HISTORY OF AWANA'S CONTEMPLATIVE TRACK RECORD & IMPLICATIONS OF THEIR NEW CEO

HISTORY OF AWANA'S CONTEMPLATIVE TRACK RECORD & IMPLICATIONS OF THEIR NEW CEO
SEE: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/newsletters/2016/newsletter20160321.htmrepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

For over a decade  now, Lighthouse Trails editors have been concerned about the direction that the AWANA children’s club is heading. Today, in this report, we want to first give an overview of our past decade of reporting on AWANA, and then we want to share some new information that should concern every parent and grandparent who has a child or grandchild in AWANA.
It was just over ten years ago, in Feb of 2006, that we posted our first article about AWANA after having contacted them about our concerns. That article talked about connections AWANA had with Willow Creek (for documentation on Willow Creek, see links at the end of this article). In that article, we stated:
Awana Clubs has been a respected and trusted Christian organization for many years. Countless children have been Cubbies and Sparkies and have memorized Scripture through the program.
With so much of the church heading into the contemplative/emergent camp, also known as the spiritual formation movement, what a tragedy it would be to see Awana being sucked into this also. Few things are stable these days … is Awana the next to cave in?
As 2006 moved forward, our concerns heightened as AWANA continued promoting contemplative materials and the Spiritual Formation movement and showed no signs of breaking away from Willow Creek.
In 2007 and 2008, we posted a number of other articles documenting the organization’s move into the “new” emerging spirituality. Two phone calls from us and sending printed materials had no apparent effect. And as one of our articles stated, “Today, we received another email [from AWANA] backing up their insistence that nothing is amiss.”1In one article we wrote in 2007, we explained:
Awana is showing signs that it is becoming a full-blown contemplative organization. First of all, through Awana’s prison project, the organization is incorporating New Age sympathizer Ken Blanchard’s Lead Like Jesus Encounter program. On July 13th, we spoke with Lyndon Azcuna, Awana Cross Cultural Ministries director, who told us he was a Lead Like Jesus facilitator. Azcuna works in the main headquarters office of Awana. He said that the project was using Ken Blanchard’s materials. When we explained to him that Blanchard promoted the New Age and mystical meditation, he said that the program did not have these elements.
However, the Lead Like Jesus Encounter is largely based on Blanchard’s book, Lead Like Jesus, and that book does include contemplative elements. For instance, in the chapter called “The Habits of a Servant Leader” a palms-up, palms-down exercise is described (something Richard Foster has encouraged)(p. 158). The book gives a typical instruction on contemplative:
“Before we send people off for their period of solitude, we have them recite with us Psalm 46:10 in this way: Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know. Be still. Be…. When people return from their time of solitude, they have big smiles on their faces. While many of them found it difficult to quiet their mind, they say it was a powerful experience. The reality is most of us spend little if any time in solitude. Yet if we don’t, how can God have a chance to talk with us?”
For Awana to include Ken Blanchard’s teachings into its organization, shows that the situation is quite serious.
In that same article in 2007, we announced the release of a book, partly authored by two AWANA leaders (at that time), called Children’s Perspectives on  Spiritual Formation. We stated:
[T]here is something even more disquieting with regard to Awana and their slide into contemplative – a book that is recommended by Awana and also carried by the Awana store: Perspectives on Children’s Spiritual Formation. A description of the book is as follows:
“In children's ministry, models, methods, and materials abound. How do you decide what direction you want your ministry to children to take? Perspectives on Children's Spiritual Formation allows you to examine the four prominent points-of-view in the church today. You will then be able to make a more informed decision on the way in which your ministry should take.”
