame for launching an ill-advised attack on Russian
peacekeeping forces that were part of an international mission in South
Ossetia.
This
certainly doesn’t sound like someone who is going to work to help
our President improve relations with Russia. In fact, McMaster is a hawk
and is all
about conflict with Russia. Is it any wonder that the likes of Max
Boot and John McCain are thrilled with Trump’s new NSA Chief?
McCain’s
Long Feud with Trump
The
Bezos owned Washington Post reported that Trump had stated, “McCain
is no war hero,” but they misled the people by misstating what Trump
had actually said, as clarified
by Sharyl Attkisson. Nothing new here, misquotes and lies are a common
thread of media since the 1964
NYTs v. Sullivan Supreme Court decision allowing media to lie with
impunity. And this is the reality of what Trump calls, “fake news.”
Remember
too that in September of 2016, Trump endorsed John McCain for re-election
and said nice things about him.
So,
what’s with the Senator from Arizona?
The
Real John McCain
He served
our country, and we do not know what he went through as a POW, so we honor
him for his service.
However,
the truth of the matter is that despite McCain’s military service,
he has never been a man of or for the American people, and the “R”
he wears behind his name more often than not comes across as a “D.”
In fact,
last October, this alleged Republican stated that he would not be voting
for Donald Trump, the nominee from his own party! So, who did he vote
for…Hillary?
Trump
did state that McCain graduated at the bottom of his class, and he was
right. Even McCain alluded
to his academic record during a commencement speech in 1997 when he
stated, “This is quite an unexpected honor for a Naval Academy midshipman
who graduated fifth from the bottom in the Class of ’58.”
He actually graduated 790th out of 795 students.
There
are countless stories on the web of McCain’s actual service and
his actual imprisonment by the Vietcong, but there is one
by Philip Giraldi that elucidates truth. He tells of Pulitzer Prize
winning journalist Sydney Schanberg, who was intrigued by the Vietnam
POW issue, and began pursuing the McCain story in the late 1980s.
Schanberg
makes two key points: first that a number of American prisoners of war
were left behind in Indochina in 1973 with the connivance of top levels
in the U.S. government (See
Henry Kissinger, Soviet Agent), and second that John McCain has worked
assiduously to obstruct any efforts to open Pentagon files and follow
up on leads to determine the status of the POWs and the “missing
in action.”
John
McCain is still a powerful voice in the Senate consistently advocating
policies calling for the United States to use military force around the
world. More troubling perhaps, McCain has consistently and irrationally
advocated an undeviating hard line against Russia, the only country with
the military capability to confront and destroy much of the United States
through its nuclear armed ballistic missile forces. Perhaps this is why
he is so enamored with General McMaster, and why he so hated General Flynn.
McCain’s
Voting Record
Conservative
Review grants McCain an “F” with a 48
percent rating, calling out McCain for an extensive 32-year entrenchment
in Washington. CR Editor, Gaston Mooney, said, “McCain’s consistent
support for gun control, cap and trade, amnesty, and tax increases have
put him at odds with just about every coalition inside the Republican
Party. McCain pandered to the right in 2008, and he
did it again to be re-elected in 2016.
“There
are few Republicans who have betrayed our conservative principles more
than John McCain,” read the Senate Conservatives Fund letter. “McCain
lost his way a long time ago.”
The
Senator has also been criticized for his part in the “Gang of Eight”
immigration reform and his support for amnesty, his vote for the taxpayer
funded “Wall Street” bailout, his vote to fund implementation
of Obamacare and criticism of efforts to halt that funding, opposition
to a $1.3 trillion tax cut, support for a $600 billion tax hike, repeated
votes to raise the debt limit and voting against term limits.
Mincing
no words, the Senate Conservatives’ letter refers to McCain as “one
of the most anti-conservative RINOs in the Senate.”
McCain’s
Munich Conference Comments
What
kind of American is John McCain? He’s certainly not one who represents
the Constitution he took an oath to uphold.
McCain
apparently had no problem bashing our President in foreign countries recently.
Why didn’t McCain honor the tradition of standing for America in
foreign countries? He has embarrassed our nation, and himself, just as
Obama did over and over again.
Here
is the transcript of McCain’s speech in Munich. Without mentioning
President Trump even once, he ridiculed and slammed his policies, his
presidency, and his abilities. In doing so, McCain also slammed every
American who voted for Trump and wants his policies to succeed.
But
what I found the most telling was his comment, “I refuse to accept
the demise of our world order.” He actually mentioned “world
order” five times in his short Munich speech. What world order John?

