Given his track record, there is little doubt that de Blasio will apologize and provide better quality meals for New York City’s new privileged class.
“New York Muslims raise concerns about substandard Ramadan meals,” by Umar A Farooq, Middle East Eye, May 8, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Earlier this month, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the city would be delivering 500,000 free meals to Muslims during the month of Ramadan.
“One of Ramadan’s most noble callings is to feed the hungry,” de Blasio said.
Still, when Rima Begum opened the iftar meal she received from the city, she recoiled in disgust. Oozing from a sealed silver bag was a mush of corn, chicken and potatoes.
“It reminded me of how when I was a kid you would learn about astronaut food,” Begum told Middle East Eye. “I wouldn’t eat this; I wouldn’t give this to my family,” she said.
De Blasio had said that 400,000 halal meals would be distributed at 32 Department of Education buildings and another 100,000 served through various community organisations during the holy month.
The meals being distributed directly from the city are available at 32 grab-and-go sites, and for those that cannot pick up the meals in-person, they are delivered through the NYC Food Delivery Assistance programme.
It was through this delivery programme that Begum received what she described as a “pile of goop”.
“We’d like transparency on how the city government procures food for both their Get Food NYC program and NYC Food Assistance,” Thahitun Mariam, a community organiser in Bronx, New York, told MEE.
When it came to meals distributed through community organisations, there was a different picture.
Linda Sarsour, a community activist and former executive director at the Arab American Association of New York, said that the meals distributed through AAANY came directly from the city and were of good quality.
It is the difference in food sourcing that has caused concerns among New York residents and community activists.
Purchasing meals from a defence contractor
The food received by Begum and others from one of the city’s distribution centres, and not from a community organisation, originated from J&M Halal Foods, a company based in Illinois….
It is a lack of representation, even at the local level, that causes problems such as this, Moumita Ahmed said.
Ahmed, who is running for district leader for New York’s Assembly District 24, said that some of the meals were “disrespectful” and a waste of taxpayer money….
She pointed out that the money spent on these meals could have gone to local restaurants that have been providing meals for Muslims during Ramadan for years.
“Our communities deserve better. Our communities deserve more than just goop in a plate,” Ahmed told MEE.
“We are the richest country and the richest state on the planet. We have the ability to provide quality meals to our Muslim families who are observing Ramadan,” she added.

Islamist groups, like many others, are doing what they can to adjust to life during the coronavirus. Conferences and fundraising dinners are off the table, so many are turning to online gatherings.
American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), a group that in many ways mirrors defunct Hamas-support network, is holding an "online gala" Saturday evening. Despite the rhetoric common at AMP events, the "Beyond Quarantine: Palestine Connects Us" event will feature two Democratic congresswomen.
Debbie Dingell of Michigan and California's Barbara Lee appear as speakers on AMP's promotions for the gala. Neither representative responded to requests for comment.
AMP has co-sponsored rallies featuring the chant, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." In that vision, Israel is erased from the map.
Its fall convention featured the head of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) equating "racism, Islamophobia and Zionism." Anti-Semitic political activist Linda Sarsour, who has blamed Jews for police shootings of unarmed black people, spread another lie when she told the same AMP convention that Israel "is built on the idea that Jews are supreme to everybody else."
A year earlier, CAIR San Francisco chapter director Zahra Billoo told the AMP convention she was, "not going to legitimize a country [Israel] that I don't believe has a right to exist."
This kind of rhetoric makes Dingell's appearance confusing. She withdrew her support last fall for HR2407, regarding the arrests of Palestinian children, saying the bill was "counterproductive to a peaceful, two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
Lee, on the other hand, has a clear anti-Israel voting record and is among the 23 co-sponsors of the resolution from which Dingell withdrew. Dingell and Lee have endorsed other anti-Israel groups, writing congratulatory letters, for example, for CAIR's 2018 fundraising banquet.
Both representatives joined U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in voting against a resolution last July condemning the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions ("BDS") movement targeting Israel. The resolution, which passed 398-17, criticized BDS for working against a two-state solution and trying "to exclude the State of Israel and the Israeli people from the economic, cultural, and academic life of the rest of the world."
