Why does this keep happening? One survivor of a Muslim rape gang in the UK said that her rapists would quote Quran to her, and believed their actions justified by Islam.
The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for
sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right
hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet,
tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to
bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more
suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah
Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women
do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may

stripped naked in the street and raped an elderly woman who was sunning
herself on a beach in the Abruzzo town of Ortona on Thursday, local
sources said. The man was said to be have a protected status as immigrant. The attacker first slammed the woman’s head against some large rocks
and then forced her to submit to sexual violence, the sources said…. “I was afraid he wanted to kill me, but luckily I managed to break
free,” said the 68-year-old at a hospital where she was treated for cuts
and bruises and severe concussion.

Fahim A. a young man gets off scot-free once more. This time for stabbing a man in the back six times in 2017.
The man was already well known to police for two ongoing drug
offences as well as theft in 2014 and 2015, yet these had no weight on
the judgment by the court in Frankfurt.
“Even though we don’t live in Brazil there are also people here, who attack your honour, insult your sister and look at her.”
In May 2018 the court gave him another warning and anti-aggression
training for stabbing a man in the back six times because of a refused
handshake in April 2017.
The only reason his victim was not too seriously injured was a thick leather jacket he was wearing at the time.
The court decided because Fahim A. wrote his victim a four page
apology letter by hand and promised not to go outside the house with a
knife anymore punishment wasn’t necessary….

A Muslim imam has discovered a Sharia law book advocating
jihad and hostage taking in Melbourne international airport’s Islamic
prayer room. Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi, a Shia imam who campaigns against Islamic
extremism, saw the Arabic language book shortly before boarding a
flight. The Adelaide-based Shia religious leader and author made a video of
himself flicking through the index, which featured references to jihad,
‘taking hostages at war’ and taxing ‘infidel’ non-Muslims.
Shortly before boarding his flight, he told Daily Mail Australia a
fundamentalist Sunni Islamic law book had the potential to ‘certainly
radicalise someone’.
‘It can turn a regular traveller or a frustrated, vulnerable
traveller into an extremist,’ he said, shortly after midday on Thursday.
‘It goes against national security.’
Sheikh Tawhidi said that while the book of Islamic jurisprudence was
possibly planted by an activist, Melbourne airport needed to ‘take
action’.
Several hours later, Melbourne Airport tweeted to Sheikh Tawhidi to
confirm they had removed the Arabic language book, Fiqh us-Sunnah, by
Egyptian Sunni Islamic scholar As-Sayyid Sabiq.
‘Thanks for your message. We have a publicly accessible multi-faith
prayer room open to travellers of various religions,’ it said.
‘The book has been removed for assessment of its suitability.’
The book about the practices of the Prophet Mohammad was authored by a
prominent member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a pan-Sunni Islamist group
campaigning for a global Islamic caliphate….

pm (CNA/EWTN News).- At least 42 people have died in an attack Thursday
on the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Alindao, in the Central African
Republic, according to local reports. At least one priest was among those killed in the Nov. 15 attack.
Some unofficial estimates have said the death toll could reach as high
as 100. Many of the people killed were refugees sheltering at the
Church.
The CAR has suffered violence since December 2012, when several bands
of mainly Muslim rebel groups formed an alliance, taking the name
Seleka, and seized power.
In reaction to the Seleka’s attacks, some Central Africans formed
self-defense groups called anti-balaka. Some of these groups, mainly
composed of Christians, began attacking Muslims out of revenge, and the
conflict took on a sectarian character.
According to reports from Aid to the Church in Need, ex-Seleka forces
attacked the cathedral, reportedly in retaliation for a Muslim who was
killed the day prior by anti-balaka.
The priest killed in the attack was vicar general of the diocese,
Abbe Blaise Mada. Aid to the Church in Need added that some reports have
said second priest, Father Celestine Ngoumbango, was also killed, but
this has not been confirmed.
Houses in the neighborhood were also looted and burned.
Many Catholic churches in the country provide refuge to Muslims and
Christians alike fleeing violence, included churches in the Diocese of
Bangassou, some 140 miles to the east of Alindao, where several Catholic
institutions have taken in displaced Muslims who face violence at the
hand of anti-balaka.
Anti-balaka killed more than 100 Muslims in Bangassou in May 2017
before United Nations peacekeepers intervened, and since then the city’s
Petit Seminaire Saint Louis has been home to about 1,600 displaced
Muslims. Another 2,000 Muslims have taken refuge at St. Peter Claver
Cathedral in Bangassou….

