POPE FRANCIS NOMINATES OVER 1,000 "SUPER CONFESSORS" TO FORGIVE CERTAIN SINS~IGNORES JESUS AS OUR HIGH PRIEST & ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER

SIN IS SIN TO GOD: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MORTAL AND VENIAL IN THE BIBLE!
1 John 1:9-"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 2:1-"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous"
Hebrews 7:25-"Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them."
Hebrews 9:24-"For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence."

ROME — Roman Catholic leader Jorge Bergoglio, also known as Pope Francis, recently nominated over 1,000 priests to be “super confessors” and forgive sins that only top level officials would normally claim authority to forgive.
As the Vatican has declared 2016 as being the “Jubilee Year of Mercy,” the pontiff selected 1,142 priests that he dubbed “missionaries of mercy” and sent them out to receive confession from those who had committed especially grave sins in the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church.
According to reports, such sins include plotting violence against the pontiff, defiling communion, violating the secrecy of a confession or the ordaining a bishop without authorization.
Francis spoke to an estimated 700 of his selected “super confessors” on Tuesday as he provided them instruction on the day before Ash Wednesday. He stated that some have come to avoid going to confession because priests chastise others for their sins or pry for details about their transgressions.
Priests “aren’t called to judge with a sense of superiority” he said.
“It is not with the cudgel of judgment that we succeed in bringing the lost sheep back to the fold,” the pontiff stated.
Reports state that priests will be spreading out in various nations, as one plans to make himself available to Canadian Eskimos, and another will spend the year touring Australia in a camper.
“Dating back to the 12th Century, those who committed ‘reserved sins’ had their cases evaluated by a tribunal within the Vatican city before being sent to the Pope,” Catholic Online reports.
The outlet also notes that at the conclusion of confession, persons are assigned an act of penance, asserting that “[d]oing the penance will diminish the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven.”
However, some disagree with the practice, stating that confessing before a priest is not necessary now that mankind can go to the one and only High Priest, Christ Jesus.
“[T]here is only one mediator between God and man and that is the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Tim. 2:5),” Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries in Plano, Texas told Christian News Network. “The Lord Jesus, the perfect high priest, put an end to the sacerdotal priesthood when He offered Himself the perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins to all who would repent and believe His gospel.”
He said that mere men, such as the selected “super confessors,” have no authority from God to forgive sins, and the “pope has no authority to appoint men to forgive sins.”
“The Bible tells us only God can forgive sins (Mark 2:7),” Gendron stated. “In fact, when Simon the sorcerer tried to buy the gift of God with money, Peter, who Catholics mistakenly believe was their first pope, told him to go directly to God to confess his sin (Acts 8:18-22).”
He encouraged those burdened with the weight and guilt of their sin to confess to God Himself.
“God’s Word tells us, ‘If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9),'” Gendron outlined. “‘Everyone who believes in Jesus receives forgiveness of sins through His name (Acts 10:43).'”
“Every born again Christian has this blessed hope: ‘God made us alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross (Col. 2:13-14),'” he continued. “Forgiveness of sins is available to all who repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15).”

Jesus Is Our High Priest, Advocate, and Mediator

             JESUS IS OUR HIGH PRIEST

Wherefore it behooved him in all things to be made like unto his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people (Hebrews 2:17).
Jesus was not a high priest after the order of Aaron. He is a spiritual high priest after the order of Melchizedek. No one followed Melchizedek in His priesthood. No one follows Jesus in His (Hebrews 5:106:207:3). Jesus is the forerunner of His people. He has gone before them in order to intercede (plead on their behalf). This is the reason He was made a High Priest.
It was necessary for Jesus to be made like His brethren in the flesh so that He could understand their trials and temptations (Hebrews 4:15). Therefore, He can have mercy on them when they sin. Jesus is faithful. He can be trusted to keep His promises. He became our High Priest when He took upon Himself the nature of man, but kept His divine nature and likeness to God. He atoned for the sins of the people and reconciled them to God by the shedding of His blood (Romans 5:9-10). After He shed His blood, Jesus was qualified to enter again into Heaven and there serve as the High Priest for the church because of the blood He had shed for their sins (Hebrews 4:148:19:11).

JESUS IS OUR ADVOCATE

My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1). God’s children must oppose sin. They must always strive against sin(Hebrews 12:4). God has given us His Word to help us in our struggles. His Wordteaches us the right way to live. However, we still fall into sin (1 John 1:6-9). When we do, God has provided an Advocate for us. An advocate is one who pleads another’s cause. He is an intercessor. When Christians sin, they must repent andpray to the Father for forgiveness (Acts 8:221 John 1:9). When they do, Jesus goes to the Father in Heaven and pleads with Him to forgive us (Ephesians 4:32).

JESUS IS OUR MEDIATOR

For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). A mediator is one who reconciles opposing persons or parties.
Many today think they can go to Heaven by their own way. However, Jesus Christ is the only Mediator between God and man. There is no other way to go to Heaven except through Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Jesus was human so he can fairly represent man on the earth. He is the Christ and can stand before the throne of God on behalf of man. If anyone comes to the Father, it is only through Jesus Christ, our Mediator.
Jesus died for all men and therefore is the Mediator for all men. He died in order to give us a better covenant which is established upon better promises than the Old Testament (Hebrews 8:6-7). Under the Old Testament, the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sin (Hebrews 10:4). Whenever men were forgiven under the Law of Moses, their sins were charged against the blood of Christ. Jesus had to come into the world in the form of a man and shed His blood to be qualified to make intercession for all men. He shed His precious blood so that all the world could have the opportunity for eternal life (Hebrews 9:15).
Jesus Christ is our High Priest, Advocate, and Mediator.

The Bible Debunks Catholic Pope's New  "Super Confessor Priests" THE GUARANTEE OF JESUS CHRIST
Published on Feb 13, 2016
The Roman Catholic Pope Francis has appointed over 1000 SUPER-PRIEST-CONFESSORS to hear the confessions of people who committed "grave sins" such as abortion. That is nothing but man-made tradition and it is not Biblical at all. People can go directly to God, through Jesus Christ without confessing their sins to a Catholic Priest or even one of those "Super-Confessor-Priests" I speak as a former Roman Catholic who was delivered from the darkness of the Roman Catholic Church!