It quoted BDS founder Omar Barghouti saying the movement rejects "a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No Palestinian, rational Palestinian, not a sell-out Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine."
The AMP gala also will hear from the group's national policy director, Osama Abuirshaid.
Abuirshaid has defended Hamas rocket fire at Israeli civilians and urged people "to challenge the legitimacy of the State of Israel."
He blamed Israel for the Syrian civil war and for the Egyptian military's 2013 ouster of a Muslim Brotherhood-dominated government. "Israel," he told the 2016 Muslim American Society/Islamic Circle of North America convention, "is a direct challenge to the entire region. Israel is risking the entire region ... remember that Israel was not created just to take and to swallow Palestine. It was created to divide and to weaken that part of the world."
Before there was an AMP, Abuirshaid edited a magazine called Al-Zaitounah, which was published by the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). He also served on the board of the American Muslim Society (AMS), which was another name for the IAP. He is listed as "Research Fellow at the United Association for Studies and Research" (UASR) in a 1999 article published in the Middle East Affairs Journal.
Internal records seized in the early 2000s by the FBI during a terror-financing investigation show that the IAP and UASR were part of a Hamas-support network called the Palestine Committee. A committee report described its mission as "defending the Islamic cause in Palestine and support for the emerging movement, the Hamas Movement."
UASR was created by Mousa Abu Marzook, a senior Hamas political leader. While it presented itself as an academic outlet, prosecutors say it was "involved in passing Hamas communiques to the United States-based Muslim Brotherhood community and relaying messages from that community back to Hamas."
The IAP served a propaganda role, publishing Hamas communiques.
"In fulfilling that function," federal prosecutors wrote in 2008, the IAP published the Hamas charter in English and distributed Hamas communiques. The IAP also published, each month, Arabic language magazines called Al Zaytouna and Ila Falestine which focused on Palestinian issues with an emphasis on support for Hamas."
Litigation pending in the U.S. District Court in Illinois alleges that AMP is a continuation of the IAP, which shut down after a 2004 judgment held it liable for $52 million in damages connected to an American student's death in a Hamas terrorist attack. The move aimed to duck out on the court's judgment, the lawsuit claims.
AMP's record and rhetoric consistently steer in one direction – it doesn't seek peace. It opposes Israel's existence. Yet Reps. Dingell and Lee appear comfortable lending their names and credibility to help the organization raise money.
Research Analyst Teri Blumenfeld contributed to this report.

If Biden said he was honored to receive the endorsement of a group that is opposed to jihad violence and Sharia oppression, he would pay a huge political price. But no one will take any particular notice of this.
“Soros-Funded Muslim Group Associated With Homophobia, Terrorist Defenders Endorses Biden,” by Joe Schoffstall, Washington Free Beacon, April 18, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):” href=”https://freebeacon.com/author/joe-schoffstall/” rel=”author”>Joe Schoffstall –
A George Soros-backed Muslim group, which cohosts a conference that in recent years drew speakers who called homosexuality a “disease” and defended terrorist groups, announced its endorsement of Joe Biden for president.
Emgage, which bills itself as the largest Muslim PAC in the country, on Thursday announced it would switch its endorsement from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) to Biden. The group cited Biden’s promises to end President Donald Trump’s travel bans, increase the refugee admissions cap, and overhaul the immigration system. Biden said he was “honored” to receive the endorsement.
Emgage has collaborated with a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated group on events that in recent years attracted speakers who openly opposed LGBT rights and supported terror groups. Last year, Emgage became an official cohost of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conferences. ISNA was previously revealed to be part of the Muslim Brotherhood network—though it claims it is no longer associated with the group.
The 2018 ISNA conference featured an array of homophobic speakers. One was Omar Suleiman, an imam who has called homosexuality a “disease” that will “destroy your children.” Another, former ISNA president Muzammil Siddiqi, said he “supported laws in countries where homosexuality is punishable by death.” Imam Shamsi Ali, an attendee who was described as a “moderate” on ISNA’s website, has stated that homosexuality is an “unbearable plague.”