Introduction
Since the end of the Second World War, and in the past 20 years in
particular, British society has undergone an historically unprecedented
transformation due to mass immigration. The speed and extent of the transformation, its negative economic and social consequences, and the fact it never had a democratic mandate, has contributed to a more divided Britain. Many difficulties have been confronted and surmounted
with a variety of immigrant and immigrant-descended communities, yet
when it comes to elements within the UK’s burgeoning Muslim population
(which increased 75% between 2001-2011 [p. 22/80]), the problems can seem intractable.
The fracture line most prone to splitting in multicultural Britain lies between Muslims struggling with (or against) integration — often for religious reasons — and the white working-class communities which have borne the brunt of their country’s imposed transformation. Many Muslims fear so-called Islamophobia (a term both arbitrarily defined and employed), while UK authorities enthusiastically pursue supposed Islamophobes. However, public concerns regarding Islamic terrorism and extremism, demographic upheaval, grooming gangs and a variety of imported Muslim intra-communal socio-cultural problems (including female genital mutilation [FGM], ‘honour violence’, polygamy and forced marriage), seem typically treated with kid-gloves by all branches of the UK establishment. FGM, for instance, although illegal since 1985, has seen zero prosecutions despite one case being reported every hour. Moreover, there are now state-funded specialist clinics
in the UK which address FGM’s health complications. From a certain
angle, the appeasement of the practice seems to have blurred into
something approaching collusion with it.
This specific instance in the public health sector of appeasement
becoming more like collusion is part of a pattern being witnessed across
all branches of the UK establishment. For the sake of avoiding social
upheaval in the short term (and therefore amassing it in the long term),
the UK establishment’s tendency is to side with sections of Britain’s
Muslim population. The flip side of this is that the government has
turned against the broader population, which manifests in an
increasingly draconian approach to dissenting voices, such as Tommy Robinson. For instance, the UK government has renewed and deepened ties with the suspected Muslim Brotherhood front, the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). Ties were severed in 2009 after former MCB Secretary General, Daud Abdullah, signed the Istanbul Declaration,
which called for violence against UK armed forces. Despite this — or
perhaps because of the MCB’s potential to generate violence — Prime
Minister Theresa May now presides over a rapprochement with them. She
knows very well who she is getting involved with, because she was Home
Secretary when the still largely censored Jenkins Report was released in 2015 and therefore had full access to it. Along with the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) and Islamic Society of Britain (ISB), the report cites the MCB as an organisation with Muslim Brotherhood affiliations.
According to the Jenkins Report, “aspects of Muslim Brotherhood
ideology and tactics, in this country and overseas, are contrary to our
[UK] values and have been contrary to our national interests and our
national security”. Denounced in December 2016 by the Foreign Affairs Select Committee (headed by MP Crispin Blunt), the Jenkins Report and its warnings were countered with a more favourable picture
of the Muslim Brotherhood, which now seems to be the preferred approach
of the UK government. This switch is despite the Brotherhood having
been marked as a global threat by the US Subcommittee on National Security, despite it being proscribed as a terrorist organisation in several countries, and despite its branch, Hamas, being overtly terrorist. Furthermore, the Brotherhood is the ideological root of Al Qaeda and Islamic State and works globally to subvert and Islamify societies
via infiltration of the organs of state and other public bodies, such
as media and charities. It shares the goal of a global caliphate with
the Sunni jihadists it has spawned, and only differs from them in its
general preference for gradualism over revolutionary violence.
In Western democracies, by publicly rejecting political violence and posing as moderates, the messaging of Muslim Brotherhood operatives can be seductive for politicians and establishment figures
eager to hold together their fragmenting societies and find a bulwark
