The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has voted to repeal its landmark net neutrality protections, capping off a months-long campaign by the agency’s Republicans to deregulate the broadband industry.
The FCC voted 3-2 along party lines Thursday to scrap its 2015 Open Internet Order as Democratic lawmakers and dozens of activists protested outside.
In a dramatic moment, the meeting was abruptly evacuated in the middle of FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s remarks ahead of the vote.
Reporters and attendees were forced to exit the hearing room and leave their belongings as police brought in K9 units to sweep the room. Attendees were allowed to re-enter the room within 15 minutes of the evacuation.

In a move blasted by voting rights experts as an affront to transparency, the Alabama state Supreme Court granted local election officials permission not to preserve electronic ballot records less than 24 hours before polls opened – records that could form the basis of a recount.
The Alabama state Supreme Court’s ruling overturned an injunction issued by a lower court in Montgomery, the state capital, which had ordered election officials across the state to preserve digital images of the ballots cast in the Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones.
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill appealed the lower court’s injunction to the state supreme court at 4:38 PM on Monday afternoon and the justices came back with their ruling at 5:18 PM – an usually quick turnaround time.
“It’s just unbelievable that they examined the pleadings and got eight judges to concur in half an hour on a Monday afternoon,” said Priscilla Duncan, an attorney representing the plaintiffs in the case.
Duncan expressed concern the voting machines could be compromised, “whether intentionally or through error,” indicating tests around the country have demonstrated sizable discrepancies.
“We have reason to believe those machines can be compromised. Whether intentionally or through error, there can be some false results, and there have been some tests around the country where there have been some rather sizeable discrepancies,” she said.
“There’s no legitimate reason not to preserve ballot images,” said Christopher Sautter, a Washington election lawyer who helped the plaintiffs in the case. “It’s neither expensive nor inconvenient. It amounts to flipping a switch.”
While some have noted Alabama officials could just count the original paper ballots in the event of a recount or court challenge, Alabama law does not provide for manual recounts – only a machine recount of the digital images that are taken at the time each ballot is cast.
“People think that when they mark the ballots and they go into the machine that that’s what counted,” Duncan noted. “But it’s not, the paper ballot is not what’s counted. That ballot is scanned and they destroy [the ballots] after the election … If there’s ever an election challenge you need to have what was actually counted.”