Meanwhile, ISNA has disinvited pro-LGBT groups Muslims for Progressive Values and the Human Rights Campaign, because they “don’t fit in.”
The 2018 conference also featured individuals who have come to the defense of terrorist organizations. One speaker, Council on American-Islamic Relations executive Zahra Billoo, has regularly defended Hamas and refers to Israel as an “apartheid state.”
Khalid Griggs, who spoke on a panel with Billoo, has referred to al Qaeda as the “presumed perpetrators” of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and said the U.S. government used the tragedy to wage war on “legitimate resistance fighters” in the Middle East. Griggs previously launched a petition calling on the Obama administration to pardon former Black Panther Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, better known as H. Rap Brown. Brown is serving a life sentence as a convicted cop killer.
Also included in that year’s speaker lineup was Suhaib Webb, a Boston-based imam who held a fundraiser for Brown’s criminal defense fund. Webb hosted the event with Anwar al-Awlaki, an imam who preached to two of the 9/11 hijackers, joined al Qaeda, and was eventually killed in a drone strike.
Anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour, who in 2004 called for a violent “intifada” in the United States, also spoke on a panel at the conference. During the panel Sarsour warned against “humanizing” Israelis, according to audio published by the Algemeiner. Hatem Bazian, head of American Muslims for Palestine, the agent of which has defended terrorists in court, was on the panel with Sarsour….
Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”)—also known as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the largest terrorist funding case in U.S. history and a designated “terrorist organization” for nations allied to America—is again vehemently protesting my forthcoming appearance at the U.S. Army War College, urging the latter to “reconsider its decision and disinvite Ibrahim,” since my presentation will no doubt be “hypocritical, ahistorical and hateful.”
Last summer [June 2019], CAIR and its allies launched an online campaign highlighting Ibrahim's Islamophobic views and their negative impact.
Led by CAIR-Philadelphia and MPower Change, and supported by Community Responders Network, About Face, and Common Defense, the campaign drew more than 1800 signatures and received widespread support from its interfaith allies.
The referenced “petition” (see here) was essentially a hysterical screed; it claimed that if I, a supposed “racist” and enabler of “white nationalism”—despite my Egyptian heritage—am given a chance to speak before a supposedly already “racist” U.S. military, I would incite American servicemen to randomly start murdering Muslims both at home and abroad (see near the middle of petition).
In retrospect, it's interesting to learn now that this CAIR/MPower petition from last summer received a mere 1,800 signatures—despite its insistence that supporters sign it. By contrast, the much more reputable National Association of Scholars, which delivered a petition in my support to the White House, received three times as many signatures (5,349), many from well-respected scholars affiliated with numerous universities.
CAIR’s latest press release continues by boasting how,
Last year, the college postponed a similar speaking engagement with Ibrahim in response to widespread criticism [a false claim based on the paltry numbers above]. In response to postponement of his 2019 lecture, Ibrahim restated his bigoted claim that “Islamic terrorism and ‘extremism’ are intrinsic to Islam, and have been from its first contact with Western civilization in the seventh century.”
Yes, I restated this fact (not a “claim”) because it is true—whether or not CAIR whines, and whether or not I speak here or there. Temporal circumstances have no bearing on the articulation of transcendent truths.
CAIR continues:
Ibrahim's writings advance a discredited theory known as the “Clash of Civilizations” and argues that “Islam and the West” have been engaged in a centuries-long war. The lecture is based on Ibrahim's 2018 book “Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West.” That book promotes the unsubstantiated thesis that Islam, since its beginning, has “terrorized the West.”
For the record, my lecture will revolve around my book, per the War College’s request—hence why CAIR regularly targets it. As such, here one must ask: if the book’s findings are so “unsubstantiated,” why does CAIR fear it so much? Does CAIR have such a low opinion of the intellectual capacity of the U.S. Army War College and its students, as to expect them to believe anything they are told, without adequate evidence?
Or could it be that CAIR is terrified at just how well-documented and substantiated the book’s thesis really is—so that, once made known, there is no rebutting it?