against terrorism. However, the risk of reaching-out to “Islamists” who
wish to engage in/with democracy is that it increases the potential for
infiltration — and this is the weakness of the rapprochement strategy Leiken and Brooke
argued for in 2007. This misguided strategy was favoured by the Obama
administration and now seems to have been adopted by Theresa May’s
government. Forging links with Muslim Brotherhood affiliates, and
appeasing their demands in the hope it lessens jihadist terrorism,
offers only false hope. Non-violent “Islamists” and jihadists implicitly act in concert,
forming a pincer movement to Islamify society by subversion and
intimidation respectively. The appeasement of political Islam by
governments across Western Europe is transforming the continent against
the will of vast numbers of its citizens and is effectively in collusion
with the “Islamist” agenda — yet jihadist violence persists. The
strategy is not working.
The UK government is now crossing the line from appeasement to
collusion by bringing the MCB in from the cold. If its members are
indeed Muslim Brotherhood operatives, they are wolves in sheep’s
clothing who subscribe to the Brotherhood motto: “Allah is our
objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our constitution.
Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
This is a call to theocratic jurisprudence and holy war is at least
implied — it is also arguably treasonable according to section 3 of the
UK’s 1848 Treason Felony Act.
What follows is the first in a series of articles examining
‘Islamist’ influence and infiltration into the various branches of the
UK establishment: Church, Monarchy, Military, Security Services, Police,
Prison Service, Judiciary, Legislature, Civil Service, state media and
banking/corporate interests.
It is perhaps appropriate to begin with the Church of England, given
the overwhelmingly religious motivations of Islamic extremists.
Moreover, the weakness of Christianity as a cultural force in Europe
seems a fundamental aspect of the continent’s crisis in confidence. It
has been observed by commentators such as Melanie Phillips that the decline of Christianity has left a moral and spiritual vacuum
ready to be filled by a more self-assured belief system. It is within
this context that the Church of England is ingratiating itself to
extremists Muslim clerics, fulfilling Christopher Hitchens’ prophetic
warning that the West’s own ecumenical and multiculturalist priesthood
will “hold open the gates” for a resurgent and expansionist Islam. Part 1: The Church of England
The UK’s state religion is the Church of England and as such is a
centuries-old branch of the political establishment. Now largely bereft
of political power, it nonetheless still exerts some soft-power in terms
of moral influence in British public life. Headed by the Archbishop of
Canterbury, Justin Welby, the Church of England has a track record of
interfaith dialogue with extremist Muslims.
A former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, advocated the absorption of aspects of Sharia law
into UK legislation. Some Muslim groups supported Williams in this, for
instance, the Rochdale-based Ramadhan Foundation, an educational and
welfare body. They said Williams’ advocacy was “testament to his attempts to understand Islam and promote tolerance and respect between our great faiths”. The same foundation has a history of making outlandish and delusional comments, including referring to Israel as “the new Hitler”.
Williams also made the claim at a 2014 conference organised by the
supposedly integrationist and progressive Islamic Society of Britain
(ISB), that Islam is rejuvenating British values. However, according to The Muslim Brothers in Europe: Roots and Discourse (p. 65), ISB is one of several movements which “have their ideological roots in the activism of Sayyid Qutb and Maulana Mawdudi,” two key founders of modern jihadism. The “offensive jihad”
of Al Qaeda and Islamic State — their holy war for Islamic
world-domination — is in no small measure the result of Qutb and
Mawdudi’s promotion of extremist teachings and violence.
As well-meaning liberals, Williams and Welby engage in interfaith
dialogue aiming for a “draw” — they aim for the common ground of
understanding among equals. However, Islamic supremacists enter such
dialogue with the aim of “winning” — as religious exclusivists, it could
not be otherwise, whether they are honest about it or not. Moreover,
