Before departure, Dr. Negm said that during his participation, he will deliver lectures on Islam at the universities, schools, and churches in US with the aim of responding to the prevailing hate speech against Islam and Muslims in the West.

This is a particularly concerning time to have a man such as the advisor to the Egyptian mufti Dr. Ibrhaim Negm in America; he’ll be speaking at universities, which are notorious for harboring Muslim Brotherhood offshoots such as the Muslim Students Associations and Palestinian Solidarity Networks. Negm will be perpetuating the “Islamophobia” subterfuge.

Negm is participating “in week-long activities meant to shed light on Islam.” Shedding “light” on Islam by Negm means leaving out the 1,400-year violent jihad component and spreading propaganda. For example, these are the views of Negm concerning the Palestinian jihad, which has not only affected Israelis and Jews everywhere, and tars anyone who supports Zionism as enemies and “racists.”

The Secretary General of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, vehemently condemned the continued violations and atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation forces against unarmed Palestinians and their prevention from performing prayers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Dr. Negm stated that the occupation forces must immediately end their provocative actions that are an affront to religious figures and the sacred sites in Jerusalem. “Such violations and provocations might lead to regional religious-based conflicts, undermining all efforts exerted to reach a comprehensive and just regional peace on a two-state solution,” Dr. Negm added.

The Palestinian chant “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” signifies the total destruction of Israel, as is called for in the PLO and Hamas charters, and Negm knows this. Supporters of the Palestinian jihad do not call for an end to this goal of obliterating Israel because they support it themselves.

When Trump declared Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Negm “vehemently condemned” the action. “According to Dr. Negm, these actions enhance judaization of the occupied Jerusalem and transform its Arab-Islamic identity.”

President Trump is planning to divert an additional $7.2 billion from Department of Defense programs to pay for the wall on the United States’ southern border. Approximately half of that amount will come from military counter-drug enforcement, and the remainder from DOD construction projects to be used for additional border fencing projects.

The Washington Post reported on January 13 that the funding would give the government enough money to complete about 885 miles of new fencing by spring 2022, which is considerably more than the 509 miles the administration has slated for the U.S.-Mexican border. 

Building the border wall was one of Trump’s most important campaign promises in 2016, but securing funding to build the wall from the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives has presented him with a formidable roadblock.

Using the limited amount of funding Congress was willing to authorize, the administration has managed to start construction on small sections of the wall.

In December 2018, Trump shut down part of the government for 35 days after he refused to sign a bipartisan spending bill to fund the government in 2019 because it did not include $5.7 billion in funding for the wall. Finally, Congress compromised to give the president $1.375 billion for “existing technologies,” such as the current fencing at the southern border. 

After that standoff with Congress, in February 2019, Trump declared a national emergency (10 U.S.C. 2808 (a)) under the National Emergencies Act to unlock billions of dollars in federal funds to use to build a wall. The National Emergencies Act, enacted in 1976, empowers the president to activate special powers during a crisis. It identifies and defines 136 such emergency powers, which are tracked by the Brennan Center for Justice, among others.

An article in Vox on January 14 explored the question of which existing laws Trump might cite to access funding for the wall under his emergency declaration. The report quoted Kim Lane Scheppele, a professor at the Center for Human Values at Princeton University, who said, “It could be that by putting together a lot of different sources of emergency authority, the president could tap a lot of different funds and at least start [funding the wall]”

Scheppele named several preexisting laws the president could potentially use:

He could, for example, reallocate military spending on construction projects for the wall. One law allows the defense secretary, after a national emergency declaration, to direct the army’s civil works program to construct a structure needed for national defense and use the military budget to do it. Another lets the secretary direct other military services for construction projects. 

It appears that the president is utilizing one or more of these options.

The decision to divert funds was not met with unanimous enthusiasm, even from some Republican senators who support building of the wall.

Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) called Trump’s reported plan an “unfortunate outcome,” but he blamed Democrats for their unwillingness to meet the president’s requests to fund the border wall.

“I wish it wasn’t necessary,” Cornyn said. “The problem is, Congress has failed to appropriate adequate funds for border security, which is the reason his hand was forced.”