McCain
on Meet the Press
On Sunday,
during an interview with Chuck Todd, the senator again talked about the
“new world order” established after World War II, and how
he is fearful it is under assault from a variety of forces. (Does this
remind you of George
H.W. Bush’s 1991 NWO speech?)
He also
claimed to be worried about presidential advisor Steve Bannon’s
role on the National Security Council. Then he attacked Trump by saying,
“A free press is vital and suppressing a free press is “how
dictators get started.”
His
comments were ridiculous. My friend Vin Sabella said this:
First,
he claimed that the president was destroying freedom of the press. Then
he said that’s what all dictators do to gain power. Then he said
he didn’t mean that Trump was trying to be a dictator.
And,
if that’s true, Senator, why did you bring up the fact that you
thought Trump was muzzling the press and say that that is what dictators
do in the same breath? I think the answer is obvious. You wanted to
call Trump a potential dictator and be able to weasel your way out of
having done so if you were called on it.
As
Rand Paul said, McCain is deliberately blowing Trump’s criticism
of the press out of proportion. Every president has criticized the press
throughout history. But, as Paul says, there is a big difference between
criticizing the press and passing a law or issuing an executive order
to suppress the press. Trump has obviously done neither.
MSNBC’s
Mika Brzezinski, (daughter of Zbignew Brzezinski) recently made it clear
that she
believes it is the media’s job to control what people think.
Really Mika? One need only watch Chris Cuomo or Van Jones to understand
their propaganda and socialist/communist allegiances.
White
House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that if President Donald
Trump’s newly appointed national security adviser wanted to remove
chief strategist Steve Bannon from the National Security Council’s
principals committee, the president would “take that under serious
consideration.”
“The
president has made clear to him he’s got full authority to structure
the national security team the way he wants,” Spicer said of Lt.
Gen. H.R. McMaster, whom Trump appointed last Monday as his new NSA
chief. Spicer made the remarks in the daily White House press briefing.
Does
this worry me? You bet it does. Bannon is one of the most trusted insiders
and as such, he should remain exactly where he is for our President.

group of protesters in Minneapolis that “Black people do not live under a

Ellison, the nation’s first Muslim congressman, has come under fire
for his history of making racially inflammatory comments, as well as his
past association with notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, whom

Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the
leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically
have authority to do whatever he wanted.”