In what surely was one of the dirtier campaigns in American history, Judge Roy Moore was narrowly defeated in the Alabama special Senate election today by his hard-left opponent, Doug Jones. The campaign was dominated by attacks on Moore, which distracted voters not only from Jones’ hard-left positions but also from the election’s true significance: The loss has narrowed the Republicans’ Senate majority to 51-49, thus imperiling President Trump’s agenda and ability to shape the Supreme Court.
The Left and establishment Right pulled out all the stops to defeat Moore. Approximately a month before the election, the Washington Post (and then other media) accused the judge of having committed sexual misconduct 40 years ago. Yet the story was mischaracterized by Machiavellian media, prevaricating politicians, and artifice-practiced activists almost from the get-go.
Seven women reported only that Moore courted them — often with their parents’ blessings — when he was in his early 30s and they were of age and that he acted like a perfect gentleman. Just one woman alleged that he tried to coerce sexual activity, but key elements of her story were refuted by witnesses, and she herself admitted to having written part of the yearbook inscription she had earlier attributed to Moore. What remained was a woman with a checkered past, which included sexual misconduct allegations against other men, who claims she went on two dates with Moore when she was 14. Yet even she didn’t accuse the judge of having tried to force sexual activity.
So there were only two damning allegations, one largely disproven and the other unproven. And in none of the cases was even fornication alleged. Yet this wasn’t the picture the media painted.
Reporters would routinely introduce the matter with something to the effect of, “Multiple women have accused Moore of sexual misconduct” and would characterize him as “an accused pedophile.” Of course, a “pedophile” is someone who engages in sexual activity with a prepubescent child, which doesn’t at all describe even the worst of the unproven allegations. But the truth didn’t matter — destroying Roy Moore did.
To this end, the Democrats and complicit media also successfully used shame tactics, telling voters that Alabama would become the nation’s laughingstock if it sent Moore to the Senate.
In contrast, Jones was often described only as a “respected attorney.” There was little mention that he supports prenatal infanticide up to, apparently, the point of birth; that he advocates allowing boys to use girls’ locker rooms if they claim girl status; and that he’s pro-amnesty.
Also swept under the rug was Jones’ behavior toward an underage victim of sexual abuse. Brittany Benefield endured the abuse when she was 15 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001, and Jones was the institution’s defense attorney. Speaking to AL.com late last month, Benefield stated that some things Jones said during the process “really made my jaw hit the floor,” as she described him as “cold, uncaring, unfeeling and calculated throughout the case.” “He was not a victim’s advocate,” Benefield told AL.com. “He was all for blaming the victim, honestly.”
As for the media’s shamelessness, their attacks were beneath contempt to the very end. Truly scraping the bottom of the barrel, Politicus USA’s Jason Easley ran the Tuesday fake-news headline, “Roy Moore Campaign Ends With Rally That Attacks Jews And Tells Stories About Child Prostitutes.”
This is a “pants on fire” lie. The story about “child prostitutes” was actually one that portrays Moore in a positive light (I wrote about it here). Related by a man who served with Moore in Vietnam, New Jersey attorney Bill Staehle, Easley couldn’t even manage to get his name right, mis-identifying him as “Bill Sailing.” But it’s fitting that fake news by a so-called reporter would be accompanied by a fake name.
Of course, leftists’ problem with Moore has nothing to do with alleged sexual impropriety. For they are the mainstreamers of sexual impropriety. They have inserted improper sex education in the schools, have peddled homosexuality and “transgenderism” to kids, and have infused the entire culture with licentiousness. They have not only defended but have lauded sexual predators such as late Senator Ted Kennedy, in whose car a young woman drowned in 1969; and Democrat pederasts such as Harvey Milk and Congressman Gerry Studds. And now they have another foot soldier in the Senate.
Leftists’ real issue with Judge Moore is that he’s everything the establishment is not. He has long stood against government cronyism, the homosexual and “transgender” agendas, and the purging of faith from public life, and he actually understands and seeks to uphold the Constitution. And as even the New York Timeshad to admit, as a judge Moore continually defended the little guy (and, notably, black defendants) against the powers-that-be.
But now the powers-that-be have defeated Moore. It’s a testimonial as to how the media can shape, distort, and twist public opinion. As I’ve often pointed out, the media are our conduit of information — and of misinformation. And how can people make the right decisions on politicians and policies if they’re hearing lies about those politicians and policies? It’s as with a computer: garbage in, garbage out.
And, consequently, a little more garbage is now off to the Senate.

The bell is tolling for Europe. All the warning signs are turned on red. A demographic catastrophe is in the making. If Europe fails to make a stand, its Judeo-Christian civilization is about to be blown away.
And now a Pew research study has verified that even if the mass influx of Muslim refugees into Europe ended now, that the Muslim population will continue to surge…We must have the courage to protect our borders and introduce travel bans, as President Trump is doing in the US…

Two years ago, the Washington Post published an article entitled: “Europe’s fear of Muslim refugees echoes rhetoric of 1930s anti-Semitism,” which — as is evident from the title — compared those who have concerns about the massive Muslim influx into Europe to the Nazis of the 1930’s, ready to murder Jews by the millions. The article absurdly stated that “part of that hostility was fueled, as some of the European grievances are now, by stereotypes of the refugees as harbingers of a dangerous ideology.”
Comparison of Muslims and Jews has become an offensive habit among groups that are advancing their pro-migration agenda. It was Muslims, including the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who worked with the Nazis toward their goal of wiping out the Jewish race. It is eyebrow raising that even some Jews of today — whose families experienced the Holocaust — indulge in such bizarre comparisons between Nazism and responsible concerns about the Muslim hijrah. The Jews were targeted only because of their race, and lies were spun against them to fan the flames of racism, hatred and ultimately mass murder.
Muslims are not being targeted because of intolerance. Islam is not a race. Mass Muslim migration into Europe has proven to be a menace; given valid security threats posed to European society and culture, there is reason to be troubled about their hijrah into Europe, and more broadly, into the West. No one would have thought that in so short a space of time, Europe would house sharia patrols, sharia courts, proliferating and expanding no-go zones, and would be home to harmful cultural practices including FGM, honor violence, the religiously mandated taking of infidel women through mass rapes. Muslim hate preachers openly proclaim doctrines of death for apostasy, homosexuality, as well as call for death to Jews and preach the inferior status of women (including wife beating and spousal rape). Now drives to shut down free speech using the victimhood narrative of “Islamophobia” is ever-expanding. More important is the historically expansionist Islamic ideology that divides the world into two camps: the House of War (Dar al harb) and the House of Islam (Dar al Islam).
The goal to Islamize Europe, about which Geert Wilders has long warned, is rooted in such doctrine:

Significantly, the Islamic calendar counts the hijrah, not Muhammad’s birth or the occasion of his first “revelation,” as the beginning of Islam, implying that Islam is not fully itself without a political and military component.
To emigrate in the cause of Allah – that is, to move to a new land in order to bring Islam there, is considered in Islam to be a highly meritorious act. “And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many locations and abundance,” says the Qur’an.
“And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah.

According to Wilders, if Europe continues to “leave the door open,” it will “soon be driven out of it,” losing its identity and freedoms. He further warns:

Instead of being soft, Europe must be tough. If we fail, our national identity will be in danger, our freedom will be in jeopardy, the Europe we know will cease to exist. And, as the Pew figures show, it will cease to exist soon.

Given the chaos that has gripped Europe, Wilders’ longtime warnings are obviously accurate.

Last week, the renowned Pew Research Center published updated figures about the growing Muslim population in the broader EU region (i.e. the 28 European Union member states plus Switzerland and Norway). The figures are truly dramatic. Unless there are radical changes to the present policies towards immigration, 30.6% of the population in Sweden will be Islamic by the middle of the century. Sweden is as good as finished.
But the situation elsewhere is hardly better. 19.7% in Germany, 18% in France, 17.2 % in Britain, and 15.2% in the Netherlands. This is what Pew expects to happen if the migration patterns continue at the 2014-2016 levels. Pew also calculated what will happen if the current refugee crisis comes to an end but regular immigration continues at present level.
Under this scenario, the number of Muslims by 2050 is still bound to rise to 20.5% in Sweden, 17.4% in France, 16.7% in the UK, 12.5% in the Netherlands, and 10.8% in Germany.
Last week, I posted a tweet with a picture from the Pew report, accompanied by the text “An existential problem: our population is being replaced. And it will get much worse if we don’t de-Islamise soon!” A few hours later, the tweet was censored in France. In the country of President Emmanuel Macron, the people are not allowed to know the truth.
The proliferation of Islam is bad news for Europe; the threat of Islamic terrorism is omnipresent. This Christmas season, concrete barriers have become a familiar sight around festive markets all over Western Europe.
But Europe has also become acquainted with female genital mutilation, honour killings, polygamy, rising anti-Semitism, and appalling examples of misogyny. Recent academic studies indicate that the vast majority of European Muslims find their Islamic rules more important than Europe’s secular democratic laws, while significant numbers (up to 11% in the Netherlands according to the University of Amsterdam) find it acceptable to use violence in the name of Islam.
More Islam means more violence and intolerance.
Unfortunately, Europe’s demographics might shift even more rapidly than Pew predicts. As Breitbart London pointed out, immigration trends tend to be at – and often beyond – the highest projections established by migration observatories. Moreover, Pew seems to be cautious in its calculations.
Last February, Elsevier Magazine, the Dutch equivalent of Newsweek, asked researchers to calculate what the effects of immigration would be for the Netherlands. They predicted that, in case of a ‘generous’ immigration policy, the Islamic population will surge from 7% today to 19% by 2060. In case of a continuation at the present levels, it will hit 14%. This is well over the Pew predictions.
Pew also overlooks a very important demographic fact relating to the influx of 2 million so-called ‘refugees’ into Europe in 2015-2016. Not only were 78% of these ‘refugees’ Muslims, but they were overwhelmingly young males. Of the 1.1 million ‘refugees’ in Germany alone, 800,000 were males below 25 years of age.
Pew is also looking exclusively at the effects of Islamic immigration. Islam is, indeed, the largest threat to Europe’s Judeo-Christian and humanist civilization, but the devastating effect of mass immigration is much broader.
In 2010-2016, 53% of all migrants to Europe were Muslims, while 47% were non-Muslim. Both groups consist to a large extent of young males. They are an enormous strain on Europe’s welfare systems. What we get are mostly unskilled and low-skilled workers, who do not benefit our societies but only cost us money. Over half of the people on welfare in the Netherlands today are non-Western immigrants.
If nothing happens, worse is still to come. The African population is bound to quadruple from its present one billion to four billion by the end of the century. One-third of the Africans want to move abroad. Many want to come to Europe. Over half of the African population is Islamic and they are the fastest growing group.
Last week, at the Europe-Africa summit in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, the European countries agreed to mobilize billions of investments for Africa. This is money down the drain. Billions of development money are already spent in Africa each year, which either end up in the hands of corrupt regimes or benefit the middle class which is exactly the group of people most eager to emigrate to Europe……
The EU policy is a march of folly. More than six million migrants are currently waiting in countries around the Mediterranean to cross into Europe. Because they break in through the back windows, the EU is opening the front door of ‘the house of Europe.’
This is not what we want. We have to stop the suicidal madness of the EU elites. We must stop the millions wanting to come to the ‘house of Europe’, because this house is our house.
If we leave the door open, we will soon be driven out of it. We will lose our identity and our freedom. Our existence is at stake. We must safeguard it. This can only be done if we have to courage to adopt a new strategy. As Winston Churchill said: “Courage is the greatest virtue because it guarantees all the rest.”
Instead of acting as a magnet to young Africans and Asians, Europe has to have the courage to be exactly the opposite. We must have the courage to protect our borders and introduce travel bans, as President Trump is doing in the US.
The courage to send every boat with illegal migrants back, as Australia does. The courage to restrict legal immigration instead of expanding it. The courage to start the immediate repatriation of illegal immigrants. The courage to de-Islamize, and be unwelcoming to Islam. Instead of being soft, Europe must be tough. If we fail, our national identity will be in danger, our freedom will be in jeopardy, the Europe we know will cease to exist. And, as the Pew figures show, it will cease to exist soon.