The book offers four different views on how to transform children. One author, Scottie May, a professor at Wheaton, writes the section titled, “Contemplative-Reflective Model.” May gives a hearty promotion of centering prayer, the Jesus prayer, Christ candles, the Catholic Eucharist and an strong endorsement for contemplative spirituality ala Thomas Merton, whom she favorably quotes in the book. Two Awana staff writers respond in the book to May’s contemplative approach and give it a thumbs up with only minor cautions. But overall they believe that contemplative is a valid approach for all Christians, including children. Perspectives on Children’s Spiritual Formation is giving a green light to Awana leaders around the world to practice contemplative prayer.
In 2007, we wrote an article titled “Awana Revisited: Is it or is it not promoting contemplative spirituality?” that examined in more detail the book (Children’s Perspectives on  Spiritual Formation) that was still being promoted by AWANA. Here are a couple quotes from that book written by the two AWANA leaders:
Page 82: “In his excellent overviewStreams of Living Water, Richard Foster outlines six different spiritual traditions that present within the Christian faith. They are the contemplative tradition, the holiness tradition, the charismatic tradition, the social justice tradition, the evangelical tradition, and the incarnational tradition. Each of these has played an important part in the larger history of the Christian church…. Each of these traditions has made significant contributions to Christian spirituality and each has weaknesses when isolated from other traditions. (bold added)
P. 83-84: “While we believe that the Contemplative-Reflective Model highlights some significant needs in children’s spiritual formation, we should see it as an addition to the base provided for us in the Scriptures….We share agreement with the Contemplative-Reflective Model in a number of areas … we have much to learn from the Contemplative-Reflective Model. Many of our children’s programs are far from reverential, and the constant barrage of impulses does not seem to help in developing this interior life [this is the mystical contemplative life that Teresa of Avila practiced].” (bold added)
Our response in 2007 to these and other comments from the book was:
If the Awana writers in this book are trying to persuade readers that they do not promote contemplative spirituality, they have done a terrible job in expressing this. On the contrary, they have given minor cautions and major affirmations. They conclude with: “Given this framework, the Contemplative-Reflective Model becomes, at best, an important tool in helping provide a balanced development of the Christian spiritual life” (p. 87). While Carson and Crupper [the two AWANA leaders] point out some of the flaws in the Contemplative-Reflective Model, they make it clear that there is much good in it. Their response to contemplative spirituality leaves one message to readers: contemplative has some problems but if incorporated with other spiritual traditions, it has great value. And it is this attitude that is going to take Awana down a slippery slope of deception, unless they truly come to understand the underlying dangers of contemplative and then make every effort to rid Awana of its influence. (bold added)
In 2012, we contacted the publisher of Children’s Perspectives in Spiritual Formation and learned that the book was still in active print. Sadly, AWANA leadership had decided that the contemplative approach was valid.
In November of 2015, we posted a letter to the editor titled “Concerns By Awana Leader About Awana Linking Hands with the Emerging Church.” The letter from one of our readers who was a former AWANA leader, stated:
Dear Lighthouse Trails:
My family has been involved with the Awana ministry for almost 20 years both as “clubbers” and leaders.
Awana came out with new junior high curriculum. I reviewed one of the books and was not happy. The high school level curriculum too is in the process of being re-written with the help of a man named Josh Griffin. Josh Griffin is the high school pastor for Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church. Griffin is associated with Doug Fields who was a speaker for Youth Specialties, then went on to be a youth pastor for Saddleback before returning back to work for Youth Specialties. Both Fields and Griffin have written books together and share a blog.
In September, Awana sent out an e-mail invitation to the 2015 National Youth Convention put on by Youth Specialties. Awana had a booth there.
