This is a very dark moment in American history. 

On November 6th, the American people gave the keys to the U.S. House of Representatives to the Democrats, and that means that the crazies will soon be unleashed on Capitol Hill.  They won’t be able to get much legislation pushed through because Republicans still control the Senate and Donald Trump is still in the White House, but they will be able to cause all sorts of chaos with their investigative powers.  If you thought that things were bad the last two years, just wait, because you haven’t seen anything yet.  Top Democrats are already talking about hitting Trump with a huge wave of subpoenas, and the White House is bracing for the worst.  It is going to be a time of bitter partisan wrangling in Washington, and meanwhile the nation as a whole is going to continue to fall apart.

In just a couple of months, Nancy Pelosi will be speaker of the House once again.  That also means that if something suddenly happened to Donald Trump and Mike Pence, she would become the president of the United States.

Just the thought of that should chill you to the bone.

And of course Pelosi is just the tip of the iceberg.  All of the powerful House committees will now be chaired by Pelosi’s crazy allies, and they plan to use those positions to hurt President Trump as much as possible.

For example, Elijah Cummings will become the chair of the House Oversight Committee, and he has already been calling “for the panel to issue subpoenas to the Trump administration on seven different investigations”…

In September alone, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, called for the panel to issue subpoenas to the Trump administration on seven different investigations, ranging from immigration to Obamacare.

With Democrats now poised to take control of the House, Mr. Cummings will likely be in a position as chairman to issue those subpoenas on his own.

Another top Democrat that absolutely hates Trump is Richard Neal of Massachusetts.  He is going to become the chair of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, and he has already stated that he plans to use his subpoena power to go after Trump’s tax returns…

Democrats are eager to peek into President Trump’s tax returns with their newfound power in the House.

Rep. Richard Neal of Massachusetts, the top Democrat in the Ways and Means Committee who is poised now to become chairman, has said that he intends to formally request the president’s tax returns.

And let us not forget Maxine Waters.

Yes, crazy Maxine is probably going to get her own committee too.  She is likely to become chair of the House Financial Services Committee, and she seems quite eager to cause all sorts of chaos…

Meanwhile, Rep. Maxine Waters, another California Democrat and one who has repeatedly called for Trump’s impeachment, could soon control her own committee — which would yield her the power to subpoena and control the fate of legislation.

Waters, 80, could become chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, where she currently serves as ranking member. The committee oversees the housing, banking, insurance, and securities industries, and Waters has offered big plans if she can bag the job.

Last, but certainly not least, is nutjob Adam Schiff.

Schiff is likely to become the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, and in that position he could cause a tremendous amount of trouble for Trump…

Another California Democrat, Schiff could likely rise to chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, where he is now the ranking member.

Schiff, 58, said in an interview with CNN that the committee would “investigate questions involving Russian money laundering and President Donald Trump’s businesses.” Schiff said his committee would work in tandem with Waters’ focus on potential money-laundering schemes involving the Trump campaign and Russia, saying he’ll back Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into alleged collusion.

The next two years will be horrible for the Trump administration, horrible for our system of governance, and horrible for the nation as a whole.

But we didn’t get Pelosi, Waters, Cummings, Neal and Schiff as our leaders in Washington by accident.

Those that are representing us in Washington are a reflection of the nation as a whole.  So when we look at Congress, we are essentially looking into a mirror.  I once believed that if the American people could just see behind the curtain and understand how deeply corrupt these politicians on both sides of the aisle really are that they would make better choices.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that anymore.

We have horrible leaders because that is what the American people want.  This election cycle, a lot of really good men and women ran for office all over the nation, but almost all of them were defeated.

Real solutions to our very serious national problems have been proposed, but that isn’t what the American people want.  Instead, what the American people want are more leaders like Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her gaggle of crazies.

It was very difficult for me to write this article this evening, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to see any sort of a positive future for our country.

We are facing crisis after crisis as a nation, but our leaders just keep getting more and more corrupt.