President Trump has chosen Lt. General William McMaster as his new
National Security Adviser. As a three-star general, McMaster’s
appointment will require Senate confirmation,
and one hopes that the Senators before they vote will take the
opportunity to examine his understanding of Islamic terrorism. For
surely this is the greatest threat not only to American security, but to
that of the entire West. General McMaster has pronounced on the subject of Islamic terrorism
twice in the last year, in almost identical language, and what he said
suggests that he has missed something important about the ideology of
Islam.
In May 2016, in a speech
he delivered on “Harbingers of Future War: Implications for the Army”
at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, General McMaster
referred to “groups like ISIL, who use this irreligious
ideology, this perverted interpretation of religion to justify violence.
They depend on ignorance, and the ability to recruit vulnerable
segments of populations to foment hatred, and then use that hatred to
justify violence against innocents.”
Apparently well-satisfied with his original formulation, General
McMaster repeated it, almost verbatim, in a speech to the Center for
Leadership and Excellence at the Virginia Military Institute on November
21, 2016, ringingly declaring that “we will defeat today’s enemies,
including terrorist organizations like Daesh, who cynically use a perverted interpretation of religion to incite hatred and justify horrific cruelty against innocents.”
This description of Daesh – the Islamic State – as “cynically using
a perverted interpretation of religion to incite hatred and justify
horrific cruelty against innocents” is most peculiar. For whatever else
you can say about Daesh or other Muslim terrorists, the adverb
“cynically” is the least applicable to their actions. Al-Baghdadi,
Al-Awlaki, Bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri, Nidal Hasan. Omar Mateen, Adam
Gadahn, Aafia Siddiqui, Saïd and Chérif Kouachi, and all the other stars
in the terrorist firmament have not been cynics, but rather, the
reverse — the truest of true believers. And what they truly believe(d)
in is what Islam’s texts inculcate, including the view of non-Muslims as
cosmically ungrateful (in not accepting the message of Muhammad), their
“vileness” Qur’anically established (8:55; 98:6), their continued
insubmissive existence as kuffar seen as a colossal affront to Islam. Muslims have a duty to spread Islam by means of Jihad, which
overwhelmingly means the use of violence, though it can be conducted
through other means – as, for example, Jihad of the Pen/Tongue, to
spread Islam’s message. Today, along with violence, a new instrument –
demographic conquest – is being used to overwhelm the Infidels and
spread Islam. “New” because never before in history have millions of
people dedicated to the longterm destruction of others been allowed by
those others to settle deep behind what ought be regarded as enemy
lines, as Muslims have now been allowed to settle throughout Western
Europe. If Muslim numbers do surpass those of the indigenous
non-Muslims, Muslims will be in a position to offer non-Muslims a
choice: either to convert to Islam, or be killed, or to accept the
permanent status of dhimmi, with all of its attendant disabilities. And
there is no end to Jihad; it should continue until the whole world is
ultimately subjected to Islam. There is nothing – pace General McMaster — “cynical” about any of this.
As for those phrases repeated by General McMaster about this
“perverse interpretation of religion [used] to justify violence” which
becomes, in his longer variant, a “perverted interpretation of religion
to incite hatred and justify horrific cruelty against innocents,” the
only “perverted interpretation” of Islam is, I’m afraid, that of General
McMaster himself, who appears certain that Islam properly understood
cannot possibly inculcate anything that might “incite hatred and justify
violence” against non-Muslims. I’m not sure which would be worse: that
he may think he must pretend to believe this nonsense in order to avoid
being accused of Islamophobia and to safely rise high in the Washington
ranks, or that he really believes it.
Perhaps before they vote, some Senators will press him on this,
trying to find out what McMaster thinks Islam, mainstream Islam, teaches
and how it differs from that “perverse interpretation” to which he
keeps referring. The exchange ought to be instructive. For example, the
Senators might ask him, while reporters are present and cameras
whirring, what he remembers from the Qur’an on the subject of Infidels.
What, a probing Senator might ask him, under the guise of refreshing his
memory, does he make of Qur’an 98:6, describing Infidels as “the vilest
of creatures”? Would he regard it as a “perverse interpretation” of
that verse to think it inculcates hatred toward non-Muslims, or isn’t it
in fact clear in its declaration of such hatred, and should he not be
willing to recognize that this is a perfectly straightforward, if
disturbing statement, with no “perverse interpretation” necessary?
Or take the famous Verse of the Sword, Qur’an 9:5: “When the sacred
months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them,
besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and
take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God
is forgiving and merciful.” What “perverse interpretation” of this
pellucid call to violent Jihad is needed to make this verse “incite
hatred”? It’s dripping with murderous hatred already. The Senators could
continue to quote from the more than one hundred Jihad verses in the
Qur’an or stories from the Hadith, that is, verses that exhort the
killing of Infidels. Or they might read out, and ask for General
McMaster to comment on, the description of the mass killings of the
600-900 bound prisoners of the Banu Qurayza, by Muhammad and his
followers, or the accounts of the pleasure Muhammad (“al-insan al-kamil,”
the Perfect Man, and “uswa hasana,” the Model of Conduct) took in
learning of the murders of those who mocked him (Asma bint Marwan, Abu
Afak), or the descriptions of the many military campaigns he took part
in not only against his sworn enemies, but simply against those who,
like the inoffensive Jewish farmers of the Khaybar Oasis, were known to
be prosperous. For the Khaybar farmers had not been fighting against
Muhammad; they were a target for this covetous warlord simply because
they were both well-off and ill-defended. The Khaybar attack gives the
lie to the Muslim claim that Muhammad only fought defensive wars.
Muhammad and his men despoiled the Khaybar farmers, who had done nothing
against them, of both their property and their women; the loot was
enough of a lure. Or was this aggressiveness all a matter of Muhammad’s
“perverse interpretation” of Islam? It would be perfectly appropriate for the Senators to ask General