The United States is removing nearly two dozen Saudi military students from a training program and sending them back to Saudi Arabia following after an investigation into a deadly shooting by a Saudi aviation student at a Florida navy base last month, Attorney General William Barr said Monday. Many of the 21 cadets had contact with child pornography and possessed jihadist or anti-American material, Barr said. None is accused of having advanced knowledge of the shooting, which Barr said was motivated by “jihadist ideology” and has been classified as an act of terrorism. The 21-year-old Saudi Air Force officer, 2nd Lt. Mohammed Alshamrani, opened fire at the base in Pensacola, killing three U.S. sailors and injuring eight other people. The Justice Department has been investigating the incident as an act of terrorism. Officials have said Alshamrani hosted a party before the shooting, where he and others watched videos of mass shootings. The gunman had also apparently taken to Twitter before the shooting to criticize U.S. support of Israel and accuse America of being anti-Muslim, another U.S. official told the AP last month. Alshamrani, who was killed by a sheriff’s deputy during the rampage at a classroom building, was undergoing flight training at Pensacola, where foreign military members routinely receive instruction. It was not immediately clear on what grounds the students were being removed from the program, though the official said they were not suspected of having played any role in the attack. The precise number of students being removed was also not clear. The officials discussing the case spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak about details involved in an ongoing investigation. The plan to remove the students was first reported by CNN. The December shooting raised questions about how well international military students are screened before they attend training at American bases. Some lawmakers, including a top Republican ally of President Donald Trump, have called for Saudi Arabia to be suspended from an American military training program. Trump called for the program to be reviewed. But Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the program needed to be reevaluated after the attack. A Saudi commanding officer had ordered all students from the country to remain at one location at the base after the attack. National security adviser Robert O’Brien said in an interview on Fox News that the shooting “showed that there had been errors in the way that we vetted” the students. The actions being taken by the Justice Department and Defense Department to remove the Saudi students are to “protect our servicemen and women,” he said. Federal officials are still investigating the shooting and examining evidence. Earlier this week, the FBI asked Apple to help extract data from two iPhones that belonged to the gunman. Investigators have been trying to access the two devices — an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 5 — but have been unable to access them because the phones are locked and encrypted, according to a letter from the FBI’s general counsel, Dana Boente. The FBI has received a court authorization to search the phones and the devices have been sent to the bureau’s lab in Quantico, Virginia, he said. The investigation is considered a “high-priority national security matter,” Boente said in the letter. FBI officials have sought help from other federal agencies and other experts, and investigators have been trying to guess the passwords, but those efforts have been unsuccessful, according to the letter. Apple said in a statement that it has already provided investigators with all the relevant data held by the company and would continue to support the investigators. At least one of the phones was shot by a sheriff’s deputy during the attack, but investigators believe they may still be able to extract data from the device, according to a person familiar with the matter. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

US Attorney General William Barr has demanded that Apple unlock two cellphones used by a gunman who carried out a mass shooting at a Florida military base….

But according to Barr, Saudi Arabia provided ‘complete and total support’ to the American investigation of the incident.

The attorney general also announced that the United States is removing 21 Saudi military students from a training program and sending them back to Saudi Arabia following the investigation.

Fifteen of the 21 cadets had contact with child pornography and possessed jihadist or anti-American material, Barr said.

Of the 21 cadets, 17 had social media profiles containing jihadi or anti-American content.

None of the cadets are accused of having advanced knowledge of the shooting.

It was not immediately clear on what grounds the students were being removed from the program, though the official said they were not suspected of having played any role in the attack.

Officials have said Alshamrani hosted a party before the shooting, where he and others watched videos of mass shootings.

The gunman, who used a Glock 9 mm weapon that had been purchased legally in Florida, had also apparently taken to Twitter before the shooting to criticize US support of Israel and accuse America of being anti-Muslim, another US official said last month….

New undercover video from Project Veritas shows Bernie Sanders Field Organizer Kyle Jurek defending the efficacy of Soviet Union gulags and bragging that the Sanders campaign is embedded with many more “anarcho-communists” like him.

The new video, part of PV’s continued #Expose2020 series, continues to follow Jurek, a paid Sanders Iowa staffer, as he explains his radical far-left philosophy of exterminating conservatives, overthrowing law and order, and using Democrat campaigns as a vehicle to covertly introduce Marxism to the mainstream.

“I’m all aboard for gulags,” Jurek said. “Like, I feel there needs to be re-education for a significant portion of our society.”



“So that was the intention of gulags, right?” Jurek continues. “Not only to elim- like, remove, like people that were insidious to the state from the state. Like, and that’s what it has to be. Actually, gulags were a lot better than what the CIA has told us that they were.”

Jurek then reveals that Antifa and other violent far-left radical individuals are embedded in the Sanders campaign.

“In fact there, that I know of – one two three, one two three four – four of the organizers in this office are leftists of some degree, further than the Democratic Socialists,” Jurek said.

“I’m an anarcho-communist…I’m as far left as you can possibly get. There’s a lot of ‘me’s’ in the Bernie campaign.”

“There’s some [Antifa] here, a lot of them are probably on the Bernie campaign, but there is a DSA chapter here so like some of the DSA folks would probably, we’ve been looking for an action to like participate in…in regards to immigration and ICE, we’ve been looking for something to pop off so we can fucking pop right back off,” he added.

Jurek also explains that anyone who gets in the way of the far-left’s overthrow of the country will be systematically killed.

