"Author: Brad Bigney, senior pastor of Grace Fellowship Evangelical Free Church in Florence, Kentucky, is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Free Church of America. He is also a member and certified counselor of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors and a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors."
Also see Vimeo video: http://vimeo.com/36942766, and http://vimeo.com/41521310.
Brad Bigney has no trouble on his website http://bradbigney.wordpress.com/category/recommended-reading/, recommending at the same time a large list of emerging, neo-evangelical, neo-reformed, continuationist, contemplative, and Sovereign Grace authors, including John Piper, Paul Tripp, C.J. Mahaney, Tim Keller, Dave Harvey, Joshua Harris, Eugene Peterson, Andy Stanley, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Bill Hybels, Mark Driscoll, James MacDonald, Sam Storms, C.S. Lewis, and contemplative Brennan Manning.
It seems that Brad Bigney may be a proponent for the sufficiency of the Bible, but still integrates secular counseling principles and concepts with the Bible.
Likewise he seems to have an aversion to biblical separation when he recommends the above authors without warning or disclaimer.

We showed in a previous post about the ecumenical, apostate Evangelical Free Church with which he is a pastor:
See: Bigney's Grace Fellowship Church of Florence and Newport, Kentucky at: https://graceky.org/biblical-counseling,
on which page is a Vimeo video of David Powlison, explaining the need for counseling methods in addition to theology. See: http://vimeo.com/36063151.So, for Bigney, it appears that psychology is theoretically an indispensable adjunct, and of equal worth, to what used to be the all sufficient Bible, when you don't really believe in "sola scriptura", and give the Bible lip service and second class status in practice!
Seems like double talk when you claim you are against "integration", but for Bible and psychology as separate but equal partners under the church roof! This is denied by Bigney in the video below:
HERE, BIGNEY CLAIMS THAT WHEN YOU INTEGRATE PSYCHOLOGY WITH THE BIBLE, THE BIBLE LOSES:
