Antifa has pledged to protect a Drag Queen Story Time event at a Texas library to ensure that protesters will not interrupt the children’s exposure to the far-left’s trans agenda.
“The time of the fascist event opposing story time is 1 pm. We need to be there at 12:30 so we have enough bodies to take the space. Story time is from 3 to 3:45 pm,” the ATX Resistance Action stated.
“Our purpose is to create a sound and visual barrier of bodies between the fascists and those coming to the library. Must be done in a kid friendly way so the children think it’s all fun and aren’t afraid of seeing people with guns behind us.”
Ryan Hart, the pastor of Open Cathedral, has made several Facebook posts expressing anti-Trump and far-left views, even referring to God as an “undocumented queer.”
The “Drag Queen” guest for the event is called Valeri Jinxy, who has performed for the “drag troupe” known as “Poo Poo Platter.”
Texas MassResistance activists have organized a big protest outside of the Leander Library on June 15 during the “Drag Queen” event. Groups from around Texas have said they’ll join the MassResistance protest that day.
“Drag entertainment is an inherent deviant, sexually perverse affair,” MassResistance founder Tracy Shannon said in a Wednesday statement. “It is adult entertainment at its worst, and drag queens have no business reading to little children in libraries.”

NEW YORK —Two city council members in New York City who openly identify as homosexual recently hosted a Drag Queen Story Hour at a public library to celebrate a funding increase for the city’s libraries, which includes 25K allotted for drag queen reading programs.
Jimmy Van Bramer and Daniel Dromm, D-Queens, presented local drag performer Angel Elektra at the Jackson Heights library on July 25. Elektra marched in last month’s Queens Pride Parade alongside children who helped hold a banner for Drag Queen Story Hour.
“I am particularly glad that Drag Queen Story Hour has found a home at city libraries, including the Queens Public Library,” Dromm told the Sunnyside Post. “Drag Queen Story Hour is a fun and fabulous way of encouraging children to read. The flamboyancy and theatrics of Drag Queen Story Hour truly captures children’s attention and helps facilitate learning.”
“I am especially proud to support Drag Queen Story Hour, a wonderfully imaginative and inclusive program for kids that encourages acceptance and a love of reading,” similarly remarked Van Bramer. “Drag Queen Story Hour provides all kids with a space to be themselves and to see queer role models — something I desperately needed as a kid.”
New York’s 2020 budget for public libraries increased by $33 million and includes $25K for Drag Queen Story Hour programs. The Sunnyside Post reports that both Van Bramer and Dromm bookmarked $5,000 for the children’s event for their respective districts.
However, last month, some residents weren’t so thrilled about an event at the Brooklyn Public Library and protested outside of it.
“It’s one thing for a drag queen to come in costume and read kids a story. It’s another thing for them to read stories about gender fluidity,” said organizer Tag, according to the Brooklyn Eagle. “It’s about the indoctrination of these children. Just like we’re telling them there’s a tooth fairy and there’s a Santa Claus, we’re telling them they can be what they’re not.”
“What it comes down to is that this event is dangerous,” he stated. “Transgender people have the highest rate of suicide out of anyone, and to bring a child who is not even in-tune with their own body to believe that they can be something that’s biologically impossible, is irresponsible.”
One woman in Washington State who opposed a Drag Queen Story Time there wrote in an op-ed last month that she finds such depictions of women to be quite demeaning.
“Drag queens do not freak me out; they offend me to my core. Condescending remarks do not diminish the concerns of real women,” wrote Anna Bohach. “All one has to do is watch an hour of the ‘RuPaul Drag Race’ show to see the stereotypical misogynistic depictions of women. We get to watch men wear tight seductive clothing, big bouffant wigs, fake eyelashes, and over-the-top makeup, all while calling each other ‘fishy.’ ‘Fishy’ is a term used by men in drag to describe a convincing drag queen, meaning they look so much like a woman their genitalia smells of fish.”
“Let me say something about drag: a man can put on a dress, pearls and lipstick to gyrate and act like a fool to demean women. But at the end of the day he gets to take off the dress and be a man again. Women don’t get to just take off the dress. ‘Genderfluid’ Calif. Drag Queen Running for US Congress

LAFAYETTE, La. — The American Civil Liberties Union
(ACLU) has filed suit against the LaFayette Public Library in Louisiana
after officials decided to ban Drag Queen Story Time events as the
library had been sued by two other groups for originally planning to
host an event on the premises.