A link on the e-mail connects to a promotional video where you see many people including Tony Campolo. Also Mark Matlock, the director of Youth Specialties tells his audience, “Youth ministry reminds the church that teens are not marginalized members of the body, but are co-creators and conspirators in the divine work of the church.”
This is chilling considering that the words co-creators and conspirators are words associated with the New Age.
Speakers of the conference included such emerging church personalities as Doug Fields, Dan Kimball, Tony Campolo, Mike King,Jim Burns, and Alan Hirsch. Josh Griffin was the M.C. for the worship sessions.
The convention also offered spiritual directors for one-on-one sessions.
It is truly sad to see Awana linking hands with the emerging church movement.
This brings us to the present, 2016. On March 9th of this year, a press release came out announcing the retirement of long-time AWANA president Jack Eggar who was being replaced by an interim president and CEO, Valerie Bell. Bell is a member of Willow Creek (and her husband is a Vice President of Willow Creek Association). The fact alone that AWANA has selected someone from Willow Creek to lead AWANA should be enough to show that AWANA has at least in part absorbed the spirituality of Willow Creek, which is the spirituality of the emerging church (and that is NOT guilt by association). But the selection of Valerie Bell has even deeper roots in the “new” spirituality.
While Bell has some disconcerting resource links on her website, the one that stands out the most is Hungry Souls, the website of David and Karen Mains.  For a number of years, the Mains have had affinity with New Age concepts and teachings as has been brought out by a number of different discernment ministries (you can do a search on the Internet and see this for yourself). For example, a 2005 article by pastor, researcher, and author Gary Gilley reveals that in a book written by Mains, Lonely No More, Mains “chronicled her journey into Jungian psychology, visualization and the occult.” Gilley stated, “The spiritual path that Karen Mains describes in Lonely No More can easily be found in most occult spiritual transformation books.” That book, Lonely No More remains available today on Amazon as a Kindle book.
In a more recent book of Mains, The God Hunt, in a Further Reading section in the back, a number of contemplative/new spirituality authors are listed including Tilden Edwards (co-founder of the panentheistic Shalem Prayer Institute in Washington, DC), emerging church leader, the late Phyllis Tickle, and contemplatives Esther de Waal and Kathleen Norris.
Furthermore, on Karen Mains’ site in an article titled “The Practice of Silence,” she says, “I became convinced that no deep spiritual growth could occur in my life without the practice of silence that allows us to develop the capacity of holy listening.” This “holy listening” and the “practice of silence,” of course, is contemplative prayer.
There is no question that Bell and Mains share a spiritual affinity. In 2008, they traveled to France together and lead a group in a 10-day “pilgrimage.” Promotional advertising for the trip said:
We will teach you how to “read” great art and then how to use those same viewing exercises to develop a contemplative prayer practice for the soul.
Among various teachings and practices included in the trip was instruction in the contemplative practice, Lectio Divina.
In addition to promoting David and Karen Mains, Valerie Bell shares her own views on contemplative spirituality on her website. On a page with the subtitle Soul Care (another way of saying contemplative), it says:
Valerie has a strong interest in soul-care as a way to find spiritual well-being and relationship with a loving God. Her approach invites people to learn spiritual practices that can sustain them through the most difficult life challenges. Her book, A Well-Tended Soul, describes the nuances of that inner journey and is a core resource to her spiritual formation seminars. (bold added)
There is no question that AWANA  is becoming a whole-hearted emerging/contemplative organization, and children in the program will eventually feel the effects. Unfortunately, deception can often be slow and subtle so parents may not realize their AWANA Cubbies and Sparkies are being influenced, a little more week after week through the AWANA curriculum. While we still believe there are AWANA local teachers who love the Lord and are trying to present a biblical view, the handwriting has been on the wall for over a decade, and it’s getting easier to read all the time.