If our founders could see what has happened to the once great nation that they established, they would be rolling over in our graves.

The United States of America is in an advanced state of decline, and we just got more evidence of that fact on Tuesday night.

Sudanese officials raided a house church in South Darfur, Sudan on 13 October, 

arresting 13 Christians and subjected the converts from Islam in the group to a day 

and night of beating and torture…Ten of the Christian converts were later released

Abuse against Christians and Jews worldwide is tolerated. There are no Christian or Jewish groups in the world that raid mosques, beat and torture congregants and disbelievers/apostates, and there should not be. Nor should Muslims be persecuting religious minorities and apostates with impunity. Discussing Islamic abuses against infidels and apostates (in the name of the Sharia) continues to be shunned in human right’ conversations globally, while merely offending Muslims is vehemently opposed.

Under Islamic sharia law, Muslims who abandon their religion face severe punishment. According to all schools of sharia, men face the death penalty.

Sudanese officials raided a house church in South Darfur, Sudan on 13 October, arresting 13 Christians and subjected the converts from Islam in the group to a day and night of beating and torture.
Security agents entered a house in the city of Nyala, known as a Christian meeting place, on the morning of 13 October. They asked the group meeting there, “Are you Christians?” and arrested all 13 when they answered “yes”.
The agents released two believers with Christian backgrounds from the Nuba mountains, the oldest Christian region in Sudan, but detained eleven converts from Islam including the pastor, Tajdeen Yousif.
A Barnabas Fund contact reported, “They tortured them beating them a whole day and night and telling them you face death because you changed your religion.”
Ten of the Christian converts were later released after reportedly being tortured into recanting their faith. Pastor Tajdeen, who is also a convert from Islam but refused to deny Christ, was held for several more days and has since been released. All eleven were required to report daily to authorities, but have gone into hiding for their safety.
Under Islamic sharia law, Muslims who abandon their religion face severe punishment. According to all schools of sharia, men face the death penalty. Sudan’s constitution gives judicial discretion to courts in the application of sharia.
Sudan is one of the few countries in the world today where people have been executed for apostasy. In 1985, Mahmoud Mohammed Taha, a 76-year-old moderate Muslim political leader who had opposed the establishment of sharia by the Sudanese government, was hanged as an apostate for his views. Christian converts from Islam could potentially be executed also. In 2014, a Christian Sudanese woman was sentenced to death for apostasy. Meriam Yahya Ibrahim was raised as a Christian by her mother, but because her estranged father was a Muslim, authorities claimed she was a Muslim by birth and was therefore guilty of apostasy. An international outcry led to her eventual release…..

Since the day I was honored to be sworn in as Attorney General of the United States, I came to work at the Department of Justice every day determined to do my duty and serve my country. I have done so to the best of my ability, working to support the fundamental legal processes that are the foundation of justice.
The team we assembled embraced your directive to be a law and order Department of Justice. We prosecuted the largest number of violent offenders and firearm defendants in our country's history. We took transnational gangs that are bringing violence and death across our borders and protected national security. We did our part to restore immigration enforcement. We targeted the opioid epidemic by prosecuting doctors, pharmacists, and anyone else who contributes to this crisis with new law enforcement tools and determination. And we have seen results. After two years of rising violent crime and homicides prior to this administration, those trends have reversed–thanks to the hard work of our prosecutors and law enforcement around the country.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — An Ohio professor who was placed under investigation for declining to address a male student who identifies as female with feminine pronouns has filed suit, stating that he should not be forced to violate his Christian convictions.
Dr. Nicholas Meriwether, a philosophy professor at Shawnee State University, says that for many years, he has referred to his students as “mister” or “miss” or “sir” or “ma’am” as a way of teaching his students how to be respectful to each other, especially in environments where there is sharp disagreement over a controversial subject matter.
In January, during his political philosophy class, he responded to a male student’s question with a “Yes, sir,” but was approached by the student after class, who advised that he identifies as female and would prefer to be referred to with feminine pronouns.
According to the legal challenge, Meriwether thought for a moment and then told the student that he was not sure if he could comply with the request. The student consequently became angry and spouted a vulgarity in close proximity to Meriwether’s face. He allegedly threatened to have the professor fired if he did not refer to him as a woman.