as Samuel Westrop has noted, “honorable activities do not only attract those with honorable intentions”, and the involvement of extremists poisons the entire interfaith exercise — extremists such as Inter Faith Network members, Jamiat Ulama e Britain (JUB), who are “directly affiliated”
with Pakistani seminaries that have close ties to the Taliban. The
error of the interfaith template is therefore similar to the equally
misguided attempt to engage “Islamists” in the democratic process.
Islam, in the purist 7th century form, advocated by the Muslim
Brotherhood and others, is a totalitarian theocratic system and
therefore sees democracy as haram. For “Islamists”, engaging with the democratic process is only a means to the end of destroying it from within.
Welby has, in recent years, made numerous pointless attempts at
dialogue with those for whom dialogue has a foregone, supremacist
conclusion. In 2016, he welcomed Muhammad Naqib ur Rehman
to Lambeth Palace to counter “the narrative of extremism and
terrorism”, despite Rehman having openly praised acts of terror in
Pakistan. In July 2018, Welby hosted the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Shaykh
Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, for the “Emerging Peacemakers Conference”. Given the conference title, it is grimly ironic that this is the same al-Tayyeb who in 2015 refused to condemn Islamic State
as un-Islamic. Welby, in his capacity as an amateur scholar of Islam
compared to al-Tayyeb, contradicted this a year later with his claim
that ISIS had “nothing to do with Islam”. Al-Tayyeb also considers apostasy punishable by death and, as head of Al-Azhar, the world’s foremost Sunni university, is party to both incitement against Egypt’s much-persecuted Coptic Christian minority and the promulgation of Sunni jihadism’s ideological underpinning.
Concerning UK-based “Islamists”, Welby visited the Hamas-linked Finsbury Park mosque after Darren Osborne’s 2017 vehicular ramming attack. Ignoring the fact that it was a Hamas-linked mosque which had been the victim of a style of attack favoured by Hamas, Welby went on to honour its “hero imam”, Mohammed Mahmoud, at the 2018 Lambeth Awards.
Mahmoud’s award was for having prevented violence — he protected
Osborne from an angry Muslim mob in the direct aftermath of the attack.
However, Mahmoud’s association with alleged former Hamas military commander, Finsbury Park mosque trustee Mohammed Sawalha,
was discretely overlooked. From Welby’s actions, we can surmise that he
was either naively content with, or unwilling to question, the mosque’s
2017 explanation that it was “unaware” of Sawalha’s background and status as a Hamas politburo member.
Welby has done much work in the interfaith field with his “friend”, MCB Assistant Secretary General, Ibrahim Mogra. Although moderate in his public pronouncements, Mogra regularly re-tweets posts from the “extremist” advocacy group, Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND), and, as a senior MCB member, is formally linked to many who have openly supported the likes of Bin Laden and Hamas. Furthermore, Mogra has promoted “Islamist” narratives within the British education system by writing a Teacher Handbook
on Islam. The handbook includes justifications for amputation
punishments, violent jihad, polygamy, slavery and — casting doubt on
Mogra’s interfaith work — Islamic supremacist thinking.
It is therefore reasonable to conclude that Archbishop Welby is
willingly blind to Islamic extremism and is actively covering for it,
for instance, with the false-equivalency that “many faiths, not just Islam” have a problem with radicalisation. Moreover, Welby asserts that it is an irrational “fear of Muslims” among the public which is tearing British society apart, rather than Islamic extremism, which he downplays by warning against “hysteria”.
Furthermore, he claimed the number of young Muslims travelling to Syria
to fight for Islamic State and other jihadist groups was “extraordinarily small” — it was approximately 800 (including family members). The UK now faces an ongoing severe terror threat from the around 400 fighters who have returned, adding a combat-hardened core to the pool of up to 35,000 potential jihadists
already in the country. For Welby, the public is not to believe its
lying eyes that it is his interfaith partners who sow the ideological
seeds which sprout into sectarian apartheid and acts of terror. This “gaslighting”
of the British public, as shall be further illustrated in this series
of articles, is ubiquitous across British public life — the primary
problem of Islamic extremism is fearfully overlooked and the secondary
response of public concern is derided as delusional or bigoted.

