U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- When FPSRussia debuted on YouTube, no one could have imagined that the channel’s creator Kyle Myers would be able to make a living on the video sharing platform, but he became wealthy by playing the character of Dmitri Potapoff for adoring fans.
The YouTube creator's success led to others being able to follow their dream and share their passion for guns and the Second Amendment on the Google video sharing platform.   This success was until what became known as the YouTube “Ad-pocalypse” happened on the website.
In March of 2017 advertisements played on certain racist and extremist content.  Watchdog groups notified the mainstream media and newspapers such as the Wallstreet Journal jumped on the story and started contacting advertisers to get comments.  In this age of PC, brands didn't want the public to think they were endorsing these views, so they started pulling their ad money from the Google-owned subsidiary.
Seeing their value plummet, YouTube decided they needed to act to head off the mass exoduses of advertisers.  They rewrote their policy, and most advertisements were only running on what they considered family friendly content.

Google, being a far-left company,  does not believe gun channels were family friendly.

Firearms channels saw a massive decrease in ad revenue.  Not only did they see their ad revenue decreased, the chances of YouTube recommending their content plummeted.  Without being recommended by the algorithm, it is hard to be discovered by new viewers and sponsors.   This change was the original shadowban.
Jason Abston of Boomstick Tactical ran into problems with YouTube and had strikes placed on his channel and had his other videos demonetized for arbitrary reasons.
“I’m a state certified firearms instructor and make videos on gun safety as well as training videos,” Abston told me. “YouTube has deleted one of my videos, demonized them and block my channel from search results. One video I made was me standing in front of the camera talking about the history behind the Second Amendment. YouTube said it violated their community standards.”
YouTube removed some channels without warning for violating rules that the website didn't even list at the time they banned the channels.  These bans left channels with little recourse to get there channels back.  These bans are not just limited to gun channels.  The popular comedy channel Mumkey Jones was removed for making fun of a mass shooter.  He came to fame by making a video that made fun on Hillary Clinton.
In that situation, Mumkey Jones received all three strikes at the same time.  YouTube considered making fun of a mass shooter as “extremist content.”  This was the full-time job for Mumkey Jones, so he lost his whole income.  YouTube even terminated his girlfriend’s channel to make sure.
Gun channels were hit hard with these mass channel banning.  This situation is what happened to Brian Purkiss of LockedBack.com.  He was banned for violating a secret rule and Google left him with no recourse.
“I abided by all of the rules YouTube publicly posted and they even agreed I did so,” Purkiss told me. “But since my site sold AR parts kits, they banned me. They admitted they had AR parts kits as a forbidden item. They admitted they didn’t list it publicly on their rules, and they admitted it was on a list they refused to make public.”
When you depend on a single site for your income, then you put your lively hood in the hands of people that can decide to kick you off the platform at a whim without even receiving any notice.  There was a need for people to diversify their revenue streams.
Bill Frady of “Lock n Load Radio” understands the need to have multiple streams.  He diversifies where his content is hosted.  This multiple host system not only gives him the peace of mind of knowing his content cannot be deleted at a whim of an anti-gun employee but also give his advertisers more visibility.
“Content creators have to have multiple streams,” Frady told me. “You shouldn't just have one stream because anything can happen. You don’t want your content gone overnight.”
There were other websites like Daily Motion and Vimeo where these creators could go to, but there is no guarantee that they will not get kicked off those sites.   It is like playing Russian Roulette with your income if you are a full-time content creator.  A couple of gun creators even moved their content to porn sites.  Obviously, most gun creators didn't want to be associated with porn especially if they want to be family friendly, and they were still looking for a safety net.
Out of despair comes a great opportunity, and a few people decided to turn the great YouTube purge of 2017 into an opportunity.  They tackled this problem by creating video hosting sites that are firearms based.  The two most prominent firearms video sharing sites is Full30 and Gunstreamer.

Full30

Full30 Video Website
Full30 Video Website
Full30 was created by Mark Hammonds when YouTube started demonetizing videos.  Some of the biggest gun channels mirrored their content to Full30.   Full30 call these content creators “Producers.”
The current crop of content creators on Full30 is exclusive.  Regular users can sign up and reserve their channel but can't upload any videos yet.   There is no word when the site will open video hosting to the general public.
Full30, like YouTube, makes its money by selling AD space next to videos.   There are two methods of selling AD space that YouTube uses for its customers.
The first method YouTube uses is Cost-per-click (CPC) where advertisers will pay every time a viewer clicks on an ad.  If an ad is viewed, but not clicked, the advertiser pays nothing.  Full30 decided not to offer this model.
The second method is the model is the one that Full30 has decided to embrace.  This method is Cost per impressions (CPM).  In this setup, Advertisers pays after a number of times that viewers watch their AD.  The standard is per 1000 views, but I have seen it as high as 5000.
Full30 shares the revenue they make from their advertisers with their monetized producers.  Not all producers choose to monetize their channels.  Certain producers use Full30 just as a place to put videos where they are safe from the whims of the giants of Silicon Valley.
Full30 isn't just a video hosting site.  One of the best-kept secrets about the site is their forums.  The forum on Full30 is a place where people from all over the gun world can come together.  The forums are full of creators, writers, manufacturers, and just average gun guys.
These forums are a little different than other gun forums sites on the Net that concentrates on a single specific topic. The Full30 forums are trying to be like a United Nations of the gun world where members of all these groups can come together and share ideas.
Unlike the videos hosting portion site, anyone can sign up and post on the forums.  I found myself using the forums more than the video portion of Full30.  I was able to connect with people from all over the gun world which helps me with my work as a firearms journalist.

GunStreamer

GunStreamer Video Website
GunStreamer Video Website
GunStreamer is the second site dedicated to filling the gap for high-quality gun videos now that YouTube has even started to ban DIY gun videos such as AR-15 Builds and video about things such as bump stocks.  My small YouTube page had about 20 out of the 60 videos removed because they were how-to videos.

Because of the direction, YouTube was going Austin Roberts decided to start GunStreamer.  His idea was simple.  Make a platform that gives the creators control without having them worry about violating the terms of services.  The site is not into censorship.  The only things explicitly banned is nudity and illegal activity.
“We like to transparent as a company in general,” Roberts told me. “We are drawing lines on just a couple particular things that we think is absolutely necessary, but we want it to be clear that our policy will not be used to encroach of free speech.    Our platform is open for all.  We, as owners, will be not be discriminating against our content creators or our user base on their personal views, and we will not be using our terms of service as a weapon against free speech.”
Unlike Full30, anyone can sign up for GunStreamer.  If a user already has a YouTube channel, GunStreamer has a built-in import feature that can import a single video or an entire channel.  I was able to import my channel by just copy and pasting the URL and clicking a button.
The system works well.  Every time I post a video on YouTube, it is automatically posted to GunStreamer as well.   This video import system makes using GunStreamer a little easier than other video sites.
GunStreamer also uses primarily a CPM design for revenue sharing but can also a comandante advertiser request for a CPC model. In addition to the revenue sharing model, the company also launched ContributUS which is a Patreon alternative for the gun world.

Patreon & ContributUS

ContributUS Website
ContributUS Website
Patreon is a platform where users can “subscribe” to their favorite creators.  The issue with Patreon is that they have banned people for arbitrary reasons without warning.  This random banning can take away a creator living in a blink of an eye.
Patreon has recently been in the news due to the banning of Sargon of Akkad.  The famous YouTuber was kicked off Patreon for a comment made on a Podcast that wasn’t even his own.  The controversial comment was him using the “N”-word when talking about Neo-Nazis.  He said that Neo-Nazis like using that word, but they are the real ones.
Patreon has long stated that it would not take any action against users for things that take place off the crowdfunding platform itself.   The Sargon incident didn’t take place on Patreon or even on any of his own media streams.   It also happened six months before Patreon banned him for the comment.
According to Patreon, the context of the clip didn’t matter.  Sargon used one of their secret banned words.  Also, Patreon doesn’t have clear guidelines on what is allowed and what is banned.  They have a small team to decide on what is banned and for who.  They also decide the punishment.  Patreon claims this lets them judge everything incident and creator on a case by case basis.
The issue with this is that a line in the sand for one person is not the same line for another person.  Also, without a warning system, a person doesn’t know when they crossed that line which leaves people guessing at what is allowed or prohibited.
Much like GunStreamer, ContributUS has a clear policy of what is and isn't allowed.  Another cool thing is that ContributUS is built directly into the video-sharing site.  This something, not even Patreon offers their customers.
The Video creator can make subscription levels and lock down videos to those levels.   This ability gives the content creator a greater range of monetization options compared to even YouTube.
Will either of these sites be able to siphon off users from YouTube?  The answer is most likely not, but they might not have to.  With YouTube moving more and more to the anti-gun left, people seeking content from their favorite gun video creator might not be able to find it on Google's video platform.  When that eventually happens, these sites will be there.