CHRISTIAN NASA ASTRONAUT SOON TO BREAK RECORD IN SPACE: "I DON'T FIND CONFLICT WITH SCIENCE & SCRIPTURES"

CHRISTIAN NASA ASTRONAUT SOON TO BREAK RECORD IN SPACE: "I DON'T FIND CONFLICT WITH SCIENCE & SCRIPTURES"
BY GARRETT HALEY
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

A veteran NASA astronaut who will soon become the American record holder for most days in space is an outspoken professing Christian who believes that scientific research confirms the Bible’s creation account.
Jeff Williams is a 58-year-old astronaut with a decorated career at NASA spanning two decades. According to his online biography, he served as a flight engineer on a space shuttle flight in 2000, helping deliver and install over 5,000 pounds of equipment and supplies for the development and construction of the International Space Station (ISS). In both 2006 and 2009-10, Williams served six-month tours of duty on the ISS.
On Friday, Williams—along with two Russian cosmonauts—launched into space for another six-month mission at the ISS. This most recent space flight, Williams’s fourth, will be historic.
“During his six-month mission, Williams will become the American record holder for cumulative days in space—534—surpassing Expedition 46 Commander Scott Kelly, who wrapped up his one-year mission March 1,” NASA explained in a Friday press release. “Williams will take command of the station on June 4 for Expedition 48. Williams … will remain aboard the station until early September 2016.”
“Williams is now the first American to become a three-time, long-term resident of the International Space Station,” NASA noted.
Early on Saturday, Williams posted pictures of his expedition’s launch on Twitter. “It is great to be back on board @Space_Station, an amazing orbital outpost!” he wrote.
Williams is not only an accomplished astronaut; he is also outspoken about his profession of the Christian faith. In 2010, he wrote a book entitled “The Work of His Hands,” which showcased vivid photographs he took while on board the ISS in 2009-2010, along with numerous Bible verses.
Williams says there is no conflict between his Christianity and his work for NASA.
“There is a generalization that anyone who worked for NASA, or an organization like that, would naturally be an atheist, but that’s not true,” he told the Institute for Creation Research in an interview last year.
“There are many Christians in the organization, many Christians in other government agencies—there are Christians everywhere,” Willams explained. “The work that I do and have done through my military career and with NASA has been perfectly compatible with the Scriptures, and I’ve lived out my life as a Christian, and there’s been no issue there.”
Likewise, there is no conflict between the Bible and honest science, Williams says.
“I don’t find a conflict with true science—genuine science with integrity—and the Scriptures,” he stated. “I have found that in all cases where there is a conflict, it’s not a conflict with the science, it’s a conflict with the presupposition going in. … If somebody perceives science to be in conflict with, for example, the early chapters of Genesis, it’s not the science, it’s the presupposition that goes into it.”
“If you have a presupposition that excludes the possibility of a God, that excludes the possibility of supernatural acts, and that [believes] everything has to be explained just with natural processes, then you’ve basically limited what you can let the objective observation of science tell you,” Williams continued. “That’s where the issue comes in. I presuppose God. And I presuppose the truth of the Scripture.”

"WAGE INSURANCE": OBAMA'S NEW SAFETY NET ADDS TO THE NATIONAL DEBT; WILL SUPPLEMENT UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE