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENIES REGISTRATION TO CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS GROUP

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. —A Christian apologetics
group at the University of Colorado has filed a federal lawsuit against
the institution after officials rejected the group’s application for
registration because it requires its leaders to be Christians. According to the lawsuit,
the Colorado Springs chapter of Ratio Christi “seeks to advance a
biblical worldview, explaining how the Bible applies to various current
cultural, moral, and political issues.”
It sees its leadership as “the spiritual leaders of the chapter,” who
are “responsible for promoting, guiding, and leading the spiritual
health of the chapter and its members; for leading others toward
Christian maturity; for teaching faithfully the word of God; and for
teaching, inculcating, defending, communicating, and advocating the chapter’s Christian beliefs.”
However, in 2016, after Ratio Christi applied for registration, which
would allow it to use campus space and obtain funding for activities,
its leaders were advised during a meeting that the application could not
be accepted because its Constitution requires its officers to be
Christians.
University officials asserted that the requirement conflicts with the
Board of Regents’ non-discrimination policy, which states, “The
University of Colorado does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, age, disability, creed,
religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression,
veteran status, political affiliation, or political philosophy in . . .
its educational programs and activities.”
They also outlined the the group could not mandate that members
“agree with and promote” Ratio Christi’s mission. Ratio Christi
reportedly attempted to assuage the concerns and tried over the course
of two years to work the matter out with the university, but were
repeatedly advised that the text of the group’s Constitution still posed
a problem.
According to the legal challenge, Sabrina Wienholtz, the school’s
director of student clubs, explained that to require members to “agree
with and promote” the group’s mission sends the message that Ratio
Christi is “not open to all students,” especially “students who may
disagree.” She further noted that “[t]he requirement that club
officers profess faith is in violation of our anti-discrimination
policy.”
Wienholtz said that if the group wanted to obtain registration
status, it should use “aspirational language,” such as that leaders
“should” profess faith, and members “should” promote the group’s
mission, rather than that they must do so.
As Ratio Christi still remains unregistered with the University of
Colorado, it filed suit on Wednesday to challenge the rejection. It
notes that various campus groups require their members and leaders to
adhere to certain beliefs, and they have not been denied registration.
“The Trans Student Union requires that its members ‘believe
that transgender people are the gender they say they are,'” the suit
outlines. “[The group] threatens to revoke the membership or leadership
position of anyone who engages in ‘transphobic comments or behavior.’”
“[T]he Gender & Sexuality Alliance states that its ‘weekly
meetings are offered to all trans, queer, intersex, and
allied students,'” the legal complaint adds.
“[T]he Gender & Sexuality Alliance would refuse to accept as
members or officers students who hold biblical beliefs that human
beings are created as either male or female, that their status as such
cannot change, and that sexual conduct is to be reserved for a marriage
between one man and one woman.”
The fraternities only allow men to join, and the sororities only
allow women, the challenge further notes, and the Young Democratic
Socialists of America group is for “leftists of all stripes.”
Ratio Christi also contends that there is another Christian student
group on campus that requires its members to agree to a statement of
faith, and mandates that leaders “faithfully attend a local
Bible-believing church.”
Similarly, “[i]t would contradict Ratio Christi’s expressive and
associational purpose to permit individuals who do not profess a
relationship with Jesus Christ and share its religious beliefs to serve
as its officers,” the organization states.
“Conferring leadership positions to those who do not profess a
relationship with Jesus Christ and share Ratio Christi’s religious
beliefs would communicate a message which Ratio Christi opposes and does
not wish to communicate.”
Ratio Christi is therefore seeking a court-ordered injunction
preventing the University of Colorado from denying its registration