“The defendant’s requirement that individuals seeking to use library
space sign a form disavowing affiliation with Drag Queen Story Time as a
precondition for use of public space and also under penalty of
potential legal liability violates the First Amendment,” the lawsuit
asserts.
According to reports, the LaFayette Public Library had planned a
“Drag Queen Story Time” event in October, but was soon sued by members
of the groups Warriors for Christ and Special Forces of Liberty. The
lawsuit states that two of the plaintiffs, who are a part of Special
Forces of Liberty, identify as polygamists.
The legal challenge expressed objection to what it called a
“government endorsed effort to brainwash and indoctrinate minors to
religious (secular humanist) worldviews on sex, faith, truth, gender,
morality, and marriage in a manner that excessively entangles the
government with the religion of postmodern-western-individualistic-moral
relativism.”
“The plaintiffs have no objection to the Drag Queen Story [Time]
being held on private property. However, the plaintiffs object to the
public library’s endorsement of Drag Queen Story [Time] because the
public library is a government actor that is endorsing non-secular
activity in an manner that is excessively entangling the government with
the religion of secular humanism in a manner that relegates
non-observers of the religion of secular humanism to second

Officials with the LaFayette Public Library consequently decided to
“stand down” while the legal challenge played out in court, and are
reportedly now asking those who wish to host events at the library to
sign a form that affirms that “the purpose of [their] use of the
Lafayette Public Library’s meeting room does not pertain in any way to
‘Drag Queen Story [Time],’ directly or indirectly.”
However, two LaFayette Parish residents who want to host a drag queen
event at the library—Matthew Humphrey and Aimee Robinson—have now
entered the legal picture, filing suit with the aid of the ACLU of
Louisiana in an effort to force officials to allow the events.
“The defendant’s refusal to allow the public to use library rooms for
individuals planning Drag Queen Story Time, holding Drag Queen Story
Time or supporting Drag Queen Story Time violates the First Amendment,”
the official complaint contends.
“[T]he government ban on speech singles out a particular point of
view and content for target—supporters of Drag Queen Story Time,” it
states. “This targeted, viewpoint-based discrimination is the most
insidious of all government restrictions on speech …”
Humphrey also remarked in a statement released by the ACLU, “Kids who
are different have to know it’s okay, and kids who aren’t different
have to know it’s okay for other kids to be different. That’s what Drag

Residents in some Southern cities have pushed back against plans to bring “Drag Queen Story Hour” to their local library, an event that features men dressed as women reading stories about topics such as homosexuality and “gender fluidity” to young children in an effort to impart acceptance of those lifestyles.
“DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models,” the Drag Queen Story Hour website reads. “In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.”
In Mobile, Alabama, a group called Common Sense Campaign Tea Party has organized a protest for the story hour scheduled for this Saturday.
“Drag queens reading kids stories about homosexuality and transgenderism appears to be the latest craze sweeping public libraries in the United States and Canada,” reads the event page on Facebook. “A drag queen will read to our children ages 3 to 8 years at the Ben May Main Library, Mobile, on Saturday, Sept 8th. Kids love to play dress up, so they will be pulled in by this person.”
Fox 10 News reports residents packed a recent Mobile County Commission Meeting to express concern about the event.
“I am convinced that this event represents opening the door to many other abhorrent behavioral lifestyles, which threatens to undermine the moral fiber of this country,” Matt Morris, pastor of Woodridge Baptist Church, told the commission.
On August 25, protesters with TFP Student Action stood outside of the Freed-Montrose Public Library in Houston, Texas while “Drag Queen Story Hour” was underway.
“Will you cross your arms while public libraries destroy the innocence of children? Never!” the group chanted, according to a post on the TFP website.
It reports that one passerby returned to counter-protest, holding a sign that read “Ignore the trash” and telling the protesters, “If you died right now, you would make a lot of people very happy.”
The Associated Press reports that protesters stood in the rain outside of a story hour that was held last month in Columbus, Georgia.
In LaFayette, Louisiana, nearly 800 people have signed a petition calling for the cancellation of a Drag Queen Story Hour scheduled to be held at the LaFayette Public Library in October. According to The Daily Advertiser, men from the Delta Lambda Phi fraternity will appear in drag and read books to children ages three through six.
Mayor Joel Robideaux also recently sent Board of Control President Joseph Gordon-Wiltz an email asking for copies of all correspondence surrounding the scheduled story time, and has suggested in a statement that he is seeking how to cancel the event.
