QUESTION:
Have you been assured by church leadership that as a Christian you have been graced with a set of spiritual gifts that you may or may not have been using and that the church body needs desperately to function as Christ intended? Are you not able to use those gifts as you would like? Why? Have you been told that your gifts are not needed right now, you're not spiritually mature enough, you must become a ministry leader first, the church doesn't have the money right now, or that your gifts are the special privilege of only the church leaders? This could be the answer:

THE "FUHRERPRINZIP" AT WORK:

ANDY STANLEY SAYS PASTORS

ARE NOT SHEPHERDS

Even though Andy Stanley anointed Obama as "pastor-in-chief" on inauguration day January 21, 2013, what he meant by this title was far more sinister than first realized.
To the extent Stanley has subscribed to the emerging church methodology which necessarily includes absolute and unaccountable authoritarianism invested in the church leadership with the concomitant loss of individualism and freedom for the congregation, so too, the title conveyed on Obama carried the equivalent all powerful status of one who answers to no one, that is, a dictator. Yes, Stanley announced him as dictator over state and church. What, in return, is Stanley's reward? Wouldn't seem to be in the next life, would it?
Chris Rosebrough of Fighting for the Faith elaborates on the spread of church fascism and how Stanley is promoting the re-definition of what it means to be a pastor, i.e., no longer a shepherd or minister:

Andy Stanley Says We Should Stop Talking

About Pastors as Shepherds;

By Chris Rosebrough of Fighting For The Faith

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • "Leaders have ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY to the people in the congregation. But, the people are accountable to the leaders for accomplishing the vision that they cast." (pastors=vision casters).
  • "Certain churches are belligerents in this battle (for individual rights) and they're NOT fighting for your individual rights."
  • "The individual DOES NOT EXIST. The Community is organic (living)."
  • "Truth is experienced in conversation within community."
  • "Fascist, Totalitarian Scope of Doctrine."
  • "The new Non-Economic Society."
  • "Druckerites: Drucker, Warren, Buford."
  • "They find their guiding light not from church tradition or doctrine so much as their analysis of their target audience."
  • "Asking the marketing question: 'Who are the customers, and what's of value to them?'
  • "They're more interested in the pastoral question: 'What do these people need that we can supply?' than in the theological nuances: 'How can we preserve our distinctive doctrines?'"

  • ANDY STANLEY: PRESIDENT OBAMA SHOULD BE CALLED “PASTOR-IN-CHIEF”:

    QUOTE:

"It certainly is not the duty of the president to act as a pastor, especially when that president has demonstrated that his platform is based upon the sins of Romans 1."

    EXCERPTS:

Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church, proceeded with his duty of delivering the pre-inauguration sermon at a church service held prior to the inaugural ceremony. The ecumenical service was held at St. John’s Episcopal Church near the White House and included hymns, prayers, Scripture reading and a performance by R&B singer Ledisi. The sermon, delivered by Stanley, discussed how a person may “leverage power” for the benefit of others.
To begin his sermon, Stanley had the gumption to declare that the president should perhaps wear the title of “pastor-in-chief.” The Washington Examiner shares more details:
President Obama’s recent response to the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., convinced the pastor who preached at this morning’s pre-inaugural church service that the president has the cleric’s touch.
Obama should be called “Pastor in Chief,” said Andy Stanley, pastor of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Ga., after he “thanked POTUS for work after Newtown shooting tragedy when he spoke to mourners.”

A LESSON TO BE LEARNED FROM NAZI HISTORY

Reich Minister for Church Affairs Hanns Kerrl Forbids Catholic Press Printing Pastoral Letters

    EXCERPT:

Hanns Kerrl, the Reich Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs in Germany, issues a decree forbidding the Catholic press from publishing pastoral letters in any form other than official gazettes sent to the clergy. According to Kerrl, the bishops have been using their letters to attack the Nazi government, which is unacceptable.
Cardinal Adolf Bertram, Archbishop of Breslau, tries to convince Hanns Kerrl that none of the pastoral letters issued by any of the bishops in Germany have ever criticized the Nazi Party, the German government, of even the Führer personally, but his arguments fall on deaf ears.

    Hanns Kerrl (center) 1933

Hanns Kerrl (11 December 1887 - 12 December 1941) was a German Nazi politician. His most prominent position, from July 1935, was that of Reichsminister of Church Affairs. He was also President of the Prussian Landtag (1932-1934) and head of the Zweckverband Reichsparteitag Nürnberg and in that capacity edited a number of Nuremberg rally yearbooks.

Kerrl was born into a Protestant family in Fallersleben; his father was a headmaster. Hanns Kerrl joined the NSDAP in 1923 and soon afterwards went into regional politics.

On 17 June 1934 he became Reichsminister without Portfolio. In the following year, on 16 July 1935, he was appointed Reichsminister für die kirchlichen Angelegenheiten (Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs), to head a newly created ministry. On the one hand, Kerrl was supposed to mediate between those Nazi leaders who hated religion (for example Heinrich Himmler) and the churches themselves and stress the religious aspect of the Nazi ideology. On the other hand, in tune with the policy of Gleichschaltung, it was Kerrl's job to subjugate the churches—subject the various denominations and their leaders and subordinate them to the greater goals decided by the Führer. Indeed, Kerrl had been appointed after Ludwig Müller had been unsuccessful in getting the Protestants to unite in one "Reich Church."