FREEDOM OF JOB MARKET PUT AT RISK
Wage Insurance: Paycheck Socialism
BY WALTER MCLAUGHLIN
SEE: http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/economics/item/22803-wage-insurance-paycheck-socialismrepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Following the adoption of the $15 minimum wage in Seattle and numerous other cities, and with presidential candidate Bernie Sanders calling for an $18-trillion explosion of “democratic socialism” upon the United States, alarms bells are sounding loudly over the direction of the country. If President Obama has his way (and presumably Hillary Clinton as well), another phase of the advancement of socialism in America may soon come to fruition: wage insurance.
What Is Wage Insurance?
Simply put, wage insurance is payment by the government to workers who take jobs that pay less than their previous employment. Obama explained the idea in his State of the Union address last January:
Say a hardworking American loses his job  —  we shouldn’t just make sure he can get unemployment insurance; we should make sure that program encourages him to retrain for a business that’s ready to hire him. If that new job doesn’t pay as much, there should be a system of wage insurance in place so that he can still pay his bills.
There would be limits to both dollars paid and the number of years in which payments could be received, but the effect is chilling: Obama is proposing that the United States take a headfirst plunge into socialism by paying fully employed workers taxpayer dollars simply for taking lesser employment. Income redistribution doesn't get more obvious.
Socialism in the United States
Proponents like to point out that socialism is already ingrained into the fabric of our economy. Case in point: unemployment insurance. Payroll taxes are deducted from an employee's paychecks so that if said individual were to become unemployed, a reservoir of funds is available from which to draw upon until a new job is secured. Other so-called examples of socialism include Social Security, government agencies, public schools, roads/bridges, police and fire departments, garbage collection, public libraries, the military, and the prison system.
For the most part, these examples are red herrings. Government services are provided to the collective out of sheer necessity, as there is no easy way to run a government without government services, garbage collection, prisons, and the like. Social safety net programs such as unemployment insurance may be an exception, but they are means-tested and designed to provide an economic floor to stave off financial disaster.
Wage Insurance Already Exists in the United States
Those unwilling to believe that the United States would consider taking such a drastic step have likely never heard of the Reemployment Trade Adjustment Assistance program, which was quietly written into the Trade Act of 2009. The program allows workers 50 years old and older, who have been adversely affected by trade-related job displacement, government benefits up to 50 percent of the difference between the worker's previous salary and their current income, with various restrictions and limitations.
Obama's proposal goes much further. Anyone accepting a lower-paid job would be eligible for government benefits.
How Does It Differ From Unemployment Insurance?
Wage insurance differs from unemployment insurance in one major respect: The government would pay workers already gainfully employed simply because they willingly took a job that did not pay as much as their previous employment.
Brookings economist and wage insurance advocate Gary Burtless explains the concept as follows: "[Wage insurance] would provide experienced, laid-off workers with monthly or quarterly earnings supplements, compensating them for a portion of their lost wages."
To date, the various iterations of the program would have dollar limitations as well as a cap on the number of years. Obama's proposal was for a $10,000 wage subsidy per year over a two-year period. Others have called for maximum outlays as high as $50,000 per worker.
Wage Insurance Has Already Been Tried in Canada
Obama's proposal has been tried — unsuccessfully — in Canada. The Canadian Earnings Supplement Project was initiated in the mid-1990s and was tested on two groups of 5,912 displaced workers in 1995 and 1996. It was also even more generous than the system proposed by Obama, supplementing reduced wages at a 75 percent rate.
The net results:
• Unemployment durations were reduced slightly, but not significantly.
• The program had almost no effect on overall unemployment benefits received.
• Wage insurance could prompt longer unemployment in certain cases.
If Canada's attempt at wage insurance provided few tangible benefits despite an even more generous supplement, it's likely that such an effort in the United States would suffer a similar fate.
A Simple Cost/Benefit Analysis Points Out the Folly of Wage Insurance
Most Americans desire basic social safety net programs. A Fox News poll in 2014 revealed that 69 percent of respondents felt unemployment insurance should be available for at least a year — twice as long than the current authorized period of 26 weeks.
However, Obama's wage insurance proposal rewards workers for quickly taking lower-paying jobs. It would also come with a hefty price tag — in 2007, it was estimated that the program could cost up to $4 billion per year. Given that the U.S. population has grown by more than 20 million over the past nine years, and after factoring in inflation, it's probable that the cost would now be well north of $5 billion. With an already-strained federal budget, an overtaxed populace should have little desire to foot the bill for yet another unnecessary government program.
Lastly, FreedomWorks points out socialism's fatal flaw — the elimination of incentives — as a key reason why wage insurance is a spectacularly bad idea:
If employers know that the government will be chipping in part of the pay for their new hires, they will quickly realize that they can get away with paying these people less. Eventually, take home pay will level off at where it was before the subsidy, and workers will experience no benefit from the insurance at all. In this way, Obama’s proposal is self-defeating.
The Free Market Should Reign Supreme
During this election cycle, populist economics have become a front-and-center grab bag by the candidates for both parties. Despite the promises, pronouncements, and braggadocio, little of what any of the candidates have espoused is likely to be enacted by Congress.
Wage insurance is an example of an idea that should forever remain on the drawing board. Although America has slowly edged toward socialism, the sooner incentive is removed from the economy, the quicker the demise of the American Dream will be at hand. That's the cost an overzealous federal government should never ask us to pay.