“Currently, events of the Lafayette Public Library are neither authorized nor approved by Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG), including the Drag Queen Story Time event scheduled for October 6, 2018 at the Library Main Branch,” he said. “In response to public requests, LCG is working to determine how this event was approved as a programmed event of the library, who has authority to cancel or move it, and the process for doing so.”
Gordon-Wiltz has since resigned, but has availed himself should Robideaux need additional information.

July 25, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Drag queens reading kids stories about homosexuality and transgenderism appears to be the latest craze sweeping public libraries in the United States and Canada.
On July 21, the “Intellectual Freedom committee” of the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) published a blog post detailing highlights from the American Library Association (ALA) annual conference in New Orleans. ALSC is a division of ALA with the stated mission of “build[ing] healthy, successful futures for all children.”
“Interested in bringing Drag Queen Storytime to your library?” one of the bullet points read. “ALSC Committee Members received tips for optimizing success from library pioneers who have already done it. We also had the chance to meet a Drag Queen who talked about the value of offering this program, including fostering empathy, tolerance, creativity, imagination and fun.”
It refers readers to the official website of Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH), a program centered around “drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores.” It was created by drag queen Michelle Tea and RADAR Productions in San Francisco.
The group’s express purpose is capturing the “imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood” and giving children “unabashedly queer role models,” so kids can “imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.”
The website quotes Brooklyn Public Library youth & family services director Judy Zuckerman as endorsing the program because it “celebrates diversity” and encourages children to “embrace unfettered exploration of self.”
San Francisco librarians claimed to the Guardian that no taxpayer funds are involved, as the privately-run nonprofit Friends of the Library pays a $250 stipend to DQSH’s production company for every event. Regardless, the events’ content features a great deal of content most parents would deem offensive and, at the very least, not age-appropriate.
The group’s photos depict men wearing fake breasts and a wide variety of garish women’s clothing reading with children as young as infants, highlight two drag queens with the sexually-suggestive names Lady Busty and Miss Shameless, and promote the upcoming “children’s” book Born Bad by C.K. Smouha. Born Bad is about a wolf who doesn’t want to be a wolf, meets a variety of animals who can change their physical characteristics, and ultimately dresses up as a sheep.
The website cites a variety of favorable media coverage that contains several revealing details, such as a Guardianreport revealing that one drag queen read a “book about how families can have a mom and a dad or just one mom or two dads,” Tea’s admission to LA Weekly that the “books we choose are about social justice,” and the New Yorker’saccount of drag queen Lil Miss Hot Mess attempting to get an audience of kids to repeat, “When I grow up, I want to be a drag queen.”
DQSH also sells a “Dragtivity Book” targeted at children between the ages of four and twelve. It “gives kids an inside look into what it’s like to be a drag queen,” encouraging “children and the adults in their lives to continue exploring drag and gender together” through activities such as “Create your own drag name” and “Circle your pronouns.”
As LifeSiteNews reported last week, similar events are taking place in Canadian libraries, as well, promoting similar “stories of acceptance, diversity and all different types of families” to expose small children to LGBT concepts and “non-binary” people.
“LGBT activists are determined to teach their ideology to children, and have focused their efforts on infiltrating the public school system, influencing the sex education curriculum, and ensuring that the concepts such as gender fluidity are taught from the earliest possible age,” Jonathon Van Maren wrote. “Drag queens and children’s stories about transgenderism are in—and so, again, at yet another venue—Christian parents must be out.”
In May, children’s book author Amelia Hamilton argued at Acculturated that giving DQSH time on library grounds still ultimately constitutes taxpayer support for “hyper-politicized story times that teach kids to fall into line with left-wing values.” She also contrasted liberals’ embrace of drag queens with their hostility to exposing kids to any form of conservative thought.
“As the author of two patriotic (and apolitical) children’s books, I can attest to the fact that the left is highly suspicious of exposing children to anything that could potentially be considered conservative,” Hamilton wrote. “The hate mail I received for educational books about America’s founding proved that liberals were extremely uncomfortable with patriotism, which they see as political.”
“What sort of outcry would there be if there were a children’s event promoting American exceptionalism or traditional values? An event with books about gun rights or the value of life in the womb?” she asked. “No, that would never do.”
ALSC was in the news last month after it decided to drop “Little House on the Prairie” author Laura Ingalls Wilder from the name of its annual award for children’s book authors.
The association declared that Wilder’s literary legacy “includes expressions of stereotypical attitudes inconsistent with ALSC’s core values of inclusiveness, integrity and respect, and responsiveness.”