“We don’t f---ing want to have to like eliminate people, right?” Jurek said. “Like you can give them a choice, like hey, you can join the revolution, you can not be a bootlicker, you could sit idly by and allow it to happen, but if you’re going to take up arms against the revolution, then you should expect a violent response.”

In the first part of PV’s #Expose2020 series, Jurek warned that “fucking cities will burn” if Trump is re-elected, and that if Bernie becomes president, millions of conservatives will be sent to Soviet-style gulag prisons.

Notably, CNN didn’t ask Sanders a single question related to Jurek’s disturbing remarks from within his campaign, despite Owen Shroyer asking moderator Anderson Cooper if he’d consider bringing that up.

No Mention of China’s Human Rights Violations During Trade Deal Signing

Missing during the self-congratulatory handshaking that accompanied the signing of the Phase One trade deal on Wednesday was any mention that China remains one of the worst offenders of human rights in the world, if not in all of human history. It wouldn’t have been politic to bring up such a sordid subject. One wouldn’t want to spoil the mood. For the millions suffering from human-rights abuses and violations in China, the silence was deafening.

A week ago, the Congressional-Executive Commission on China issued its report on those abuses, stating that “the human rights and rule of law conditions in China continued to worsen this past year.” The 24-page report expounded and expanded on those abuses:

During its 2019 reporting year, the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (Commission) found that the human rights situation has worsened and the rule of law continued to deteriorate, as the Chinese government and Party increasingly used regulations and laws to assert social and political control.

The Chinese government continued its crackdown on “citizen journalists” who report on human rights violations, with mainstream Chinese journalists calling conditions in China an “era of total censorship.”

The abuse of criminal law and police power to target rights advocates, religious believers, and ethnic minority groups also continued unabated, and reporting on such abuses became increasingly restricted.

China‘s communist leaders have no compunction over controlling the behavior of their citizen/serfs by surveilling them and incarcerating potential troublemakers in concentration camps:

The Chinese government has become more efficient in the use of advanced technology and information to control and suppress the people of China.

Nowhere is this more of a concern than in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), where the Commission believes Chinese authorities may be committing crimes against humanity against the Uyghur people and other Turkic Muslims.

Over the past year, Chinese authorities have expanded a system of extrajudicial mass internment camps in [Xinjiang]. Although the true number of detainees has not been publicly reported, experts estimate one million or more Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Hui, and others currently are or have been detained and subjected to abuse and forced labor in mass internment camps.

The report called for sanctions against Chinese officials, such as President Xi Jinping, who are responsible for these violations and concluded: “Rising authoritarianism in China is one of the most important challenges of the 21st century.… U.S. foreign policy must prioritize the promotion of universal human rights and the rule of law in China.”

There was not one word about this report or China’s abuses during Wednesday’s ceremonies. It just wouldn’t have been seemly.

When Ken Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch (HRW), attempted to enter Hong Kong on January 12 to hold a press conference about its latest report, “China’s Global Threat to Human Rights,” he was denied entry. Said Roth, “I had hoped to spotlight Beijing’s deepening assault on international efforts to uphold human rights. The refusal to let me enter Hong Kong vividly illustrates the problem.”

The problem? The problem is that any dissent or attempted exposure of those abuses and violations will be met with sanctions. Just ask Daryl Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets NBA team, who tweeted his support for Hong Kong protestors. On October 4 he tweeted: “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong.”

The roof fell in on Morey. The Chinese Basketball Association suspended all cooperation with his team, while CCTV5, the sports channel of China’s top state forecaster, announced it would no longer air Rockets’ events on state television.

Right behind were Li-Ning Company (which makes sportswear) and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, which said they were severing relations with his team over his comments. Within days, all 11 all official Chinese business partners of the NBA suspended ties with the league

In a microcosm, what Morey experienced is the desired end result of China’s using every means at its disposal, including advanced technology and its insinuation into the communications culture of its enemy, to keep the truth about its abuses from being told.

That war against the truth has been waged by China for years. The result, said Human Rights Watch, is a “perfect storm” — a “powerful centralized state, a coterie of like-minded rulers, a void of leadership among countries that might have stood for human rights, and a disappointing collection of democracies willing to sell the rope that is strangling the system of rights that they purport to uphold.”

That would include the United States and the current administration. 

Written before the glad-handing and congratulatory lauding over the signing of Phase One that took place in Washington on Wednesday, HRW was blunt: “U.S. President Trump has been more interested in embracing friendly autocrats than [in] defending the human rights standards that they flout.”

In Washington on Wednesday, the silence over China’s egregious and accelerating human rights abuses was deafening. Silence is assent and the voices of those in agony were silenced instead.

This my friends, was by far one of the most horrifyingly disturbing videos I have ever had to make. Prior to my past few weeks of tireless and exhausting research, I knew Heidi Baker was “bad”, but— I certainly did not know she was this “bad.”