McMaster what “perverse interpretation” of Islam he thinks the Islamic
State or Al-Qaeda labor under, to explain exactly where the terrorists’
interpretation of Islam distorts or veers away from the basic tenets of
Islam, as conveyed by any mainstream madrasa’s lessons, or any orthodox
imam’s sermons?
General McMaster refers to “groups like ISIL, who use this irreligious ideology” and whose members “depend on ignorance,
and the ability to recruit vulnerable segments of populations to foment
hatred.” Again he should be asked, what is the “ignorance” that members
of the Islamic State depend on to obtain recruits? Is General McMaster
suggesting that these potential recruits are “ignorant” of the real
meaning of Islam – the peace and tolerance and convivencia
about which the small army of apologists (John Esposito, Pope Francis,
Karen Armstrong, Barack Obama, Reza Aslan, Omid Safi, and so many
others) constantly prate? Is General McMaster quite convinced that it is
“ignorance” of Islam that helps “groups like ISIL [ISIS]”? How is it
that so many “ignorant” Muslims could manage to remain unaware of
Islam’s pacific essence, and thus be easily inveigled into believing the
“perverse interpretation” of the faith, as something violent,
hate-filled, cruel, that is the very opposite of what, in the General’s
view, is the essence of Islam? Is this what General McMaster purports to
believe? Isn’t it, rather, that those who join ISIS or Al-Qaeda are not
ignorant at all, but know perfectly well what the texts of Islam
inculcate, and rightly understand the meaning of Islam as a warlike
doctrine of conquest and subjugation? And aren’t they quick to offer
textual support from the Qur’an, Hadith, and Sira, for their every act
of terror? And hasn’t Islam meant conquest through violence, and
subjugation, of many different kinds of Infidels, over many different
lands, for the past 1400 years? Many of the Senators voting on General McMaster’s appointment will
prefer not to press these points. Most Democrats will agree with his
pollyannish remarks on Islam. Most Republicans may simply wish to defer
to the general as a Trump appointee, wrongly assuming that he must,
therefore, be “tough” on Islam. Few senators will have the stomach to
discuss Islam truthfully in public, knowing they will then have to
endure the usual idiotic charges of bigotry and “Islamophobia” from
those whose minds are made up, and who do not want to be confused with
facts. But it would take only a handful of senators, possibly from both
parties, offering piercing questions, to strike a blow for common sense
and our common security. Ideally, a few of them will choose to read
aloud Qur’anic verses or stories from the Hadith that inculcate hatred
of, and violence toward, Infidels. The General should be asked what
exactly those recruited by terrorists are ignorant of, and why he
considers them, as a result, more “vulnerable” to the siren song of the
Al-Baghdadis and Bin Ladens. Does he think these recruits are less
educated, or more impoverished, and because of that easier to inveigle
into terrorism? The data suggests otherwise. Many studies have concluded that Islamic terrorists are both better off economically and better educated than the average Muslim.
If they are particularly “vulnerable” to those texts that preach
violent Jihad, this means not that they are “ignorant” and susceptible
to accept a “perverse interpretation” of the faith, but that they are
prepared to take Islam to heart, not shirking their duty to engage in
violent Jihad (or to “strike terror”), but acting upon what Islam
demands of its followers; they are having their Islam straight up, as
determined Jihadists, and not on the rocks of self-interested
calculation that might make some hesitate to sacrifice themselves for
Islam. It’s hard to understand what General McMaster means by his use of
the word “ignorance” in reference to these recruits. Is he suggesting
that their knowledge of Islam is incomplete, and that if they were to
learn more, they would of course come to realize that only a “perverse interpretation”
of Islam would lead to violence? Does he believe that his understanding
of Islam is superior to that of Al-Baghdadi or Bin Laden? After being
confronted in those hearings with those 100-plus Jihad verses, and many
other verses, too, that teach contempt for the Infidels, those that
characterize them as the “vilest of creatures” and instruct Muslims not
to take Christians and Jews as friends, “for they are friends only with
each other,” would General McMaster still maintain his rosy view of
Islam? It is not those more ignorant of Islam who are inveigled by
terrorist masters but, rather, those who, becoming ever more devout,
study the texts closely, take to heart the endless litany of hatred
toward Infidels, feel keenly the duty of Jihad, and become terrorists
fully conscious of what they are doing. We would all prefer to believe –
it would be such a great relief – that General McMaster is right, and
that Islamic terrorism is a result of a “perverse interpretation” of
Islam, one having no relation to the “real” Islam. How comforting it
would be to believe that Muslim terrorist masters “depend on ignorance”
(of the real, peaceful Islam) – how comforting, and how false. Perhaps, made aware of comments critical of his knowledge of Islam, such as these you are reading, or here,
General McMaster might give himself, by way of preparation for his role
as national security adviser, a short course in Islam that would
disabuse him of his hitherto complacent understanding. He could then
simply tell the sympathetic senators that he has had occasion to study
both Islamic texts and Islamic terrorism more fully, and based on that
study, wishes to revise his previous statements, made last year, so that
they would read something like this: “The many Islamic terrorist
groups, such as the Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah, and
many other groups and groupuscules, are able to recruit Muslims using an
interpretation of Islam that is not necessarily accepted by all but is
certainly accepted by a great many – far too many – Muslims, and candor
compels me to admit, following a re-examination of the Qur’an and other
Islamic texts, that this version of Islam should be considered not
aberrant but mainstream.”
And then he might add: “It is up to us to figure out how best we can
help those born into Islam, without any choice in the matter, who
recognize those troublesome aspects of their faith that are inimical to
real peace and real tolerance, and for which they would like to find a
solution, if such is possible.” An unflinching statement like that, from
General McMaster, despite the subsequent howls of protest by CAIR and
the Southern Poverty Law Center, would be enough – would be more than
enough – to clear a good many minds of cant.