Rasheed Ahmad is Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Railways. He wasn’t talking about an interior spiritual struggle, as he refers here to Farooq and Geelani, who are leaders of violent jihad groups. But surely that most learned of imams, Pope Francis, is on his way to Pakistan now in order to explain to Ahmad how “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Qur’an reject every form of violence.”
In any case, this open support for jihadis from a Pakistani government minister ought to be a wake-up call for those who still think the U.S. alliance with Pakistan is viable and worth preserving. But it won’t be.
“Shocking: Pak minister talks of jihad and Kashmir,” TNN, March 1, 2019 (thanks to K.):
In yet another shocker for a Pakistani minister, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad praised terrorism, saying “jihad is a duy [sic] in Islam”. While speaking in Pakistan’s Parliament, Ahmad said, “Those who avoid jihad are not Muslims.” “I have good relations with Mirwaiz Mohammad Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Shah Geelani. I am known to the young boys too and Burhan Muzaffar Wani is their leader,” he said in a video footage. A few days back, he dared India after India decimated JeM terror camps in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

OCASIO-CORTEZ & YOUNG RADICALS FIRMLY CONTROL DEMOCRATIC PARTY~"PALESTINIAN" MUSLIM VIRGINIA DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE'S ANTI-SEMITIC DIATRIBE