Rather tellingly, for example, in none of CAIR’s and its allies' long press releases and screeds—past and present—do they once highlight a certain passage or excerpt from Sword and Scimitar to support the accusation that it “is based on poor research.” The reason is simple: although long suppressed, the history presented in the book—and which will be presented in condensed form at the War College lecture—is ironclad, verifiable, and beyond well documented; with about a thousand end-notes, the 352-page book is heavily based on primary sources, many of which are Islamic, and from eyewitnesses.
And this history makes abundantly clear that—to reiterate my supposedly self-incriminating words—Islamic terrorism and extremism are intrinsic to Islam, and have been from its first contact with Western civilization in the seventh century. Think of the atrocities committed by the Islamic State but on an exponential scale—and for over a millennium—bombarding every corner of Europe, and even America, so that the latter’s very first war as a nation was with jihad-practicing Muslims.

A new coalition of Muslim groups is launching a Democrat 2020 campaign to influence the Muslim vote. The “Million Muslim Votes campaign,” is described as “an unprecedented $1 million effort to find and persuade Muslims to participate in the 2020 general election.”
These groups are expectedly unsavory: CAIR, the Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition, MPower Change, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
CAIR is an infamous propaganda pitcher and an unindicted co-conspirator to Jihad terror.
The Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition partners with CAIR. CAIR Chicago’s Census Fellow, Nevarez Azdar works “with CAIR-Chicago and the Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition on 2020 Census related matters, namely building community awareness through workshops, presentations and events.” Azdar has “a particular outreach focus on college students and building strategic partnerships with similar peer civic engagement organizations.”
MPower Change was co-founded by Linda Sarsour, the “proud socialist” who has “compassion for Saddam Hussein”; defends and honors “known convicted terrorists”; “supports BDS and its Hamas agenda”; makes no secret of her “contempt Israel, Zionism, and Jews”; portrays America as “racist” and “Islamophobic,” and much more. “MPower Change aims to build political power online and offline for Muslims across the U.S. Combining cutting edge digital tools with years of field experience, organizing know-how, and an extensive network of supporters, MPower Change is redefining the ways that our communities build, maintain, and exercise power.”
The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) “has followed a consistent pattern of defending designated terrorist organizations and their supporters, opposing U.S. counterterrorism efforts and spouting anti-Semitic rhetoric.”
These groups have combined forces to influence the Islamization of America, and are being aided and abetted by political players who will always “stand by Muslim brothers and sisters” no matter what.
“Coalition of Muslim Political Groups Launches $1 Million Campaign to Get More Muslims to Vote In 2020,” by Steve Friess, Newsweek, March 12, 2020:
A coalition of prominent Muslim-American advocacy groups this morning are launching the Million Muslim Votes campaign, an unprecedented $1 million effort to find and persuade Muslims to participate in the 2020 general election.
Led by Emgage, a Washington D.C.-based group aimed at increasing Muslim-American political literacy and civic engagement, the campaign will focus on increasing turnout in several states with sizeable Muslim populations, Emgage CEO Wa’el Alzayat says.
“We believe getting the community to vote in a consistent manner and not just voting in presidential elections but for local, state and national offices, is a crucial ingredient to build political power,” Alzayat says. “In 2016, we saw that the scapegoating, demonization of the Muslim community was part and parcel of the electoral strategy of Trump. He was rewarded at the polls. We want to make sure that the Muslim community steps up and votes and gets its voice heard to let the country know how it feels about that.”
Emgage will be joined in this effort by EmPower, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim Public Affairs Council, MPower Change and Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition, among others. They will target Muslims in Michigan, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, New York, Illinois, Texas and California.