is building a 30,000 person army of “lynch mob” agitators to start
riots, civil war across America Barak Hussein Obama is not sitting idly
by watching the dismantling of his disastrous and destructive legacy
after eight years in the White House. Quite the contrary. He and
Michelle are setting up a “shadow white house within two miles of
[President] Trump,” reports the New York Post. It is from this vantage
point that the former President and First Lady will be leading “a group
of leftist non-profits led by Organizing for Action” (OFA). Author Ed
Klein pointed this out on Fox News before President Trump’s
inauguration.
The OFA currently has over 250 offices in America
and more than 32,000 fired up participants, along with another 25,000
who are actively being trained for six weeks in the same “Alinsky
agitation tactics Obama received in Chicago when he was a community
organizer.” Saul Alinsky (1909 – 1972) was a highly motivated and fiery
Chicago socialist whose ideology has been a strategic model for both
Obamas. Alinsky’s well known book “Rules for Radicals” was dedicated to
Lucifer.
The OFA has raised over $40 million in donations and
grants since 2013 when it morphed out of another Obama organization
called Organizing for America. Because the OFA is organized as a 501 (c)
(4), it doesn’t have to disclose who provides the funding, but you can
be sure that Obama’s pal, the notorious, evil billionaire pal George
Soros certainly has skin in the game. Frontpagemag.com points out that
in 2014, according to IRS tax filings, the donors giving OFA the most
were members of the “Soros- founded Democracy Alliance,” a group formed
for “left-wing billionaires devoted to radical political change.”
To
extend it’s reach, the OFA has teamed up with another anti-Trump
progressive group called Indivisible, which boasts “4,500 local groups
signed up to resist Trump in nearly every Congressional district in the
country.” One of their first joint OFA/Indivisible projects was an
online training Recess Tool Kit, which instructs the newly trained
agitators how to “bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for
repealing ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations,
and building a border wall.” As Breitbart has exposed, “Indivisible
leaders are openly associated with groups financed by billionaire George
Soros.”
In addition to the OFA goal of keeping ObamaCare and
resisting President Trump’s conservative agenda on immigration issues,
there are other platforms Obama and his band of OFA minions are
desperate to salvage. These include a platform to fight against “climate
deniers,” promote gun control, and ensure that women still have the
right to kill their young inside the womb, among others. Reading through
the issues pushed by OFA, is a stark reminder of what the past eight
years have been – and what could have been had Hillary Clinton been
elected. As you may recall, Soros donated $25 million dollars to get her
in the White House. It’s clear he’s still trying to make good on his
investment.
That a former president is actively engaged, merely
weeks after stepping down, in preserving a lying and destructive agenda
is something new in America, but these days, how can we be surprised at
any attempts by those intent on a globalist agenda to thwart President
Trump? The disconnect between reality and lies is growing bigger for
those who have signed up for another ride on the Obama train. Time will
tell if these organized agitators will employ violence or mayhem. The
former White House occupier may possess the biggest disconnect of all,
with an ego that prevents him from knowing it.