“Like any other student group at a public university, religious
student organizations should be free to choose their leaders without the
government meddling,” Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) attorney Travis
Barham, who is representing the student group in court, said in a
statement.
“It would be absurd for the university to require the vegan student
group to appoint a meat-lover as its president. Likewise, the University
of Colorado shouldn’t force Christian students to let atheists or other
non-Christians to lead their Bible studies in order to become a
registered club.”

Cal
Carlstrom volunteered for the Marine Corps, he served our country
without hesitation, and now he resides with his lovely wife in Union
County, New Jersey. In the last couple of years, Cal attempted to
re-enter the workforce as an armed guard, for Global Security. His new
supervisor said Cal needed to apply for an FID card, and Cal complied.
Then the supervisor said Cal needed to attend SORA classes and get a new
background check, and Cal complied. Then the new supervisor told him he
had to file for a pistol permit, and Cal complied. After all of that,
the new supervisor told Cal he needed to apply for a “carry permit for
work only.” You know so he can’t carry a gun safely in the holster,
where it belongs, but so he can keep his gun locked up in the trunk of
his car and separate from the ammunition, where it’s basically useless
in the event Cal gets attacked by a bad guy outside of the confines of
his new job, and Cal complied. A letter of need was sent by the
Federally licensed, Global Security Company offices, to accommodate
Cal’s request for the work only permit. By law the letter has to be
approved by the local Police Chief, so it can be sent for approval to
the State Police, to be returned to the local Police Chief for review
and execution of the permit, then a judge must sign off on the permit,
then Cal can go to work again and pay his income taxes. Easy
peasy…right?
So, months and months go by, even though the law in
New Jersey says that these types of permits must be processed within 30
days. Cal eventually went over to Judge Pime’s office at the Union
County Courthouse and requested a meeting with the Judge’s secretary or
some member of the office staff that could explain the details of the
delay, and what, if anything Cal could do to expedite the process. After
the frigid office staffers made sure to be as offensive as possible to
this lovable Veteran Marine, endearing Veteran Jersey City public school
teacher, and notably the nicest guy you could ever want to meet, Cal
received no replication from the Judge who originally received his
permit request.
After numerous calls from Global Security hoping
to be able to start him at work, Cal made another trip to the Union
County Courthouse, where he was informed that yet another Judge, the
Hon. William Daniels had been assigned his permit application. Cal got
the word “from the inside” that this new Judge may actually help further
his request because Judge Pime had taken his own opinion on processing
carry permit requests, versus you know following the law, and all… After
legislating from the bench, Cal and 9 other of Global Security
Company’s potential employees were denied a “work only carry permit.”
Cal
didn’t stand for that, he sat down and called Evan Nappen. We have to
get litigious on their asses. To add insult to injury, Cal found out
that his request was denied because his letter of need “wasn’t strong
enough.” But wait…there’s more! The Judge actually said that “there is
no need for armed security in movie theaters…” Ludicrous, no?
Sandy
pointed out that every single county in New Jersey gives these permit
requests to the most anti-gun judges they possibly can. That’s right,
you heard it right here on Gun For Hire Radio, county judges in New
Jersey are not ruling based on the law statutes. Welcome to our reality!