A Tech-Driven Effort
More sophisticated than a simple get-out-the-vote public awareness campaign, the groups have developed an algorithm “to determine likely Muslim voters, and we overlay it on top of other identifiers like ethnicity models” in voter data purchased from the progressive data trust Catalist, Alzayat says. It’s not an exact science; many Muslims don’t have stereotypical Muslim-sounding names and some who do are not Muslim……
In the midst of all this, Kyle Rempfer, a reporter from the Army Times, widely regarded as the preeminent publication for military men and veterans, contacted me. Along with answering his questions, I made it a point to stress that CAIR is an “unindicted co-conspirator” of terrorist Hamas, and that US allies such as the UAE designate CAIR, by name, as a “terrorist organization”—right up there with ISIS, al-Qaeda, and the Muslim Brotherhood.
When the report, “Muslim-American advocates protest upcoming Army War College speaker,” came out, I was not surprised to discover that Rempfer had quoted, at great length, CAIR’s false claims and criticisms against me—amplified by his own independent research: he had told me beforehand that he meant to be absolutely transparent, and did, to his credit, quote some of my defenses.
That said, and considering his supposed premium on “transparency,” I was a little surprised to see that he did not deem it relevant to inform Army Times’ readership that CAIR is a designated co-conspirator in the largest terrorist funding case in US history—even though I had sent him ample documentation, including this US Justice Dept. letter and other court evidence that makes clear what CAIR’s “work in America” is all about. To quote from the “explanatory memorandum” of the Muslim Brotherhood (CAIR’s parent organization):
The Ikhwan [The Brotherhood and its offshoots] must understand that their work in Americais a kind ofgrand Jihadin eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.
Why no “transparency” concerning these court documented facts? Could it be they raise serious questions about CAIR’s motives, so that, instead of appearing as concerned “Muslim-American activists” trying to prevent “hate” and “bigotry,” the truth will become apparent—that CAIR’s only motive was to shield America’s military leadership from a presentation that unequivocally demonstrated that Islamic terrorism is not an aberration but a perfect continuation of Islamic history vis-Ã -vis the West?
Similarly, while presenting one of my defenses, the report did so in mangled form, indicating that I had been “attacked” by my “own readers and Jihad Watch’s director, Robert Spencer, for insisting critics of Islam use words like ‘Islamist,’ instead of ‘Muslim.’”
For the record, Spencer never “attacked” me, nor does he insist on the word “Muslim.” Rather, what I had in mind was a 2012 exchange, which ended with me supporting the use of words “like Islamist” and Spencer supporting the word “Islamic supremacist.” A purely semantic disagreement, though in the aforementioned quote Spencer appears to have been conflated with those angry readers who did/do insist on using “Muslim” in every circumstance (which leads to counterproductive confusions).
Due to these issues, I made it a point to call Rempfer. He had no response as to why he failed to mention—that is, failed to be transparent about—CAIR’s well documented terror ties; when pressed on the issue, he said that it was his editor’s decision not to include this information and that I should take it up with her. He also refused to revise the mistake concerning Spencer, even though I later emphasized in an email that, “as that sentence currently stands, your own readers will walk away with a demonstrably false impression [concerning Spencer’s views]; as such, it seems in all our interest to fix it.” He replied that that’s how I had worded it, to which I replied, even so, I’m telling you now that it’s wrong and should be fixed. To this he said it was too late to make any changes to his report, since it had already been published.
When I looked at the report and noticed that they actually had re-opened it and made changes after publication—but only to add more fuel against me, by quoting Georgetown professor emeritus John Voll, who “does not agree with Ibrahim’s view”—I knew there was more afoot.
All it took was a few seconds online to make sense of everything—including Rempfer’s constant fallback, that everything was up to his editor, who refused to budge.
As the Daily Callerreports, on January 10, “The Army Times appointed as its top editor a 28-year-old feminist from Brooklyn who has repeatedly tweeted that she hates President Donald Trump.” Sarah Sicard’s other “credentials” include “interning for several Democrats …, contemplating art school,” and writing “for a marijuana publication called the Bluntness.” Here are some of this supposedly “objective” editor-in-chief’s tweets:
“Does anyone else feel like Donald Trump’s endorsement of anything makes the rest of us immediate [sic] hate that thing?” – May 2019
“Okay I hate @realDonaldTrump.” – September 2018
“I mean, I hate Trump.” – May 2017
In January 2019, she said in a tweet that it was “SAD” that she had lost followers because of “all my callouts of @POTUS.”
