PASTOR ALERT!-CHURCH IS FOR BELIEVERS, NOT UNBELIEVERS
John MacArthur has an article showing that many pastors have misplaced priorities and think that church is for the unregenerate unchurched. Pastors also have been told, such as by Andy Stanley, that they are no longer shepherds or ministers to believers but "vision casting" leaders instead. That is just not biblical. Rob Bell has a new promo trailer on YouTube for his new book "What We Talk About When We Talk About God". The video compares his old Oldsmobile to God. It is filled with unbiblical heresies and blasphemies when he compares God to a "collector's item", a "relic of the past", and the culture thinking of God a "bit like Oldsmobiles", implying that we need to change our "small tribal" view and presentation of God to conform to the culture's view of God who is seen as "outdated","obsolete", "mean' and "not that intelligent". He cites examples that "have to go" (like the obsolete Oldsmobile) as being like some church leaders who "refuse to let women be leaders" and who preach the evil of "homosexuality", and/or the "literal interpretation of the Bible". He claims that he meets people all the time who view traditional Christianity as "failing them and causing them harm":

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. American Family Association has just reported that Home Depot has given $8,500 to the Atlanta chapter of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) as a "Silver" sponsor of the Atlanta Gala Dinner and Auction in May. HRC is the nation's largest and most aggressive gay marriage advocacy group, leading the charge to the Supreme Court against California's constitutional amendment protecting marriage as between one man and one woman.

Moreover, The Home Depot encourages children's participation at these events by setting up company-sanctioned "Kid's Workshops," exposing them to loud and boisterous gay activities, including adult nudity.

I find The Home Depot's sponsorship and participation in homosexual events as a corporate endorsement of a dangerous and unhealthy lifestyle. The fact that The Home Depot also encourages the attendance of children at these events is disturbing to me.
Until The Home Depot agrees to remain neutral in the culture war, and stop supporting homosexual events, I will boycott their stores.

ROB BELL SAYS CHRISTIAN BELIEFS ABOUT HELL ARE "MISGUIDED AND TOXIC"

Christian News reported on Rob Bell's soon to be released "teen" version of his book "Love Wins", but that it will be filled with the same universalist heresies and twistings of Scripture as the "adult" version.