OCASIO-CORTEZ & YOUNG RADICALS FIRMLY CONTROL DEMOCRATIC PARTY
BY R. CORT KIRKWOOD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
It appears that what remains of the moderate wing of the Democratic Party is dead. Or at least has no voice.
The party of abortion, sodomy, and socialism is now under the firm control, apparently, of a 29-year-old former bartender who proclaims herself a democratic socialist and already shows signs of the totalitarian impulses so common to her ilk.
Such is the iron control the party’s radicals have achieved that an old party hand cannot even say something nice about a Republican, as Joe Biden learned the other day. He said Vice President Pence was a “decent guy.” It was a big mistake.
Upshot? The GOP better stiffen its spine to fight these totalitarian central planners.
No Voting With the GOP. Period.
According to the Washington Post, moderates in the Democratic Party received marching orders yesterday: Shut up and do what you’re told, or face the equivalent of a firing squad.
“House Democrats exploded in recriminations Thursday over moderates bucking the party, with liberal Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threatening to put those voting with Republicans ‘on a list’ for a primary challenge,” the Post reported.
And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the elderly leftist from California, agrees. “We are either a team or we’re not,” she warned, the Post reported.
Ocasio-Cortez, the face that launched a thousand Facebook memes, threatened party moderates with exile. “Corbin Trent, a spokesman for Ocasio-Cortez,” the Post reported, “said she told her colleagues that Democrats who side with Republicans ‘are putting themselves on a list.’”
Ocasio-Cortez issued a not-so-subtle Stalinist threat, the Post reported, after the GOP outfoxed Democrats on an amendment to a bill that would expand federal background checks before one can purchase a firearm.
That amendment, defeated in committee, required Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to be notified if an illegal alien tried to purchase a firearm. Using a motion to recommit, which gives the minority party a last shot at amending a bill, Republicans reintroduced it on the floor, where 26 Democrats helped pass it.
“That infuriated liberals who have railed against ICE’s role in conducting mass deportations and embarrassed Democratic leaders who couldn’t keep their members in line on a high-profile bill,” the Post reported.
Thus, Ocasio-Cortez’s spokesman told the Post, “she said that when activists ask her why she had to vote for a gun safety bill that also further empowers an agency that forcibly injects kids with psychotropic drugs, they’re going to want a list of names and she’s going to give it to them.”
The problem for Pelosi and her colleague from New York 14? Democratic Congressmen from pro-Trump districts. Those moderates “insist they are not going to be dissuaded from voting with their districts, and many are warning that majority control is at stake.”
Inside the Democratic meeting, one of those freshmen — Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (N.M.) — reacted sharply to Ocasio-Cortez’s comments and rose to urge her colleagues to respect the political reality of representing a swing district, according to multiple people present....
Publicly and privately, Pelosi has urged members to treat the Republican motions as procedural feints that should be routinely ignored. “Vote no — just vote no,” she told reporters Thursday, “because the fact is, a vote yes is to give leverage to the other side.” But [Representative Steny] Hoyer and [Representative James] Clyburn believe that is untenable when Republicans stand ready to use those votes as political cudgels against vulnerable Democrats.
Say Nothing Nice
How much control do party radicals have over the party’s elderly leaders?
The Hill reported yesterday that former Vice President Joe Biden, still contemplating a run for president, permitted a left-wing lesbian to upbraid him for calling Vice President Mike Pence a “decent guy.” Biden was speaking at a foreign policy forum in Nebraska.
The reprimand came from failed gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, one of the stars of Sex in the City, a pornographic television program about the sexual adventures of four women in New York City.
“@JoeBiden you’ve just called America’s most anti-LGBT elected leader ‘a decent guy,’” she tweeted. “Please consider how this falls on the ears of our community.”
Like an old man afraid his kids would put him in a nursing home if he didn’t mind them, Biden quickly gave in.
You’re right, Cynthia. I was making a point in a foreign policy context, that under normal circumstances a Vice President wouldn’t be given a silent reaction on the world stage.
But there is nothing decent about being anti-LGBTQ rights, and that includes the Vice President.