ISLAMIC TERRORISM SPREADS GLOBALLY WHILE AMERICAN LEFTIST SOROS FUNDED THUGS CREATE CIVIL UNREST, ATTACK TRUMP FOR "RACISM"

Video: Muslim migrants punch, kick, ram journalists with car in Sweden’s “Little Mogadishu” no-go zone

BY ROBERT SPENCER
SEE: http://www.jihadwatch.org/2016/03/video-muslim-migrants-punch-kick-ram-journalists-with-car-in-swedens-little-mogadishu-no-go-zonerepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Of course, only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” believe that no-go zones exist. Oh, and maybe the journalists who were punched, kicked, and rammed with a car. Years ago I walked through Molenbeek in Belgium, and was very strongly admonished by a resident there, with an unmistakable hint of menace, not to take any photographs. The same impulse is on display here: the journos were “confronted by a group who objected to them filming.” Islamic supremacists for some reason dislike being photographed or filmed.
“Watch: Journalists Punched, Kicked, And Rammed With Car In Sweden’s ‘Little Mogadishu’ No-Go Zone,” by Liam Deacon, Breitbart, March 20, 2016:
An Australian TV station has released a shocking report showing its crew being attacked by masked men in a Stockholm suburb know as ‘Little Mogadishu’ due to it’s primarily Somali population.
Since the report was filmed last month, Swedish police have dropped all charges, despite the migrants throwing missile and punches, fly kicking the journalist, and even running one over with a car.
The Channel Nine crew and high-profile Australian news correspondent, Liz Hayes, had traveled to the Swedish capital to investigate how the migrant “overload” has affected Swedish society.
Upon entering a migrant area, Rinkeby, they were quick to discover some of those effects, and why it is that they have become known as “no-go zones”.
“They were confronted by a group who objected to them filming. There was a series of scuffles and the police were called.
“The 60 Minutes cameraman and producer were slightly injured but filming continued with police at the scene. The crew have now returned to their hotel and are all fine,” a spokesman for the channel told the Local.
A spokesman for Stockholm’s police force, Lars Byström, confirmed that the crew had filed a report, but only about a specific incident.
“We were told there was a film team and there were some youngsters who were in the car and there was some kind of argument between the team and then the driver drove over the cameraman’s foot.”
However, he later said that police had decided to close the case as “very experienced police officers” had made the decision to focus their resources elsewhere.
Several newspapers, such as the Sydney Morning Herald, have attempted to discredit the Channel Nine report by pointing out that the crew was shown around by a man who writes for a website with links to the Sweden Democrats….
Yes, that clearly means that the Muslim migrants behaved impeccably.

NYC: Leftist and Muslim anti-Trump protesters battle cops, scream “f–k the police!”

BY ROBERT SPENCER

Even those who, like me, aren’t supporters of Trump, should see what is at stake here. Everywhere Leftist protesters occupy the streets, those whose opinions are deemed insufficiently progressive are abused, mocked, ridiculed, brutalized and physically menaced. This lawlessness is rapidly becoming the norm. The American public square is being transformed beyond recognition and is ceasing to be an arena for free discourse.
Although this violence and brutalization of political opponents is a new phenomenon in American politics, it has a historical antecedent: the Nazi Brownshirts. In The Coming of the Third Reich, historian Richard J. Evans explains how, in the early days of National Socialist Germany, Stormtroopers (Brownshirts) “organized campaigns against unwanted professors in the local newspapers [and] staged mass disruptions of their lectures.”
To express dissent from Nazi positions became a matter of taking one’s life into one’s hands. The idea of people of opposing viewpoints airing their disagreements in a civil and mutually respectful manner was gone. One was a Nazi, or one was silent (and fearful). That is just the kind of public arena that the Left has been trying to bring to the United States for years, and is bringing to us now.
“‘F- the police!’ Total mayhem as protesters swarm NYC; police struggle to fight back vicious crowd,” by Carmine Sabia, BizPac Review, March 19, 2016:
It didn’t take long for protesters to take to the streets of New York City and march against Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
They were taking their cue from the other side of the country, where in Arizona protesters blocked roads, causing delays for people on their way to a Trump rally attended by former Gov. Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
The New York City protesters marched from Columbus Square to Trump Tower with signs such as “#CrushTrump” and chanted slogans like the super creative “Hey, hey – ho, ho – Donald Trump has got to go,” CNN Reported.
At one point the “peaceful” protesters, as the mainstream media continues to call them, got into an altercation with police who were trying to regain order. The following clip shows the crowd struggling against police. As tensions escalated obscenities were thrown at the officers. ‘F**k the police!’ can be heard along with other countless other insults….