former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump
protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops?
Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who

for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across
the country.
Since Donald Trump’s election, this little-known but
well-funded protesting arm has beefed up staff and ramped up
recruitment of young liberal activists, declaring on its website, “We’re
not backing down.” Determined to salvage Obama’s legacy, it’s drawing
battle lines on immigration, ObamaCare, race relations and climate
change.
Obama is intimately involved in OFA operations and even
tweets from the group’s account. In fact, he gave marching orders to OFA
foot soldiers following Trump’s upset victory.
“It is fine for
everybody to feel stressed, sad, discouraged,” he said in a conference
call from the White House. “But get over it.” He demanded they “move
forward to protect what we’ve accomplished.”
“Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope.”
Far
from sulking, OFA activists helped organize anti-Trump marches across
US cities, some of which turned into riots. After Trump issued a
temporary ban on immigration from seven terror-prone Muslim nations, the
demonstrators jammed airports, chanting: “No ban, no wall, sanctuary
for all!”
Run by old Obama aides and campaign workers, federal
tax records show “nonpartisan” OFA marshals 32,525 volunteers
nationwide. Registered as a 501(c)(4), it doesn’t have to disclose its
donors, but they’ve been generous. OFA has raised more than $40 million
in contributions and grants since evolving from Obama’s campaign
organization Obama for America in 2013.
OFA, in IRS filings, says
it trains young activists to develop “organizing skills.” Armed with
Obama’s 2012 campaign database, OFA plans to get out the vote for
Democratic candidates it’s grooming to win back Congress and erect a
wall of resistance to Trump at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.
It
will be aided in that effort by the Obama Foundation, run by Obama’s
former political director, and the National Democratic Redistricting
Committee, launched last month by Obama pal Eric Holder to end what he
and Obama call GOP “gerrymandering” of congressional districts.
Obama
will be overseeing it all from a shadow White House located within two
miles of Trump. It features a mansion, which he’s fortifying with
construction of a tall brick perimeter, and a nearby taxpayer-funded
office with his own chief of staff and press secretary. Michelle Obama
will also open an office there, along with the Obama Foundation.
Critical
to the fight is rebuilding the ravaged Democratic Party. Obama hopes to
install his former civil rights chief Tom Perez at the helm of the
Democratic National Committee.
Perez is running for the vacant
DNC chairmanship, vowing, “It’s time to organize and fight . . . We must
stand up to protect President Obama’s accomplishments,” while also
promising, “We’re going to build the strongest grassroots organizing
force this country has ever seen.”
The 55-year-old Obama is not content to go quietly into the night like other ex-presidents.
“You’re
going to see me early next year,” he told his OFA troops after the
election, “and we’re going to be in a position where we can start
cooking up all kinds of great stuff.”
Added the ex-president: “Point is, I’m still fired up and ready to go.”

