FORMER ARKANSAS GOVERNOR MIKE HUCKABEE'S DAUGHTER JOINS TRUMP CAMPAIGN AS SENIOR ADVISER

(Politico) — Sarah Huckabee Sanders, previously the campaign manager for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s 2016 presidential effort, has joined Donald Trump’s campaign.
Huckabee Sanders, daughter of the former governor, will serve as a senior adviser for the campaign.
“I volunteered to join Mr. Trump’s campaign because he is a champion of working families; not Washington-Wall Street elites. Like the other Republican candidates, Mr. Trump is pro-life, pro-marriage, and will appoint conservatives to the courts. What makes Mr. Trump my choice for president is he will break the grip of the donor class on our government and make it accountable to working families again. I’m honored to help Mr. Trump Make America Great Again,” Huckabee Sanders said in a statement released through the Trump campaign.
The move is in contrast to that of another top Huckabee alumna, Alice Stewart, who left the campaign before it ended to join Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign as a senior adviser on the communications team. Stewart is now the communications director for Cruz.
Trump is scheduled to be in Arkansas on Saturday, ahead of the March 1 Super Tuesday contests.
There's been speculation that Huckabee himself will endorse Trump. Huckabee shot down rumors that he would throw his support behind the real estate mogul during a January stop in Arkansas by Trump.
"I can rule out any possibility — I'm not endorsing anybody this week," Huckabee said at the time, according to The Weekly Standard.