These Are The Idiots That Hate Trump

VIOLENT ANARCHISTS JOIN PROTEST AT TRUMP TOWERS

Anarchist groups infiltrated by police

SEE: http://www.infowars.com/violent-anarchists-join-protest-at-trump-towers/republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

As the video below shows, NYC ANTIFA, which bills itself as an “anti-fascist” group, has joined the protest at the Trump Towers in New York.
ANTIFA has roots in the German communist party and takes its political stance from Leon Trotsky who said “fighting squads must be created” and “flabby pacifism” would not be acceptable in the struggle against fascism.
In the 1970s the Anti-Nazi League (ANL) was launched by the Socialist Workers Party and, after the socialists ejected them, Red Action was established. It is a British group that “enthusiastically espouses the use of violence.”
Although this variant ceased to exist as of 2001, it was revived as ANTIFA by the Anarchist Federation, Class War, and No Platform. ANTIFA imitated AFA’s stance of physical and ideological confrontation with patriots.
crush-trump
It should be noted that many so-called anarchist groups, including Black Bloc, have been infiltrated by the police.
Black Bloc and other compromised groups initiated violence at the G20 protest in Britain and torched a hotel in Strasbourg during a NATO summit.
In 2007 several provocateur cops were caught posing as Black Bloc anarchists during a North American Union summit in Montebello, Quebec.
In 2011 G8/G20 summit documents revealed the Canadian RCMP dispatched poseurs and agents provocateurs to infiltrate the ranks of anti-war, anti-globalization and anarchist groups. Anarchist violence has been used by police to justify heavy-handed tactics against peaceful non-violent protesters.
ANTIFA follows the standard radical leftist line, as evidenced in a Facebook post ahead of the protest in New York:
Donald J. Trump has made headlines in recent months with his divisive rhetoric, hate speech, and extremist plans to “make America great again”. We, in fact, believe this will do the opposite to this nation. Trump’s policy threatens many of us in the Latino, Muslim, LGBT, and other communities. These policies and this type of speech has no place in this country, and certainly does not have a place in the city that Trump grew his empire in, which is considered such a melting pot and home for many of the same characters Trump continues to wage war on. Join us at Columbus Circle as we march to Trump Tower as we say no to hate, no to divisiveness, no to fascist policies, and most importantly, no to Donald J. Trump.
antfa-klan-rally
It is likely ANTIFA will provoke violence at the rally in New York. As the disruption of a Trump rally in Chicago revealed, this is now the preferred tactic of radical leftists, communists and faux anarchists as they impose their radical authoritarian ideology on America.