Indeed, it seems that the Army Times has also been “losing followers” since Sicard took over—as evidenced by the fact that most of the comments on the report in question are critical of CAIR, if not the Army Times for shielding them.
“You a-holes need to change your name to Taliban Times,” writes Tyler Johnston. “What an embarrassment you are to this country. Your use of the word Army in your title is taking a big on the people who made it great. You low life's make me sick.” Robert Sterling comments: “Nothing says ‘freedom’ like kowtowing to a known terrorist supporting mouthpiece of the Muslim Brotherhood and oppressing any viewpoint they don’t like. Viva AWC.”
Perhaps Red State best summarizes the disaster of placing Sicard in charge of Army Times:
The leftists corrupt everything they touch. They can never just leave well enough alone. Now their grubby claws have managed to gain control of yet another American icon, the Army Times. The Army Times was started in 1940 by Mel Ryder, just in time for World War II. For over 8 decades and 6 major conflicts, including the Cold War, it has provided news and other objective information to the members of the United States Army…at least until now….
After highlighting some of Sicard’s unprofessionalism, Red State concludes:
This is yet one more example of hatred for Donald Trump being used as an excuse to defy journalistic standards and place a highly biased, leftist hack in what was once a well regarded news source for members of the United States Army.
Indeed; and it also explains the Army Times’ pro-leftist bias and unethical tactics in defense of a notorious Islamic terror-linked organization, CAIR.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.
On September 1970, terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine hijacked four passenger planes headed for New York City. The Marxist terrorists separated Jewish passengers and took them hostage. The hijackings ushered in the age of modern airline security with x-ray machines and armed sky marshals, and the War on Terror, when President Nixon ordered an attack on the terrorists.
(President Nixon’s order to bomb the terrorist encampments was never carried out due to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Defense Secretary Melvin Laird undermining his decision. "I didn't have a big argument about it: I just didn't do it," Laird recalled. He then told Admiral Thomas Hinman Moorer, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to lie that there was too much cloud cover to bomb the terrorists.)
On another September, 31 years later, Islamic terrorists successfully repeated the same feat, and bypassed the antiquated security measures, to hijack four planes, and kill thousands of Americans.
Philip Agnew, Bernie’s new senior advisor, had celebrated the PFLP and had commemorated a 9/11 anniversary by tweeting, "Tomorrow America remembers the day that she turned on herself, dismantled her constitution, and killed her own citizens in the name of money."
“I am excited to welcome Phillip to our team,” Sanders was quoted as saying. “He is a gifted organizer."
Bernie’s gifted organizer had commemorated September 11 with an Instagram caption, "#neverforget what goes round comes round."
The cartoon he was captioning pictured the hijacked planes crashing into the World Trade Center as boomerangs labeled, American foreign policy. The cartoon was by Carlos Latuff, an anti-Semitic and pro-terrorist figure, who had taken second place in Iran's Holocaust cartoon contest.
Agnew had co-founded Dream Defenders, a radical anti-American hate group, which claimed that, “Post 9/11, the US declares a War on Terror and becomes a militarization, incarceration, deportation and surveillance machine around the world, all to keep colonial control over people, land and resources.”
Agnew had also promoted Dream Defender’s Blacked Out common core curriculum meant for children as young as 11, which celebrated the violent racists of the Black Panthers, the Marxist butchers of the Sandinistas, and the PFLP.
The curriculum intended for children celebrates the PFLP terrorist group as a "communist, working‐class party" and "Marxist‐Leninist and revolutionary socialist organization" whose goals include "the destruction of Israel".
"They want to be free from global imperialism. They want liberation. They want equal rights. Just like the Dream Defenders," the curriculum claims.
Dream Defenders neglects to mention that a key strategy in the PFLP’s Marxist-Leninist struggle was the murder of Jewish children.
In the Avivim school bus massacre, PFLP's Marxist-Leninists ambushed a bus full of first, second, and third graders. After waiting for other vehicles to pass, the Communist killers targeted the bus with bazooka shells and machine gun fire leaving the floor covered in bloody text books and lunch boxes.