Last Saturday, I was part of a protest against a "Drag Queen Story Hour" being held at a public library in Mobile, Alabama. These events, which are happening in libraries and public schools all across the nation, are one of the newer weapons in the homofascist arsenal, and they target little children from three to eight years old.
The events are grotesque spectacles of men dressed garishly as "women" reading "children's" books (that include feminist, homosexual and "transgender" themed stories) to little ones whose parents foolishly choose to bring them. A December 2016 column by a writer for the DailyWire reports that the "Drag Queen Story Hours" were spawned by homosexual and feminist groups in New York and San Francisco, in response to Donald Trump's election in 2016.
At Saturday's protest, those of us who stood against this demented abuse of children were greatly outnumbered, when we shouldn't have been. The militant homosexual activists aggressively worked to make sure they had a large, boisterous presence, even bussing in a group of "free hugs" t-shirt-wearing millennials. Our side was basically one local TEA Party group that had encouraged right-minded people to attend. I'm guessing we had around 50 to the other side's 200 or more.
It was a shame that more rational people were not willing to leave their comfort zone and stand outside that library to plead for the protection of little children, the most precious and vulnerable among us. The message that is sent to the world when we do not speak and stand against this wickedness is that we either don't care about the issue, or we approve of it. And even though our numbers are dwindling, as communist public school indoctrination continues on the younger generations, I know that there are still more of us than those who embrace this vile, sexual deviancy.
It may be that some people don't object to "Drag Queen Story Hour" because they have been deceived by the militant homosexual activists' propaganda campaign, which really got an aggressive boost under Barack Obama's regime. Its messaging seeks to normalize perversion, especially in the minds of school children and college kids. The deceptions they use to sell their depraved, dangerous behavior include calling it "love" (no, it's lust), claiming it is "equality" they desire (we're all already equal under the law), and falsely labeling as "hate" the truth we tell about the corrupt, deadly reality of homosexual and "transgender" behaviors.
Another false argument they make is that "drag queens" must be allowed to do this, because it's a First Amendment issue. It is not! It's a child corruption issue, and we have plenty of laws against harming children. It doesn't matter to me if no one in the world can understand the fact that perverts dressed as "women" reading homosexual propaganda stories to little children is harmful to them. It remains harmful.
None of what I say will make sense to anyone who rejects God's inexorable law. To those who embrace it, what I say is plainly true. Homosexual and cross-dressing, "transgender," behaviors are wrong. They have always been, and will always be, wrong. They are examples of aggressive rebellion against God and His proper design for mankind's sexuality. These bad behaviors lead to all sorts of misery for those who choose to engage in them, including inordinately high rates of suicide and suicide attempts, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, mental illness and disease.
This is why it is an unspeakable outrage that these demonically-inspired people are targeting for corruption little children across our nation, and it is purely shameful that there is not a massive fight and push-back against it by right-minded Americans.
If you could have been there last Saturday and watched as "parents" led their little ones into that library, past the cheering, pro-sodomite demonstrators, it would have broken your heart. We prayed for those precious babies and for the many deceived people who stood against us. We prayed the Lord would protect the hearts and minds of the children from the wicked influence of the transvestite reprobates who spoke and read to them.
These "Drag Queen Story Hours" will continue across our nation, unless or until many, many more of us are willing to stand firmly against them in our cities.

Mr. Pontiff (aka Santana Pilar Andrews in his drag persona) is part of a new subversion/perversion assault wave of transvestite militants from New York and San Francisco foisting themselves on Middle America because, they say, there is a “need for more queer programming for children.” And with help from the American Library Association and “progressive” public school administrators, the glittery queens are determined to reach your kids with this desperately needed “grooming” and “queer programming.”
“Drag Queen Story Hour” is the current modus operandi for spreading this particular LGBTQ “lifestyle” to the culturally deprived hinterlands. If you haven’t heard of it yet, you soon will, as it has been spreading rapidly across the country. The first inkling most of us got that something along these lines was coming was the shocking story that broke in 2017 in Long Beach, California, with the Drag Queen Story Hour at the Michelle Obama Public Library. What was especially appalling about the Long Beach event was that the drag queen looked absolutely satanic, with five long, red-tipped horns protruding from his head. (See photo below). What young child would not be terrified, confused, and traumatized by such a confrontation that would give even many adults nightmares?
On February 20, BBC News featured a story entitled “Drag queen story hour in America's Bible Belt” that focused on the controversy over the performance of five drag queens for a children’s story hour at the public library in Greenville, South Carolina. While containing a few obligatory quotes from opponents (for “balance,” of course), the BBC piece was obviously crafted to celebrate this effort by cultural elites to enlighten the backward booboisie of small town and rural America.