Mexico Now Joining Anti-Trump Forces

BY BOB ADELMANN
SEE: http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/22806-mexico-now-joining-anti-trump-forcesrepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Officially Mexico says it honors the sovereignty of the United States and has no intention of interfering with the presidential elections in November. Privately, however, Mexican diplomats are gearing up to help Mexican immigrants obtain U.S. citizenship, and then urging them to vote in November. Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the Mexican consulate in Chicago, exposed the official posturing as a lie, speaking at an event last week: “This is a historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community.”
The numbers are far too small to have any impact, come November. In Dallas about 250 permanent residents attended its first “citizenship clinic” in February, while only another 150 showed up for the second in March. In Las Vegas, about 500 attended a similar seminar.
At present about 12 million Mexicans live in the United States, but fewer than three million of them are eligible to apply to become naturalized citizens, according to The New Americans Campaign.
Efforts by the Mexican government to galvanize resistance to Trump’s campaign are as likely to fail as efforts by Republican insiders to do the same. Last December Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus invited some major establishment players to a private dinner, many of whom expressed increasing anxiety as Trump continued to run away from establishment candidates in the GOP contest.
On Saturday the New York Times revealed efforts by some of those same insiders to stall Trump’s march, hoping to force a brokered convention in Cleveland in July. It outlined a 100-day campaign, beginning on April 5, the day of the Wisconsin primary, to neutralize Trump’s efforts. These insiders plan to spend millions of dollars on anti-Trump campaigns coupled with “delegate-by-delegate” lobbying efforts to turn their votes away from the front-runner.
A meeting with Club for Growth members, held last Wednesday, had the sounds of desperation. David McIntosh, the group’s president, concluded that, despite Trump’s lead (at present he leads Ted Cruz, 678 to 423), it was still possible to keep him from winning on the first ballot in Cleveland: “This is still a winnable race for a free-market conservative that’s not Donald Trump," he said, adding, "It’s not a layup, but there’s a clear path to victory.”
The next day McIntosh’s group sent a three-page memo to heavy Republican donors promising to spend as much as $2 million in the Wisconsin primary to thwart Trump’s efforts there, arguing that “the only viable option to defeat Donald Trump is Ted Cruz.”
Mitt Romney, the party’s nominee in 2012, said that he would be voting for Cruz in the Utah primary, warning that “a vote for Governor Kasich … makes it extremely likely that Trump-ism would prevail.”
Former GOP candidate Lindsey Graham lent his support for Cruz last week, as well. Graham earlier had said that choosing between Trump and Cruz would be like picking between being shot and being poisoned, but he has now overcome his distaste for Cruz and promised to help raise money for his campaign. Now almost all-in for Cruz, Graham said:
I have doubts about Mr. Trump. I don’t think he’s a Republican, I don’t think he’s a conservative. [Note: according to The New American’s Freedom Index, a conservative scorecard that rates congressmen based on their adherence to the Constitution, Graham’s FI score is a mere 61 out of 100].
I think his campaign’s built on xenophobia, race-baiting and religious bigotry. I think he’d be a disaster for our party and as Senator Cruz would not be my first choice, I think he is a Republican conservative who [sic] I could support.
The Times went on to note that if all these anti-Trump efforts fail, and he captures the Republican Party’s nomination for president on the first ballot, there is always a fall-back position: a third party for the national election, running a Republican moderate or perhaps even supporting the Libertarian Party as an alternative solution to the Trump problem.
Not everyone supports the last-ditch effort to thwart Trump’s march to the GOP nomination. Florida Governor Rick Scott told CNN on Thursday that “Donald Trump is the will of the people. We need to listen to the people, back his candidacy and win in November.”
The math is increasingly persuasive, despite GOP insiders’ desperate claims to the contrary. Arizona, New York, Pennsylvania, and California are states where Trump, at present, has commanding double-digit leads over Cruz. Three of those states are “winner-take-all,” with New York being a “proportional” state. Trump leads Cruz 54 to 11 in New York, and so he would capture 75 of that state’s 95 delegates were the primary to be held today. Add that to the other three states, and Trump’s present delegate count would jump from 678 to 1,054, just 183 votes shy of the 1,237 needed to win on the first ballot. There are still 550 other delegates remaining in contests through early June. All Trump needs to do is capture a third of them to make all the anti-Trump efforts by Mexico and GOP insiders an exercise in futility.
Of course, nothing of the sort may happen. As Winston Churchill said: “[A politician needs] the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year — and to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen.”

Black Lives Matter Threaten Violence Against Whites Who Vote Trump
Published on Mar 20, 2016
Black lives Matter spokesmen, Tef Poe has always been the voice of the bigoted group. In November 2014, Poe was even flown to the United Nations offices in Geneva, Switzerland to speak about “police violence.” Funny, now that very same person is now inciting a race riot.

And these folks think asking for an official ID card before voting amounts to intimidation? http://www.infowars.com/black-lives-m...