9 children were killed in the attack and another 19 were wounded. The dead included a brother and sister, 7 and 9 years old.
In the Kiryat Shmona massacre, PFLP terrorists attacked an apartment building, killing everyone they encountered inside, including 8 children.
Iris Sheetrit hid in a closet while the PFLP terrorists shot her mother, her 12-year-old sister, her 8-year-old brother and youngest 5-year-old brother. After they left, she came out and saw her younger brothers lying on the floor. Her dying mother told her to run away and hide.
While these attacks took place in the seventies, the terrorist group has continued to carry out killings. The United States government has designated the PFLP as an FTO or Foreign Terrorist Organization. That means providing material support or resources to the terrorist group is punishable by up to life in prison.
But supporting an FTO doesn’t preclude you from becoming a senior adviser to a presidential candidate.
At least not when that candidate is Bernie Sanders.
Agnew had been a longtime surrogate for the Sanders campaign. He’s been campaigning in Mississippi for Sanders alongside fellow surrogate Danny Glover. Glover had worked with the Black Panthers, a violent racist hate group, was a longtime supporter of Castro and the socialist regime in Venezuela.
"We all embraced Hugo Chavez as a social champion of democracy, material development, and spiritual well-being," Glover had declared.
At a prayer breakfast, during Bernie’s failed effort to win in South Carolina, Al Sharpton, the racist hate group leader, declared that he knows Bernie because he knows his surrogates like, Nina Turner, Cornel West and Phillip Agnew. West is a friend of Louis Farrakhan, the racist leader of the Nation of Islam, who had praised Hitler. He’s a supporter of Hugo Chavez, and is a 9/11 Truther, and a BDS supporter.
Despite Bernie’s insistence that his chosen flavor of socialism is European, the presence of Agnew, Glover, and, West, are reminders that it’s revolutionary Marxism that excites his base.
The Dream Defenders curriculum included support for the Sandinistas: the Marxist thugs who had ethnically cleansed the Miskito Indians and the country’s Jewish community, throwing firebombs at a synagogue, that the regime later seized, while shouting, “Death to the Jews”. More recently, the Sandinistas under Ortega had actually opened fire on a church.
But Bernie Sanders had visited Nicaragua and returned, singing the praises of the Marxist regime. He’s praised Castro, and defended brutal Marxist regimes across the region.
If Sanders were to win the White House, would the Blackout Curriculum be endorsed by the Department of Education? Could we see 6th graders across America being indoctrinated to support terrorism?
And anti-Semitism?
Phillip Agnew had slurred Israel as “ethnic privilege masquerading as a Jewish State” and accused Jews of having replicated, “the cruel discrimination and displacement that led to the founding of your supposed “homeland”. Then he declared that Dream Defenders supports BDS. But Bernie Sanders is surrounded by BDS supporters, including Cornel West, Linda Sarsour, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Danny Glover, and others.
Sanders is touting the support of Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson. The racist bigot had previously claimed that Obama’s reign would stop the "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades".
The Sanders campaign is full of bigots and supporters of Marxist terrorist organizations.
What does all of this mean for America?
"#thankyouferguson for your Molotov,” Bernie’s new senior adviser had tweeted. That same year, he boasted that he was not an activist, but a militant.
Win or lose, the primary or the election, the Sanders campaign is meant to wreck America. Bernie Sanders claims that he wants a revolution. Take him at his word. His surrogates and advisers do.
Bernie Sanders’s 2020 campaign has embraced the far left group Dream Defenders, which seeks to “abolish prisons” and has promoted a designated terrorist group.
Sanders’s website touts Dream Defenders’s endorsement and a co-director of the group is a prominent Sanders campaign surrogate.
Democratic Florida Gov. candidate Andrew Gillum’s 2018 campaign was criticized for his ties to Dream Defenders, but Sanders has fully embraced the radical group.

The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).
Could that have anything to do with the pro-Sharia Sarsour’s view of Israelis?