Church of Sweden Archbishop Antje Jackelén has led the push to stop referring to God as “He.”

In a sign of the growing apostasy in the historic state churches across the world, the Church of Sweden has decided to adopt “gender neutral” language when referencing God and their leader even referred to the Holy Spirit as a “she.” The move is yet another sign of the end times falling away in the church prophesied throughout Scripture.
 Changing the Bible for A Political Agenda

The Bible is clear that God made man in HIS image.

According to reports:

“The Church of Sweden is urging its clergy to use gender-neutral language when referring to the supreme deity, refraining from using terms such as “Lord” and “he” in favour of the less specific “God.”
The move is one of several taken by the national Evangelical Lutheran church in updating a 31-year-old handbook setting out how services should be conducted in terms of language, liturgy, hymns and other aspects.
The decision was taken on Thursday at the end of an eight-day meeting of the church’s 251-member decision-making body, and takes effect on 20 May on the Christian holiday of Pentecost.
A former state church, headquartered in Uppsala, some 37 miles north of the capital, the church has 6.1 million baptised members in a country of 10 million. It is headed by a woman, Archbishop Antje Jackelén.” (source).

The Church has hit back at these reports calling them “fake news”:

“It’s not true,” were a spokesperson’s first words when The Local called to ask.
“It’s not true,” repeated Sofija Pedersen Videke, head of the Church’s service of worship committee, which was heavily involved in the work on the new handbook before it went before the Church Assembly. “It’s not true, it’s fake news. I am aghast and wonder where it’s coming from?” (source).

According to the church’s response, rather than “banning” masculine pronouns for God, the changes to the handbook merely promoted more inclusive language. The use of “he” and “Lord” for God was still permitted. However, when one examines what the changes actually say, it’s clear the Church of Sweden is blatantly altering Scripture to suit their own political, apostate agenda.  Among the recommended changes to liturgical prayers was the following:

“God, Holy Trinity, Father and Mother, Son – Sister and Brother, and Spirit – Lifeguard and Inspirator, lead us to your depths of wealth, wisdom and knowledge.” (source).

“Theologically, we know that God is beyond our gender determinations, God is not human,” explained Archbishop Antje Jackelen, the female head of the church.  On top of this the Church moved to use a female grammatical gender for the Holy Spirit, which they claim was based on the Hebrew term for Holy Spirit.

Does God Have A Gender? Is God Male or Female?

The Church of Sweden’s position is blatant doctrinal error. In the Bible, God is revealed as having a gender – male:

“And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,  And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:  Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:” – Genesis 18:1-4.