Kerrl was considered one of the milder Nazis. Nonetheless, in a speech before several compliant church leaders in 1935, he revealed the regime's growing hostility to the church when he declared, "Positive Christianity is National Socialism." He also pressured most of the Protestant pastors to swear an oath of loyalty to Hitler.

Gregory Munro (Australian Catholic UniversityBrisbane) states that "Kerrl was the only Minister with an explicit commitment to reach a synthesis between Nazism and Christianity. Much to the ire of leading Nazis, Kerrl maintained that Christianity provided an essential foundation for Nazi ideology and that the two forces had to be reconciled.

In the short term, at least, it appears that Hitler hoped to recover the initiative in the Church Struggle by returning to the official NSDAP policy of neutrality. The available documents suggest that Hitler temporized between two approaches to the question of the Churches. On the one hand, the predominant radical elements in the Party wanted to reduce clerical influence in German society as quickly as possible—and by force if necessary. On the other hand, Hitler clearly had much to gain from any possible peaceful settlement whereby the Churches would give at least implicit recognition to the supremacy of Nazi ideology in the public realm and restrict themselves solely to their internal affairs.
"In 1935 Kerrl scored some initial successes in reconciling the differing parties in the Church Struggle. However, by the second half of 1936, his position was clearly undermined by NSDAP hostility, and by the refusal of the churches to work with a government body which they regarded as a captive or stooge of the Nazi Party. Hitler gradually adopted a more uncompromising and intolerant stance, probably under the growing influence of ideologues such as BormannRosenberg and Himmler, who were loathe to entertain any idea of the new Germany having a Christian foundation even in a token form." (Munro, Gregory: "The Reich Church Ministry in Nazi Germany 1935-1938", paper given at the Australian Conference of European Historians, July 1997).
Increasingly marginalized by Hitler, who did not even grant him a personal conversation, Kerrl became desperate and embittered. A completely powerless minister, he died in office on 12 December 1941. Hitler did not appoint a successor.
Kerrl once dubbed Hitler 'Germany's Jesus Christ'. "Br"Time Magazine. 1932-06-06. Retrieved 2008-08-10.

"American sociologist and educator Amitai Etzioni was one of the prominent founders of this newly shaped philosophy. He believes that individuals have been given too much freedom and not enough responsibilities. Etzioni and other communitarians are in favor of more obligations and fewer rights.[4]They desire the community to live up to the basic principle of the good society. But as you will learn, it will only be good for those in charge.")

    EXCERPT:
"Andy Stanley, son of well known pastor Charles Stanley, both Southern Baptists, has been so impressed with Obama's involvement with the Newtown, Connecticut school tragedy that he thinks Obama should be crowned with the title "Pastor in Chief". This, despite the preaching and teaching of the "separation of church and state" for decades within the Southern Baptist Convention. And this, apparently, was the thrust of his man-centered, so-called "sermonette", as reported by the Washington Examiner at:
http://washingtonexaminer.com/pre-inauguration-sermon-tells-obama-hes-pastor-in-chief/article/2519242#.UQBUmSofz1P. So much for honoring God in His house.
No photos or videos were allowed inside the Washington Cathedral, the nation's seat of absolute heresy, apostasy and ecumenism, i.e., as long as we're on the subject of "absolutism" that the anointed one showed distaste for in his inaugural speech.
It does bring back to memory certain themes throughout history, mostly outside the U.S., of the "divine right of kings", the Holy Roman Emperor, the King and Queen of England and the Anglican Church, the Emperor Hirohito of Japan, and assorted Popes who crossed the line between church and state so as to "leverage their power", as Stanley would have Obama do too. He couldn't have been clearer.
What other titles could we expect to be conferred by the same traitorous pastors we have idolized in our mega-churches, the ones who are now unashamedly tripping over themselves before the feet of the most high elected one, and waiting earnestly for his commands and directives. Should we dress him up in clerical finery and surround him with a throne too?
And then to add to the circus atmosphere,  we now have the cussing, beer drinking mega-church pastor Mark Driscoll of Seattle, Washington now tweeting something to the effect that Obama doesn't know God or the Bible he swore his oath of office on, being severely criticized by a bunch of apostate gay-affirming ecumenist pastors condemning Driscoll for the most impardonable sin of all, "judging" another "Christian".
The Christian churches have surely become the laughing stock of a pagan culture. These are the church "leaders" that are the pupils of Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Peter Drucker and the Leadership Network, who "throw Christians under the bus" when we don't get with their program or vision, who require us to sign membership covenants, 25 page constitutions, confessions, pledges, and oaths, and assign all power, authority and leverage to themselves. It is only logical that they would see a benefit in forming church/state alliances European style. The little people are only there to carry their heavy loads. So you can almost hear them saying to you next, if they haven't already, "shut up, follow us and do the work we gave you to do" (for the cause of Christ they add). Not what the Reformers had in mind for sure!"

Calif. Forces Catholics to Fund Abortion Insurance

"The ACLU and abortionists are heralding a decree by California that Catholic universities cannot exclude elective abortion coverage from employee health insurance.  The mandate from the governor's office issued Friday refers to abortion as "a basic health care service" and says that it's unconstitutional to allow Catholics to refuse to pay for mothers to kill their unborn children."