Virginia Democratic Candidate's Anti-Semitic Diatribe Has a Radical Past

BY Abha Shankar
SEE: https://www.investigativeproject.org/7825/ipt-exclusive-virginia-democratic-candidate-antirepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Update: Samirah was elected with 60 percent of the vote.
A Virginia General Assembly candidate has apologized for past social media posts excoriating Jews and Israel. But Ibraheem Samirah continues to shade his involvement with groups which would like to see Israel eliminated, a sentiment that was prominent in his life.
In a Feb. 8 apology, Samirah, the Democratic nominee for Virginia's 86th House of Delegates district, expressed remorse for his "ill-chosen words" that "added pain to the Jewish community." A special election in Samirah's race will be held Tuesday.
Samirah dismissed the widespread condemnation of his posts as a "slander campaign" that "is using 5-year-old Facebook posts from my impassioned college days, posts that upon reflection and with the of [sic] blessing of time, I sincerely regret and apologize for."
He is 27 years old.
The posts, first published Feb. 7 by Big League Politics, claimed that sending money to Israel was "worse" than sending money to the Ku Klux Klan and wishing that former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon would burn in hell.
"Ariel Sharon, burn. Burn a million times for every innocent soul you killed. Hell is excited to have you," Samirah wrote after Sharon died in 2014.
To show he's not an anti-Semite, Samirah's apology mentioned that he is a co-founder of American University's Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) chapter. But JVP is a rabidly anti-Israel group that championed the case of a convicted Palestinian terrorist.
Samirah's campus activism also includes work with the virulently anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). The SJP is a radical student organization active on approximately 200 U.S. college campuses. Since its establishment in 2010, SJP chapters have campaigned for divestment from Israel, which it smears as an apartheid state, and accuses of ethnic cleansing.
Samirah participated in a 2016 SJP protest at Boston University against an Israel Peace Week festival sponsored by Boston University Hillel and BU Students for Israel.
He accused festival organizers of using "fun things to cover up very horrible, terrible crimes against humanity."
"They are blindly supporting Israel, so we came to expose that reality," Samirah said. "On top of that, we came to expose the reality internationally for the Palestinian people living under occupation, as related to us here in BU."
Samirah has supported the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaign targeting Israel and was the listed contact person in a 2016 JVP campaign "calling for local and state governments to end contracts with Hewlett-Packard (HP)" because of the company's work in Israel.
The BDS movement describes itself as "a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice, and equality" that uses a strategy of boycotts, divestment, and sanctions to challenge "international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism." But it is considered inherently anti-Semitic because many of its advocates have called for Israel's destruction and because it singles out the world's only Jewish state while ignoring human rights abuses of far greater magnitude in other countries, especially in Muslim-majority states.
Samirah, who was born in Chicago and calls himself a "second generation Palestinian refugee," has described the significant role his father has played in shaping his views. The family had to leave the United States when he was a child after his father was "was seen as a security threat for being Muslim and an activist," Samirah said in an April 2017 interview with a Boston University publication
His father was merely "registering Muslim Americans to vote and lobbying politicians for Muslim needs" but because of rising Islamophobia after 9/11, he "was informed he was a threat to national security," Samirah said.
In fact, Sabri Ibrahim Samirah (also known as Sabri Ibrahim) was a senior leader of a now-defunct Hamas network in the U.S. called the "Palestine Committee."
The "Palestine Committee" was created by the Muslim Brotherhood to support Hamas politically and financially in the United States. Sabri Ibrahim, was chairman of the Palestine Committee's main propaganda arm, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). He served on the board of the American Muslim Society (AMS), which was another name for the IAP, from at least 1993-2002.
The IAP issued Hamas press releases and communiques and published the Hamas charter, which called for Israel's destruction and the murder of Jews. It also sponsored annual conventions and other events that included senior Hamas leaders as speakers.
In 1996 testimony before the United States Senate Foreign Relations' Subcommittee on the Near East and South Asia, Investigative Project on Terrorism Executive Director Steven Emerson noted that Sabri Ibrahim hosted the IAP-sponsored "Jerusalem Festival" two years earlier in Chicago. The event celebrated the "eighth year of the [Palestinian] Intifada." A bazaar featured radical pro-Hamas publications and the main auditorium played songs of revolution and speeches by the Hamas leadership in the United States and overseas.
"In Chicago ... which we will permit ourselves to call the Muslim capital of America," Ibrahim said in a speech, "... and in the shadows of the memory of the martyrs who gave their blood for Palestine ... and in the passage of six years' imprisonment of the Sheikh of the intifadah, Ahmed Yassin [the founder of Hamas who had been imprisoned for directing the kidnapping and killing of Israeli soldiers] in almost the second year following the arrest of a member of our own community, Muhammad Salah ... we the Islamic Association for Palestine send them a deeply felt greeting, and to ... the mujahideen ... all of you have gathered here today."
Sabri Ibrahim also led several summer retreats for local Muslim children. In one such retreat – captured on videotape – the children, several wearing T-shirts with American basketball team insignias, sat around a campfire singing Arabic chants praising Hamas leader Ahmed Yasin, jihad and armed struggle against the Jews. "With daggers in our hands we burst forth to strike ... (against) our enemies," one chant said. Another stanza listed the names of Hamas heroes Ahmed Yasin, Abdullah Azzam, and Iz ad-Din al-Qassam. The Hamas military wing is named after al-Qassam.
Sabri Ibrahim's pro-Hamas, anti-Israel stance hasn't changed with time.
"We are ready to sacrifice all we have for Palestine. Long Live Palestine," he said at an April 2014 American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) conference. The IPT first identified at least five AMP officials and speakers who worked in the Hamas-supporting Palestine Committee. "We have a mission here [in the U.S.] also to support the struggle of our people back there in order to achieve a free land in the Muslim world, without dictators and without corruption."
Ibraheem Samirah's apology was vague and stands amid a lifetime immersed in intense anti-Israel sentiment. If he hopes to ever be a genuine representative of the people, he needs to explain exactly how his thinking has changed.
