LOS ANGELES, CHICAGO & NEW YORK CITY PLAN TO PROTECT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS & WORK TO FRUSTRATE TRUMP'S PLANS TO DEPORT

LAPD Chief: I Won’t Enforce Trump’s Deportation

Donald Trump may have risen to White House stature by riding, in part, a wave of deportation plans for illegals – but Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said he’s having none of it, and that no matter what laws may come from the new administration regarding immigration, his city would remain steadfastly sanctuary in status.
Just to clarify: So one of the city’s top law enforcement officials has announced he’s not going to abide by the law.
How very like a liberal. The left’s always crying about justice and equality, but when laws upholding justice and equality counter their visions of progressive-slash-socialist nirvana, the laws be hanged.
It’s special agenda at all costs.
From the Los Angeles Times:
“Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said Monday that he has no plans to change the LAPD’s stance on immigration enforcement, despite President-elect Donald Trump’s pledge to toughen federal immigration laws and deport millions of people upon taking office.
“For decades, the LAPD has distanced itself from federal immigration policies. The LAPD prohibits officers from initiating contact with someone solely to determine whether he or she is in the country legally, mandated by a special order signed by then-chief Daryl Gates in 1979. During Beck’s tenure as chief, the department stopped turning over people arrested for low-level crimes to federal agents for deportation and moved away from honoring federal requests to detain inmates who might be deportable past their jail terms.”On Monday, Beck said he planned to maintain the long-standing separation.
“‘I don’t intend on doing anything different,’ he said. ‘We are not going to engage in law enforcement activities solely based on somebody’s immigration status. We are not going to work in conjunction with Homeland Security on deportation efforts. That is not our job, nor will I make it our job.'”
Beck gets to choose which laws he abides and which he doesn’t, despite being in the business of upholding law and order and arresting those who don’t.

It’s an interesting side note that it’s a hop and skip away, in the sanctuary city of San Francisco, where a young woman named Kate Steinle was brutally murdered in broad daylight be a previously deported illegal immigrant with a felony background who – listen up, Beck – reportedly told officials he was living in the community for the simple reason it offered him refuge from a deportation storm.
Also of interesting note: It was this case in particular that fueled Trump’s rise in the polls, setting him apart from the other primary candidates and giving him cause to talk about the one issue he saw as crucial to the fate of America: border security.
But there’s this, from the L.A. Times:
“More than 1 million of the estimated 11 million immigrants in the country without legal status live in Los Angeles County, according to the Migration Policy Institute.”
Bravo, Beck. Bravo. Let’s hope your dig-in of sanctuary over sanity sells as well with family members of the next victim of illegal-on-citizen murder as it does with the crony leftists who keep you in your post.

Anti-Trumpers Are Subverting The Laws Of The United States
Published on Nov 16, 2016
Led by hubris riddled quasi leaders like Rahm Emanuel, A portion of The American people have chosen to ignore that we are a nation of laws. Laws designating that as citizens of the United States we are protected by our Bill of Rights and Constitution. Just because a lawless Global entity controlling the puppet strings of the Executive and Legislative branches of an unpopular corporacratic version of the U.S. Government altered the policies of the United States in the name of a globalist agenda doesn’t mean those laws no longer exist. The 1952 Naturalization law.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel:

‘Chicago Will Always Be a Sanctuary City’

First, from Los Angeles, and the double-down from the police chief, Charlie Beck, that his officers would not deport illegals from his sanctuary city, no matter what Donald Trump says. Now this, from the highest governing official in Chicago, none other than Mayor Rahm Emanuel: Trump be hanged, we’re staying sanctuary, too.
His statement, according to the Chicago Tribune, upon being asked if the city would turn aside its sanctuary policy in the face of a new Trump administration deportation demand:
“‘To all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety as we’ve spoken to, you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago,” Emanuel said. “Chicago will always be a sanctuary city.'”
What is going on in the minds of liberals who think standing up to Trump and letting in illegals, some of whom will undoubtedly commit crimes against America’s citizens, will go over well with the voters?

Trump has vowed, as recently as in a Sunday interview on “60 Minutes,” to build a wall along America’s southern borders and to deport illegals who’ve committed crimes in this country.
But leftists like Emanuel, along with Beck, as previously reported here, put personal agenda before safety – despite the fact they’re both in the business of upholding the safety and security of the American individual.
From Fox News:
“Emanuel didn’t address any of Trump’s campaign promises directly, but this was the most he’s spoken on the immigration issue as he tries to bolster support that had sharply decreased with the handling of the Laquan McDonald police shooting investigation.
“‘Now, administrations may change, but our values and principles as it relates to inclusion does not,’ Emanuel added. ‘People from all faiths, all backgrounds and all parts of the world have beaten their path to the city of Chicago because Chicago offers them and — more importantly, as the son and the grandson of an immigrant — their children and grandchildren a chance at the American dream.’
“Emanuel had urged any immigrants who are fearful of their legal status to contact the city’s 311 center to get information about legal resources and other programs.”
Contact the city? That’s not just passive resistance to law. That’s aiding and abetting. And Emanuel, like the rest of his anti-Trump leftists, ought to be held to account for any criminal activities that result, via illegal against citizen.