Meriwether reported the incident to university officials, and was instructed by Roberta Milliken, the dean of the university’s college of arts and sciences, to refer to students by their last name only, eliminating any use of pronouns. Meriwether wasn’t sold on the idea, as he thought it felt more like something a football coach would do, as opposed to a philosophy professor.
However, he told Milliken that he would do so in regard to the particular student, while using pronouns for everyone else.
Days later, Milliken approached Meriwether to advise that the student was unhappy with only being called by his last name and had threatened to file a Title IX complaint. Milliken, who originally agreed with Meriwether’s arrangement, told Meriwether that he must refer to the student by his preferred pronoun or he would be in violation of the university’s non-discrimination policy.
Meriwether replied that he would be willing to refer to the student by his desired name, but would not use any titles in front of it, such as “mister” or “miss.” The student went on to complete the class and was given a high grade.
However, in the meantime, Milliken launched an investigation against Meriwether due to the receipt of another complaint from the student. Meriwether outlined in writing that he could not refer to a man as a woman “due to [his] conscience, ethical or religious convictions, or [his] views on free speech.”
He realized that he was faced with two choices: either stop using pronouns for all students and simply refer to them by their first name, or violate his religious beliefs by accommodating the student’s gender identity.
Milliken filed a formal charge against Meriwether, stating that he had created a “hostile environment” because of “the way he addressed” the student. A letter of warning was also placed in Meriwether’s file, and meetings with university leadership to explain his religious convictions were not fruitful.
Therefore, Meriwether has now filed suit against Shawnee State University for not granting him a religious accommodation.
“By punishing and threatening to punish Dr. Meriwether for refusing to communicate a university-mandated ideological message regarding gender identity, defendants have attempted and are attempting to compel Dr. Meriwether’s speech, in violation of his rights under the First Amendment,” the lawsuit reads.
“Defendants’ non-discrimination policies and their enforcement of those policies compel Dr. Meriwether to communicate messages about gender identity that he does not hold, that he does not wish to communicate, and that conflict with (and for him to violate) his religious beliefs,” it states.
Meriwether is seeking an injunction against the enforcement of the university’s non-discrimination policy should he refer to a student by their biological sex.

According to Sputnik News, university spokesperson Elizabeth Blevins remarked, “We support the freedom of expression by students, faculty, staff, and visitors on our campus—and provide an educational and work environment that is free from discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.”

 More than 200 mass graves containing the remains of thousands of people 
killed by Islamic State have been discovered in northern and western 
Iraq, according to a UN report released on Tuesday, 5 November.

The report by the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and UN Human Rights Office documents the existence of 202 mass graves in the governorates of Ninewa, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Anbar.
The report emphasises that the evidence gathered will be critical in prosecuting Islamic State militants for war crimes committed against civilians but also in helping families to find out what happened to those who have gone missing, said the UN Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR).
In support of bereaved families, the report called for a centralised registry of missing persons as well as the creation of a federal Office of Missing Persons.
“Meaningful truth and justice requires the appropriate preservation, excavation and exhumation of mass grave sites and the identification of the remains of the many victims and their return to the families,” the report said.

To bring this about, the report called on the international community for more resources and technical support.
IS invaded Iraq in 2014 and waged a three-year-long campaign of terror against non-Muslims, forcing most of its population, including Christians in the Nineveh Plains in northern Iraq, to flee for their lives. Thousands of others were tortured or killed.
In March security forces discovered the remains of 40 Christians in a mass grave in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. After capturing the city in 2014, IS had warned Christians to “leave or face execution”.
In July, Human Rights Watch called for more support in unearthing several mass graves in and around the city of Raqqa in northern Syria, containing the remains of thousands of bodies of civilians killed by IS, residents killed in airstrikes and of IS militants themselves.