“Drag queen story hours — events where drag performers read to children — are moving out of the big cities and coming to conservative southern US states,” says the BBC article, which has also run in many U.S. media outlets.
“Drag Queen Story Hour was established in San Francisco in 2015, and has since spread across the US and around the world,” the British report notes. The BBC story continues:
While the Greenville story hour is not officially linked to the organization, it is part of a growing movement to bring these events to Middle America.
Jonathan Hamilt, a co-founder of Drag Queen Story Hour in New York, told the BBC they have seen "an exponential growth in the number of events in more conservative, rural and southern states over the last year".
“We have chapters in Nebraska, Indiana and Alabama. I think it is partly a reaction to the political landscape of the US right now and a need for more queer programming for children.”
Mr. Hamilt says events in rural areas “definitely see more protests”. “When you leave big liberal areas, people tend to be more conservative. Their fear can come out as anger.”
Yes, this is a common “problem” for the LGBTQI activists and their “progressive” supporters and media sympathizers: Those sexually repressed backwoods hicks get angry and just don’t appreciate the efforts of enlightened city folk who are just trying to lift them out of their pathetic ignorance.
Following standard practice, the BBC piece quotes a professor who affirms the value of the drag queen events. “Christia Spears Brown is a professor of psychology at the University of Kentucky who studies gender development in children,” noted the BBC. She told the BBC that while these events can seem ‘silly and frivolous’ they could lead to ‘positive outcomes for young children if they feel able to express themselves.’”
“Conversely we know that there are negative outcomes for children who feel pressure to conform,” Prof. Brown said. “Those children are not as psychologically stable.”
What the BBC doesn’t tell its readers is that Christia Spears Brown is hardly a neutral, non-partial “expert” in this controversial matter. To the contrary, Brown is a radical “social justice” activist and LGBTQI advocate. She is the associate chair of the Center for Equality and Social Justice at the University of Kentucky. She is also the author of Parenting Beyond Pink & Blue and other books popular with those who are promoting “queer programming” for America’s kids. In addition, Brown is an author for the Migration Policy Institute (MPI), the left-wing “open borders” lobby/think tank funded by the Carnegie, Soros, Ford, and Rockefeller Foundations.
American Library Association Aids Subversion Campaign
The American Library Association (ALA), which has championed left-wing causes for decades, is on board with the drag queen story hour agenda. The ALA website features a page entitled Libraries Respond: Drag Queen Story Hour that provides links to nearly two dozen books, articles, blogs, and websites to help activists promote this new propaganda effort. The ALA web page states:

In an article entitled The Queering of America, we provided details from the “war strategy” (their words) of homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, as presented in their book After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90’s.
Kirk and Madsen explained precisely how they and their rainbow mafia cohorts in the media, entertainment, education, religion, and politics would “overhaul straight America.” They would, they said, incrementally subvert and convert America and cleanse it from all “homophobic,” “homohating,” “anti-gay bias” attitudes.
The Kirk/Madsen book was a declaration of total war against Christian morality and all Americans who embrace that morality. We wrote at the time:
Straight America has been asleep on a deadly battlefield with a relentless enemy that is waging total war and believes in giving no quarter. We exaggerate not. In their own words to their own troops, the apostles of perversion describe their lavender jihad as “war” and constantly invoke aggressive, military terms such as “Trojan Horse,” “deception,” “propaganda,” “war strategy,” “battle tactics,” “hand-to-hand combat,” “rage,” “fury,” “enemy,” “war conference,” “attack,” “hate,” “vilify,” “destroy,” “conquer,” “subvert,” etc.
Kirk and Madsen, Harvard-trained professionals in neuropsychiatry, public persuasion, and social marketing, explained their strategy of “planned psychological attack,” which included many tactics involving the systematic use of very sophisticated psychological techniques of desensitizing, jamming, and conditioning. Anyone who reads their decades-old plan will recognize it at work in the current Drag Queen Story Hour assault. Although the opening salvos in this attack have been launched primarily through the public libraries, these have been used as conditioning and softening-up barrages to prepare for their next major battleground: the public elementary, middle, and high schools. In fact it is already happening. As we recently reported, parents of students at a Colorado middle school were furious to learn that a drag queen in full regalia was invited to participate in the school’s “Career Day” event.
The war rages on, but still, only one side is seriously fighting.