When God not only appeared on Earth but came to Abraham’s home and dined with him, He was male. Abraham saw God and identified The Lord as a man along with the male angels escorting Him.
Jesus Christ, who is God, is of course male. In His incarnation on Earth The Lord was born as a male baby from a human woman. The Bible leaves no room to reinterpret the gender of Jesus Christ.  And in the New Testament Jesus Christ refers to God as “Father” approximately 160 times.
The Holy Spirit – who is the Third Person of the Trinity, and God, is male in Scripture:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” – John 4:16-17.

^“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” – John 14:26.
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” – John 15:26.
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” – John 16:7.

On 4 separate occasions, The Lord Jesus Christ explicitly identified the Holy Spirit as male. How could a church leadership body so blatantly disregard the Bible? Because they are not concerned with upholding Biblical Christianity or contending for the faith. Instead, these are “wolves in sheep clothing” – false teachers, preachers and “priests” presenting themselves as “Christian leaders” but are instead spreading incorrect doctrine.

Beware of The End Times Apostasy

To no surprise Antje Jackelén has been well-received by Pope Francis who is also a promoter of heretical doctrines.

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” – 2 Timothy 4:1-4.

The Bible warns that a time was approaching when the church would no longer “endure sound doctrine” or be willing to even listen to sound, Biblical Christian teachings. Instead they would want teachers based on who could tickle their “itching ears” – or in other words, preach a message that suited their sinful desires. The Church of Sweden’s new guidelines are a perfect example of this apostasy.

Bishop Eva Brunne has pushed for Muslim prayers rooms and removal of crosses in Swedish churches.

In 2009, this same group ordained the first openly gay female bishop, Eva Brunne. Since that time, Brunne has called for churches to remove their crosses so as not to offend Muslim refugees entering the country. Additionally, she has recommended certain churches set up Muslim prayer rooms (which point to Mecca) to accommodate visiting Muslims or refugees.
“Making a room available for people of other faiths does not mean that we are not defenders of our own faith. Priests are called to proclaim Christ. We do that every day and in every meeting with people,” Brunne reportedly said. “But that does not mean that we are stingy toward people of other faiths.”
This is blatant sinful rebellion. Time and time again, God commands His believers to worship no other God. When the Devil tempted Jesus to worship him, The Lord responded: “…Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (Matthew 4:10).
Note that the openly lesbian bishop Brunne attempts to strike a very compassionate chord with her reasoning for allowing Muslim prayer space. It’s out of a desire to not offend and to share rather than be “stingy to other faiths.” This human-centered reasoning is very on trend with the progressive, inclusive, God-denying sentiment of the times. But Christians are called to follow The Lord Jesus Christ – not the world. The Book of 2 Corinthians directly rebukes Brunne’s position:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” – 2 Corinthians 6:14-17.

Rather than stand for Biblical truth, many churches like the Church of Sweden have gone after the praise and adoration of the world. The Church of Sweden’s continued descent into apostasy and one world religion is also seen in their effort to raise funds for “God’s House” a construction project which will add a mosque to an already-existing Church of Sweden building. The goal is to physically connect the church, mosque and a Catholic chapel via a glass-walled courtyard and promote “…peace and coexistence between religions.”

Pray for the nation of Sweden and its church leaders to repent. The Church of Sweden leadership was correct about one thing: the cross of Jesus Christ can be offensive to some. The Apostle Paul wrote: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19).
It is time for the “enlightened”, “progressive” false teachers and heretics of this day to understand that the Gospel as preached in the Bible must offend. Why? Because it reveals all our sin. It goes directly to the heart of the matter – that all people, male and female, without exception – are sinners who willingly and knowingly rebel against God in thought, word or deed daily. And for our guilt we are all deserving of eternal punishment in Hell. This is what causes so much offense – that the Bible shines a light on our evil deeds. Society wants to preach that we are all good, special and awesome all on our own. Christianity teaches that we are sinful wretches deserving of the wrath of The Lord God who will one day judge us all.
Is this is a hard message? Yes. But God did not end the message there. The good news is that despite our sin, despite our perversion, hatred, jealousy, violence and greed – The Lord still loves us. God not only loves us all – His desire is that we all be freely forgiven through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross – which atoned for our sin. Pray for the remnant of Bible-believing Christians in Sweden to continue to boldly preach the true Biblical Gospel of free forgiveness in Jesus Christ. The world needs to know that there is a Father in Heaven and that they too can be forgiven when they put faith in Him as revealed in His Divine Word.