Tucker Carlson delivered a stunning monologue Wednesday,
slamming CNN for posing as a champion of free speech, after the network
spent months trying to have competitors silenced and banned.
Carlson addressed CNN’s lawsuit against the Trump administration for revoking Jim Acosta’s White House access.
“In
the past couple of days, you’ve heard a lot of pumping and puffing
about free speech and freedom of the press, and how those freedoms are
currently imperiled by the White House, and to be clear, we are for free
speech. Unfettered, absolute free speech.” Carlson urged.
“And we
cannot help but notice that some of free speech’s greatest enemies are
now posing as its defenders, all of a sudden.” he added.
And that’s when the smackdown commenced, with Tucker providing examples of CNN’s total hypocrisy when it comes to free speech.
“Take
CNN, for example. It was a CNN that almost single-handedly led the
campaign to have broadcaster Alex Jones banished from the Internet, on
the grounds that they didn’t like what Jones had to say,” Tucker
continued.
“Ultimately, CNN succeeded in doing that. The network
convinced every major tech platform to ban Jones and his outlet,
Infowars. You don’t have to like Alex Jones to see that as a terrifying
loss for free speech, because it was exactly that. But CNN was not done
trying to silence its critics.” Carlson further explained.
CNN is
“claiming to defend free speech only when it is their free speech.”
Tucker declared, noting that CNN also didn’t devote any airtime to even
report on the US government forcing RT to register as a foreign agent
under threat of imprisonment.
“Yes, Russia Today is owned by a
foreign government. So is the BBC,” he said. “But because RT is owned by
Russia, which the left believes got Donald Trump elected, it is fine
with CNN if they are bullied and silenced.”
“Call CNN what you will,” Carlson said. “But don’t pretend they are defenders of the First Amendment. They are not.”
“To
see a channel that has lobbied against the right of others to say what
they think is true, to all of a sudden emerge as this defender of the
First Amendment is nauseating.” Tucker added.
Carlson and his guest Victor Davis Hanson then discussed how the Obama administration actively spied on reporters.
“This is a violation of press freedom,” said Hanson. “We didn’t hear that.”
“CNN
has argued that others should lose their voice, should be silenced,
because they’re quote conspiracy theorists, but you’re listing
conspiracy theories that they have promulgated on their air.” Carlson
told his guest after Hanson cited examples of various attacks on the
President by CNN talking heads.
Turning back to Acosta, Hanson
addressed the CNN reporter’s infamous ‘chop’ to a female White House
intern’s arm, and noted that “this particular time you went over the
edge, you were disruptive you were rude, you took over an optional press
conference. Nothing in the constitution says he has to have a press
conference.”
Despite the tone of Carlson’s broadcast, Fox News
released an earlier statement expressing support for CNN’s lawsuit, for
which CNN thanked their rival network.

In an interview with CNN, of all places, Senator Rand Paul
warned that there is a concerted effort by big tech, in particular
Facebook, to censor conservative viewpoints, and it will lead to their
downfall.
“I think if it gets so bad that they don’t
allow conservative viewpoints on Facebook, I think you will get to a
point where people will leave in droves,” Paul told CNN Thursday.
“So Facebook, if they want to keep making money, are going to have to
convince conservatives that they’re not the enemy.” Paul urged.
Paul
noted that while it is not in the nature of conservatives to push for
regulation of private companies, big tech has justifiably become an
exception to that rule.
“It’s a privately owned company,” Paul
said, adding “Most times, conservatives, we don’t want to over-regulate
private businesses.
“But they do have sort of a monopoly on this sort of social exchange in speech,” he added.
“[W]hat I’ve been saying for a while is that we need to look at the
barriers to entry that government might be creating,” Paul continued.
“Not
the government starting other companies but the government getting out …
to allow competition with Facebook.” the Senator added.
Paul’s comments come in the wake of revelations that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ordered the ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, Sen. Mark Warner, to back off of investigating Facebook with regarding to Russian interference in US elections.
A Senate source further commented
that Schumer is concerned that Facebook may “bow to pressure from the
right wing, who opposed Facebook’s purging of fake accounts and bots.”
Schumer reportedly told Warner that he should cooperate with Facebook rather than scrutinize its activity.