brainwash Americans into believing their propoganda through very
sophisticated tactics.
I know he is in jail still, but Pete

Throughout American history, most ex-presidents have chosen
to move away from Washington D.C. once their terms have ended, and the
vast majority of them have tried very hard not to interfere with their
successors.
Unfortunately, Barack Obama has opted for the exact opposite
approach. His new home is less than two miles from the White House, and
from this “command center” he will be directing the activities of an
army of more than 30,000 anti-Trump activists. In fact, as you will see
below, this army has already been heavily involved in many of the
protests and riots that have been popping up around the nation in recent
days. “Sabotage” is a very strong word, but it is becoming apparent
that Obama intends to do all that he can to sabotage the Trump
administration, and that is very bad news for the American people.

of Organizing for Action, you will see that there is a big picture of
Obama right in the background of the homepage. Organizing for Action “grew out of Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign”, and it claims to have 250 local chapters around the nation.
If Hillary Clinton had won the election, Organizing for Action would
almost certainly have faded from the spotlight, but now that Trump is in
the White House they are rapidly raising money and gearing up for war.
And one of the first things the organization is trying to do is to save Obamacare. The following comes from NBC News…

health care-focused events in 42 states this year with partners that
include mainline liberal groups, like the Center for American Progress
and Planned Parenthood, as well those from the progressive wing, like
MoveOn.org.
OFA says 20,000 people have used their tool to call senators’ offices
to urge them not to repeal Obamacare and says one million supporters
have already taken action with OFA.
The goal is to further hinder the already stalling momentum around repeal the Affordable Care Act.

So many people have been pointing the finger at George Soros for
funding and organizing anti-Trump activists, but the truth is that
Organizing for Action is perhaps even more involved than Soros is.
And Barack Obama is guiding and directing Organizing for Action from
his brand new compound less than two miles from the White House.
The ironic thing about all of this is that Obama is currently
building a very tall brick wall around his compound while at the same
time his army of activists is highly criticizing Trump for wanting to
build a border wall to protect the United States from unwanted
intruders.
If Obama doesn’t like walls, he should tear down his own wall first.
Another form of sabotage against the Trump administration is coming
from Obama loyalists that are still embedded within various government
agencies.

President Donald Trump pointed the finger at Obama
administration holdovers at the White House and National Security
Council for leaking information about private phone conversations he had
with leaders of Australia and Mexico.
“It’s a disgrace that they leaked because it’s very much against our country,” Trump told Fox News
Sunday, accusing “Obama people” in civil service positions for the
leaks. “It’s a very dangerous thing for this country,” he added noting
that these individuals were still being sought out and replaced.
Needless to say, after eight years under Obama many government
agencies are absolutely crawling with people that are still very loyal
to him. Trump needs to do a major housecleaning, and that is going to
take some time.
What is going on between Obama and Trump is a microcosm of what is happening to society as a whole.
Obama and his loyalists have totally bought into the radical
progressive agenda of the global elite, and Donald Trump and his
followers are very much against it.
I don’t know that it is possible for there to be much compromise
between the two sides, and so that means that more conflict is ahead.
The election of Donald Trump has fired up the radical left like never
before, and I believe that the protests and riots that we have seen so
far are only just the beginning.
And if things go really bad under Trump, it is very easy to imagine widespread civil unrest erupting all over the nation.
Unfortunately, throughout all of this we are going to be having an
ex-president sitting less than two miles from the White House guiding
and directing the anti-Trump forces every step of the way.