FACEBOOK: THE DEVIL’S MIXING BOWL

one hand, it has benefits such as advertising churches and legitimately
keeping touch with friends. On the other hand, it is one of the greatest
tools of the devil to foster spiritual compromise. It has great
potential to corrupt through evil communications (1 Corinthians 15:33).
Facebook is the devil’s mixing bowl. It tends to mix everything
together, the holy and the unholy, the spiritual and the worldly. The
following observation is from Brian Snider, “Most people in our circles
do not have the discernment, discretion or courage to stand against
things that are wrong. For instance, when someone leaves a good church
and goes down a worldly or wicked road, many people continue to remain
friends with them and ‘Like’ everything they do. They will approve of
things on Facebook that their church and pastor plainly stand against
including immodest attire, worldly activities, wrong relationships,
wrong marriages, rebellion against church, bad doctrine…you name it.
They hear these things preached against on Sunday, but Monday morning
they approve of them on Facebook. They will not clearly and plainly
separate from folks who are going in a direction that contradicts the
doctrine of their own church. This encourages the one who is doing
wrong, weakens those who would stand against that behavior, and signals
to others that these wrong activities are okay. In doing this, they seem
to care more about the feelings of rebels than they do the feelings and
concerns of a pastor who loves and cares for them. From that
standpoint, I believe that Facebook has done untold damage to churches. I
have friends in independent, fundamental churches around the world and I
have observed that this takes place everywhere.” CONCLUDING NOTE:
Spiritual victory in the age of social media is the same as it has been
since the days of Job, who loved God and wanted to honor Him and
therefore made a covenant with his eyes (Job 31:1). The victory is in
being born again (not just a sinner’s prayer), abiding in Christ in my
everyday life, having a pilgrim mindset so that I am aware that I
presently live in a strange land filled with spiritual and moral
dangers, and having a testing mindset to guard against those dangers and
keep them out of my life. It is a continual and daily battle. It is a
mindset whereby I refuse to be manipulated by the world system and its
technology. It is the mindset whereby I will use the technology for the
glory of God within biblical boundaries, but I will not be controlled by
it and negatively influenced by it, whatever that entails, even if it
means having no Internet and no smartphone and no
social media. If I can use a technology for the glory of God without
being harmed by it, then I can use it. If not, then I don’t need it. I
am in a spiritual war, and I am fighting to win. “For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into

‘Don’t quench the Spirit,’ I was told. ‘He can do what he wants.’ Why
did many of our prophecies contradict the Bible? ‘Don’t put God in a
box.’ Despite the questions, I trusted my family because we were so
successful. ... After graduating college and returning home, I met my
wife, Christyne. I had no idea that God would use her in bringing about
my salvation. In fact, my family and I were nervous because she didn’t
speak in tongues. ... one day she pointed to a verse I had never seen: 1
Corinthians 12:30 (‘Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in
tongues? Do all interpret?’). I was shaken to the core. There it was
plain as day—not everybody has to speak in tongues. Soon, the domino
effect began. Other longstanding beliefs were failing the biblical test.
No longer did I believe that God’s purpose was to make me happy,
healthy, and wealthy. Instead, I saw that he wanted me to live for him
regardless of what I could get from

insistence on speaking in tongues and that my pastor loved me enough to

the World Council of Churches have published a book that discussed the
Bible as an ecumenical tool. It is called Your Word Is Truth: The Bible in 10 Christian Traditions.
“The publication revives a long history between the WCC and UBS of
working together to nurture engagement with Scripture as a unifying
element in ecumenical, inter-confessional relations” (Christian
Newswire, Nov. 8, 2018). The only way that the Bible can be a unifying
element in ecumenical relations (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox) is to
misuse it. If it were interpreted literally and accurately, it would
destroy the ecumenical movement. The Bible says, “... earnestly contend
for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3).
Fighting for the one true faith of God’s Word is the very opposite of
ecumenical unity. If I stand up, for example, for the gospel of the
grace of Christ without works or sacraments as taught in God’s Word,
then I destroy unity with those who preach a sacramental gospel. If I
stand up for the literal interpretation of Bible prophecy, I destroy
unity with those who hold to an allegorical method of interpretation. If
I stand up for the cessation of apostolic sign gifts, I destroy unity
with those who claim to exercise those gifts. In truth, the World
Council of Churches and the United Bible Societies are enemies of the
Bible. they together because they are unified in error. They have a
false christ, a false gospel, and a false spirit. For evidence of this,
